This had a dual person play like Dark Romances. You played as one character then the other. It's a typical Domini Game, but the story line was a bit better. Graphics as usual were great. We are saving the forest in this game and the werewolf is helping. As usual, the bonus game was good but loaded with too many mini games for me. All in all I really liked this.
I'm catching up with some older games and saw this one. I really liked it. I guess it's Domini's new Dark Romances. This had a story that was interesting. This is really a first for me with Domni. The game itself wasn't overloaded with mini games. The bonus chapter though had quite a few. Also, the bonus chapter was good. This gets 4 stars from me. I really enjoyed it.
This series has a good premise, but poor execution. We have haunted portraits. There's another game kind of like this, but it was excellent. This was so long and drawn out, I was ready to scream by the time I got to the bonus chapter. There's only so much you can do about a haunted portrait without bringing in other facets. Anyway, the game was easy except for finding where they wanted me to use ridiculous items. The visuals were OK in this one. Usually they're excellent. The story needed something else. This could be such a good creepy series, but it's not. 3 stars.
This was an OK game. This series isn't too bad. I suppose it's about finding out if things we speak about are real or not. I recall one game had Nessie in it. As usual with Domini, the graphics were great. The story was ok. The mini games were abundant. Too many for my liking. You play each HOS twice. At least they removed the click penalty. Domini games are the ones I play and then never remember them. I think the only series I really liked was Dark Romances. All the games are more or less the same. Some tasks are so far fetched, I need the hint button. Overall, not bad. The bonus chapter was cute. That I liked.
I kind of like this series although they all seem the same. Melinda, the police officer, bosses around the journalist and he or she does all the work while she squats on the floor with a magnifying glass for an hour. This one was just ok. The story got very convoluted towards the middle and too many suspects were added. It got confusing. You play the HOS twice. For me, way too many mini games, but I don't like mini games, so for others, it's probably a good thing. As always with Domini games, the visuals are spot on. Also as always, I'm running around trying to figure out what to do with an opener because I'm definitely not going to use it to open something. That would make sense. All in all not bad. I didn't like the bonus chapter. I mean, finding clues after 10 years is stretching it a bit. It was boring at times. Took me a long time to play it. I had to keep stopping and go do something else.
I think I like this series the best out of all DO gams series. This one seemed a bit short as the previous ones were very long. I was OK with that though. I found the story interesting and it kept my attention. This is one series that consistently has a story to it. I must say there were a LOT of mini games. I am not a fan of mini games but otheres are, so I just skip them. The bonus chapter was good too.
I just got around to playing this one. I haven't played an HOPA in quite a while as there's been nothing that has interested me. This was a super cute game. As usual with DO games, the graphics were excellent. It was a cheery Christmas story. The issue I usually have with DO games, as it cropped up again in this game, is that some of the tasks are so far fetched, I have no idea what to do. I ended up using an opener on something you would never dream of using an opener on. Other than that, I really did enjoy this one.
Square Root of Tree has been doing the Emily games and I like them much better than the older games. Although the older Emily games will always hold a place in my heart. I'm not sure what's wrong with this game that annoyed some reviewers. They say the characters look cartoonish. Well, Emily and friends are cartoons. The game does start out pretty easy but it does get much harder. I love the tutorial as it points out things that I didn't notice. As far as difficulty settings, there are 3. Although I play a lot of time management games, I am not the queen of them. I play on beginner and I found it got very difficult once they got to the garden. Ive been playing this game for months on another site. I highly recommend this game . It's a lot of fun.

So DO has put out another rack up the stars for no reason at all game. It seems this is the best we are going to get. DO games are always graphically wonderful. It's the rest of the game that's awful. Same thing over and over. I used to have a list of all the games I wanted to buy bc there were so many good ones. I've waited patiently to see if anything, even one game, would come out that was about subpar. I've been a member since the beginning. Saturday's were a day to look forward to as far as a fantastic new game along with Tuesdays and Thursdays. There also used to be a slightly less popular developer's game thrown in there and some were just amazing gems. At this point, after 15 years, it is no longer worth it to me to be a Big Fish Member. I'm literally replayig games from 2012. Sorry BFG, you had quite a few years to deliver something worthwhile, but you didn't. This game was the final straw in the horrible game selection.
I've just recently gotten into puzzles online. I love this developer for puzzles. The Christmas theme is great. I could do Christmas all year round. This one gives you lots of choices such as background color, neat scatter, shape of pieces, rotate pieces or not, edges only, etc. I absolutely love this. I'm a bit late to the jigsaw puzzle, but thought I'd add my 2 cents.
