Back in the day, BFG used to release these nice SE games during the week. This one is by Artifex Mundi and it does not disappoint. Great puzzles and HOS. A story you an actually follow with tasks related to the gameplay. This one definiately deserves a try. It's one of my favorites.

If you've played one Domini games, you've played them all. Slightly different story (and I use the word story loosely ). You'd think with their hiatus, they'd be at the drawing board coming up with something original and challenging. Nooooo. I'm going to use a fang to pry something open. This is a pass for me. After playing a bunch of older games recently, I can see just how much is lacking. I don't recommend.
I don't recommend this game.

Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Gray Syndrome Collector's Edition
Help Sam rescue his love Anna in Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Gray Syndrome, an incredible Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game!
I finally got around to playing this game, and WOW. It's by a very small developer and you must get the CE. There's a background on how they came up with the story and why. This game was challenging and extremeley interesting. You do get a map but it doesn't transport you so be ready to be walking all over the place as there are many scenes. This ha got to be one of the top games BFG has ever released. I highly recommend it.
This is a hit or miss series for me, and this was one pretty good. It kept me interested and did justice to Poes book. I liked the HOS and the mini games were ones I was able to do. I recommend it.
Wow another great Shrouded Tales. Friendly Cactus did a great job with this trilogy of a series. It was so much fun to play and kept my attention the entire time. Mini games were fun and HOS were great. Storyline was amazing. It's so nice to have a story line instead of just disipating smoke and finding keys the entire game. I highly recommend.
I recommend this game!

This is a game from Friendly Cactus from 2015. If you can find the first one in the series, play it. BF does not carry it, but it's also a great game and a good intro to this one, although this one can be played without playing the first one. The game is long with a great bonus chapter. Lots of mini games and interesting HOS. I loved the way games used to be made and am playing all these older games. They don't get any better than this.
I recommend this game!

House of 1000 Doors: Family Secrets Collector's Edition
Guide Kate Reed as she solves four mind-bending mysteries that take her to worlds she's never imagined!
Another game I've had in my inventory for years. This is from 2011. Wow, what a great game. It took me days to play. It was a very long game with a great bonus chapter. Very challenging. There is a transportable map, but I didn't use it. There are so many locations to visit. This game is by Five BN and they almost always release great games. Give this one a try if you haven't. There are quite a few HOS as olde games seem to have more of those. Great puzzles. Great story line and excellent level of challenge.

What happened to this series? It started out really good, then tanked. I'm not understanding the glowing reviews for this. Maybe some have much lower standards than I do. I really don't like these games where you are trapped in 2 or 3 locations and must finish them before moving on. Do they think we will become confused if we can roam all over and have a full inventory? There is absolutely NO story line to this game at all. Just task after task. Where's the story? What is supposed to keep one engaged with the game? No. This probably deserves less than one star but that's not an option. There are great developers out there but unfortunately we are stuck with the same 2 over and over. This is a no buy for me and I do NOT recommend.
I don't recommend this game.

This is a game from Gunnar Games from 2012, but it is definitely worth playing. It has so much atmosphere to it. You fee you are right there in that post accident town. I don't think it's a long game but it took me a long time to play it. There's no map and the hint system just tells you there's nothing to do in that area. HOS were good and there weren't too many like there are in some older games. If you haven't tried this one, demo it. I found it to be excellent and wish they still made games like this.

This is one of the better Mystery Tracker games I have played. It's older but it had great visuals and everything was easy to see. Long game with lots to do. A good amount of HOS and puzzles. Definitely not a cookie cutter game. It had an actual story line I recommend it.
