I loved the first one, and this one is even better! I love the graphics, the soundtrack is not annoying, and it's a challenge for me, anyway, to find the morphs. I'm so happy to have this game today. It's my new favorite.
I've played this game too many times before to enjoy playing it again. Yes, I know it's a new game, but it's an old and tired plot with the SOSO things to do. On top of that, I had to turn off the music because it was beyond irritating. I don't want another "bestiary." I do not recommend this game.
I really enjoy these games, and was happy when a new one came out. I like the characters, the story line, the graphics, the sound - everything. It's not complicated, or particularly challenging, but it's fun. I have enjoyed every one in this series - they are the same, and yet different enough in story line and the running gimmick, to not be boring. Looking forward to another one in the future.
From the demo, I thought this would be a challenging and interesting game, and perhaps something a little different. In fact, I had played the beta and didn't finish it because I didn't want to spoil the surprises that might come. However, after the first story, the end of which was strangely abrupt, it was all downhill. The storyline lost cohesiveness, and I felt as if there were huge gaps in the game where something should have happened, but instead, ZAP. I was somewhere else, or out of the comic book entirely. One positive was a diverse character population; nice for a change.
I was equally unimpressed with the bonus game. Everything worked. Graphics were fine. Sound was good. But it wasn't even half of what I had been expecting.

I enjoyed the main game. I have others in the series, and they are not flashy or terribly complicated, just enjoyable to play, and so was this...and then came the bonus. I wasn't sure at first who I was supposed to be, and I certainly had no idea what was going on. The story line was practically non-existent. The ending was most unsatisfying, as were the characters therein. I'd recommend waiting for the standard addition, since the extras in the Collectors were really not all that extra.
I thought this looked like a fun game, but after attempting to play it for a few minutes, I simply could not stand the mistranslation and the nonsensical sentences. Too bad. It was certainly bright and colorful, but no. Just no.
With the BOGO sale this weekend, I decided to give this game another try, although I had rejected it when it first came out. I had forgotten why, though. When I came to the first real puzzle (the light beams with flowers), I remembered. It didn't work the first time I tried the game, and even after carefully reading the guide to make sure I was doing what I was supposed to, it still didn't work. If something doesn't work that early in the game, I hold no hope for the rest of it.
I love having an adventure with the Park Rangers. Happy to see all the old familiar faces, but new scenes and new things to look for. I have all the games in this series, and play them every couple of years because they are relaxing, and enjoyable. I play the easiest level, because that's what makes it relaxing for me, but you can make it more challenging if you wish. I always recommend these games.
Main game was fine with lovely graphics and a good story line. Started the bonus, and came to a map where I had to follow directions, and could not move anywhere (following directions or not) without being told "You lose." I gave up. I should have waited for the regular edition of this game because getting the bonus was a waste.
Played the entire game with only one problem. One puzzle where you must match an inner and outer circle to make the sign in the middle, would not reset. Other than that, game play was smooth, background sounds were appropriate and not overwhelming. Colors were a little muddy, but matched the story line. I even enjoyed playing as Rachel and thought it was a good game, but Rick Rogers' personality is why I played the first one, and why I purchased all others in the series. I know something's coming up with him from hints in the game, but I want him back now. I would have given the game five stars if Rick had been in it for more than a minute.
