I just finished the SE version of this game and I must say regarding game-play and flow, this game can't be beat. It had momentum, one task after another. There is lot of back n' forth but what game doesn't have that. The map was great, the hint button, if needed, was great. But the puzzles and HOPs, and mini-games were woven in such a manner that I wanted more of that. This game will not disappoint. Some puzzles were a little too easy and some were extremely tricky, but all were very clever. Devs, great job on this!
However, devs, you might want to have a few more proofreaders go over the script. I do read the material and find that improper grammar and typos often slip through some games now and then. And this game is no exception. One of the sentences involves a Mr. Wulf, a baddie, who sends in miners at night to find gems, and the word keep was used twice (and one with an 's') as follows: "He keep keeps sending workers into the mines at night." I know it's not mind-shattering, but you might want to edit your material one more time before the game is finalized.
The voiceovers were great, but I felt there was too much dialogue. Still that did not deter me from the game because the projects were outstanding. The music was good, too. I'm rating this game a 4-1/2 stars.
The artwork was very good, the manner in which the tasks were accomplished was very good. The movement of this game was swift, and on to the next--right up my alley! Strategy was phenomenal!
Lots of fun things to do in this game. The storyline isn't bad. Brenda, who is a parapsychologist, also works for the police, and sets out to save her sister's daughter, Liza, and other children, who are at summer camp but are nowhere to be found. The storyline also involves a teacher named Ms. Cameron, one of the key characters in this story.
There were a few quirks in the HOP scenes from time to time, like clicking the mouse several times or trying to situate it on the exact spot of the object to complete the task.
This game was definitely not boring at all. Full of fun, and even though some of the scenes are dreary ones, you will find yourself engrossed in the game-play for sure! I highly recommend it!

What can I say, not a bad game, and the Witches Legacy series is quite good, but now I think it's time to move on. I just finished the SE version and I did like the ending.
The mini-games were easy and elementary. Sound was good, artwork very good but not outstanding. But the game flowed okay it's just that it's the same old, same old. Voiceovers were very good, however.
I felt there were too many HOS but for a change of pace, I did play the match game which is offered. So that was a good thing. But this game didn't wow me as I thought it might. For it's genre, it's good.
Well-organized game, flow was all right, game plan is the same old, same old. Mini-games weren't as innovative as some other games.
As for Abigail, Carrie, Lynn, Edward, Elizabeth, devs put them to rest now. It's time! For me this was a good game to play when you have nothing else to do and it's raining outside.
I still recommend it. It did receive some five-stars and that's fine but I don't think it warranted a five-star but a three.

I'm so sorry but I'm bored to tears with this game! It is moving much to slow for me. I love the artwork, music is okay, no voiceovers, some tasks are very clever and you must remember to read all your notes. There is no map and that is fine by me. Makes the game more interesting--reading the helpful notes is pretty cool, I think. But you must read them because they have clues.
There were a few wonderful scenes where the game-play seemed logical enough and then it would peter out. I'm ho-humming my way through it. Some of the tasks are elementary. The HOS are good, not great. I favor the mini-games quite frankly. I just can't get into this game for some reason. It's just not for me, folks, but I do intend to finish it! So sorry! It does have its moments though. However, I have to rate this game a two-star.
Also, having to click my mouse more than twice to move an object or connect it to an object doesn't help the matter. The thrill is just not there!
Nonetheless, I do recommend this game because you may find it to be perfect for you. To each his/her own!

