I saw the bad reviews but thought... hey... a Mystery Trackers game cant be that bad. Oh, yes it can. This story is beyond ridiculous. I almost fell asleep playing it. I'm 3/4 of the way done and may just stop. It is awful and I don't say that about many games. Monsters and going back and forth 14 years to other monsters who are really cadets?? Everythiing is so ridiculous it's confusing because it's so disjointed.

I did end up purchasing this game and this review is based on the entire game plus Bonus Chapter. I really liked the remastered edition. They kept the game exactly the same but were able to add some bells and whistles not available back when. I especially wanted the custom mode play so I wasn't waiting until I grew old for the Skip or Hint button to charge. The CE is a must in this game as the SE would end quite abruptly. 2 collector items available per scene. I enjoyed this.

I love the Mystery Tales series. This game, however, has to be the worst of the series. Not a horrendous game. Just not too good. I believe the Joker ruined it for me. The cartoonish look was bothersome. The story was far fetched... more far fetched than usual. I loved the hidden object puzzles except for the ones where you need to use the slider to match pieces. I am just not a fan of those. The bonus game was actually pretty good. Lots of collectibles to find. I bought it but probably won't ever play it again.
I hesitated when I saw this game. Have never been a huge fan of this series, however, never disliked it either. This game wasn't too bad. The story was obscure but kept me interested. I loved the HO games given here. Game play was smooth, ran without glitches or lagging. The bonus chapter was odd and the collectibles were sparse. I would definitely go for the SE on this one. The CE just isn't worthy. Mini games were OK but I am not a mini game fan at all. I liked it.

If you've played the other Northern Tales, this one is basically the same with the exception of hidden objects. I have to say this one is my least favorite of the 5. The graphics were sluggish at points and it just was lacking something. Finding those hidden objects turned into a chore because they were so difficult to locate. I do hope they continue to make this series. However, the first 4 were just better.

I've been on the fence with the games in this series. This review is based on the entire game plus bonus chapter. I liked the first Fatal Evidence game the best. This one was lacking somehow. I literally almost fell asleep a few times. This could have been so much better, but alas, it was not. HOS were weird. Puzzles were ho hum. Storyline was really lacking. It seemed to go on and on and on. Te bonus chapter, (don't get me started), was just awful. I was just about ready to exit and delete the game when the bonus chapter came to an abrupt ending. I couldn't even tell you what it was about. Demo this one for yourself. Some will love it, some will not. Personally, not a big fan at all.

I love the Dark Romance series. Even though the games are on the very easy side, there's something about them that holds my interest and I must buy one as soon as it comes out. This latest game was very good. Played the whole game over a whole day. Lots of back and forth. This one took some thinking, however little, but some :) Game explanations were a little on the rough side, but I do love their HOS in these games. The bonus chapter was kind of weak. I'm still giving this a 5 star rating which doesn't happen often. Please put your favorite game where the space is provided. I love looking up older games that I haven't played and checking them out.
Took me awhile to play this one. I don't like to write reviews until I play the entire game. This was pleasantly surprising. Something very new and different and it really kept my attention, even through the bonus chapter. There are the usual MH symbols to find plus collectibles. I sure hope they come out with a series for this game. Due to the current pandemic, I've been playing many many games. I was resorting to the old games I have stored up. So glad I took the time and played this one.
I briefly played the demo and thought, why not? Well, within 10 minutes of play after I purchased, I deleted the game. This had to be the worst, if not one of the worst, games I have ever played. I really dislike how the cursor was shown and really everything about the game. I will never play another puppetshow game. Also, glitches within the first 10 minutes. That's not acceptable to me.

I'm amazed at the rave reviews, which is the main reason I bought this. IMO this series has been done, finished, done again, and over. It's the usual save 3 souls. Nothing new at all here, but the story line is utterly awful. The bonus chapter, for me, was glitchy and kept booting me out so I ended up just uninstalling and ending my play. It kept booting me out and taking me back to the beginning of the bonus chapter, so I can't give an honest review of how that was. Fairly short game. Honestly, I was happy it was over when it was. There were some morphing objects to find, but that's about all.
