This is truly one of the best games I've played and I have played many since I joined BFG in '07.
Everything was great, the storyline, the HOS were clear and rarely required a hint. Some of the puzzles I skipped but then I'm not the most patient soul on the planet. I was very sorry to come to the end. You don't need the CE as the SE had an excellent ending and the strategy guide is not required. The transporting map and great hint system does all required.
I wish more people would indicate their favourite game. This really helps folks looking for a new one.

I usually buy games based on reviews because I like to finish a game before starting another, so trials don't work for me.
This game started out great but after HOS after HOS, I lost the story. I rarely write negative reviews but this game is Frustration 101. Not only are there too many HOS, but the items are very hard to find and the hint charges very sloooowly. I have played many games and sincerely surprised this is so well reviewed.

This was an excellent game, as are all of the Rite of Passage series.
I'd just like to suggest you not bother spending extra for the CE. It isn't worth it.

This is one of the best games I've played and I've played many! It has all the bells & whistles of a CE at SE price.
When is ended (I thought), I was so disappointed and felt It had been a little short. Then I checked bonus content and sure enough quite a bit more. I was still disappointed when in ended but only because I had enjoyed playing so much. I have hundreds of HO games but this is in the top five list.

I was so looking forward to playing this game after all the great reviews. What a disappointment. Ho hum story line.
The puzzles were 90% the same and not worth the time to work them out. Plus, if you skipped a puzzles you had to wait about 2 min. for the hint button to return. Trust me that's a long time when you need a hint..

The storyline was not bad but sadly, the excessive # of HOS ruined the game for me. The objects were sometimes very hard to find. My other concern was there was no opportunity to reset a mini game and a few times I realized what I'd done wrong but couldn't reset.
Overall, not sorry to see it end

If your really into HOS vs. Adventure, this is the game for you.
I'm not. The HOS were reasonable. The hint button and skip button were very slow so the length of the game is deceiving as you spend time waiting.

I have enjoyed the previous Puppet Show games so was looking forward to this one. It started out good but after a while, it became a HOS game. Go to one room, do one thing and another HOS, over and over again. This is the first BFG I have not completed and I have play many since 2007 that I did not complete. I was so fed up of HOS. This is also the worst review I have given which shows my level of frustration. I reread the reviews and no one mentioned the excessive # of HOS which is a shame because I would not have purchased it.
I don't recommend this game.
Enjoy this beautiful adventure set in a unique interactive 3D Thailand! Complete mysterious puzzles and find hidden objects. Prepare for an unforgettable experience!

This white hand is always waiting for you to place it somewhere. You can barely think looking at this dumb hand. Plus the hand jumps around a bit, further annoying me.
I have literally hundreds of games and this is a first. Just stick to the point and click we all know and love.

I liked everything about this game. There were not many HOS which is great with me. But the ones there are are clear and rarely require a hint. The mini games are fun and I had to skip very few - just ones I'm not fond of - like unwind the cords so none overlap - really tired of this one!
The storyline was excellent and followed along well. Although there is quite of bit of back and forth, it was not a problem because the morphing map got you to the right place. Was very disappointed when I reached the end!
