I played Maggie's Movies to the end a couple of weeks ago on another site. If you enjoy the Delicious: Emily series games, you will like this one as well.
There's a mouse to find in each scene and when you find him, he pops up in the scoring section so you don't have to keep looking for him. This way, you won't forget to look for the mouse as you play each level. Finding all the mice gets you an achievement award. And once again, as with all these type of games there are three modes of play: Easy, Normal and Expert
I liked that each level is not overly long and it plays quickly. You can move along faster in the game and in the story. Honestly, this plays exactly like an Emily game except the characters are different, so I won't go into any further detail about that.
The story line is cute -- about Maggie and her Grandpa and how she starts out helping on a movie set. The only big issue I had with this game is while you are playing each level the actors in the background are speaking their parts. So as I was trying to complete my tasks, my eyes kept moving toward the actors' dialog box so I could read what they were rehearsing. To me, it was an unnecessary distraction but after a while I got used to ignoring it.
All in all, a fun TRUE time management game that's worth playing.
Lifeline is a playable, branching story of survival against all odds! Help Taylor make life or death decisions, and face the consequences together. Or see what happens when you make a different choice.
First, this is not a PC game, it's for phones or tablets. It really should be a free to play game -- it's not worth paying for it.
Secondly, there's no way to add a profile, so you really know this is not a game meant for PCs. Anyway, a screen pops up with text coming in from someone, and man, it moves way to fast to read! I had to scroll back so I could actually read all the script and answer the guy's questions. There are no voice overs, just text.
Finally, after approximately two minutes into the game, the stranded astronaut tells me it's going to take him an hour to get to the crash site and I actually have to a wait an hour for him to get there before I can continue playing. Seriously??
I don't recommend this game.

Pretty In Pink
Pretty in Pink is known as a movie that defined a generation, and now you have the chance to relive this memorable love story!
For me, mixing hand drawn cartoon people with realistic scenes and objects is a big no-no.
While the movie was cute for it's generation, this game almost looks like it was made back in the same era. It's mostly all hidden object scenes, one right after the other, with easy puzzles thrown in.
I love nostalgia but it's now 2017 and even back in 2013, this game was cheaply and poorly made.

I have the other Gizmo games so I was really looking forward to this one. This game has a lot of great points:
* You can play timed or un-timed * You can acquire achievements * There's a cute, humorous story line thrown in * Jigsaw puzzles add a welcome distraction * Option to turn off character's comments while you play * Option to have unused blocks automatically filled in for you * There's an option to solve in monochrome or in varied pre-determined colors
There's just one big drawback. I couldn't figure out why the grids were NOT centered in the middle of the screen. They were jammed into the right hand corner giving me the illusion that the grid was cut-off. Then as I played a bit longer, I found the grids got even larger so there was a lot more counting and a larger grid to complete. This also meant because the grids got larger -- the blocks got smaller. Too small for me.
Not everyone wants to sit for a half hour completing only one grid. At least I don't. It got just too tedious for me, especially trying to count all the little blocks.
In my opinion there should be another option for players -- an option to choose grid sizes.

I really don't understand all the low ratings on this one. I'll admit I'm one of those players who loves this type of time management game and also one who strives to get three stars on all levels.
But there were many levels I couldn't achieve the three stars and I gave up trying to figure out why. But quit frankly, I didn't care. It's really just a fun game.
Yes, Stella moves slow at first but you can upgrade her. Yes, it takes a long time to purchase some upgrades but that's what makes this game a bit more challenging. And here's a tip for you -- there's no way you'll ever purchase all the upgrades so don't worry about it.
The music is fun and there's a cute story line that actually makes sense. I've played this game twice now, all the way to the end, and I did much better the second time around by choosing different upgrades.
Give Style Quest a shot, and don't take it so seriously -- it's just a game :o)

