Graphics are okay, voice overs were confusing with varying accents.
The Hidden Object Games are overflowing with objects.
I won't even go into the Mini Games. Skipped them!
The hospital didn't have any staff. The doctor even seemed suspicious The fiancé was raging and violent at the hospital? Maybe he was poisoned too? What happened to her partner he was trying to fight off the fiancé? Then she is fighting him. Lake of continuity was annoying.
The introduction turned me off right from the start. When SHE picked up HER phone she had MAN hands. Okay, maybe that statement isn't politically correct, but come on developers...Really! There was also a small dopey looking detective character with a huge pipe, magnifying glass and hat that looked like a bowl. I hoped he would disappear. Didn't see him again. Whew!
Cop started out with an accent that sounded foreign then it disappeared and he looks like a thug.
DNA detected poison? Glad mine didn't! Then a fight game to overcome the finance and that was annoying. Final straw...LOCK PIC. I can't believe a developer would be foolish enough to add it after all the negative lock pic comments. Maybe they don't read the comments. Maybe the should! I didn't even finish the trial, YAWN.
Hire new script writers or maybe even an editor! Give the player something that moves forward.
I don't recommend this game.

After playing the entire game, I won't go into what others have already shared. I would have given this game a 5 except by the end of the game I was sick of the Mini games and the ending was disappointing.
However, this is a beautifully crafted game in all areas including scenes, décor, game design and I found it a visual delight to play. I have to say there was a lot of back and forth and no hint transport which I prefer.
The child in the graveyard had the most annoying voice over I've heard in ages and eventually became like someone scratching nails on a blackboard.
Unfortunately, the Mini Games about ruined the game for me and are so abundant they became intrusive. Though beautifully crafted, they are mostly a lot of shuffling around and I find that annoying. There are a couple that required memorizing symbols, if remembering numbers isn't bad enough, symbols are hard! Move gears through a labyrinth, track card movements to win game, take a path and stop four times to complete games is just a taste of the multitude of games offered. Alternate type of games are enjoyable and fun to complete. But isn't this a HIDDEN OBJECT GAME?
There are ample Hidden Object Games as well and they are beautifully crafted with clear objects and some interactive parts along with a few simple ones tossed in for some reason.
Towards the end there are two skeletons in armor. One had a feather headband missing one feather. What self-respecting knight's armor has feathers? Really!
Again, the ending was BLAH! The villain appears for about 1 minute, explanation is brief and not well clarified as to explain more about who he was and provide a better understanding what was behind his actions; its all rather illogical and gave me the feeling that not a lot of thought went into the ending.
Why can't developers come up with endings that are exciting, intriguing and a cherry on top of a well-baked cake? We earn the right to have a great ending after devoting a large chunk of time playing a game to only say is that all there is to the end?.
Spoiler: end game, you fight the villain and it requires excellent dexterity. I tried a couple of time before saying NO WAY and skipped it.
I am so happy that SKIP is my friend in these games where developers think that filling in time with Mini games is a solution rather than develop a more interesting script and an intriguing story to pull the player into the story!
I recommend this game!

Good introduction, pulls player into story with good back story explanation. Graphics are excellent and the hint transports. Characters vary depending on designer.
Hidden Object Games are well crafted though a bit cluttered and sometimes unclear but once you get focused not too bad.
Not a fan of the Mini Games so I'll just pass on those.
Story was interesting and poor princess maybe she will reunite with a prince charming. I enjoyed the artist theme because it fits in with the developers color palette. I liked that the piano notes were clear and simple to use to complete the task. To clarify I didn't have to remember them in sequence.
I enjoyed the move forward game play, doors didn't take an act of congress to open, just a few tasks, no complicated mini games to gain entrance.
Noticed there is a lot of back and forth but since the hint transports that isn't a big issue.
Enjoyable game with nice content, décor and design.
I recommend this game!