I actually expected young Kevin, the gifted one, to use more of his special powers to help me out in my quest, but then he would have made it too easy for me to complete this phenomenal SE version. Plus it wouldn't have been as much fun or as adventurous!
You are Samantha Evans, the social worker, who is out to protect and save Kevin from a particular politician, who is seeking him for his special powers. He's a real cute kid, too. And there are other interesting characters involved as well. It's quite an adventure to say the least.
The voiceovers were great regardless of the lip-syncing. Could be the English dubbing was off a bit. Doesn't really matter.
Big Fish, this makes five games in a row now that have won me over. If anyone complains that there aren't any good games to play, then I have to say "they're nuts!"
Legris and Alwawar, what an amazing game! Bravo to all involved in developing this spectacular game! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! I should have waited for the Big Fish discount for the CE version. Perhaps, I'll consider doing just that and see what the Bonus Game has to offer. Without giving away any spoilers there is more to the storyline than meets the eye.
I never got bored once playing this game! Very intelligent tasks, and awesome graphics considering the subject matter. The HOS, which were far and few between, consisted of silhouette items. The tasks and mini-games are phenomenal and very clever, and there are loads of them to figure out. The game flowed like a charm and fast, too. The music was wonderful and not one bit distracting either.
Oh, yea, without a doubt, I highly recommend this game! Don't think too hard about it, try it out! I really loved this game!
From traumatic events in the real world to a dreamscape world of obstacles along the way, as the husband struggles to make that connection with his beckoning wife. This game started out rather slow, but I can honestly say that I loved it! Very unusual in every way, and a very touching, and intelligent storyline. I loved the game plan and play. I'm not familiar with these developers but I hope they create more games and progressive artwork.
The tasks were spaced out extremely well and the FROGS were quite interesting without being annoying. You have a 5-compartment inventory, which stores fragments in each compartment, and when completed, serves a specific purpose to complete its own task . I really loved that! The items seemed small though but they weren't difficult to find.
You had tasks to achieve and all without a map, mind you, and then you move on to the next scene. But it all made sense. A very logical game. Well-planned, and well-organized. The game flows rather well, too! Right up my alley!
I did get all the photos and all the cat's toys, which was really neat. The artwork consisted of real people, real scenes and then, of course, you have your dream world. Some of the scenes consisted of industrial buildings, and lots of tools and equipment to find; but not to worry there are other lovely scenes in between. At first, I wasn't sure I was going to dig this game because I do love my visuals, but I found myself becoming more and more intrigued with this unusual concept.
It's amazing how the human mind will react to acute trauma and the stresses of life, and these developers captured that quite well in the story. Very touching, endearing and real!
As for the mini-games, I cannot tell a lie, I skipped a few. The ones that seemed real easy were challenging, and the ones that looked hard were easy. I think this game is worth playing again, but you need to play without distractions.
The artwork plus the real world scenes weren't what I am used to but combined it made for a rather cool mix somehow. The music was very good, especially the song at the end of the story; and the voiceovers were wonderful. The persons playing the couple were quite good-looking. What is the outcome? I suggest you buy the game and see for yourselves. I highly recommend it!

This is such a beautiful, inspiring game! Bravo, Elephant Games! Give yourselves a big pat on your backs! I'm almost at the end of this SE game; and folks, as adorable and cute as the characters are--mostly cats--I can't stress how wonderful this game is! I've played hundreds of dark and gloomy, very clever games, I might add, whereby I've rated many of them a 5-star, then comes along this game--well, it has renewed my faith that there are some developers who really do listen and care about what we reviewers think. They have delivered the best game I have played in 2015. And as we're coming to the end of this year, I can't think of a better game to play than this one. I think I will buy the CE and keep this in my collection for always. It's a wonderful change of pace!
After I play my games, I uninstall them. If you were to ask me about their storylines, I wouldn't be able to tell you. As for Christmas Stories: Puss in Boots, I will, indeed, remember it and will keep it on my computer for always, if possible. LOL! The storyline is exceptional and refreshing for a change!
It's also refreshing to play a game such as this one. I'm glad I bought it. If this doesn't uplift your spirit, then, with all due respect, you're one cold fish!
It may seem sappy or too easy, but the gist of the story is about love, and, in my opinion, it's about fear. I usually play the harder mode and did so with this game. Yes, there are many easy mini-games but let me tell you, there are some tasks that aren't that easy and it will take ingenuity on your part to figure it out, again, depending on the level you're playing. I love the HOS and how the mini-games are spaced out among them.
The artwork is stunning; the music is quite beautiful really, and the game-play is flowing; again, just the way I like my games to be. Silly or not, this game is surely the best in the series. And it's the best game, as far as I'm concerned, that I've played thus far! It has it all--voiceovers, artwork, music, game-play, storyline, the works! I love the kids' voiceovers; love the characters; the tasks, everything about it! There is a lot of back n' forth but you do have a good map and hint button if you need it.
One of the mini-games, cute as it is, requires you to move the themed parcel to the conveyor belt. I think I may have worn out the belt but I didn't give up. Perseverance is the key! So many other fun things you must retrieve for the characters, too. You'll have a side-kick, helper named Simon the cat, who will take on Puss in Boots, as a mini-game. Great fun! Also, you'll find out the reason why Puss in Boots did what he did!
There is one tune in the game that I'd love to be able to download, it's so pretty!
A visually stunning, well thought-out game! This is definitely a family game and one that I'm sure you will enjoy! I wholeheartedly recommend it!
I recommend this game!

