Yes, it's another 'save the town from the wicked witch' story. Eipix is really running their story lines into the ground. They have become mundane and boring.
The graphics are nice enough if you like them hand drawn. I'm not sure what has happened with Eipix's gorgeous graphics but these are not them.
Everything else in the game is what you would expect: easy interactive hidden object scenes, a mix of interesting puzzles and somewhat logical game play.
I guess it's just me, as I'm sure others will give their usual high ratings. But, I'm simply tired of the fantasy save-the-world hunt down-the-supernatural being games that have been pumped out in cookie-cutter fashion. Maybe developers will start going back to more realistic and plausible adventure games. I can only keep my fingers crossed.

I too was hoping there would have been some improvements made on this sequel to 2 Tasty, but I was sadly disappointed. I'm also shocked at all the high ratings some people gave this second installment.
For some reason, the mouse click factor is 'sticky'. Some actions take one click to complete and some take two. Sometimes it takes several clicks to accomplish a task, making it impossible to know what to expect.
Many ingredients are either poorly drawn or too small for you to realize what you're looking at. Therefore, you waste precious time as you frantically search for the items you need.
Extra cooking tools take too long to purchase because you get very little money for the food you sell. So, you've got to play a lot of levels before you're even offered an upgrade to buy.
Customers get angry really quick while they're waiting for their orders. So I got frustrated because I knew I couldn't make everyone happy and would end up losing money on the sale.
And as so many have mentioned, the English grammar and sentence structure is poorly translated. The story line is geared more for a young school girl than for an adult. But I don't think this game would be good for kids because of the poor game mechanics.
Recommend you try this one yourself to see just how bad it is -- you might find it amusing.

Where are some of these games coming from? This one is either very old or it's one of those tablet/android games trying to make it to the pc platform.
Whether windowed or full screen, the graphics quality is horrible. Everything is all stretched out and distorted which makes game play distracting. And there's no way to customize it.
Music and sounds cannot be adjusted, it's either on or off. Also, there's no way to skip the tutorial so you have to suffer through it as you play each level.
There are no upgrades and no achievements to strive for. All in all, this game might be okay for kids. But as an adult, looking at the distorted graphics isn't worth it.
CURSED is yet another example of an iphone or android game trying to make it to the pc platform world. Unfortunately, it just doesn't work.
Graphics are flat with people looking like they've been pasted into the scenes. Maneuvering through the game is painful and a bit opposite from the usual game controls.
You'll find yourself relying continuously on the map because backtracking is constant; it seems like you'll never move forward. Puzzles are easy but touchy -- precise clicking is a must which could be frustrating for some. There were several areas where the game froze and I could not progress.
Try this for free on your tablet or phone before you pay for it here.

I think it's time the creators of the Delicious series came up with a new game plan. I actually own ALL the previous Emily games and while I've been disappointed with a few of them, I always looked forward to playing them. That's not the case with Emily's Christmas Carol. In fact, this is the first in the series that I quit playing halfway through.
First and foremost, the story lines are becoming strained. The hilarity of Emily and her friend Francois as they met with new adventures was quite entertaining and used to make me laugh out loud. And then Emily met Patrick and they had a crazy wedding followed by a wacky honeymoon. Such good fun! After that, Francois has been all but forgotten except for a few scenes here and there, and he's been replaced with little Paige, who is just plain whiny and spoiled.
Another aspect of the game that I found annoying was the number of levels at each location. It was dragged out having to play an additional mini-game in between each normal level. And this was the other reason why I didn't finish the game -- I simply lost interest.
Since the developers can't go back and capture the magic and humor of Emily and Francois, maybe it's time to pack it in and come up with a new series. Change is good, even if it makes us a bit sad. As for me, this was my last Delicious purchase but I'll continue to play the fun and clever old titles in the series.
To be fair, this might have been a fun game. But when you start out having no option to add additional players, that's a deal-breaker for me. Added to that, there's no way to adjust music, sound effects or the custom cursor. When a game is missing these simple basic features right off the bat, I'm not very forgiving.
It's apparent this game was originally designed to be an Android game for one player.
I absolutely LOVE what Rainbow Mosaics' developers have to offer with this second edition of Christmas Lights.
Just in time for Christmas, you'll find pretty graphics, pleasant music, and an actual story about people, not 'penguins'. The color palette for grid solving is excellent and I love that you can buy decorations, upgrade the hint options and win achievement awards.
So, ditch the silly, simplistic, monotonous 'penguin' game and give Rainbow Mosaics a try. It will definitely put you in the holiday mood as you sip your spiced cider and solve puzzles.
Wow, this sixth edition of Christmas Wonderland is pretty much the same as the first five. Except this one is even shorter. I normally enjoy hidden objects and puzzles, but all of the scenes are extremely cluttered, busy and use shocking bright colors. Adding on the horrible music, I found this game highly annoying and headache-inducing.
I'm going to let the usual reviewers give their extreme details for Bloody Rosie. I just want to say that this is one of the worst, inane games I've played in a long time.
I could barely tolerate the 35 minutes I spent playing this mess, so my review will be short and to the point:
* Not CE worthy by any means. Very few achievements and collectibles and yes, you can replay HO scenes and mini games but no one will want to.
* The hand drawn graphics really detract from the theme of game and using them was a big mistake.
* The storyline starts out like it might be interesting but then it gets wacky. Characters' accents and the voice acting are a disaster.
* Too many little helpers, easy-to-find collectibles and boring HO scenes and puzzles only add to the tedium.
Maybe the SE will play out better, but I doubt it. Please don't waste your money on this dud of a collector's edition.
This is a great game for hidden object finders of all ages. Play timed or untimed. Try to beat a previous score, or play at your own pace.
It was refreshing to play a game with no story, no puzzles and no little helper. The only reason I didn't give this game five stars was because there were so many dark scenes to search through. In most games, once you adjust the brightness you're good to go for the entire game. But with this game, I was constantly changing my monitor brightness every couple of scenes.
This can be a challenging game if you're competitive and want to race against the clock, but it can be a relaxing game if you just want to chill and play without a timer. And by the way, I agree about the music -- it was a pleasure to listen to -- I didn't have to turn it off.
