This game is the 3rd in the series, and one nice thing is that games have continued to change. The graphics are very nice and bright, the storyline continues with the saving the world scenario of the first 2, the music is ok but can be annoying at times.
This is a fragmented HO. I consider this a visual rather than a mind game. There are 5 chapters with 5 different areas per chapter. You search in the real world and the "illusions" world for the pieces. I would consider the HOs above average as some items are harder to find, but all are doable once you get used to the play. The puzzles are pretty easy and skippable. The hint button fills quickly.
Overall this is a fun, relaxing little game that can fill some time before or after an intense game, or if you just want a nice relaxing game. Therefore, I recommend this game.
This is the 2nd in the series and is pretty good. The grapics are above average although a little grainy. The storyline is good, the music is ok but can become annoying. This is a fragmented HO that is played in segments of 1 to 4 rooms. Most objects are easy to find, but several can be quite small making it somewhat difficult. The puzzles are all doable and for the most part simple. Hint button refills very quickly and all puzzles can be skipped. You also collect gems in the various locations.
The game is not simple or difficult but has a combination of both elements to keep you entertained. It's just a relaxing game with a little difficulty thrown in.
I played this game for the full hour, and couldn't believe I still had no idea what the story was about (am I saving my life or the little girl# or where it was going. It says to play with the lights out and sound up which I did, but didn't really see the point.
The graphics were good. I can't comment on the storyline because you don't really know what's going on and maybe that is the storyline. The music/sound was ok. The voice-overs were well done. The HOs were fairly good, but more numerous than I would have liked. I think I played 3 puzzles, one was really a hybrid HO #a telephone made of tons of objects). Nothing about this game really excited me.
Overall I am at a loss on this game. I just couldn't get excited about it. Definitely a no on my list.
When I first started playing HOs, I soon tired of the straight HO games and wanted some a little more exciting. This is one of the first games I purchased. Although I have moved on to other games, this one is still fun as a simple filler game.
The graphics are dated but still very nice and are bright compared with the current games. There are many puzzles which are timed, but are easily doable within the time frame. This is a FROG (fragmented objects) that have some challenges, but again easily doable. Each section is between one & four areas so there is no need for a map or notebook. The hints are created by finding "?" which are easy to spot. The storyline is simple, the music can be somewhat annoying but not bad.
Overall this is a good game for a beginner who wants to move on from the straight HOG type game, but can be fun for those who want a simple, light game after playing a more intense one. I still play it on occasion and still enjoy it.
This is also the 1st installment of series (currently at 3) which sort of ties the whole storyline together.
This game was okay. If you really like HOs, there are a ton of them; however, I thought they were pretty easy. The mini games are also fairly easy, I found only one that I would consider above average. The game is not overly hard as you don't have to do a lot of "walking".
The graphics are above average, clear and crisp. The storyline and music are okay.
This isn't a great game, but it isn't a bad game either. It is a relaxing 3+ hours of play.
I am recommending this game since I gave it 3 stars.
If you liked the Dark Parables games, this one is in the same style. To begin the graphics are beautiful, the storyline is a little weak, the music ok, the HOs are above average (fragmented objects), and the puzzles average but fun. There are also 30 or so morph items which I think adds a layer of fun to the game. There is also a map which is somewhat helpful. So why a 5 rating?
The graphics and game play are why I give this a 5. This is a relaxing, enjoyable game. It is not so difficult as to become frustrating and not so easy as to become boring. I like that the game play offers a little bit different style to other HOs. A good way to end a long day. Game play is about 4 to 5 hours I think (didn't really pay attention to that).

This is the 2nd in the series and if you are expecting the same sort of game, you won't find it here. The 1st game had you collecting items to wake people from a deep sleep. This one is much more similar to other HO games.
There are lots of puzzles, most are fairly easy. The HOs are mainly searching for one particular type of item (chess pieces, thread, etc.#. Some of the HOs you collect items, and then assemble them to create a needed item which is kind of fun. My only complaint is the HOs are fairly monochromatic which can make them difficult.
The graphics are beautiful, the storyline ok, music ok, no voice-overs, no map #but not necessary). The notebook is used to record combinations, etc.
The game is a good length and actually fun.
I was looking forward to a game similar to the 1st, but overall I enjoyed the game.
This game is quite good. The graphics are terrific, the storyline is good, the music is good without becoming annoying. No voice overs. The HOs and puzzles were above average, a challenge but definitely doable.
The game took me about 5+ hours I think but did not become mundane or monotaneous.
Even though I rarely use them, it could have used a map and/or notebook as it becomes quite large. I did spent some time "walking" as some items took quite awhile to find (in fact some I thought I might have missed), and then I forgot where I needed to put them.
Overall this is an excellent game that is well worth the price for either the SE or CE. I highly recommend this game.
I found this game enjoyable in that it was different from other HOs. The graphics are marvelous, the storyline and music are good. The HOs are nice and clear. I found the puzzles a little easy, but there were a few that were more challenging.
I have to admit I did get a little tired of the game towards the end and couldn't wait for it to be over. But I did finish and I did enjoy it. Next time I don't think I will play it all at one time. I think it took about 5-5 1/2 hours total which is a good game length.
Overall this is a pretty good game for beginners and intermediate players.
