This is a great game. The graphics are terrific, the storyline good, and the music good as well. Although a ghost story, the scenes were mostly bright and clear.
The HOs were good with interaction play, the puzzles were only fair I thought and easily doable with maybe a couple that were a little more challenging. There are 35 morphing items which adds a bit of fun to the gameplay. I bought the CE last month and thoroughly enjoyed it. This game was about average length for me, maybe a little more.
I highly recommend this game.

This game is very strange in that I can't figure out who it is playing to. The graphics are beautiful but lean toward the juvenile as does the storyline at first. However, as the story continues and ends it seems just a little creepy.
The HOs are easy but have a lot of clever interaction. The puzzles are very simple. This is definitely a beginner game, but not necessarily a children's game. It was also very short. I completed it quickly, way under what I would consider average length.
I really don't think it is worth full price maybe as a DD.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is pretty good. First off, no HO scenes. The graphics are above standard and the storyline is good. The cutscenes aren't very good at all and the character amatuerish. I didn't notice any music or sound effects. No voice overs and the camera is basically your notebook. No map is needed as the game is fairly linear. The puzzles are fair, and all easily doable. There is no mode option, and I didn't use the tutorial so can't comment there. I finished the game in less than my average time so it is not a lengthy play.
Having said all that it is still a pretty good game for beginner or even intermediates. For the experienced player, I would consider this a nice filler game.
I recommend this game!

This game has everything. Exquisite graphics, great cutscenes, terrific music, a really good storyline, but no voices overs (but no one talks to you anyway). There are achievements as well. It has 3 modes of play-casual, advanced and hard. Only minus there is no map.
The HOs are bright and usually have 1 or 2 items that are harder to find. The puzzles range from average to somewhat challenging. They can all be reset or skipped. Lots of work to do within the story, finding, collecting and using this and that.
The game length was above average for me, and the bonus chapter added a nice finish to the game although I felt it was a little short.
Overall this is a great game and offers a great challenge to all levels of player.
I highly recommend this game.

This was a really fun game. The graphics are fantastic, the music was very well done, voice overs and storyline were good. The cutscenes were short, but very well done. You can earn acheivements which adds to the fun.
The HOs were clear & "crisp". In other words you were not looking at a lot of fuzzy areas. The puzzles were good going from easy to above average. No game modes, oh well. No map either, but game play is fairly linear.
I would say this game was longer than average for me. I loved the game and would recommend it to all levels of player.
I recommend this game!

This is a pretty good HO game. It is not like the current HO games in that there is no lead in, no cutscenes, a very mild storyline, no characters, no music. It's like BAM!, let's get started.
The basic story is you are cleaning the house and area of ghosts. The HOs are challenging, the puzzles are all jigsaw but entertaining, and you battle lots of ghosts.
This is a timed game with penalties for using the hint button. I think the penalties very from 10 to 30 minutes depending on where they are used. You collect some rewards, but you collect them no matter what. There is a journal that can be a little helpful, but really is no necessary to the game.
As a semi-straight HO I have to admit I enjoyed the game, and finished in what was for me a little less than average time.
I would recommend this game as a relaxing, fun filler game.
I recommend this game!

From the first I had issues with this game. The girl's voice was very annoying in the intro scene. Also the music and the sound effects were annoying, I turned them off after about 10 minutes. I completed the demo, but really had no desire to find out what happened.
The graphics were good, the HOs were average and puzzles were very easy. There really isn't anything about this game that I can recommend.
I don't recommend this game.

This was one of my early buys, and I loved the game. It has beautiful graphics, a fair storyline, circular HOs, and fairly easy puzzles. It is not a difficult game, but it is fun to play.
Although I have moved on to other games, I still play it occasionally just for fun.
For a beginner or even the intermediate player, this is a very good game and offers something a little different to the usual HOGs.
I recommend this game!

This game had very good graphics, good sound effects. No voice overs which I actually missed. The music was unobtrusive, and when I did notice it , it seemed to fit the mood of the game. The storyline wasn't bad but did not really play a major role in the game, it seems to be secondary to the play. Not a lot of cutscenes but the ones it has are very well done.
The HOs were good, clear and crisp. The puzzles were average and all doable. There was no map, but it was not really necessary as play was fairly linear. There are 2 modes, casual and advanced. The advanced does not show sparkles except for the HOs, but the hint button is always available.
Overall this is a fairly good game. Was a good length. An enjoyable play.
I recommend this game!

This game was fun and entertaining, however...
I didn't mind the cartoon graphics at first, but when I went to play it again they were bothersome. Maybe that's because I have since played some games with really great graphics. From the beginning I found the voice overs particularly annoying and began clicking through them soon after starting the game. The HOs were average, and the puzzles fairly easy although I did enjoy some of them. I did enjoy the demon, he was very cool. The map was helpful but keep popping up when you changed locations which I also found somewhat annoying.
I also experienced a delay while playing which made me think I had done something wrong. So keep clicking.
In spite of all this I did enjoy the game as it was different and entertaining; however, if I had to do it again I would only buy as the DD.
With the right graphics and voice overs this game would get a 4 or 5 rating, but for now I can only give it a 3.
I would recommend this game for beginners or someone who wants something a little different from the norm.
I recommend this game!
