Same storyline as usual, with some of the occult which I'm really not a fan of but this seems to be the norm. With that said, I give this game a 4-1/2 star rating because of the balance of activities, thought-provoking puzzles, most of them I solved, didn't miss an HO--there are 14 achievements, I achieved 12. The graphics were fantasy- type--very nice--voiceovers were excellent, and synthesized music, which was redundant, but good. Your usual sound effects that weren't annoying as some can be, the beauty of which you could turn the sound off if it bugged you; and there is a journal with a map incorporated into it, which takes you right to the spot if need be. Didn't need to use the Hint Button, but I suggest if you want to know what you may have skipped as far as inventory items are concerned, check the map and in this case the exclamation point signified that the area was completed, and the question mark signified that you need to search for an object. This game flowed very well and as i wrote above it was well thought out. A shout-out to the developers! I played the collector's edition and I'm in the midst of playing the bonus game, which is a plus. I don't need the wallpapers, and the screensavers, and whatnots, to me it's not necessary; nonetheless, it is offered. There are three modes, casual, advanced and hard. I played the advanced mode. Some tricky spots and HOS with interaction, silhouettes added in there. Lots of fun and it seemed like a long enough game to me, but I don't keep track of the time as i get lost in most of the games I play. I'll leave that detail with those reviewers who spend the time giving thorough ones. God bless them. Anyway, I highly recommend this game. Lots for your money. Once again, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I played the entire SE version and I have to write, though there was no map, there were notes and/or a journal that you could follow and a hint button, which was helpful. I didn't use it that much but when the need arose it came in handy. Yes, you go back n' forth, but what game haven't you? I really want to give this game 4-1/2 stars because of the flow, and the many puzzles and HOS which were pretty good. You're on a mission to save three children (3 separate stories with the same warlock) from the snares of the Warlock. It was quite fun and I loved the ending because often times you'll go through 5 to 7 hours defeating the enemy to have him/her reappear! Once you get rid of them, they should be gone. Bye!! Begone forever!! At least for this SE version, the ending was good. I say, have a new villain for the sequels, or trilogy. I have no idea what the collector's edition offered as far as extras, but this SE version was very good and quite enjoyable. What it boils down to is having a balance of HOS, puzzles, strategies, adventure, graphics, music. The voiceovers, along with the text, was good. For inventory items, at times you needed a second object to collect to complete its task, but again, no big deal as everything fell into place. I chose regular mode, which was actually challenging enough as many of the puzzles/activities were pretty tricky. Aesthetically, the artwork/graphics were good not excellent, but in the HOS/junk pile, the items were easy enough to find except for that last one or two--you really had to search. One item was a disk but something told me to search for a CD. But that's what makes it fun, if you're in the mood, that is. I would highly recommend this game. Enjoy!

First, make sure that you download the updated version of this game. I played the full version of Grim Tales: The Bride. Well, where do I begin. Loads of stuff to do in this game. It should have had a map because went back and forth but the areas were organized in such a manner that it was not difficult to get around. The good thing though is the majority of the inventory items were used in pretty much the areas you were dealing with but a map would have been more feasible. The puzzles, in my opinion, were very challenging, and there were many, some of which I skipped because they were a nuisance to me as I wanted to get down to playing the game and keeping in sync with the flow of the storyline, and a couple of others because I didn't have the patience in solving them. Lots of HOS!! Sprats??? Cone? Which cone? Pine cone or ice cream cone??? Mushrooms or bones anyone? Graphics were good but not exceptional in my opinion. I've seen better. No voiceovers. Music was not bothersome. The ending was too abrupt. I played the advanced mode and all in all I liked the game. You do get quite a bit for your money in this game. I recommend it.

I've played so many games that I cannot remember one from the next at times. And I'll leave the details about what this game entails, storyline, etc., to those great reviewers who have the patience to do so. I'm giving this game a 5-star, even though I'm 3/4 through the game. Phenomenon: Meterorite is innovative, clever, a huge variety of things to do and the objects in your inventory, save but a few, you will be using right away. Extremely clever game and it flows. I lose patience with games that are somewhat chaotic. The introduction is great; the graphics, in my opinion, are very good (not excellent) but you are able to find the HO's. Mind you, the artwork is not bad, I just prefer beautiful countrysides and mansions, and whatnot, but you will be taken to interesting places and developments. Bravo to the developers of this game. Very well thought-out. One of my favorite and fun tasks was inserting pieces of stain glass to complete the picture. Not the same old 'roll the wheels' bit to complete a picture. I felt this game had a slow start but then 'she' rolled! For most challenging games you need to have a good mind-set. It's a game where everything eventually falls into place. For me this is pleasurable. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Blue Tea Games brings us just about the best games ever! A visual work of art! They never fail us! I'm half-way through this game (SE), Enchantia: Wrath of the Phoenix Queen, and I have to tell you it's nothing less than outstanding in my opinion. I'll leave the specific details to those wonderful reviewers who have provided in-depth reviews for this game. They certainly had the patience to do so. The illustrations are beautiful; the music, although repetitive, is great; the sound effects awesome. It's such a pleasure to play a game that you enjoy. I don't find it boring at all. The three levels are casual, normal and hard. I'm playing in normal mode. I often play 2nd or 3rd levels. The puzzles are not terribly hard, no HO's other than finding the objects that are illustrated making it a 'whole' new item to be used in the game. I have to be in a good frame of mind, and not too tired to figure out any given puzzle or I'll just skip it from time to time, and that's with any game I've played. This is truly a keeper. Kudos to the creative team who came up with this one. I highly recommend this game to anyone. Sheer delight!

This game was excellent in my opinion. I bought the standard game. The storyline was superb. I wasn't too keen on the ending though and I'm hoping there is a sequel, thus the reason for a 4 instead of 5 star rating. Living legends: Ice Rose had outstanding artwork, graphics, special effects, great soundtrack, repetitive but great! Lots to do, pretty decent puzzles to work out, and you could skip if you wish. I played the game in advanced mode but still when a game such as this one comes your way, buy it. It's well worth it. Trust me. Everything about it just flowed extremely well unlike so many others that have you going through a maze even with a map. The HOs were crisp and interactive and fun actually. This is a type of game where you feel a sense of accomplishment unlike some others that bore you to tears and you can't wait until it's over. Not so with this game. No voice overs but the script was great. As a comparison, Hound of the Baskervilles, Sherlock Holmes, was loaded with VO's and as great as that game was, there was too much dialogue. I recommend Living Legends: Ice Rose very highly!
