Really Big Fish, I'm not going to pay for a silly game that I can play for free on my tablet or phone. This is yet another one-player game with no options to customize the game. What's happening to all the educated, creative and artistic game developers?
The graphics look like a child drew them. The audio is digital and annoying. Game play is mindless and simply not fun. Please see other reviews for the nitty gritty details of K3Y because I'm done here.

Even the name of the game is misleading. Once again we are being asked to pay top dollar for a poorly developed game that was designed to be played for free on devices other than desktops or laptops.
There's no way to create another profile, no way to customize anything at all. It's a simple, mindless game that looks like it was created as a middle school computer project. Not sure why BFG is pushing these types of games. At best, this one should be free to play.
I'll let you refer to the first two reviewers if you want to know every detail and some fun-killing facts about this game. I'll just give you my take on playing the trial period of this collector's edition.
While the subject matter is something new, at least to me, I found the execution mediocre. Graphics are blurred, hidden object scenes dull & straightforward, puzzles were basic with a couple of them having vague directions, and collectibles were few as were the morphing objects. And seriously, does anyone use a game's wallpaper anymore?
Normally, I wait for the standard editions to come out before I hand over my money. But from what I experienced while playing this CE version, I will not be buying the standard edition either.
I recommend trying the game for an hour before buying it.

Since I can't afford to buy collector's editions, I did not read any of this game's previous reviews, although I did notice the high rating it was given. So, I played this standard version on another site and found Dark City London to be simply average.
Graphics and sound were fine. Hidden object scenes were standard, and jumping into a carriage to take you to your next location was a nice touch. However, the story line was predictable; it didn't take me long to figure out the entire plot and what the headless person was all about.
It's not a bad game by any means, but there was nothing about it that made me want to finish it, and it's actually fairly short. To me, there are very few games that deserve a perfect five star rating, so I give this one a 3.5

The main reason I enjoyed this game is that you don't get penalized for using hints, like you do in those silly penguin mosaic games. I never could understand why they give you hints to use but deduct stars for using them. That still makes no sense to me.
Anyway, the mechanics of this game are a little tricky at first, but once you understand how they work, the game is fun. Grids are a nice mix of easy and hard. You'll have a few large, difficult boards and then an easy one will be thrown in. I liked that feature.
There really are no story lines in these types of games so enough said about that. Zodiac Griddlers IS based on logic. But as far as 'guessing', I never 'guessed' at anything. I simply used a hint for help, because this game allows you to do so. It PREVENTS you from guessing and making a mistake, because making errors will go against your score.
All in all, after you get used to how the game works, you'll enjoy this one.
I have actually tried all of the previous games in this series, but I have never finished any of them. To me, each scene is a bright, gaudy mess with loads of junk cluttering the room.
The soundtrack is sort of quasi-Christmas themed and is bearable to listen to while playing. And the puzzles are easy and a nice break from the eye strain of the hidden object scenes.
Honestly, all of these Christmas Wonderland games would be really great if they toned down the colors and got rid of some of the junk that's crammed into each scene.

This might be a great game for those who like to sit for hours playing 'find the pairs'. But if you've played any of the clutter games before, you'll find Dream Walker has very little new to offer.
It would be great if the objects you had to match were fun to look at, easy on the eyes, and not the same objects over and over throughout the entire game. But they're not.
The game is cute at first but quickly becomes monotonous and eye straining. It's certainly not worthy of a four or fiive star rating.
I don't recommend this game.

This is another cute game by the people who created the Delicious Emily series. In fact, Emily and her sister Angela are characters in this game as well.
There's a lot of dialogue reading in The Love Boat because there are three story lines, just like there were in the old television show. If you have every seen that old show, you'll really be able to appreciate the work that went into creating this game. All of the characters really look like the original actors who played the roles.
Another fun aspect is that the original Love Boat theme plays throughout the game. In fact, the game starts out just like the TV show, with Jack Jones singing.
Two things I didn't care for: 1. There are extra levels to play which I ended up skipping because there were just too many of them. The only reason to play them is to purchase new costumes for the the little mouse that you have to find in each level. I didn't see the point but I know most people will like this feature, so go for it! 2. The horribly done laugh track. Someone gave the game a low rating because of this. Not cool, because you can totally turn off the laugh track either before or after you've started playing. That's what I did, because it truly was annoying to hear people laughing when nothing really funny was being said.
All in all, this a cute, nostalgic blast from the past and I highly recommend you try it!

The thinking outside the box that went into this game is amazing. However, the execution is poor, so my rating is based on my total game play experience.
First, there are not only different colors to use, but there are textured, photographic images. Sounds fun, but many of the textures and colors look the same -- leading to solving errors that are not really your fault.
I liked that the game is designed to automatically cross off the squares you don't use. But it doesn't do it all the time. In fact, it doesn't cross them off most of the time, which again causes you to make errors that are not your fault.
The graphics are nice, the added factoids are okay and the music is bearable. If the game play weren't so glitchy, this would be a five star game.

I played this game a couple of weeks ago when it premiered on another game venue, and totally enjoyed it except for the music.
GOOD STUFF:
* Various palettes of colors to choose from while solving * You don't get penalized for using the hint when it finally charges up, but it does take quite a while for it to fill up * The game is 99% logic driven * The little wise-cracking elf is adorable * There is somewhat of a story line and you get to purchase materials so the elf can add buildings to the North Pole landscape * All the grid solutions were pictures of toys which you were helping the elves make
THE ONLY BAD THING:
It was great having Christmas-type music to listen to while playing a Christmas themed game. However, the music was on a short loop and the same two songs played over and over. To make it worse, there was a loud screeching trumpet blast that lasted just long enough to grate on my nerves. So, I ended up turning off the sound and had my MP3 Christmas tunes playing instead.
It's a fun game if you love griddler mosaics and I highly recommend it!
