I only played the demo. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I really like the older games in this series much better. They seemed to have more variety. This one I felt like I was doing the same exact thing each level. Demo this one for yourselves. This won't be a buy for me. I'm still waiting for something, anything, in a game to give me that "this is great" moment. Sigh. Getting bored playing my older games.
I don't recommend this game.

I'll start by saying fantasy games are not my favorite. Actually, they're on the bottom of my list of things that interest me. However, I try to give each game a fair shake as there are some series that are fantasy which I like. I have never gotten into this series. Not sure what it is about it. I usually love Domini games and have most all of them. I felt like I was on a mission to find artifacts, but I'm not sure why, as there was no real story behind it. Graphics were excellent as usual for this developer. The more the search went on without any reason, the more bored I became. I think I nodded off. A few times. This is one where the player will love it or not. Play the demo and decide if it's for you. It's not for me.
I don't recommend this game.
The Emperor's son has a mysterious illness. As legendary healer Daiyu, you're called to the palace to save him, but you end up having to save yourself!

When this series first came out, I remember loving the games. I believe this one was the first of the series. It's such a great game. Lots to do. Cohesive story. Nice HOS and cool mini games. Somewhere along the line, this series went downhill. Not sure when I stopped buying these, but I have quite a few old ones. I'm happy I replayed this one. Yes, it's just that good. Back then, I rarely bought the CE editions only because they didn't include much that I wanted. If you haven't played this, give it a demo. It's and A plus game.
I recommend this game!

We rarely get word games, so I immediately had to check this one out. This is a pretty good game. You start at easy and it gets tougher and tougher. It's by an Indie Developer and I love supporting the little guys so it was a purchase for me. Wish there would have been a freeplay section. That would have been fun. There is a hint button that can be used in 2 different ways... a description of the word or the first letter of the word you are seeking. Give this one a try. It's something different that we don't see often on Big Fish.
I recommend this game!

I have tried 3 times to play this game and just cannot. It is like wading through mud, in January, in the northeast. There is nothing here that is keeping my attention. The gameplay is so easy it's just silly. Sadly, I purchased the CE without trying the game first. I thought it was my mood or my thinking on those 3 tries. Bottom line, I just don't like it. Not a thing about it. It bothers me to leave a game unplayed so I'll probably try a 4th time. Perhaps I need a martini first :)

I do realize this is an older game ... 2016. I usually love the older games as many of them were awesome. This one misses the mark by a mile. I literally forced myself to finish the game. Thank goodness I did not buy the collectors edition. Awful colors. Awful storyline. Awful puzzles and HOS. Awful voice overs. I'm assuming this series is now retired, which is probably a good thing. I played a flop in this series yesterday. Yes, the games are that short. I don't recommend.

I'm beginning to think I'm playing a different game than the other reviewers. I absolutely disliked this game. I had a lot of tech issues with it, but this is not the place to discuss those. I tried and tried to get into the game, and I just could not. This didn't hold my interest at all. Very easy game. A bit on the longer side compared to other games I've played recently. I personally do not like the HOS when you use the object you find in the HOS. There were a few of those. I found the puzzles to be confusing as well as the directions for the puzzles. I do not recommend this game at all.

This is def. the worst Chimeras game I have played and I have played them all I still have no idea what the point of the story was. Story was beyond ludicrous. Game play was all over the place. No cohesion at all. Please play the demo first if you're looking at older games. This one was a dud and it was extremely short.
I don't recommend this game.

I really like this series, however, the developers need to spiff it up a bit. Elephant is making their games so short, I feel like I'm just enjoying the game and ... poof... it ends. Thus the 3 stars. I loved the story line and it could have been developed so much further. Good mix of HOS and puzzles. Interesting game play. Way too short. Bonus chapter was super short. I'd recommend the SE and save your money. I will recommend this game, but keep in mind that it's short and doesn't really get into the story before it ends.

I'm not seeing what most reviewers are seeing in this game. Way too much back and forth, even with a great hint system and a jump map. The story is constantly interrupted with a HOS or a puzzle. No explanation as to why they all have masks or why they have a reunion. This is nothing like the original Phantasmat. That game had substance and you were immersed in the game. This one uses pure shock value and that's about all. I did not care for it at all.
I don't recommend this game.
