My review is based on the completion of the Main game plus the Bonus and the Hidden Chapter.
I love fantasy games so I was very happy to see this one today and thoroughly enjoyed it. I will probably play it again soon. The main game was of a decent length and I liked the storyline, plus the map was easy to navigate through all the scenes.
There are all manner of creatures to encounter some good ones that help you out and other evil ones that don't!
The HOS were very varied, although there was one type I really struggled with as you change between 3 scenes to complete it.
The puzzles were excellent and there was quite a variety, they started off relatively easy but became a bit harder as you progressed through the game.
There are 66 Familiars to collect, cute little furry things that seem to hatch out of something as they blend in very well to their background except for their eyes.
I recommend this game!

I have really enjoyed the game as there is so much to do and to collect.
At first I thought the game was a bit too slow and going to be boring with all the gadgets, i.e the magnetic device, the drone and the thermo-suit, but I love fantasy games so that all changed when I entered the ice world via Stonehenge.
The graphics are colourful with a few dark scenes, the voices were very good, and the music was appropriate.
The creatures in the game were fabulous, I especially like the Fire Fox who shed a few tears until I pulled a splinter from his paw and bandaged his foot. Also on the Menu page there are two small purple creatures you can interact with and they also appear in the game but they are not helpers, which will be a relief to those who don't like them.
The HOS were varied and I think the devs put just about everything into them, I must admit that as the game progressed they became a bit more difficult.
Mini Games and Puzzles - like the HOS they became more difficult although there were still some fairly easy ones inbetween. I skipped the last puzzle in the bonus game as I couldn't really understand it. Which reminds me, some of the instructions for the puzzles were a bit obscure.
You find a Diary at the beginning of the game which also includes Tasks.
The Map was excellent and transports you quickly. It also shows if you have missed a collectible in a scene by depicting a butterfly. If you click the word Show on the map page 3 glowing discs appear on your Inventory for Morphs, Statuettes and Artefacts, and when they are found the disc stops glowing.
Collectibles: 17 Statuettes, 20 Artefacts, 35 Morphs and 83 Marsh Lights so that you can buy the creatures to populate your Zoological Garden.
A warning for all those who despair of zipper pulls - there is definitely one in the bonus game but I can't remember if there is one in the main game.
BONUS GAME
It was of a decent length, for me it took one and a half hours to play, but I am a self confessed slow player as I like to take it slowly rather than rush the game.
The bonus sort of follows on from the main game with a different bad guy who kidnaps.......... No I am not going to spoil it for you.
The very last scene sort of hints at what might be in the next game these devs produce.
I recommend this game!

This game is just fun, fun, fun.
Lots of things to do including interacting with a wide range of objects throughout the game from frogs to birds, and flowers that you can change the colour of.
The map is very good and transports you fairly quickly which is excellent as you are running backwards and forwards all the time.
There are cards to find and further into the game they become a bit more difficult to spot. The last one I found near the end of the game was quite feint. The collectibles vary as they are all very different.
Every time you pick up a card or collectible a pop-up box appears on the left to let you know you have found them all in that scene.
The HOS are very good with a lot of interaction. I also liked the puzzles and mini games as they were not mind numbing, some were very easy and others not so much.
My two favourite characters are the Pelican and Cheshire, I loved his voice and laughed out loud at his quiff hairstyle.
I recommend this game!

This game is different to most of the other Witches' Legacy games. The graphics are good with some dark scenes but others are very colourful. The voices are reasonable and there's a fair bit of dialogue, although you can skip them by just clicking. I can't comment on the music as I didn't really notice it, for me that means it wasn't intrusive.
We have a little helper and I must admit that I laughed a few time at her actions.
I always click on virtually everything in a scene mainly to see it there's any interaction, I particularly liked the chameleon as I could change it's colour and there are others which made me laugh too.
There is a lot of toing and froing to collect what you need to continue but the map is very good and transports you quickly. It also shows if you have collected both the puzzle pieces and the morphing objects
The HOS were good and varied, they are visited twice but not one after the other.
The mini games/puzzles were fairly easy and not mind boggling. I am about halfway through the game so maybe they might become a bit more difficult.
There are 12 achievements, 36 puzzle pieces and 34 morphing objects.
I am off to feed my fur babies and then back to the game, and hopefully I will finish it before I fall asleep.
I recommend this game!

