200 levels to play divided into 5 chapters, 40 levels each chapter Background Graphics are static and repeat between chapters. No storyline, no animations, no special effects during game play Artwork is average. Goal of game is to remove all GOLD Cards, not remove all cards. Mechanics of game is deliberately difficult by limiting card deck size to 12-17 cards. Shop for special powers consists of Shuffle, Re-do, and Joker card. Each joker card costs $5000!!! Each level does have bonus cards such as $499 coins, +1 shuffle, +1 joker to help you along. Card options are limited & artwork is sub-par. There are better solitaire games out there. Do not purchase this one unless it's on sale or you are desperate.
I am a huge fan of the Jewel Match series. This game gets back to building castles Halloween style. The M3 main levels do not have multiple rooms to play, but in between the main levels are M3 to acquire emeralds and stars. Stars allow you to buy the animated creatures (ghosts, bats, ravens) and statues that complete the scene. You have choice of playing in timed mode, move limited mode, and relaxed (no time or move limit). However, in between the main levels, there is a race the clock mode to acquire gold stars (pay attention to the map at bottom left to guide you in eliminating key gold tiles since you cannot manually move the M3 boards).
The game is thoroughly enjoyable and the castles to build are gorgeous.
I am not a huge fan of the vampire genre, but this one is the exception and highly engaging. The characters are all drop dead gorgeous. The game is quite long. There is lots to see and do. Lots of puzzles. Artwork is excellent. It is also well written. The game is excellent and highly recommended.
Not sure why this game got such poor reviews. This game has fantastic artwork. I so enjoyed the journey through Heavenfall, which is a magic academy reminiscent of Harry Potter genre, except the students are fauns. This is quite a long game. A few puzzles are quite vexing, but skip is allowed, even on hardest level. The beautiful artwork more than makes up for any perceived deficiencies in my opinion.
Really enjoyed this game, probably the best in this series. The artwork is excellent. Story is not the greatest, but fun factor more than makes up for any deficiency. Hardest level disables hint & skip, but puzzles are easy and helpful messages and task objectives are more than enough for expert gamers.
It looks like a match 3 game, but is actually a hidden object adventure. Your car breaks down and becomes a candy mess. Fortunately you spot a house with 3 old ladies inside who need help with various tasks--break to hidden objects, mini puzzles, finding missing items, etc--until you are rewarded with a magic spell to return your car to its functioning form.
It's a game full of christmas objects and ephemera, soothing background music, but no voiceovers. Misspellings and grammatical mistakes abound, but game play is smooth.
This is a fun game that is cheerful, a nice change from gloom and doom.
Loved the artwork for this game, but the format is definitely different (but not impossible) from usual HOP games.
In this game you scour the scene for possible interactions (magnifying glass pops up) and parts of objects to find pop up at the bottom, go out of scene and look for items here or elsewhere. This takes some getting used to and will probably annoy some.
Puzzles are easy. Voiceovers are good. Hint & skip are allowed even on hardcore mode.
This game is good for beginners to the HOP genre and pretty straightforward in other regards.
After inheriting an old antique shop, Emily discovers an odd diary that seems to contain a number of clues as to the book's origin. As she delves deeper into the mystery, what she uncovers will change her forever.
This game is for people who like finding treasure (needle) from a haystack. The bad reviews are not deserved. The challenge is to find HIDDEN objects, so yes, items are small and well hidden. The magnifier doesn't work that well, but I liked the challenge of finding hidden objects. The graphics are excellent, but static. No special effects or video cut scenes. There is a lot of reading, and the character names are unpronounceacle. That part is boring. In between HOPs are puzzles like jigsaw puzzles, search for words, match 2 objects hidden under cards/objects, etc. It's a very simple, basic game. You have to enjoy finding small, well hidden objects and reading a boring novella.
Enter the role of Eve Glover, one of the best CCPP's agents, sent to investigate the lack of radio communication from your scientific team on Iceland, researching harmonium radiation.
I loved this game, but good grief, Eipix needs to update their intro and make all video cut scenes HD. The game, although good, is going to look dated a few yrs from now.
There is a lot to do in this game. Puzzles are easy. Sleuthing aspect is excellent. Story is excellent and easy to follow.
You will have to use an amulet for certain tasks, such as mending, cleaning, and changing phases, but amulet will not work until you have acquired enough crystals to power up amulet. Also you have a helper friend to obtain items up high. He is kind of cute, but disappears in middle of game and reappears towards the end.
