Cute dog! Watch out ghostly pirate ship. Is there a ghost or a dastardly plot? Great graphics and characters. A little confused on what era but appears to be about the 40's. Characters are diverse and dressed well. Nice clarity in Hidden Object Games.
Another amulet and the person inside was rather annoying. Morph items are pretty well hidden but findable and at least morph and hidden objects are indicated on screen if any are left to find!
Good flow forward which I enjoyed and good lead into rest of story. Will consider buying this one.
So the elephant saved and raised a human.Sigh! The characters and animals are well crafted with excellent attention to detail. A lot of work went into creation of them as well as the detailed scenery and decor. Also the voice overs are pleasant enough or gruff enough to fit the source, but graphics are very bright and often distracting and some items are SMALL.
I found nothing original in the story line and the constant background noise was annoying. In order to play the game I turned off the music and the sound especially to avoid that infernal clunk when you find something or scroll over an item. The crowd noise at the palace just went on and on even when you entered the palace.
I am tired of potions, amulets, runes and bracelets that have special powers. I'm sure developers can hire people with original and innovative ideas and concepts, but they just seem to continue with the cookie cutter old tried and true dull scripts with fill in games to kill time and to break up the continuity, such as the back and forth to make items or potions that interrupts the flow.
Eventually all the bright colors became too much for my taste as well as I found the game boring. I didn't even finish the trial. Maybe it improves, to be your own judge take the trial run to see what you think
Graphics provide gamma which is a plus. Intro was okay, but man eating flowers just turned me off. Some of the items in the Hidden Object Games are hard to see and I find that just lazy development. Overall, I simply could not get into the game. For some reason I was bored right from the start especially with the dialogue and the story line. I suggest you take the time to play the trial and see for yourself. This is not one I'm going to purchase, but that is my opinion, not yours.
The graphics are excellent, the décor and rooms well decorated, the building and the exterior areas are well designed. Don't know about the bat creatures. I think a little more creativity might have gone into their development. They appeared sort of cartoonish. Makes me wonder if there might be more cartoon characters in the future. Also Gordon has purple lips, but the characters are well put together. However, Gordon is more modern and the maid is old school, but that may play out in the future. I like that the game moved forward, the tasks are interesting and completed timely with only a few lingering older items left in the inventory. The mini games are fun, doable and not overly long. Hidden object games have some variety as well. Only real complaint is some of the task items were a bit small. I would consider purchasing this game. Nicely done.
The graphics are bright and colorful, some of the characters are laughable and bizarre. The script writing was horrible and left me wondering why can't they write a few interesting lines?
The story failed to intrigue me to finish the trial. There are way too many books, notes, and creations of objects, potions, etc. simply broke up the continuity of the game. I got tired of making stuff in order to move forward!
Hidden Object Games are well crafted but many of the objects are hard to find and interactive combining of objects was sometimes vague.
Mini games didn't seem to work well either. Not a fan of them I did try and even read instructions but gave up.
This game felt like old school with too much dialogue and too many tasks and, of course, back and forth trips to find stuff and put it/them together. Hint transports, so that is a plus.
Take a trip through the trial to see what you think.
The graphics, as usual with this developer, are all very bright and colorful (primary colors) but works well with a holiday theme. The characters for some reason just left me without a sense of interaction and the script was sort of choppy. The evil characters are just too scary/mean/ugly for my taste in a holiday fare presentation. Something just didn't click for me and I'm sorry because I've enjoyed most of the holiday stories each year. Will have to pass on this one! Take a sleigh ride through the trial to see what you think before you purchase this one.
As usual bright primary coloring but seemed to be less glaring in this production. Characters are well developed. Scenes are interesting and full of eye candy. The story has a little twist and I enjoyed the move forward aspect of the story. Looking forward to see what happens next.
Nicely crafted graphics and characters. Felt like intro was a Hogwart's scene? Hecate, if spelled right, was way overdone. What mortal man would want her after all her evil doings?
At least the story moved forward with some back and forth. Good scenes and interesting décor. Hidden Object Games are great and match the theme. Not a game fan just skipped most.
And you get out of the cemetery for awhile which is a nice change. I enjoyed that the story moved forward until the end of the trial. Give it a trial run to see what you think.
Graphics are well done as usual. Continuity and script poorly done. The characters don't seem to fit the situation. Nurse with low cut front and short slit in back of skirt. Doctor unemotional about anything. Asylum lobby looked like a hotel, but the hallway and cells that held the patients appeared more like a high-security prison.
The detective leaves the asylum to head to the next lead, an estate, gets in a car wreck and has to walk down some stairs to the reach estate. Surprise the doctor and nurse beat the detective to the estate? How? And all the escaped patients are there roaming throughout the house. SIGH...continuity?
Hidden Object Games are interactive and sometimes double scenes. Nicely crafted but some are a bit unclear. One requires matching scribbled symbols from a notebook to scribbled chalk symbols on a wall. The crown looked like a piece of cheese.
Since I really can't say anything positive about this release, I'll just say take the trial run and see what you think. I lasted about 15 minutes before I wanted to quit but pushed on another 15 minutes trying to give it a fair chance.
With well done graphics and character development, this is another sad product in need of a seasoned editor and an intelligent script writer to pull the players into the story rather than make them stop in their tracks shaking heads. I would like to see forward games that excites me to see what happens next.
Graphics are bright or tend to be drab and gritty. Script is boring. Character voices overdone! Journalist repeats herself to the point of annoying "What's taking so long?" Well yeah what is taking so long to rescue her? Puzzles, tasks, hidden object games, etc.
Mail chute became boring after numerous drops. Plenty of Mini Games. Hidden Object Games are overflowing with many objects, some two level, with interaction.
Bottle of nitro tossed at door...that much would have blown the wing off! Three part puzzle when one was enough. Lots of back and forth.
I'm really tired of dull games, with predictable steps, back and forth tasks and fill in puzzles that break any possible continuity to move the game forward. I try to be fair and honest in my opinion and I respect other opinions, but it seems developers that continue to present cookie cutter games with few new innovations or creative concepts are not respecting the player either.
