This is game is like a summer blockbuster movie--lots of special effects, video cut scenes, good looking characters, tons of puzzles and HOPs, beautiful artwork.
The puzzles range from easy to challenging, but easy & hard options available for each puzzle.
Even HOPs could be challenging, but match 3 option is available.
Expert mode disables Hint & skip, but allows helpful messages & plus indicators. For expert players, this is all that's needed, as 90% of actions to progress is logical. Sleuthing aspect is excellent.
This game is great value for the money and will provide challenge to both beginner & expert gamers.
I recommend this game!

Finally, a magical fantasy love story that I could follow without yawning. Beautiful characters, touching love story, appropriate voice overs, good combination of HOPs and puzzles. Puzzles had just the right amount of challenge, but are the kind seen many times over elsewhere.
Sleuthing aspect is excellent. Thoroughly enjoyable game that goes by quickly.
Two thumbs up.
I recommend this game!

This is a nice game and definitely worth a look.
Granted, it does not have a lot of special effects and pizazz, but the story is good. Puzzles are not hard. HOPs are standard.
Expert mode allows Hint, skip & helpful messages, but 90% of actions to progress are easy to intuit, making for excellent sleuthing experience.
There are magical scrolls (bottom right) that need to be used in some scenes, and a third of the quest is finding ingredients for the magic scroll.
The only thing that could have been better is the artwork, which is OK, but not spectacular. The devs are on the right track for creating great HO games, with a lit bit of improvement in artwork and special effects category.
I recommend this game!

The artwork isn't that great.
Story takes place in Egypt and South American settings but a griffin flies you to these locales. The mythical creatures are mixed up in time and genre.
HOPs have lots of interactions to complete You can opt for mahjong instead of HOP. Puzzles are not hard, but lack Reset button
Story is nonsensical and pedestrian.
I didn't enjoy the game, because the artwork is so uninteresting, with characters looking robotic. The ho-hum story also did not help. Sleuthing aspect not fun because often not logical or intutitive.
I recommend a demo before buying.
I don't recommend this game.

The story isn't great, but the artwork is awesome. Voiceovers are excellent. HOPs can be tricky. Puzzles are not hard, but does give your brain cells a good spin.
The game is not very long, but enjoyable due to the beautifully done artwork, which is colorful, bright, super clear and sharp.
I recommend this game!

Loved this game. I love cruises in real life, and this is a nice virtual cruise with a twist.
The artwork is fantastic. The story is good. HOPs are on the challenging side, with option of jigsaw puzzles if you don't like hunting for small, well hidden objects. There is a good deal of interactions within HOPs. Puzzles are good variety & not too hard. I did not, however, like the puzzle involving opening numbered drawers--instructions didn't make sense.
The ending was implausible for me, but this is a minor gripe considering the entire game was well done.
Expert mode disables hint, skip & map clues, but helpful messages remain and difficulty mode can be changed any time.
Really well done game. I recommend heartily.
I recommend this game!

The artwork and clarity of the graphics are beautiful and a pleasure to immerse in.
The story is the weakest aspect of the game. The premise has been dealt with many times over, and this version is not terribly original and seems pedestrian.
Aside from the story, the game itself is very good, especially the artwork, which is fantastic. The puzzles are mostly easy, but there are a few near the end that take more time to solve.
Among the magical creatures encountered include: a vampiress, a village of centaurs, a dragon to transport you to different locations, a mermaid, werewolves, and a griffin.
The sleuthing aspect is great and well done.
I enjoyed myself, even though I didn't care much for the story.
I recommend this game!

This is a possible new series, and the 1st in the series was great fun. Excellent storyline, easy to follow plot, good voiceovers and special effects.
The protagonist is a guy, very good looking one at that.
Only minor downside to the game is it seems short, maybe because the tasks to progress are logical and make sense, so it goes quickly. Puzzles are mostly easy except for 2, which I found vexing.
Expert mode does not allow hint or skip or clues on map, but helpful messages remain and are plenty for experienced players.
I liked the premise of this new series and hope more will be forthcoming, but make the game longer. Maybe have a love interest or female partner for the next game.
I recommend this game!

This is one game I wished I bought as a CE instead of SE.
However, the SE has extras typically seen in CE, but the SE version includes 30% extras, but to access the rest you need the CE version.
To start, the game has an Indian (Asian) background, but the characters look Caucasian. The Indian theme is a refreshing change from European and Western countries as the backdrop.
The game is quite long and the story is developed without too many shortcuts, but without being bogged down in boring tedious details. There is a journal which further explains the narrative plot and the protagonist's thoughts in her quest.
The artwork is beautiful. Lots of special effects. Voiceovers are very good, except the little girl Sophia, done by the mother's voice actress in not-believable baby girl voice.
Puzzles are mostly easy, but there are lots. HOPs have good variety.
Extras include a comic book summarizing the main chapter, but it stops where the bonus chapter begins, but still a nice extra.
Strategy Guide is included with the SE. There is a Memory room with mementos surrounding the protagonist & Sophia with handwritten notes--the details included with this game are astounding and abundant. There is also a Hall of Fame for achievements obtained in SE (and CE). Some items encountered in scenes interact for realism (lamp turns on light, mobiles chime, etc).
This game is a keeper. I recommend the CE.
I recommend this game!

The mechanics of this game are flawed and many:
1- on Windows 10, game projects as a square screen that fills 75% of laptop screen, ie will not fill entire screen
2- plays as Timed mode. No option to play on relaxed or no time mode.
3- power ups are lame
4- No skip option for any level
These are major flaws that seriously hamper an otherwise fun game. It is a really frustrating game that could have been a fun game.
It offers HOPs and a decent mystery story in between levels, and even a bonus. Be forewarned, items to find in HOPs are small and dark, but not difficult for aficionados.
I like the game, but found the frustrations outweighed its good points. Message to game developers--give players OPTIONS for more enjoyable game experience.
I don't recommend this game.
