This game is good for fans of pirates and mermaids. It is quite a long game, and therefore a good value for the money. Puzzles are easy. HOPs are standard variety, but one is exclusively finding morphing objects.
There are a lot of voiceovers and a lot of reading pages strewn about (boring).
I am not enamored of the story or the graphics, but the sleuthing aspect is excellent.
I recommend this game!
In this hidden object murder mystery, a single page from a journal leads a woman down a dangerous path of deception to track down a murderer.

This game really appeals to me. The music is good, excellent graphics, good story, easy puzzles. Not all actions to take are obvious.
I like that this is a contemporary setting and no gloomy mansion in Victorian setting. This game is a classic. Very satisfying end.

This is a nice game, very long game, with many puzzles and HOPs to play. Virtually every step to progress requires a puzzle or HOP, most are easy. Actions to take are logical or easy to intuit, making for a fun game. Hint, skip and helpful messages allowed even on expert mode.
The story is very loosely based on the Alice in Wonderland, but the narrative is quite different.
Artwork is excellent, except for the video clip in the intro in which the protagonist (you) appears robotic. Other than that, everything is nicely done.
I am not as enamored with this game in the series as the ones involving Oz, but it is a nice game that should be collected in the series.
I recommend this game!

I didn't enjoy all the puzzles this game had to offer, but the artwork is exceptionally well done and appropros for the Victorian era. The characters pay tribute to literature classics from Jules Verne and Conan Doyle. If you are a classics lover, this game is right up your alley.
The 1st part of the game goes rather quickly, but the latter 2/3 are quite long and involved. Not all actions to take are obvious, esp when played on expert mode, but Hint & skip are allowed. Puzzles range from super easy to moderately tedious, and few were a pain. The dolphin puzzle was really a pain as any deviation from the white line landed you right back to starting line.
The story is a bit confusing to follow, but has a happy ending and an unexpected twist with regard to the true villain.
The game is high quality throughout and is destined to be a classic.
I recommend this game!

This game is FANTASTIC!!!
It takes place on a Survivor style reality show set, but is so much better than the actual Survivor reality show. It's a long game, too. Just when you think you're near the end, it keeps going.
There is a lot to do and see. There are more puzzles than HOPs, but puzzles are mostly easy to mildly challenging.
The artwork is beautiful, fun to look at, and contemporary.

One thing to beware, is the protagonist has paranormal ability, When his wrist tattoo (bottom right) glows red, it's time to touch the tattoo and click on main screen for an action to take.
This is a fun game with excellent story. Wish more games had this level of quality.

Can't say I liked all the puzzles, esp the ones where one action affects another and they were harder than they had to be. You have choice of hard & easy for puzzles and match 3 instead of HOP. Some actions to take are counter intuitive.
Other than that, this is a fantastic game with lots of eye candy.

The demo for this game doesn't do it justice. You need to play the entire game to appreciate the artistry. It has the best video intro I've seen in a while.
The story is refreshing from the usual spooky mansion, murdering villains littering the HOP landscape. It's a combination of Lilliputia and Wind in the Willows where the little animals speak and transport you to locations in the forest.
You have to create spells (when the spell book at lower left corner glows, it's time to create a spell) in order to vanquish the villain, appropriately named Rattus.
The HOPs have occasional morphing objects, not many in SE, but present. The puzzles range from easy to mildly challenging. There are also quite a few eye hand coordination games like hit the target, moving right-left to avoid objects or keep your balance.
The artwork for the game is superb--beautiful, sharp, high def and magical. Some of the drawings for the background story are crude, but the story itself is easy to follow and timeless.
This is a game that has to be played to the end to appreciate.

Not sure why this game got a mature content warning, because it is not scary, bloody, or creepy. There are some black shadowed ghosts that pop out occasionally that have to be defeated with your amulet, but I consider this pretty standard for this type of game.
This was a fantastic game with excellent story that is easy to follow and not too far fetched.
The devs like to make game really challenging on expert mode, so no hint, no skip, very few helpful messages, etc, and these are not really needed for expert fishies. There were a few moments where it was not obvious what needed to be done next.
Everything about this game is excellent quality except for voiceovers, which overacted in some parts.
Loved the artwork, which is high def, sharp, clear, nice to look at, esp, the art nouveau style mansion at the end.
I thoroughly enjoyed the game experience. High quality game throughout. Two thumbs up.
I recommend this game!
It was supposed to be a routine mission. But when a dragon attacks your plane, crash-landing in a lush valley, you're drawn into the adventure of a lifetime!

Pleasantly surprised by this game. The story is original, easy to follow, and not unbelievable.
Voiceovers are particularly excellent and appropriate to character's age, gender and appearance.
There are a lot of puzzles, many requiring patience to complete, but conceptually have been encountered before and thus familiar but different. Some puzzles are also super easy, but puzzles are more frequent than HOPs, which are varied and have a few items are really well hidden.
Expert mode allows hint & skip & some helpful messages, but will be challenging sometimes.
The artwork is fantastic. This takes place in Burma, and the male and female characters are beautifully drawn. Interior scenes are well done and capture the flavor and ambience of Chinese culture. The static scenes are high def and a pleasure to look at. However, the cut scenes are a bit blurry and not high def like I would wish, but 90% of game experience is terrific.
This is quite a long game with many locations visited. There is a lot to see and do. All the elements come together for a fantastic game experience.
I recommend this game!

Loved this game and the artwork, which has lots of flowers everywhere and feminine, romantic interiors.
This a decent length game, excellent story. The HOPs are varied with lots of interaction to obtain objects. Quite a few puzzles, too. Puzzles are easy at beginning and get harder towards the end.
Sleuthing aspect is excellent. Expert mode allows hint, skip, and helpful messages.
This is a high quality and high value game I would heartily recommend.
