Apparently, these Clutter games appeal to a lot of people. Let me say, I like that there are all sorts of options to turn on and off certain game features. To me, being able to choose the ones I like and turn off the one's I don't like is a big plus.
And I love hidden object games on the whole but there's something about these clutter games I just don't like. Maybe it's the flat graphics -- it might help if items looked more 3D and natural instead of looking like they were pictures cut out of a magazine.
But I think it's simply all the cluttery mess with a mish-mash of objects. It's just too aggravating for me to look for a pair of realistic screw bolts and then have to look for a pair of decals. Maybe if the scenes were grouped by subject matter I might enjoy it more. But, it's called CLUTTER for a reason I guess.
So, if you like finding pairs of items amidst heaps of junk, then this is definitely your game. I recommend you try it before you buy it.
You know a game is bad when I tell you I wouldn't waste a free game coupon on it. Even if it were free play here on Big Fish I wouldn't bother with it.
The game interface is clunky, everything moves as if in slow motion. Graphics are beyond bad, almost like a child painted it with water colors. And the sound can be likened to the old arcade games from the 80s.
This game's description mentions it's recommended for children as well -- but no kid I know would stay interested in this boring clunker for very long.
To me, Bubble Shooter Adventure is more of a free Android game. I can't see anyone actually paying to play this.
All of this developer's games, and I do mean ALL of their 'adventure' games, have amazingly intriguing titles. So much so that you can't wait to get the game installed and start playing it. I give five stars to their creative marketing department.
But that's where the creativity ends. As with all their games, Medford Asylum starts out with a cool opening cutscene that appears to set the tone of the game. Notice the word 'appears' -- because after that swell cutscene, it's all downhill from there.
First, there are no voice overs because they couldn't put voices to all the silly dialogue that takes place between characters. I don't mind reading clue-giving conversations, but there's just too much extra chitchat between characters that doesn't matter. Making this worse is the fact that you can't skip it.
That alone was enough to make me stop playing, but when you add the clunky game interface, the dull flat 2D graphics and the teeny tiny objects in the HO scenes to the mix, I just couldn't continue on. Yes, there IS a zoom feature so you can hone in to tiny objects, but for me it wasn't worth the added step.
Anytime you see the name of this developer at the beginning of an adventure HO game, steer clear of it and move on.
Dark, dreary little game that was seriously lacking in the story telling department. And I kept having the feeling that I had played the game before somewhere else a long time ago. I'll let the other reviewers give you all the details but I just couldn't stay interested in this 'mature psychological thriller'. I won't be paying the CE bucks for this one, however I may give the standard edition a try when it's released.
What is going on with these Collector's Editions? Here is yet another example of a Collector's Edition not being worthy of being called a CE and certainly not worth the higher price tag.
I had to laugh at the graphics. While the locations or backgrounds were adequate, the characters looked like they were cut out and pasted into the scenes. That ruined the whole feel of the game for me.
Puzzles and hidden object scenes were the usual fare and nothing too difficult. The 'hidden' wine glass collectibles were really large and I actually found them without wearing my glasses.
This could have been a terrifying psyco thriller if it weren't for the cheesiness surrounding it. It's another case of a developer not going the extra mile to make an outstanding game, and simply settling for mediocrity.
I might The Doppelganger when it's released as a standard edition, but am definitely not recommending it as a CE.
When you see characters like 'Doctor Evil' and 'Burglar John' you're perfectly correct in assuming this is a kid's game. And it's an old game at that.
This is Match 3 in it's simplest form, and it probably won't keep a child interested in it for very long. Graphics are flat and cartoonish. Gameplay is painfully simple. The music will lull you to sleep.
You don't even swap jewels on this one, you simply click on groups of three or more and they disappear. It's rather mindless and not fun or challenging at all. Even the old school classic Bejeweled would be a better choice.

When the very first line of the story states "Grandma was on the make" how could this not be a fun game? Seriously, I love everything about the Rainbow Mosaics series even if the English translation is off.
I love that I can change the tiles to different textures, which is something none of the other griddler games have.
I appreciate the two modes of game play ~ normal and expert. If you play the normal mode, the tiles you don't use are automatically crossed off for you, which some of these nonogram games don't do for you.
I especially like that there are several colors involved in the solving process and that using the powerups do not count against you when it comes to scoring.
Buying items to improve your grandma's garden also adds to the enjoyment of the game and it's a fun little break from the constant grid solving.
Although the background graphics are hand drawn and cartoon-style, they do not take anything away from the game. Also, the music is better than most and not aggravating.
All in all, if you love math and logic, I highly recommend the Rainbow Mosaics series ~ it gives you the most bang for your buck, as they say.

Honestly, I think this COULD have been a very clever game had it been designed differently and with a bit more expense. I see a couple of others liked it, but I just didn't have the patience to figure it out what in the world I was supposed to do.
First, the graphics are terribly hand-drawn and cartoony. That automatically is a big put-off for me. Next, there were no instructions and no goals -- only a bunch of poorly drawn icons that were slightly animated.
Maybe this type of game is popular in Russia, where it was designed, but any "game" that gets me frustrated right from the beginning is not worth my time or the aggravation.
Kudos to those who felt Doodle God deserved such a high star rating. But I play games to be entertained and this was one game that didn't qualify.

This CE of Shadowplay came as a BOGO so I am extremely happy I did not waste the money on it.
First, I'll let certain other reviewers give you the spoilers which can possibly ruin the game for you. It's not right that they're allowed to keep doing that, but I guess BFG themselves has favorite reviewers.
Anyway, the premise of the game sounds amazing and scarey, but after I started playing, that familiar feeling of being duped again took hold.
The visuals and sound were satisfactory except when the Shadows came along. They were animated and oh so cartoon-like compared to the rest of the graphics. They just didn't fit and were a poor choice.
Finding the black Egyptian eyes in each scene was sometimes difficult because they were many times placed in darkened areas. Game play was simple, there was a lot of hand-holding. The interactive HO scenes were all of the same list type and got monotonous.
I know I may be in the minority, but for me, a good storyline is what urges me on to play a game. In this case, the story wasn't well written and it just didn't hold my attention. I ended up not finishing the bonus chapter because by then, I simply had better things to do. I don't understand the glowing five star reviews but maybe some people don't play this type of game very often and found this one to be especially engaging for some reason.
In any event, my recommendation is to hold off and wait for the SE release. It's not a terrible game, it's just not worth the higher price tag nor the five star reviews.

Another one? Seriously? Fantasy Mosaics 16 was released just two weeks ago and already we have yet another cookie cutter version of the same exact game.
Once again, there's nothing new here. Same slow graphics, same childish story and animation, same game structure and mechanics, same strange English translation and the same unrealistic colors in the grid solutions. I mean, why do they put bright pink faces on people and make animals blue and green? There are also no new powerups or incentives. Enough is enough already.
But as long as people keep paying for these sub-standard games, the developer will keep pumping them out. Don't waste your money on this new release if you already own any of the previous Fantasy Mosaics.
