Way to go, Brave Giants! You're awesome! It's so refreshing for a change to be playing a game about the life of Jesus when most of the games out there are about witches, demons, dark mists, green mists, monsters, ghosts, you name it! I have over 250 Big Fish games and this is a game I will play over and over again and will neve tire of it! I purchased the CE version and am so glad that I did!
Aside from the scripture from the Bible, the graphics are lovely and very colorful, but the game option category called details are often hard to see at times. But so far I've gotten them all and I don't use the hint. This game has its challenges, too, but they're repeated throughout the gameplay. It forces me to push myself to play those puzzles I'm not always fond of but am getting real good at! LOL!
I love finding the collectibles which is the cute angel in each level and it's not always easy to find either. But the cool thing is you can go back to the category you played and find it just in case you missed it, without replaying the game. is very relaxing actually and you can play at your leisure.
I'm thrilled to pieces to be playing a game about the life of Jesus. It is truly divine and wonderful! Thank you, Brave Giant Games and Big Fish! Bravo! I highly recommend this game!

Just purchased this CE version and started playing it and even though I'm just at the beginning of it, I had to stop by and submit my review!
What an exquisite game in every way! I just love everything about it--the flow, the storyline, music, special effecits and sounds, the voiceovers!! More importantly, the graphics are stunning! Just stunning! Elephant Games Developers, you have outdone yourselves! You really care and read the previous reviews! You listened!
I'll let the other experts explain in more detail about this game--they are so much better at it than I am in that respect. I highly recommend this game, and I love, love, love it! That's all I can say at this point in time. I usually wait until the completion of the game to leave a review when I can, but I just had to share my excitement and give this game a 5-star rating across the board, and a two thumbs up! Way to go, Elephant Games Developers!

Wow! What a great game! EIPIX Developers went above and beyond on this one! Dead Reckoning Silvermoon Isle CE is in every aspect perfect, in my opinion.
Now, there are the regular reviewers who give more informed reviews than I do and I'll leave that to them for you to peruse. As for me, I love great game play, stunning graphics, realistic movements of the characters, artwork, music, voiceovers, tasks, strategy, and a wonderful storyline. They're all here and I'm so glad I purchased this game! I'm two-thirds into this CE version and loving it. It's a well-organized game, too. I use the map and often the hint button as a transporter. These developers thought of everything!
There is so much to do and the mini-games and the interactive hidden object games are cool and fun to accomplish. I love finding the stars. Sometimes I have to remind myself not to forget them. I usually play in custom mode and don't need hand-holding.
Way to go, EIPIX Developers! It's a great, flowing game and I love collecting all the evidence. Thank you,

I'm not a grandma but I love, love, love the idea of having a grandma and grandchild connection! Yes, it is adorable to me! Like I said, I'm not a grandma but I don't see what that has anything to do with the price of apples!!! Whether they use a detective, auntie, cousin, sister, brother, whatever! Don't forget to add the grandpa Five-BN!
Before I buy a game, I always check the negative reviews first and at the time there were three reviews, all 5 stars. I'm going to wait until more folks play the game! My bad, though, because I should have played the demo first rather than delve right in to buying the CE version and the discounts are getting smaller and smaller for non-members!
I usually check HeavenBound7729 and pennmom36, and dancemom1, including a few others' reviews because they're usually very reliable sources for me. But as one other reviewer stated, we're all different and have different tastes. I have several other Lost Lands games I've purchased and I must say this game is very, very good. It is a very challenging game, which I like, but to me the game strategy in this one has fallen short of its glory in other aspects.
The graphics are beautiful; the attention to detail is awesome; the characters are realistic but the items that we have to find are so tiny, as well as the collectibles, that I find this extremely frustrating and I've taken off 1-1/2 stars because of it. Very disappointing. I do have good eyesight to boot! I'm half-way in this game and will continue on but I'm not as gung-ho about it. The storyline is kind of' interesting, nothing to write home about.
As for the morphs and collectibles, I love those if you can find them, they're so tiny or muted within the scene. At least give us a zoom feature, developers!! The HOGs are innovative but once again the items are hard to decipher. The items you collect in your inventory will give you a description of them. That's a good thing.
The cut scenes are stunning and very clear but many of the tasks are all over the place, in other portal areas, and though I like the idea that there is no hand-holding, but going from place to place and back again over and over again, is not my cup of tea. Others may like it, I don't. I'm sorry too that I bought the CE version. Had there been an SE, that would have been a better option! I have over 250 games I've purchased from Big Fish and they seem to be slacking in producing more HOG/Adventure games, which is sad. I guess some developers have given up on creating better games for the game-players.
I do read the scripts as well and there are a couple of errors here and there. Not a big deal but to me it sticks out like a sore thumb.
So, in essence, I'm giving this game at this point, a 3-1/2 stars. These developers are innovative and detail-oriented. I like that. But at least in your graphics especially in HOG scenes, rather than give us a panoramic view of the scene, at least change that so that we can at least see what we've got. Incidentally I have a big screen laptop so that's not the problem.
Good job, anyway, developers. To the folks who are interested in perhaps buying this game, please play the demo first! I believe a reviewer, sunnyglow, always advises us to do so. Follow that person's advice! Lesson learned for me!

