The storyline was pretty good and might have been fun to finish and the HO games were well done, but the hints didn't work most of the time, so it left one confused what to do next. As the other reviewer said, you shouldn't have to buy a strategy guide to play a game! It was frustrating to the point that I finally just uninstalled it and deleted it from Big Fish. After all the work the developers went through to create this game it is a shame they didn't think the hint issue through a bit more.
Many HO games were left unfinished! You had to wait until the necessary item dropped into your inventory to complete. So you were left with the sparkling HO game until you had that correct item. Too many mini games for my taste. Had to use a walkthrough several times to move forward which is rare. Good storyline, very good visual effects and graphics. Good game if you like mini games, have a lot of patience, and enjoy moving back and forth a lot.
This was an okay game. I'm not fond of more games than hidden objects, but if you like games this one has them. Not too difficult either, so good for family play. The graphics were okay and the storyline had few surprises. It seemed like a short game in my opinion. Nothing really wrong with it but nothing really dynamic either. There was one glitch, the first time returning to the past you have to find mosaics and complete a picture, says you can turn the pieces but I couldn't get them to turn so just skipped it.
Your hint provides you with this, "There's nothing to do here now. Try exploring another scene. So you run around trying to find something you might have missed. Takes the fun out of the game for me. Lots of match items and find like ten pieces of mirror vs. hidden objects. If I had purchased the collector's version, I might have a different opinion, but I like hints that actually move me forward. If you want to spend a lot of time looking for the next step, you might enjoy this, but I've learned to read the reviews...worse ones first instead of all the great ones that sometimes don't seem to match the game play!
I don't recommend this game.

Dreampath: The Two Kingdoms Collector's Edition
Your sister, the Queen, has fallen deathly ill. Now you must travel to a faraway kingdom to find the cure.
I loved the hidden object experiences, great visual, clear, concise objects and fun little twists to find a couple covered objects. There were several other games but I found them easy and if I didn't wish to spend time on them I could skip them. The greatest asset was when you hit hint it would portal you from one place to another circumventing the running around to places that were too far away. The hints were great and reset quicker than most This game has everything to make a enjoyable adventure and fun time! I honestly don't have a lot of patience and I prefer games to move forward with a semblance of logic and reason and this one did just that! Highly recommend this game!
If you are extremely intuitive and don't need much direction this might be an enjoyable adventure. However, I found it frustrating. As a Hidden Object fan I found all the added games that you MUST complete in order to move on annoying. You can't skip them. I went to a website with a free walkthrough and sadly I needed to use it more often than I like. My major complaint is that frequently when you finish a task there is no indication what to do or where to go next. Also hints don't work or help as much as I've experienced in other games. Get the walkthrough or buy the full version with strategy.