I was surprised to see another game from these devs so soon and was eagerly waiting for it to download. I had high hopes for another great game but was disappointed.
The voices are very good as are the graphics. The scenes are quite dark though and I only found one collectible but not a single morph in the demo.
My pet peeve was the Evidence Board, I had absolutely no idea of how to use it and kept getting distracted by the phone flashing and jiggling around, and the detective waffling away.
At that point I said to myself "why are you playing this?" so I exited the game.
I am sure a lot of gamers will like this one but it was just not my cup of tea.

A fantastic game. The title is Dark City so most scenes are dark but as the graphics are excellent my poor old eyes don't get strained. The voices are very good too.
I felt the game was a bit slow at the beginning but it picks up the pace quite quickly. I was so absorbed by this game the time just flew by.
The HOS are few and far between and the mini games are quite fun and not too complicated so far.
The Extras include a replay of the HOS and Mini Games, 28 Achievements and 30 Skeleton Collectibles.
Off to play again.
I recommend this game!

I have all the previous League of Light games and am enjoying this one too.
It seems the Gatherer is collecting people and, weird and wonderful creatures to assess their behaviour. Thankfully my little helper escaped and is now helping me through the game.
Extras:
24 Owls who are cleverly hidden in the background.
6 Statuettes of the players in the game.
6 Achievements are shown and there are 3 to collect in each category, so 18 in all.
20 Puzzle Pieces - I was annoyed at myself for not finding any in the demo but when I looked in the achievements section I had already collected 4. I think they are related to completing the mini games.
Mini Games - some easy and some very hard!
The map is good and if you miss a collectible and go back to the scene a silver circular symbol lets you know that you have missed it.
WARNING - don't despair but you do have to find a zipper pull after the demo!
I'm off to finish the game now.
I recommend this game!

What an appalling game!
I did actually fall asleep until one of my cats jumped onto my lap. I really can't say anything good about it except that I would have loved to cuddle the little chubby dog.
Ghastly music which was also boring as well as annoying. I thought murder mysteries had more dramatic music than this.
Surprisingly I skipped the puzzles as I usually love them. The mini games were so easy they were an insult even to an amoeba.
Wooden voices with a range of awful accents, except for the butler as his English was well pronounced.
Story line - well there wasn't really one, all you have to do is run around for anything and everything the characters demand. You are even expected to climb a tree to the top of the building wearing a full length 19th century dress AND on the way up you have to do a mini game too, which is in 4 parts!
Sadly my 'supernatural abilities' abandoned me today, if they hadn't I would never have demoed this game.
This game is definitely not CE worthy in my opinion.
I don't recommend this game.

Who will win? Well I don't know as I haven't finished the game yet but I think I know which one it will be.
I am not going to spoil it for anyone by describing the game play but I will list the Extras.
8 chapters in the main game and 2 in the bonus, so I reckon it's going to be a fairly long game.
Replay of the Puzzles and HOS, and so far the HOS have been fragmented ones.
Parables - There are 21 and I think I've missed a lot of them
Collectibles are 39 acorns, and for me some of them were hard to find in the darker scenes.
Souvenirs - they are as always at the end of the Bonus Chapter.
That's it as I am off to play again.
I'm happy, happy, happy today - thank you devs for the birthday present.
I recommend this game!

A short review as I want to get back to the game.
I thought the graphics were good and the voices, except for the Uncle's as I thought he sounded a bit wooden, not that it bothered me much.
HOS are few and far between and a bit different, I liked them.
Puzzles and mini games were good too.
Morphing Objects - in every scene I have played so far.
Achievements - quite a lot of them.
Collectibles - there are so many I would advise you to check them out so that you can see what you are looking for. Sometimes there are 2 in a scene.
Map - very good and clear. It also indicates if you have missed a morph or a collectible, I like this feature and wished more devs would do this.
If you can't find the Strategy Guide click on the Phoenix to the left of the inventory which also includes Achievements, Collections and Tasks.
That's it, I am off to play.