Even with the bare-bones graphics, I really liked this simple little game. And as you can see from the screenshots, it's not a true Match 3, it's a bubble popper game.
The story line is very basic and with minimal dialogue, so there's not a lot of reading
You can play in three different modes. I played in Relaxed'
It has non-invasive cheery music.
There's a "Voice" option if you want to hear someone cheering you on as make fantastic moves
There's an option to use your own system's cursor, so there really is no cursor problem as someone mentioned
As you win gold, you buy items to build your village.
Diamonds earned are used to buy additional power-ups
Playing with Windows 10, I had no issues at all with this game, and bought it after playing for 25 minutes. I really enjoyed sitting back with a cup of tea and playing in 'Relaxed' mode. But when I feel a bit more adventurous, I'll be trying my hand at the 'Timed' and 'Challenge' modes as well.
Since solitaire, by nature, is a repetitive game, it would be nice if developers weren't so lazy and came up with something different to keep us interested.
Graphics are flat, hand drawn and cartoon-like. Both the backgrounds and the card backs are just plain dull. I don't understand why the playing boards for solitaire can't be made to look more realistic and inviting.
There are only a couple of power-ups and they are the same boring ones. There are really no achievements and nothing to entice the player to get a perfect score.
There's no story-line -- the game simply has a Valentine theme, which is not the same thing.
This might be a good game for those new to playing Solitaire, but kids and seasoned players will be bored.
I own the first game from the Dead Reckoning series and remember I enjoyed it quite a bit. So after passing up on the next several releases, I decided to purchase Silvermoon Isle.
I have to admit the story grabbed me from the start and throughout the one hour trial. But then the game simply became too much of a chore to complete.
Graphics are excellent of course, as are the minigames. But I found the hidden object scenes too boring so I chose the option to play the bubble shooter game instead. Problem was, I found it clunky and even when carefully aiming, the wrong bubbles were popped. So I went back to the boring hidden object scenes.
The story-line seemed well written for the first hour or so but then it proceeded slowly, and boringly from that point on, and I found my mind wandering elsewhere. I finally called it 'quits' when the elevator took me to the tunnels and the scenery was one boarded door after another at the end of endless tunnels. It was a shame to quit the game after playing it for so many hours but I just couldn't stay awake anymore and I just didn't care who killed who and for what reason.
I think most people who played this for the first hour were happy with it just as I was, so they left glowing reviews. It's a shame we can't all go back and add follow-up comments to our reviews. I think you'd find most people became disillusioned with Silvermoon Isle the longer they played it.
* I especially liked that the story line was geared a bit more for adults -- it didn't involve a princess, magic potions or talking animals.
* Hidden object scenes were interactive. Puzzles were fairly easy and ones we've seen before, but I was okay with that.
* The atmosphere was spooky and the audio fit the mood.
* The story line was attention grabbing -- it's not every day you see a person shoot themselves in the head. Because of this scene and other suicides, I wouldn't recommend this game for children.
CONS:
* The hand drawn graphics and over-saturation of colors didn't fit. Realistic looking people and locations would have been a better match for the subject matter of the game.
* Dressing my pet was an unnecessary part of the game and it's a shame that was thrown into the mix.
* As usual, this isn't collector's edition worthy even with the bonus chapter. There's nothing exciting in the way of achievements or morphing objects. And come on, who cares about wallpaper and sketch art anymore?
So, while it's not worth the extra money for the CE version, I just may buy the standard edition so I can see how the story pans out.
First and foremost, I loved that this match three game had an actual story line with voice overs -- that's something you don't see too often. And I liked the sound and visual effects as my lightning and bomb power-ups blasted stuff off the grid. The music was decent, sort of Celtic style, which was pleasant to listen to. And I was happy I could play in relaxed mode which was a big plus for me. So okay, why the low rating?
Well, the tiles and grids were simply too small. And the colors used for the different shaped jewels or icons were too similar in shading, making it difficult to match the correct items. And as others mentioned here, the gold tiles were difficult to spot. They didn't glow or stand out and most of the time they blended into the background.
With all the good things going for it, it's a shame The Voice from Heaven caused too much eyestrain. It would be great to see this game re-worked and then re-released because I would definitely buy it.
