Moonsouls was a 2 game series. This is the second game. Only complaint is the game was super short. Probably the shortest game I ever played. However, it was fun. The bonus chapter was great. I'm usually not a fan of Madhead games, but I loved this series which I found odd since I'm not a fan of sci-fi. Really good story line. If you're looking for something different to play, check out this game and the first one in the series.

I played this as the CE and no matter which way you slice it, CE or SE, it's just not doing it for me. I thought "Oh wow. A new series. How exciting!" Alas, no. We have the same old same old, just substituting fairies for detectives, for whatever the subject may be. Same ridiculous tasks. Same HOS. Same puzzles. Same move 2 scenes and get rid of all inventory items, so heavens forbid, you don't need to think too much. I have been existing on older games when they used to be challenging and fun. I have purchased older series and replayed older games and I love them. I could rave about them. But what we are getting now is bottom of the barrel elementary games. I do not recommend.

I used to love this series back in the day when Grim Tales had a family you'd expect in every game, and a great story too. Somewhere Grim Tales morphed into something different with Richard the skull and Anna the time traveler and I got used to that. Then it took another turn into kidnapped daughters who the mom doesn't seem too concerned about at all. I only played the demo as I swore I'd never buy another Elephant game unless they stepped up their "game" and I'm so glad I didn't purchase this one. Definitely not worth a CE and it seems like a very short game with simplistic tasks. I'm going to use my glass shoe to cut glass. Okie dokie. I do not recommend this game.

I have played the other Secret City games and really liked them. This one seemed very different. I found it dull and elementary. Absolutely no challenge at all, even in the puzzles (and that's saying a lot since I don't like puzzles). The game started out very jerky and looked like it was struggling to run correctly, but that could be my Windows 11. Not sure. I like this developer but I feel the game was subpar. The bonus game was just awful. I'd play the demo and see how you like it. I played the whole game and would not recommend.

Welcome to Domini's Halloween game. A jumble of bright colors and monsters. I truly feel like a codger lately with the reviews of the games coming out. This was horrible. I'm not sure who they were trying to appeal to here... kids or adults. Or both. Either way, it didn't work out. When I think of a Halloween game, I think dark and spooky. Real life creepy. Not bright blues and purples and silly looking monsters that look like something off of Sesame Street. What has happened to all the creepy games of the past? It took an Indie developer to put out True Fear which was amazing. Where are games like the original Phantasmat? The original Shiver? And so many more. Instead, for their once a year project we get a cartoonish silly game that does nothing to get one in the Halloween spirit. And NO. This is not the game of the year. It is NOT Dominis game of the year, although NONE of their games are games of the year. You'll be going back and forth doing the same tasks as in every other game they've made. Same HOS. Same mini games. Same colors. Same collectibles. Just please. Someone come out with a game that has substance to it. Something that is meant for adults. Anything. I do NOT recommend this game.

This is an older game (2012) but it is a good one. So much has been said about this game, I won't get into the plot or any of that. Yes, there are more HOS than the newer games have. This particular game has less mini games which doesn't bother me at all. What it does have is a real story. A creepy one too. Game play will make you think. This is part of a trilogy, and although I have owned the other 2, I haven't played them yet. I'll be doing that soon. If you're simply tired, as I am, of the new senseless releases we've been seeing, give this one a go. It starts a little slow but it's great. You will get a map with objectives, but it's not transportable and that's ok. No misclick penalties either. Winner !!!

Well, here we are approaching the Halloween season. The time where a few developers come out with their yearly Halloween game. I feel this should give them a little bit of an extra kick to say "hey, let's make a great spooky Halloween game". Not the case here. Not even a tiny scare. Very few HOS. I thought it was short, including the bonus chapter. I had high hopes for all the build up this game received and the first few reviews I saw were 5 stars (but aren't they always)? This is closer to 2 stars for me but I threw an extra one in there for art and color. I sure hope the other developers come out with something better than this for Halloween. I do not recommend. Do better Elephant.
I debated giving this 2 stars but went with 3 only because it's something different for Domini. If you played one, you've played them all more or less. Yes you will need some fans for "all the smoke or pollen". Yes you will need to oil and clean lots of things for no apparent reason. You'll need the requisite valve which just happens to be lying around. I've been playing a lot of older games lately, and the quality of those games is beyond superior to anything released in the last year (at minimum). I honestly used to have a long list of games I couldn't wait to play, and no longer have a list. This was typical Domini by every standard... HOS, mini games, game play, etc. I'm not going to recommend this because at this point it's irritating to me that they can just keep throwing games out there that are awful.

5-BN does games right. I just played this series of games (theres 4 total). Every single one was amazing. I was actually sad to play the last one. The CE is well worth the extramoney. The bonus chapters are long and actually great. There are many collectibles and morphing objects. Since this review is coming in so late, I won't say anything about the plot, story, etc. except that it was great for each game. If you haven't played this series yet and are looking for something other than "find the wrench" give these a try. You truly won't be disappointed.

I played this after the update to fix the bugs came out so my game wasn't glitchy. However, this game was soooooo slow. I think I drifted off 4 times while playing it. I just got finished played the Witches Legacy series and it was so nice to play long, fast moving, challenging games. Then I finally started on this one. Same old same old. Yes the theme was different but I didn't care for it. The characters were wooden and to me, very unlikable. I really wanted to run the grandson over with the buggy. "I broke the cart but here, maybe this will help"... hands her a cane. eyeroll. Domini always has good HOS. However, I do not like their puzzles. I don't like puzzles at all, but I really dislike theirs. Maybe it's the way the directions are written or maybe I'm just that bad at them. As always, with Domini, color and artistry was great. Some will like this, some won't. I was not a fan. I look every day hoping to see a game, any game, where I can say wow. In the past, my to buy list was so long. Now, I don't even have one. I recommend this after you trial it.
