The graphics are good, looks like a fun story line. Puzzles work well, and the music is fairly inobtrusive, which is what I like. But, I'm just not sure I want another game with those blankety blank stars. I will really have to think about this, Haven't purchased a DO game in some time because of those stars, but this one is very tempting. Maybe with a good sale.

I had given up ever seeing another Halloween game from Springfield. I was so happy. It was an immediate purchase (after trying to be sure everything worked). It's like going home again. Familiar faces and places, and some new things. You can make it as challenging as you wish, although I go for simple with this, because I play these games just to relax. I love the new puzzles, and everything about it. I'm about halfway through, and already thinking about Christmas.
If there was a way to turn off the STARS!!! that pop up after every scene or interaction, I'd buy the game. But apparently this "feature" is going to be in every game now, so no thank you.
Once upon a time, a Rick Rogers game would have been an automatic buy. But then, there was the last game, which I did not buy because it had a crossover with a series I don't like at all. Now Rick is back...I guess. Doesn't seem like the same Rick to me. I know he would have changed some after years in captivity, but if he changed that much, why bother continuing with his agency? I've played for 40 minutes, and see nothing of the old Rick Rogers, and I'm not particularly impressed with the story line - and all that purple. I'm still trying to make up my mind about this game. I want my old Rick back, the one with a sense of humor, no matter what the odds. I think it's time to play the first one over again, and then decide on this.
I've been waiting for this day to come, and am very happy with the game, as usual. It's like catching up with old friends. Some new things in here, just to keep the game interesting. Bright graphics, unobtrusive music, things hidden, but not impossibly small, and the extra puzzles in the CE, all make for a wonderful day. Also, I'm again replaying MCF Black Veil which is dark and depressing (although a great game), so having this to break from the dark, makes game playing even better! Hurrah!
This is not my favorite developer, but I was tempted by a sale, and purchased this game, because playing it for about 15 minutes, seemed OK. However, after purchasing, I discovered items in the HO scenes that were too small and/or too dark to see, unclear goals, no intuitive game play, and several puzzles that simply did not work. I gave up game play in the third part, because the hook/key/lock puzzle would not work at all, and I was unable to skip. This was a great disappointment. Although it certainly wasn't the best game, I would have liked to have been able to finish it. I will remember this experience, and avoid this developer in the future.
I only played part of this game in the Survey format. I was so looking forward to having Rick Rogers home at last! That character drew me in the first time I played the original game in the series, and I've loved him ever since. I was disappointed not to have a resolution in the last couple of games, but held out hope. Now, I don't know if he's back or not, since Elephant decided to do a crossover with Grim Tales. I loved the first few Grim Tales until they changed the canon of the games into something else. I stopped playing them. And here, dropped into a beloved game series, is the character from one I disliked intensely. I didn't finish the survey game, and I won't buy this. I will be interested to see what others have to say, but my reaction was bitter disappointment. Um...I may be too invested in a game character. LOL

This was a very nice surprise to find today. Yes, it is the same old game, finding animals with the same kinds of puzzles. And I love it. I find them soothing and relaxing, but also challenging because I do have difficulty finding the morphing objects and I want them all to make butterfly pictures! Little bit of a lag between scenes, and I wish there was a Find The Difference in every location, but I really have no complaints. Keep hiding those critters, and I'll keep finding them.
I tried. I really tried. But no option for skipping sparkles is very annoying. The play was clunky. And, the same thing I have complained about for at least a year, is still present: the same old Match 3 options. Is it really that difficult to change the objects in a Match 3? There's nothing that draws me into this game, even for a BOGO. I will leave without solving the riddle.
Happy to see another I Love Finding. Yes, they are repetitive, yes, many scenes are repeated. I don't care. I find these games relaxing and fun. I like finding the cats/dogs/critters, and I like the challenge of finding ALL the butterflies, so I can make my butterfly album. The music is inobtrusive, the colors are cheerful, and I will be making yet another I Love Finding purchase. Criticisms would be: No option to skip tutorial, and I would really like to know the names of the butterflies. I recommend this game for a relaxing, colorful, escape.
