I just love Domini games and this is no exception. Lots of bright Halloween colors and lots to do. They have a counter for your morphs and other objects so you don't miss any. I thought the mini games were challenging, but I'm not a puzzle person. Loved the HO scenes. So varied and fun. I didn't find this scary at all, just a whole lot of fun !! Let's all try to list our favorite games where the space is for that. I've found a lot of awesome games by looking at other suggestions !!
This is my second time playing this game and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time. There's a little bit of everything going on in this one. Unique puzzles, interesting HOS, mixing potions, trying to figure out who is good and who is evil. It's not a cookie cutter game, that's for sure. Some parts I really had to think about what I needed to do next. This developer has put out some amazing games, such as Tales from the Deep, Enigmatis, and a bunch of other stand along games. If you haven't played this one yet, give it a try.

I'm not even sure what to say about this game. Puzzle after puzzle after puzzle. The concept of the story sounds delightful however, put into this game, it is not. I quit in the beginning of the bonus chapter. I simply couldn't take anymore. I can't even explain what's wrong with it. It, to me, is just a very unlikable game. I disliked everything about it. Even Dupin was annoying in this one. I can say I will not be buying the second game LOL. I cannot put myself through this again.
I don't recommend this game.

Chimeras: Tune Of Revenge
An organ grinder seeks revenge, marking his victims with cards. Can you stop him before he destroys the entire city?
I must have purchased this way back when and for whatever reason, just didn't play it. I am on a long break from work, having worked on the front lines since March with covid patients. This game was outstanding. I played it all in one sitting. I loved the storyline, the HOS, the puzzles. I even finished every puzzle which is a miracle in itself. I have a few other in my game folder from this series that I shall play next. If you haven't played this yet, or are looking to replay a game, give this one a try. I thought it was fantastic.

I have been replaying games from series that I've always liked best. Although this game is about 3 years old, it feels extremely outdated. The story is good, but I do think they made the game too long. The story fizzled out but the game kept going and going. The HOS were good except the objects were tiny, and as you progressed in the game, the HOS became more and more abundant. The mini games were just ok. Some I just didn't understand. Not the best Fear for Sale, but not the worst. I do recommend it if you try the demo.

I honestly think I have been playing this game for 8 months. I rarely play one game at a time, instead switching amongst a few. I was heck bent on finishing this game and I still have to finish the bonus chapter. This has got to be the most slow moving game I have ever played. It could not hold my interest, especially when it turned into a weird sci-fi story in the lost lands. I hope to finish the bonus chapter tomorrow so I can tuck this away into the never play again file. Way too many HOS, and again, slow moving, boring ones at that. Not sure why some reviewers are calling this a whodunit game or detective game. It is far from it. I did buy the second game in this series too, so I'm hoping that one is better... much better. I am propping my eyes open at this point after playing the last part of the game. I cannot recommend this.

This is really a 4.5 rating. Wondering when they will make an absolutely creepy game like the old Phantasmat. However, I must have played this back when, but I just played it again and it was good. The story is kind of far fetched but that's ok. Again, we had the loading between each scene. I'm keeping in mind this is an older game. Way too many HOS for my taste, especially as the game progressed. Puzzles were ok. I was able to do some of them, so I guess they were pretty easy lol. This was a long game with a good bonus chapter. I'm really enjoying playing the older games. They are more lengthy for the most part and more "meaty" than the new ones. If you haven't played this yet, give it a try.

Definitely not my favorite Fear for Sale. Loading constantly between each movement. The story takes place in Alaska. Actually the story line was pretty good but seemed to get over crowded toward the middle. Just too much story going on. IMO way too many puzzles and HOS although this was common when this game was released. Emma is just so upbeat no matter what. Oh, need an axe? I'll happily climb that tree infested with snakes and grab it for you all while smiling. LOL. Probably my least favorite game in the series just due to the incohesive story. And the constant loading. Give it a try. You may like it if you haven't played it yet.

I purchased this because the most current game in this series was very good. Oh what a mistake. I think I have played more than halfway and it just has not gotten better. It's an endless snoozefest. The puzzles are silly. HOS are simply collect 10 of this or that. You are all over the place with many different types of characters and I honestly can't keep track of what I'm looking for anymore. You do get a choice of mode to play in. Honestly that's the only positive thing I've found to say about this game. I should have left it sleep where it seems to do very well.

After seeing the two 5 star reviews, I was hopeful. Perhaps this game just isn't for me. I found it utterly confusing. I have not played any other in the series, so maybe I'm missing something. It is challenging in relaxed mode and I had to start over twice. I made it to level 6 and gave up. I found there was TOO much to do. I would get to a statue and realize I had no more stone left or no more gold. I typically love time management games, but this one is just not for me. Everyone has different tastes, so give it a try. You may love it.