Not a fan of boxes of dialogue read to me and this has lots of that going on. To start off you get 3 modes Easy, Normal and Hard and NO Custom.
In the beginning the graphics are real life views of forests and characters. After that they go back into a dialogue box and you gain a cute alligator friend after you travel to another world. The graphics are well done as are the characters. I'm sure there is more to this game than the 25 minutes I played it.
The characters are cute, the quests made me feel I was in a cartoon and are pretty simple and straight forward. This would be a good game to play with the smaller children because they don't have to read.
Not my cup of tea, but can't see anything bad with a game that would be a nice afternoon with grandma!
I recommend this game!

The graphics are horrible, dull, drab and lack luster. The shopkeeper is creepy and needs a hair cut and his place is filled with a bunch of junk. Other than send characters on an adventure he could be replaced or removed.
The three people in this game are stupid. Who walks into the woods in a desolated area that is obviously not safe? But then there wouldn't be a story. The bossy daughter disappears. Really was that predictable or what? Mother heads into woods to find her, husband is told go to the town below for help. Ok? Next is a ridiculous three-part Mini game which makes little sense, move leaves and follow footsteps. It's just annoying. That's the word I'm looking for! Annoying!
From the onset I found the game annoying and unpleasant to play. I disliked the scenery, the décor, the characters and the story, so can't say much more than that.
The Ranger station was nothing more than click on hints with very little clarity. The Tarot table is another joke, good thing they had numbers on them because they were one of worst depictions of the cards that I've seen in any game, Besides, they really didn't have anything much to do with the story.
The Hidden Object Game was dark, the items unclear, and click on anything seemed to be the best solution.
The whole feeling of this game was old, boring and lacked anything to make me want to play any longer than 15 minutes. It just didn't feel like a new presentation, more like something old that had been dredged up. I didn't find one thing I enjoyed in this game and I can usually find something positive.
You take the trial run and see for yourself what you think. I can't recommend this one.

Can brighten screen which is a big plus, items have clarity where they will belong which is wonderful instead of saying what the heck is this for? The game moves forward, it exhibits well designed décor that is fit for the theme and the characterization of the characters is average.
Even though it's a high school theme the script seems a bit juvenile as well as the voice overs, but that is the interpretation of developers.
Mini Games-I'm not a fan and I've seen them before but at least the ones I played have a Halloween theme. Hidden object games are enjoyable with clear items.
40 cents for bubble gum? That has to be a dang huge piece of gum!
Overall it's an enjoyable theme game and good to get in the mood for the holiday. Not my cup of "cider." Just didn't grab me enough to scare me to buy it. So, I suggest you give the trial a run to see what you think.
I recommend this game!

Played full game and bonus. Beautifully crafted and designed game. Excellent graphics, characterization and interesting story. Well designed décor, scenes and locations. Great voice overs and a very long game. The story moved forward with mostly enjoyable tasks and without boring amulets or constantly making items or potions. Note: you can often find puzzle pieces in boxes, drawers etc., rather than the regular hiding places. There is a lot of back and forth and the hint doesn’t transport all the time, and more of that takes place towards the end of the main story. I’ll add a spoiler at the end, so beware.
Hidden Object Games are beautiful, interactive and provide clarity with a few oversights. Like a cat needs a toy, knew it was the dangling thing, but had a hard time getting it to connect, so kept trying and cat finally caught it and moved so I could obtain object. I enjoyed the cat. Had one that actually gave me the same dirty look.
Mini games…SIGH! Now I am going to nitpick. Way too many. They are very well crafted, but I really grew tired of shuffling items around. Now don’t get me wrong, some of them are fun and short, but some are absolutely nightmares for a non-fan of the shuffle, turn, change, move, follow the map, and remember 6 notes in sequence to open a door. Good thing we can skip them.
Also it was disappointing that there are a few Mini games that use hints and you must stick with them until done. Like one with 4 fingers each on 2 hands, total of 8 fingers you have to close them in sequence to get the item…Ugh! I noticed that the bonus game is filled with many puzzles as well.
Also, in the bonus game St. Germain, usually a nasty little guy, must have found a potion that made him grow to the size of a normal man because he stood face to face with another character.
In the bonus game, the game froze after I put the rings and contract into the fire, so closed it out and reopened and it was fine.
ANOTHER Mini game after giving St. Germain a taste of his own devilment, a 24-block game to slide blocks to move two doors into center (skipped it) and it sends you to the Cardinal’s office and at least you get a thank you for your services.
SPOILER…SPOILER…SPOILER
End of regular game. Drink the water. Cured. DONE! OVER! That’s it! No closure regarding the other people involved, sort of anti-climatic and a turn off after playing a very long game. Developers need to make exciting introductions and equally exciting and satisfying endings. Often the ball is dropped on both. Too often the introduction is lack luster and the endings are duds leaving me for one scratching my head and wondering if I’ll purchase another game just to be disappointed. I want solid, dynamic and jaw dropping endings. And, I don’t think I’m the only one who feels this way. It’s like the developers get tired or rushed for finalization and say oh that’s good enough. Well it isn’t!
So, expecting some closure in the bonus game another surprise. It’s an altogether different story line, so no continuity when it was a really good opportunity to fill in any blanks left open to bring closure to the families who suffered from the spells or at least make the ending more dynamic.
Overall, even with my few complaints, I found the game fun to play and like I said a long game with beautifully displayed scenes and characters, so I recommend it. Just don't try to play it in one day if you aren't a Mini game fan! :)
I recommend this game!