I've just completed the SE version of Haunted Legends:The Secret of Life, and let me tell you I had the time of my life playing this game! It's one of the most original and creative games I have played in a long time!
Truly well-crafted game, programming was excellent, puzzles, interactive and unusual HOS, mini-games are amazing. You stomped me a couple of times, devs! Absolutely a delightful, fun game!
ERS, your strategy and planning of this game is phenomenal. Your graphics, though not as sophisticated, lacked many of the bells and whistles that other developers offer, the artwork was wonderful, nonetheless. The attention to detail with the mini-games and puzzles were outstanding. However, in accomplishing some of the tasks, for example, you have a crowbar, a boarded door and window--all I needed to do was focus the crowbar (even from a distance) at the window and door and voila, the boards are gone. Whereby, with other games, you lift the boards, pull the nails one by one, blah, blah, blah. You concentrated more on the strategy of the game. The map was very good; hint button was good if you needed it.
The music was great, sound effects as well. Voiceovers were wonderful and I loved the ending of the SE, which prompts me to buy the CE. Worth trying and buying.
I'm tickled pink that one of the characters actually left the healer some cake and cupcakes to munch on throughout the game. Very thoughtful and clever! Next time add some fresh, brewed, strong coffee! Go easy on the cream, some sweetener, preferably raw sugar. Oh, I like a smidgen of Anisette added to give it that extra oomph! LOL!
The game was rather short but who cares, I had so much fun playing it! The storyline made a whole lot of sense. Also, I enjoyed the choices that were given the healer to take and the fact that we could respond yes or no to the questions that were asked of us. The interactive HOS were interesting; I very much enjoyed searching for items in books. The tasks were organized is such a way that it made the flow the best I've ever encountered. Very strategically done, devs! That's exactly what I look for a in a well-managed game.
Bravo, devs! Bravo! If you enjoy a no-nonsense game, fun and intrigue, this is the game for you! I highly recommend it!

I'm halfway through the CE version of the main game and I'd like to stress that this should be rated MA due to a some of the content in the storyline. I've come across a couple of scenes, too, that are not meant for children to view period! I know it's the 21st century, but to you parents and guardians, please be aware and control the situation.
For game-flow, I give it a 4-star. Storyline has the same old creepy stuff but a slightly different twist.
The game-play is innovative, extremely clever, and brilliant in some cases. However, how can you be stuck in the Dovecote, for instance, (like in a hole), one minute where you need to make a repair but to accomplish another task, you're able to transport yourself out of there to another area. Game-plan is off kilter somewhat--out of sequence. In fairness, though, I've played some other games from different developers where the game-plan didn't always follow suit either.
That aside, the mini-games and puzzles are truly excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed making the recipe for the fertilizer! Ingenious! The HOPS for the better part were great. The graphics are not crisp enough for my taste; music is good; voiceovers are very well done.
Rocking horses are easy to find, but as for the morphing objects, I seem to have found a few by accident. I'll see what happens as I continue the game.
The map is very good. Developers, you are extremely clever and you're one of my favorites. I give you a 5-star for the puzzles and mini-games but for the overall rating I'm giving the game a 4-star. Naturally, I recommend this game for mature audiences only.

