You have voiceovers, the choice of Casual or Advanced Modes and a diary.
The graphics are clear and easy to see the items you need.
The music was unobstrusive and didn't distract me.
The hidden objects are very different and quite fun. You get a balloon which pops up with images which you have to find to collect items. In most cases you get two balloons in one scene and often you have to go to other locations to find certain items. I enjoyed this cause it made a change was just HOGs. I left the balloons open so that it was easy to find them again later. Make sure you check each area carefully cause its easy to miss something.
For the mini games you locate chests. Once you find all the items [such as sliders, rings, buttons - things like that] you can complete the mini games. These are mostly easy to do. In some cases, you have to do things in a certain order. I always keep a note book beside me for all games, just to jot things down cause after a long day at work, I tend to be brain dead.
You can interact with some of the characters by asking them questions. Make sure you do cause it will be to your advantage.
Its quite a long game. It took me most of the working week to complete the game and bonus [a couple of hours each night].
I didn't use the hint button, so not sure how long it takes to recharge. I used the Strategy Guide once when I was really stuck, which was fine.
Overall a great game and well worth adding to your collection. I will definitely play this game again.
A great game, although it could be more challenging. Played on Hardcore for both the game and the bonus. Also played all the HOGs and mini games.
You have:
~ Live actors ~ Voiceovers ~ 3 modes of play [Casual to Hardcore] ~ Achievements Board ~ Strategy Guide if you really get stuck ~ Find 50 owls - then look in the Owl Hide ~ Interactive jump around locations map [cheats mode and I won't use it] ~ Inventory interaction [use your inventory items in the hidden object games]
The hidden object games were clear and very easy to play.
The mini games were predominantly easy - a couple of medium ones.
The music was mainly thunder and rain - very apt for the game play.
I enjoyed the game and bonus. Definitely recommended. You are the same Detective as in Raincliff which I think was better and more challenging.
If you love hidden object games, then this game is for you.
You have:
~ Voiceovers ~ Diary ~ Rules board ~ Score board.
BE CAREFUL. Because it is on a timer, if you don't complete all the stages of a level before the time is up, then it starts back at the beginning - AS I SOON FOUND OUT! When the timer is getting low, then I start to panic because I don't want to go back to the beginning again, so I use all my hints cause some of the items are really hard to see. I hate using hints on any game, but you will really need to use them in this game. The timer cannot be turned off.
There are a mixture of puzzles, find 20 items and jewel boards, so there is something for everyone. I enjoyed doing the puzzles and jewel boards.
The graphics are okay, albeit a little dated, but then it is quite an old game.
I thought this would be a good game in play in between all the other big grunty games I play, just like the earlier Jewel Quest Match 3 games, but this game is hard to play and you really have to concentrate.
Overall, I will play this game again at some stage - definitely not when I'm tired.
Yep, I am definitely enjoying this game. I haven't played a game like this before - I have played all the Jewel Quest games and thought this game would match up as good - AND IT HAS.
The game has relaxed or timed modes. I have been playing the timed mode. As you get further into the game you realise it is not as easy as you thought.
There are voiceovers and we have a Trophies Room as well.
The graphics are great and the music is actually what you would imagine as being Egyptian.
You are actually learning a lot about ancient Egypt as you go.
So get you city up and running and have fun doing it.
Definitely recommended.
I recommend this game!

Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart Collector's Edition
Dive into an epic journey as a museum owner in pursuit of an undead pirate who has kidnapped your daughter in Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart!
Terrific game. Played in Expert Mode for both the game and the bonus.
You have voiceovers and you can play Regular or Expert Mode.
The graphics and audio are superb.
Hidden objects are very easy to play - everything is crystal clear. If you don't want to play the HOGs then you can play Mahjong. I did a mixture of both cause there are a lot of HOGs to play.
Played all mini games which were also very easy.
I just wish the game had been more challenging.
I didn't use help at all so not sure how long it took for the hint to reload.
Had a look in the Strategy Guide at the end of the game and all seemed fine.
Definitely recommended - especially for new and intermediate fishies.
You have voiceovers. Diary No map No modes of challenge You can use items from your tools in the HOS
The game was very dark and often hard to see things clearly. The HOS were fairly easy to medium The mini games were very easy to play - some were fun.
Frustratingly there were sparkles everywhere which, as an expert, I hate.
I noticed that when I left the game and came back to it later that I had to do tasks all over again, so I became very confused. In some places I had been in before previously I was locked out again until I found the right tools to get back in. I gave up after a while because it became frustrating.
Overall I hope other fishies have a better experience than I did.
Awesome game. Played on Hardcore throughout the game and in the bonus section. Played all HOS and mini games.
You have:
* Live actors. * Casual, Advanced and Hardcore modes. * Interactive map [I won't use this cause I think its cheating]. * A crow called Hamlet to help you - can be sarky. * Find 22 goblins. * Use the book of fire to help you - find certain objects to start the book.
The HOS were easy to find. The mini games were easy to medium - some were quite fun. Just wished they were more challenging.
The graphics are great, which is the norm for Elephant. It was mostly quiet throughout the game, with little music but that didn't bother me at all.
There is lots to do and items to collect.
Quite a long game, and the bonus is lengthy too.
Overall a great game to put in your collection. Definitely worth its weight in gold.
It should have been a tremendous achievement, but the tunnel through the Ridge of Leviathan became the site of a great disaster. What really happened that day?
Another Elephant gem. I enjoyed this game. You have:
- Live actors [but their lips don't move]; - 3 modes [Casual, Advanced and Hardcore]; - Find red, silver and gold flowers [I found 150 I think]; - Voiceovers; - You open the secrets of the Pantheon Treasury in the Bonus content; - Integrated map where you can jump around [I didn't use this as I think it is cheating]; - Use items in inventory in some HOS.
I played Hardcore all the way through, including the bonus, and didn't skip any HOS or mini games.
The HOS and mini games were easy to medium. Some you had to do in the right sequence so it took some time to nut them out. But none of the mini games were too frustrating or hard. I found quite a few of them fun to do and some did take a bit of time to finish.
The graphics I found a bit too garish - especially the red, but that might just be me. Not much in music - pretty quiet most of the way through, but that didn't bother me much either.
A very long game and the bonus is lengthy too, which carries on from the main game.
Overall a very good Si-Fi game and definitely recommended.
