REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME
I really loved this game. The challenge is great, the tiles are gorgeous and you can still carry on playing while the tiles fall.
There are Timed, Limited Moves and Relaxed modes of play. I played on Timed this time round and will play Limited Moves next time I play this game.
There are 120 levels. I finished building the Temple at Level 107, so the rest of the game is all about finishing the levels.
There is plenty to keep you busy throughout the game. The boards are massive, so you have to be fast. I found the timer a bit stingy but you can accumulate extra time, bombs, etc by matching 5 or more tiles. Believe me, these come in handy.
The last few levels are pretty intense. I managed to do all of them within the time specified, but when I came to Level 120 it was just too hard. I must have played that level a dozen times but just couldn't complete it without running out of time. So I had to change to Relaxed to finish it. This was due to the spider webs covering the tiles and, because the board was very tight, it was hard to match tiles to get rid of them. However, don't let that put you off - it really is a terrific game.
So thank you devs for a terrific game. I'm now off to buy Ancient Jewels: Babylon, which I haven't played before.
Definitely comes recommended. Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
Happy New Year fishies.
I bought this game based on the great reviews and wasn't disappointed. The story line is easy to follow and I really liked the graphics.
I noticed straight away that the graphics were different from previous games in the past and it had a much different feel - which I liked. I hope Elephant carry on with this, as I was a little bored with their games of late.
There is:
* Casual, Advanced, Hardcore and Custom modes (in Custom mode, you can turn off Hint and Skip which I love);
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Interactive map;
* 12 Achievements (some with 3-5 stars);
* Find a puzzle piece in each scene;
* Find collectibles in some scenes;
* 13 replayable mini-games and HOPs.
The graphics are superb. Each scene is very detailed and colourful. This is one of those games where you will stop and stare around to take it all in.
The music is orchestral and plays quietly in the background.
The HOPs are mainly slightly interactive straightforward and silhouette. These are very easy to do and items are clear to see.
The mini-games ranged from easy to medium and I really enjoyed them. None are boring and each one only take a few minutes to do.
If you miss any collectibles or puzzles, you can find these after the game has finished.
All up, the game took me about 4 hours to play, not skipping anything.
Overall, an enjoyable game to play and I look forward to the next instalment.
Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME
I have played the Cave Quest 2 CE game twice now and thought I would get this game as well.
Even though this game is 10 years old, you can still play it on Windows 10 without any problem.
This game is very similar to Cave Quest 2 but is easier to play. However, don't get too confident because it still has its challenges.
There are no voiceovers, but the dialogue is short and easy to read.
I enjoyed the story and I liked buying what I needed from the shop to help my family.
The game took me about 3 hours to play all up. When you have finished, please go and play Cave Quest 2 because, after 10 years, the game has come a long way and is much more challenging with a terrific story line and much longer gameplay.
These are 2 games that you can play over and over again.
Definitely comes recommended.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
Well, this has to be the best Match 3 and Adventure game I've ever played. Why? Because the challenge is great, there is heaps to do and the game goes on forever.
You can play Easy, Normal or Hard modes with Limited Moves or Timed. This time I played Normal and Timed. At the end of the game I got a pathetic 67%, so I know I will be playing again and again until I get it right. I need to be more careful and take my time about what I choose for power-ups and extras for battles, etc. Strategy is the key here.
The graphics are perfect. Its colourful but easy on the eye. The music is exquisite and I had it on loud all the way through.
As you progress through the game, you will be finding items you need to carry on. Don't be fooled folks, this is not an easy game and you may be holding on to items for a long time.
I loved the Match 3 levels. Some you will get easily enough and other will take multiple attempts. FAILURE for me came up a lot and I replayed them until I got it right. I'm one of those players that doesn't like to use the power-ups (on the left hand side of the screen) until towards the end of the game when it gets really tough.
The storyline is easy to follow. Even though there are only intermittent voiceovers, reading through the dialogue is no problem because its short and to the point.
I've just now bought the original Cave Quest which came out in 2011. Its very similar, but easier to play. And yes, I can play it no problem on Windows 10.
All up, I played the game for well into double digits. Its a very long game and the bonus is lengthy as well.
So, don't let this classic pass you by. Its fun, addictive and can be played many times over.
Happy playing fishies. Well done devs. This is a gem.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME
I quite enjoyed the game, even though it was too easy. The aim of the game is to get 3 stars for each level and then to buy buildings and hearts with your coins.
There are 200 levels to play and you can either play Expert or Casual and Timed or Untimed. I played on Expert and Timed.
The graphics are gorgeous and each tile is well defined and easy to see. You can still play while the tiles are falling.
I loved the sound of the explosions and breaking of chains and ice.
The timer is very generous, so even if you don't like Timed, you can still play this and not be under any pressure.
As you progress through the game there are HOPs to play and you will go to battle with the hearts you buy. There are only a few buildings to buy - its mainly the hearts you will need to buy for the battle games.
Personally I think there were too many extras when playing the game - like rockets, etc. I would have preferred to have them on the side of the screen to use if I needed them. It felt like the game was being played for me, which then made it too easy.
Each level takes around 40 seconds to 2 minutes to play, so if you get busy with other things, it doesn't take any time to finish the levels.
If you feel like you are going nowhere fast, you can restart the level at any time.
I was hoping it would get more difficult when I got over Level 100, but sadly it didn't. Its just as easy as the much earlier levels.
Overall, its a very pretty game and absolutely perfect for beginners or casual players. Younger family members would like this also. So, for them, I recommend this game.
I would love to see another game by this developer, but with the more experienced players in mind. Maybe they could have a 'Diabolical' mode of play as well! Sure would be nice.
I recommend this game!

