I'm not sure if the change in developer is the issue or if it was just a bad game. The story was so disjointed, I didn't know who was who or what was going on. Too many of those slider HOS puzzles. I really dislike those. The mini games were poorly explained. I am so happy I did not buy the CE as I barely made it through the SE. I was just giving praise to this series, and this game has been a huge let down.
I am liking these Grim Facade games. Wish I had tried them sooner. This one has a ghost bride that you chase all over town before she kills more people. You don't need your thinking cap, but that's why I like these. A nice relaxed enjoyable game. The HOS were fun. Puzzles are always difficult for me, so I didn't finish many. Maybe one day ! I just downloaded another in this series. Hoping it is a good one too.
This series is new to me and I like it a lot. I bought this today with the bonus punch offering. Although it is an older game, it is real good. You can choose custom settings without those horrible misclick penalties or the 2 minute wait for the skip or hint. There's a lot of back and forth and the map only tells you what areas are open. The HOP are fun, most looking for a certain number of a certain item. Puzzles were ok but I am not a puzzle fan. If you haven't played this, give it a try. Can't wait to try another in this series !!
I love this series and never tire playing the character of Emma Roberts. This is a LONG game. Even the bonus chapter is long. The story is interesting although it does get far fetched at some points. HOP are great. There are collectibles and morphs in every scene. Can't say much about the puzzles as I am not a puzzle fan and skip most of them. You do get your choice of custom mode even tho it's an older game. If you don't have this game yet, give it a try.
I bought this game during a sale weekend just to try something different. I saw the wonderful reviews and thought it must have merit. Boy was I wrong. It is short. Very short. Even the bonus chapter is short. You collect coins That's all. coins. The puzzles I just didn't grasp. I'm not a fan of puzzles to begin with but usually I give them a whirl. I didn't even bother. The story was the worst part. I wasn't sure who we were searching for by the end of the game. This get a big NO from me.
Seems 4 Friends ran out of imagination somewhere half way through the game. What started great, ended up repetitive and dull. Even the bonus chapter was disjointed and short. Love this series and cannot wait until the next game is released. I do like the previous games in the series much better though. As usual, if you miss a collectible, you cannot go back and get it. HOP were good and the mini games were fun. Just lacking luster and direction.
I have been playing my older games lately and played the entire Living Legends series. This is a good game, but my least favorite out of them all and I'm not quite sure why. It seems to drag on and on and the story gets lost, something the other games do not. I'm not saying it's not good, just my least favoriate. Lots of collectibles and morphs. A very short bonus chapter with no real ending. Give it a try if you haven't played it.
I love all the games in the Living Legends series, but this one is definitely my favorite. Story is unique. 4 Friends games does games right. Nice lengthy game with a great bonus chapter. Collectibles and morphs. Nothing too hard or too easy. It's just a combination of everything I like in a game. I've been playing my old games as nothing new has come out lately. So glad I chose to replay this series. If you haven't played it, give it a try.
In my opinion, all of the Living Legends games are great and this was no exception. The story was well done with a good amount of HOS and puzzles. It kept me interested the entire game, plus the lengthy bonus chapter. I played this back in the day and decided to replay some old games. It did not disappoint. I recommend this game and really any game by this developer. It's a winner and will keep you interested until the end.
I love time management games and try out each one that is released. Thank goodness I played the demo for this. I felt like this was senseless chaos with no real point. Granted, most time management games don't really have a story or a point for that matter, but this was extreme. Just basically running to grab things, waiting for things to fill up. I didn't know what I was doing most of the time. I didn't like the first 2 so maybe this series just isn't for me. Oh, I miss the days of Island Tribe and the original Roads of Rome/ This is a big pass for me.
