For Domini, this was a short game. They usually put out pretty long games. Not in this case. I liked the game. I had no issues tech wise. I could have done without the big red X's but they weren't that annoying. Not sure why people are saying there are non-sensical tasks. All the HOPA have them. Lots of collectibles, morphs and coins to find. Story was interesting. It kept me entertained and I have a very short attention span so that's a plus for this game. You do get the choice between a HOS or a match 3. As per norm, Domini offers 9 gazillion achievements. Makes me feel good since I never can do the puzzles. At least with Domini games I get a bunch of other achievements :) I recommend.

I love this series of games, thus was excited to see a new one. I am over an hour into the game and I am soooo confused. I started out going to a wedding, ended up in a forest, then ended up speaking to a talking tree. I thought Uwe was getting married, but no. He's dead. I may have to restart this from the beginning because I am so lost it's senseless to keep playing. The HOS are small and dark. The whole game is on the darkish side. I haven't encountered many puzzles yet, thank goodness. I'll finish this after beginning again eventually and comment on the SE version. As for now, this is only getting 3 stars because grandma put a lot of work into the game.

Review after review I see people saying "same old same old, or such and such game is like all others, etc". Well Mystery Trackers changed things up a bit and I think it's a great idea. There are a plethora of MT games that basically are all the same. Here we get a new cast of characters and it works for me. Yes, poor Elf is gone but change is not always a bad thing. My rating is low since this in no way, shape, or form should be a CE. It's short and lacks any extras to find except for a few. I'm not a fan of Elephant games. They have been cranking out the games and short changing us customers for a while now. Overall the story is just OK. It seems like a game they slapped together just to release a new game. The only reason it's getting 3 stars is because they stepped out and made changes or it would be a 1 star game.
I played the first few RC way back when, and I decided to play them all. This one has to be the worst RC of them all. Even the RC's that are just ok are not as bad as this one. There are no collectibles at all. Instead you get rocks to put on a scale at the end of the game to see if you are good or evil based on your decisions. The story was so disjointed I didn't know if I was coming or going. One would think the bonus chapter would be a bit better. No. If possible, even more disjointed than the game. I cannot tell you the gist of the story as it was all over the place. There were not too many HOS and a few puzzles. That's bascally what I recall. I literally couldn't wait for the game to be over I do not recommend this game.

I just got around to playing this one. I'm not quite sure how to rate it. It could have been a very good game, however, there were so many puzzles and so much talking, that I felt I never really played much of a game. I am not a lover of puzzles so that was a turn off for me. The HOS were leaning on being puzzles in themselves. If they had cut out most of the puzzles and all the talking I would have really liked this. I do recommend it as I know many love puzzles.

I usually love this series. I was so excited to see a new Dark Romance. Until I started to play. I know this isn't the place for it, but the game was very glitchy. Lagged and did odd things. The story itself was ok. It was just missing something. The characters were very unlikable. The game dragged on and on and became a chore. I actually liked the bonus chapter better than the main game. I had to LOL when the main game was over and it said "Free Bonus Chapter". Umm excuse me but I paid extra for that bonus chapter. It seems the whole production was rushed and I was running around fanning smoke just to make the game longer. I do recommend but demo the game first.

I have liked all the Grim Tales up until this one. I cannot even count how many puzzles and zoom screens I have looked at in this game. If you're going to live in a castle, clean once in a while. I found the game very disjointed and absolutely boring and ridiculous. The bonus chapter was just as bad. There are morphs and puzzle pieces but I honestly even gave up looking for them. Everything was so dark, I felt like my head was going to explode. This is a no from me.
I don't recommend this game.

I miss the times when games had substance instead of every bell and whistle you can think of. This is simply a HOPA game. I had the collectors edition, which I see BFG doesn't offer anymore. There were some collectibles and morphs but not lots. The story... YES there was an actual story... was good. Game play was smooth with bright colors and great graphics. It's not a very long game but well worth it if you haven't played it yet.

I happen to like Domini Games on days I just want an easy game to pass some time. This game is nearly totally linear and is for beginners. The story really isn't that great. Others have explained it well. There are lots of collectibles, interesting HO scenes, and tricky puzzles (at least for me as I am not a puzzle person). I didn't experience any glitches in the game. It has a long bonus chapter. I do miss Morty the cat. Instead we get a very dated camera that can see past events. Morty was awesome and should be brought back. This is a good game for one of those rainy days where you just want to kick back and play something not very taxing to the brain.
The story has been explained so I'll just jump right into the review. I did not like this game at all. Not the main game. Not the bonus game. It was tedious. I feel exactly like dreamre73 said in his/her review. They ran out of steam. But even though they ran out of steam, the game went on and on. The puzzles were plentiful. I didn't like the HO scenes at all. The game is so touchy, you have to click all over to pick up what you want. It really had a non-ending. And the bonus game gets worse. No steam left at all. I don't see this as a valentine's game or one that I would recommend.