I'm Here is one of the tunes that was written for this game. Really cool. What a journey that was! Very intriguing storyline, one we've heard of before, I'm sure, but to rob the souls of innocent women for one's own gain is criminal in more ways than one. Although D'Morten felt his actions were valid was it really love or obsession, oppression and possession all because of his love for Adele.
The gameplay was inviting and truly exciting. I loved this game. The HOS were varied and interactive and some of which were that you had to match opposites. A few of the items were hard to determine, small and hidden very well but if you can stick it out without using hints, you're all the better for it.
Some of the mini-games were easy and there were a few that were challenging. You had a mix.
I collected all 20 portraits and only 19 of the 21 morphing objects. You can go back to find them but I was too caught up in the game as usual.
I played the entire CE version. Loved the Bonus Game equally as well as the Main Game. Lots of tasks to complete and for the better part made a lot of sense. The game-flow was right on. Just the way I like it. Big Fish Games/4 Friends Games, bravo! I'm giving this game a 5-star regardless of some of the quirks in the game.
The music was exceptional. I didn't expect any vocals but was pleasantly surprised by a woman singing I'm Here! If you wish you can save the whole soundtrack to your computer. I also liked Lost Memories. The songs as with any other game are repetitious but very pleasing to the ear.
The artwork was stunning. The voiceovers were superb. The cut scenes were great. Sound effects were awesome.
Completing all the tasks were wonderful; at times though if you didn't have the mouse on the right spot, you'd have to click over and over again to accomplish it. Just one of the quirks of the game.
I highly recommend this game and by the way I don't think this is just a Chick's game at all. It's great for the guys as well. Again, Big Fish, you did good on this one!

I'm two-thirds into this game and I'm loving it more and more. Mind you, it started out very slow and I was getting worried there for a while but then it was smooth sailing. I wanted to give this game a 4-1/2 stars, which I will explain my reasons why below, but I'll splurge and give it a 5-star because Big Fish does not offer 1/2 stars, and to be honest, this game deserves more than a 4-star. It's that good!
My review is based upon the SE version and even though I've not completed it, I wanted to give my review while my thoughts were still fresh in my mind.
BLAM devs, you are ingenious! You've created some tasks I've never played before and they're so creative and lots of fun to accomplish! I don't want to give away spoilers but your method in creating a concoction for the pollen antidote from the Florist Kit is innovative and different from any other developers' methods, not that theirs isn't as good. This game is different! I'm very impressed, devs!
I won't go into the storyline because you've read it before from other expert gamers, but you must buy the SE at least. The only glitch, or perhaps it may not be glitch depending upon one's computer/laptop, is that there was a 5 to 6 second delay between scenes. Also, one of the mini-games' strategy was unclear to me and no matter how hard I tried to complete it, I had to skip it which I hated to do because I was on a roll. It's the only puzzle I've skipped so far.
There are several very, very clever mini-games, HOPS, a well-balanced variety of tasks to complete. I like the cut scenes very much; the graphics are great; voiceovers are wonderful. There is a character in the game that reminds me so much of Russell Crowe from Les Misérables, almost the same type of get-up, I kid you not! I do have quite an imagination but you've got to play the game to see for yourselves!
I customized this game to suit me, I don't like sparkles and all that jazz but I do like a very good map and this one is good. I think I only used the hint button once. The puzzles and mini-games are challenging and some are very easy, too. Devs, I appreciate the fact that it didn't take an hour to complete a task for a certain horse! Good on ya', devs!
You have the option of making the level harder than usual and I often pick the harder mode but not the hardest yet! But I usually enjoy reading the text. As long as it's not too wordy, that's fine by me. I rely on the helpful text and a journal if applicable. This one does not have a journal.
Do you ever notice, too, the things that people put in their purses in these games! Just a general example: Lipstick--check! Brush--check, check! A monkey wrench, check, check, check! LOL!
You will be collecting a lot of items for your inventory, but I was down to maybe four, one of which looked like bird seed. Well, it wasn't bird seed but for the life of me I kept trying to give this item to the bird even though it tells you what the items are if you move your mouse over them. Foolish me! But I insisted he needed that specific item because he had something I really, really wanted to complete the task! Patience is a virtue and eventually he got what he wanted and so did I. LOL!
As another reviewer mentioned, it seems the more games one plays the easier it gets or perhaps the devs are becoming lax, but I think it has a lot to do with the game-plan; and after playing over a hundred or so games, you do become much more experienced and quite skilled. This game is very well-organized and rational for the better part, that is. Game-flow is foremost and utmost important to me--without that, it won't work for me.
The mini-games in European Mystery: Flowers of Death are new and different. Bravo, devs! I was fortunate in getting this game at a great discount from Big Fish. Without a doubt, I recommend this game!