Good introduction! Graphics are well done, characters nicely crafted, but the game play is annoying. Back and forth and too many sparkles and hints that lack clarity and continuity.
Needed a bridle, knew where it was, but required something to cut it out of tangles. Figured should find something in the kitchen but hints sent me outside. Eventually without using the hint I returned to the kitchen and completed a game to get a table knife.
In a shed outside, there is a mouse in a barrel with sparkles, so what to do? I had matches, 2 glass spheres, a table knife and a container with resin, so what was I suppose to do...start a fire, whack the mouse with knife or ??? Maybe I was supposed to capture it to tease the cat who refuses to give up a crystal? This is what I mean by lack of continuity. Tiresome tasks with little clarity. Who writes this stuff? Who edits it?
I started the game last night, wasn't impressed, and thought I'd pick it up this morning to see if I felt differently...nah, still found it annoying and quit. I only lasted 10-15 minutes into the trial, so maybe I didn't give it a fair chance, so I'll tell you to do the same, see what you think.
I don't recommend this game.

Even the introduction was boring! Old graphics, cluttered, tiny details. Hard to see items in Hidden Object Game. Mini games...ugh! I wish I had selected skip games! Have to crack codes repeatedly. Wooden characters but they look good. Usually I enjoy Madhead games but I found this one boring with annoying tasks. They need to update their development and design, bring in something new and innovative vs. hold on to old tried and true and boring. I made it about 15 minutes into the trial. To be fair, test it for yourself.
I don't recommend this game.

The graphics are excellent and characterization developed with detail and variance. Voice overs are very good except for the annoying child's voice, sounded like an adult trying to be a little child...didn't work. Tasks were multiple as were Mini games. Too many of them, shuffle here, shuffle there, double layered, and then a maze. Sigh! If you are a fan, you'll enjoy them because they are nicely crafted, but for me they just interrupted the game. Hidden Object games offered variety from very simple to interactive and the items were clear and in theme with the story line.
A laughable task item...the cardinal is fleeing for his life and what do you do? You collect a pair of tongs! That really interrupted the suspense! Then you use them to remove glass pieces from a broken cabinet to do a mini hidden object game. Oh well, so much for saving the cardinal!
I just wonder who writes the scripts for some of these games. Give us move forward tasks to save people and general tasks otherwise. I have noticed in many games someone is in peril and the player runs all over the place that often makes little sense or purpose before the character is actually rescued. I know its a game, but players are more sophisticated and I for one demand more realism in saving of people or souls.
Off my soap box, the game is beautifully crafted and interesting and the scenes are exceptional in detail and design. I would have given this one a 5 but I am so tired of the abundance of Mini games to fill time and break the continuity of the story line that I gave it a 4.
Maybe developers might consider making MINI GAMES for fans who enjoy them and give back Hidden Object Games as they are advertised. Still trying to understand what part of a Hidden Object Game is a multitude of Mini Games?
I recommend this game!
