When I did the demo of this game, I thought it was better than the first one in the series, and would be a nice creepy game for the "season." Now, I'm not sure I will even finish it. I've pretty much given up on finding the morphing objects, and have had to hit "hint" more often than I can remember, for the HOs. Everything is dark, dingy, dirty, and extremely difficult to see, and other than the disturbing story line, just not that creepy. I do not recommend this game at all.
I don't recommend this game.

But, I never will. Had looked forward to this being released after playing a beta. It was a different story line and looked like a lot of fun. Alas, the controls were so off that i had to skip three of the puzzles. Then, whilst playing at the Summer Camp, I came across a slider HO. Could not finish that at all. No way would the controls let me match up more than three objects. I had to put the game in the trash. Waste of money, and very frustrating, because otherwise, I was enjoying the game. Too bad there was no alternate (like Match 3, etc.) for that scene, because now...I will never know how it ended.
I don't recommend this game.

I love this series and I love Rick Rogers - and we share the same taste in slippers. This is a short game, but very enjoyable. I liked the story line and trying to figure out who was real and who was not. I was happy with the HOs, and the puzzles. Goals were clear, and there was no difficulty playing. I'm hoping this series will continue for a bit, but I'd like the game to be a little bit longer. I'm sure I will play this again; in fact, I'm thinking about replaying the whole series.
I recommend this game!

Only halfway through the main game, but I'm loving every bit of it. The art is fascinating. Other worldly, and at the same time, completely recognizable. Character voices are done well. Puzzles are a bit simple, but that's OK with me, and I like the different HOs. I am playing mainly for the story, anyway. I want to know what happens to Alice - and Uncle Colin - and Farador, etc.. Do they ever beat the Darkness? And how did Medusa pop up in this land? I like everything about this game series, and am happy to be able to play this latest part.

I am writing this in the middle of the game, because I am very much enjoying the game play. After playing a beta, I wrote in my game notes, "Buy this!" I'm not sorry I did. I believe it will be a little short, but if I enjoy the game, that's OK. The one criticism I have is not enough music. It was the music that had me hooked on the first Cadenza game and what has had me coming back for the rest.
Puzzles are not difficult, but not absurdly easy, either. I like finding the morphs in the HOs. I look forward to the rest of the game, and I do recommend it.
I recommend this game!

I have enjoyed each of these games very much. Although I am fond of the ghosties and ghoulies and hooded creatures with glowing eyes, it's nice to have a straight story and a murder mystery. The things I did not like about the previous game (an almost impossible target to shoot, for example) have been corrected. I like switching characters, and I think the graphics, music, and game play are all just fine. The only problem was Kevin - who should have been at least 36 at this time, but looked and spoke like he was about 17.
The bonus game was fun, but I won't spoil the ending. I'm happy with this - will play it again - and recommend it.
I recommend this game!

I thought this was supposed to be an old style HO. That's fine, I like those. But this started out with a lot of completely unnecessary hand holding, without any way to opt out - combined with a lack of instruction as to what the object and goal of the game was. I so do not recommend this game.
I don't recommend this game.

I used to complain about too much purple and pink, but this one has too much yellow and orange, making it hard on the eyes. The story line is a tired one about one person being jealous of another and therefore endangering the whole city/continent/world/universe. The gimmick must be used over and over, and breaks with each use. Amber is a nice touch, rather than crystal or stone, but otherwise, it's just same old same old with a tiresome gimmick.
I don't recommend this game.

I didn't think the game was all that great to begin with - same old same old - and not even a good cemetery. However, when the SE came out, I thought it would be an OK game to fill time. Unfortunately, it has those "puzzles" where you have to hold down the mouse button to follow a line. My arthritic fingers object to that. It isn't usually a problem, but there is No_Skip for this "puzzle," so I couldn't even rescue the very first soul. I'm glad I only used an coupon on this game.
I don't recommend this game.

I do like simple match three games with a story and building things. They are fun, and don't require a great deal of concentration; a good way to relax. This one was all of those with bouncy music, until level 10, when Fatal Error occurred. Happy to have used a coupon. Do not recommend.