REVEW OF COMPLETED GAME
I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Its easy to play, has a good degree of challenge and I loved the sound effects. This game has 100 levels.
The modes of play are:
* Relaxed - Unlimited Moves
* Challenge - Limited Moves
* Times - Race Against the Clock
With Casual play, you have less obstacles and more power ups. With Expert play, you have more obstacles and less power-ups. I played on Expert Timed for the entire game and found the challenge good.
The graphics are gorgeous. Each tile is clear to see and you can carry on playing while they fall - I find this critical, especially in Timed mode.
As well as Match 3, there are little puzzles as well - like finding 12 books, 12 scrolls and 12 potions. There are also a few jigsaw puzzles to do. I enjoyed doing these.
As you make your way through the game and collecting diamonds, you will be buying buildings, etc for the village. And what a village it turns out to be! You have everything - even a pub!
Oh by the way, if you feel like you are getting nowhere fast, you can restart the level again without any penalty.
I didn't use any of the power-ups during the game, so I didn't get achievements for these. If you are playing on Timed mode and you run out of time but only have a couple of tiles left, then you can use 20 diamonds and you get an extra 20 seconds. I only had to do this twice. For the rest of the game I was able to do them within the specified times. At the end of the game, I still had 1,520 diamonds left.
There is a book at the top of the screen where you can claim your achievements and replay any board again to get top score.
Overall, a fabulous game and definitely worth putting in your collection.
Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!

REVEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
I thoroughly enjoyed the game - its witty, funny and you will be going to a lot of locations. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert and Custom modes;
* Interactive Map;
* Journal;
* 10 Achievements (some with 3 stars);
* Find 27 Collectibles and 27 morphs in game and bonus;
* 18 replayable HOPs;
* Tool Belt (with knife, pliers and great-grandad's charm);
* Ultimate HOP at the end of the game; and
* Ultimate puzzle at the end of the game.
The graphics are gorgeous and each scene is colourful and well-defined. The music will be familiar to you if you have played any of the games from this series before.
The hidden object games are mainly straightforward, silhouette and finding pairs. These are very easy to do. Keep an eye out for the morph in each HOP. You can redo all the HOPs in the Extras at any time during the game to get 3 stars and 100% accuracy.
I enjoyed playing the mini-games. All are very accomplishable without too much stress.
There is one morph and 1 collectible in each scene throughout the game and bonus. Get them all and you get achievements. However, if you miss any or want to do them later, then you can do them in the Extras.
You will have a tool-belt with you which you will use often. This consists of a belt, knife and great-granddad's charm.
The bonus is very lengthy and is about the bumbling Andrew Collins who wants to get into the exclusive Adventurers Guild Committee. What he has to do to get there is another fun adventure.
I played 'Wanderlust - The Bermuda Secret' before this game and loved it, so I bought this game as well. Both are excellent games and definitely worth playing. So, when the next BOGO comes along, these two games are worth buying together.
Definitely comes recommended. Happy playing fishies. Stay safe.

REVIEW FROM COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
What a fabulous game and I enjoyed every minute. This is a challenging game with some very funny moments. There is:
* Easy to Custom modes (you can turn off Hint and Skip);
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Interactive map;
* Gear bag (with a knife and rope descender).
The graphics are superb. There is so much detail in every scene that you will just stop to stare around. The colours are bright and each scene is well defined and quite beautiful. The music is stunning to listen to as you play.
The hidden object games are straightforward, silhouette, finding flowers, matching pairs and so much more. Some of these are quite challenging. Don't forget about the morph in each scene.
Wow, some of the mini-games are quite hard. Yes, its been a while since I've had challenging ones to play. A couple of them took me ages to finally defeat them.
So, do you get the CE or SE? In the CE, you have:
* A long bonus game;
* 11 Achievements (some with 3 stars),
* 17 replayable HOPs and 3 replayable mini-games),
* Find 26 morphs and 26 collectibles (triangles),
* A jigsaw puzzle to do;
* A treasure hunt (finding a doll in each scene);
* Ultimate HOP (straightforward this time).
I loved the bonus game, which is quite lengthy. You play the bumbling Andrew Collins who you meet up with in the main game. He's really comical and will make you laugh. By the way, your computer is not playing up - he's manipulating it!
If your geography is good, then you will see that the island you crash land on is actually the North Island of New Zealand. I live at the bottom of it. How cool to have where you live in a game! Thanks Mad Head - you made my day.
Overall, I think most fishies will love this game. There are plenty of tasks to do, the scenery is gorgeous, has a great storyline and challenging HOPs and mini-games.
Definitely comes recommended. My preference is definitely the CE as you will get you money's worth here.
Happy playing fishies. Stay safe.

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
In all honesty, I liked the game. Yes, it is a simple game to play, but I liked the story line and the graphics. There is:
* Casual, Advanced, Hardcore and Custom modes;
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Journal;
* 15 Achievements;
* Find 1-2 bats in each scene (main game and bonus).
I found the graphics to be very good. The colours are rich and deep and each scene is well defined and easy to grab the items you need.
The hidden object games are mainly straightforward, silhouette and putting items back. These are very easy to do. There are not a lot of them to do.
The mini-games are also very easy. For the experienced player, you will have seen these all before. However, for a beginner or casual player, these mini-games will help you to gain experience.
There are 1-2 bats to find in each scene (throughout the game and bonus). Most of them I found instantly, so you will get the achievement for this. There are no morphs in this game.
There is a journal to keep you in the loop throughout the game.
Overall, I found the game appealing and quite cute and I think can be played with older family members.
Comes recommended for casual playing, especially if you have a hectic work and home life.
I recommend this game!
