- Good story line;
- No hidden objects in this game;
- Lots of puzzles to conquer - most are easy, some medium;
- No map, but you have a diary;
- Kiera has a camera so you can take pictures of any clue during the game to help solve the puzzles.
- Only one mode of play.
- Lots of reading to do.
- You have hint and skip buttons to help.
- Graphics and sound are good; no voice overs, except for the occasional few words from the witch to you when you solve certain puzzles - which are quite creepy.
- Game takes about 3-4 hours to play.
Overall a good game to play and definitely recommended.
I recommend this game!

This is the second game in the Jewel Quest series, which includes Quest and Tournament modes.
Overall, I found this game a bit monotonous as you are playing the same boards over and over again, with slight deviations [eg monkeys, gold coins, etc].
To actually move around the board feels clunky. Instead of just sliding around the board, you actually have to click twice to move anything - got on my nerves after a while.
Once you reach 99 specials and 20 lives, unfortunately that's where you stay, although your total points do go up. I found that out on Level 2.
I've finished this game now, however I don't think I will play it again. However, I have played the later Jewel Quest games numerous times.
This is a very easy game to play and therefore would be perfect for a new or intermediate player who wants to get the experience.
I have played all the other Jewel Quest games and know that they do get a lot better than this - in both story line and graphics.
I recommend this game!

- 3 modes of play [casual to hardcore]
- Graphics and sound are brillent, as usual.
- A fairly easy game to play;
- HOGs are clear and easy to see;
- Puzzles very easy and basic to play (my favourite was the flower puzzle).
All in all, a good game. Not the most challenging, but fun to play. I played this last weekend during an awful storm which hit most of the country quite hard. The lights were flickering and the wind was howling which made the ambience of the game more exciting.
Have fun playing.
I recommend this game!

Wow, what a game. You won't be disappointed.
3 modes of play (Casual, Advanced and Hardcore#. I played Hardcore throughout, with no help at all. Finally made it through to the end, which took about a week #at nights and with plenty of coffee#.
The story line is easy to follow. There is a lot of running around collecting items and undertaking tasks, but I personally love that. I keep a notebook beside me as I'm doing the puzzles and things so I can remember where certain puzzles and items are and in which rooms. Helps me when I have a lot of things to find and do.
The puzzles are a mixture of fairly easy to absolutely diabolical #one in particular, which took me ages, as it was a set of 4 puzzles in one#.
The graphics are beautiful and the music changes with the scenes - just stunning.
I honestly cannot fault anything about this game. I really loved and I'm sure you will too.
Very long game, so get comfortable.
Big Elephant have lived up to their name as usual #I'm bowing down to them as I speak).
Enjoy.
I recommend this game!

I've played this game around 3 times now, each time trying to beat my old score. I found the story line interesting and the characters likeable (and there is even LOVE for Percy at the end).
The graphics and music are fine.
When I've finished a big, grunty adventure and/or hidden object game and just want to chill out for a while before I start on the next one, then good old Jewel Quest games are great as they are not too challenging (except for the friggin monkeys! - watch them).
Anyway I think you would enjoy the game - I did.
I recommend this game!

About the game:
- Two modes of play - casual and expert.
- 35 morphing objects to find.
- Plenty of hidden objects to find - great if you like HOs.
- You have a diary to read.
- Story line is easy to follow and you have voiceovers.
- Music is non-intrusive - just quietly in the background.
- A long game, so you definitely get your money's worth.
- The extra chapter doesn't add anything - just someone extra to help.
- Graphics mostly fine - a bit grainy and cluttered is some areas.
- The skip button and Strategy Guide are good if you need it.
This game is perfect for a Sunday afternoon or a rainy day. Its easy to play and is perfect for an intermediate or new player. However, if you're an expert you may find this a bit non-challenging.
Happy playing.
I recommend this game!

Awesome game - you'll love it.
- Casual, Advanced or Hardcore modes;
- Live actors (would love to act in an HO game!);
- You need to find 50 doves;
- Some extremely hard puzzles to beat and some new puzzles I haven't seen before;
- Sometimes in HO games you need to use items in your inventory or to look in other places to find them - this makes a good challenge and to use your skills at being a Detective;
- Crystal clear graphics, and the music befits what is happening at the time;
- Achievements board and diary;
- Very long game and the bonus contents finishes it off nicely.
I spent a long time on this game [played Hardcore], so definitely worth your money. You won't be disappointed.
You have the Strategy Guide if you get really stuck, and even I had to resort to it a couple of times with two puzzles which really got me stumped [after 2 nights on the same puzzle which slowly drove me insane].
Go buy this game. I'm glad I did.
I recommend this game!

Yes, another all nighter I had. I played on 'Detective' and loved every minute of it. This game is a lot of fun and the HOGs and puzzles challenging, so get comfortable. I loved that I had to run all around everywhere and to remember where things were. Good for the brain (and a notebook!). Visual and sound were brillent. What I thought was great was that it was quite a long game which we could really get our teeth into. Can't wait for another one to come. Well done.
I recommend this game!

I just loved loved loved this game.
There are four levels of play (casual to hardcore). I played hardcore and had no problem eventually finding my way to the end. However, be warned this is not an easy game. Even for an expert like myself, I had to look at the Strategy Guide twice to get passed a couple of puzzles which I would never normally do and felt a bit of failure for doing that (cause I am supposed to be a Detective), but had ripped out too much of my hair by that stage.
There are a variety of puzzles to play - some easy and some very hard. I will never look at the number 45 in the same light again. It will take a while to nut out some of these puzzles - so get comfortable.
The game itself is quite long, however the bonus is very short (about 30 minutes).
On the whole a very enjoyable game and definitely recommend you buy it - I'm glad I did.
I recommend this game!

Well done. Excellent long game.
The hidden objects were clear and easy to find which didn't detract you from concentrating on other aspects of the game.
It had a great story to it and even though you have satisfactorily finished this chapter of the story, it has been left open for the next chapter to begin - hopefully soon.
There are four levels you can play (from casual [easy] to Detective [hardcore] - with no sparkles, hints or anything). I played 'Detective' throughout the game and had no problems finding my way to the end - although it did take longer because clues were harder to find - which was just what I wanted. I just love games like this where you have to find the clues yourself.
The graphics are crystal clear and you have real people playing the roles - personally I would love to do that for a job!
Make sure you visit Elf to keep him fed and with toys. So cute.
Be prepared for a long night - so start on a Friday. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. Go on - go buy the game. I'm happy I did.
I recommend this game!