I'm so into this Christmas season and into this game. Sure it's mostly a cookie cutter from the others but there are a couple more surprises to look forward to. It is much more festive this year like when you purchase an item it shows up as decoration in front of the Christmas House in the scene, I believe it is West Lake Drive. I was hoping to see a Nativity scene item to buy with my points but so far I haven't seen it, as I am more than half-way through the game.
I love the Christmas carols--the golden angels, the items to find, which are sometimes really hard to find, searching for that cute snowman, as for those camera shots, those can be tricky but I always manage to find them. I'm proud to say I've played every Christmas Wonderland game and so far not once used the hint button, but if I were timed, I'd lose big time because I do take my time trying to search for those hard to find items. Speaking of which, some of the items are hard to make out and many of them are positioned in the craziest places but that is what makes it intriguing to me.
My least favorite of the puzzles or mini-games are jigsaw puzzles (ugh), I actually completed two of them but I'm to impatient and oftentimes will skip those. And there's the puzzle where you have the image but you have to move a specific piece of the puzzle either left or right, up or down to complete the image. Ugh! Other than those, I love everything else!
One other thing, in order to unlock more games you must complete this game in Extreme Mode, which I don't think is fair to those of us who have purchased this CE version. I believe it was Christmas Wonderland 10 or 11 that I completed the Extreme Mode but went over the time limit since it is timed, (I hate to be timed) but I still completed the game. However, I was not able to play the extra games. But if those are the rules, then so be it! I still don't like it!
Even so, I love this game and I will play it again and again and am giving it a five-star rating! Well done developers! Well done!

No need for me to elaborate here, Friendly Fox is one of my favorite developers and they never disappoint. The only minor things are ollecting pieces to complete a task is redundant and at times the dialogues' font was often in dark blue against a dark background. You could hardly see the script. I would have chosen much lighter colors for the font.
The game offers a whole lot for the buck. I just completed the entire CE version and not once was I bored. You can save the music to your devices if you wish. I chose to save Midsummer Night which is rather nice. A couple of the tunes I have heard in many other games before but no big deal.
Great job, Friendly Fox developers! I highly recommend this game.

I just completed the entire CE version and I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. Domini Games devs are one of my favorite devs because of their ingenuity, the various fun tasks, and very, very clever HOPs and minigames and puzzles. You have a plethora of cool things to do. That's what I look for in a good game.
As for the storyline, at least it didn't involve demons, witches, black or green mists, and such. The majority of the games I have played these many years involved the good guys and gals (you and I) getting the bad villains. It is what it is! For me, this game was challenging enough--not overly--very entertaining. There's always room for improvement but I think Domini Games devs are getting the point!
I loved the game flow, the graphics, the voiceovers--great transporting map. Nice job, Domini Games devs! Nice job!
I managed to collect all 15 of the detective objects; 15 of the statuettes, and 77 of the 78 chess pieces. My only disappointment is I was hoping to be able to go back and find the one piece I missed. Usually, after you play the bonus game this feature is often offered, but not in this case unless I overlooked it. Even so, I'm glad I purchased this CE version.

Well, there's your brother, Neptune, the Witch, Jones, Ayrine, and the mermaids who aren't all that friendly, to be honest. They call this place Sunshine Island. More like storm clouds to me! You're there to reunite with your brother for a celebration but instead, you're met with a curse. The islanders have been turned into either salt statues or monsters.
The power of the Witch can only be broken by the power of Neptune. I believe I'm two-thirds of the way into this great SE game. I love Friendly Fox devs and they did a splendid job with this game. Bravo, devs! I do read most of the reviews especially the negative ones, and I respect everyone's opinions, but I must say, I love, love, love everything about this SE version. I'm kinda' sorry now that I didn't purchase the CE version.
Needless to say, the strategy, the mechanics of the game, the game flow, in my opinion, are spot-on. The logic of the tasks is so much better than some other devs' games I've just completed. For me, this is what I call a great game--great storyline, wonderful graphics, special effects, and sound effects are cool, the hint button can be a transporter and the map is very effective. You can play this game in various modes and-or levels. I like to customize mine. Oh, the voiceovers are wonderful, too.
The hidden object scenes are interactive and there is a variety of super cool things to do. I love the minigames and puzzles and there a quite a few of those. What I like most is when you have a task to do, most of the time, you can complete it right at the scene without having to collect multiple items to accomplish a task. Bim Bam Boom! Done! No nonsense and you move on to the next one. My kind of game. Great job, Friendly Fox devs!
Technically speaking, there are no glitches or sluggishness in the game, and so far it's smooth sailing, which is a big plus! I'm not bored and look forward to each task and minigame which you can play easy or hard. It's up to you.
I'm using my convertible laptop-tablet with a mouse to play this game, but if you're using the touchscreen or stylus pen on your phone or tablet, good for you because there is one minigame that requires you to move the central glowing dots to reproduce each symbol shown on the scroll. You have to select and drag the dots. Well, I tried using the touchscreen and the mouse. Both work very well. Just be patient. It is tedious. Very, very cool indeed!!!
Playing this game, for me, is so satisfying and fun. I highly recommend it. Again, great job, Friendly Fox devs!

The game was technically sluggish; the strategy was mediocre, voices were good, graphics were good but the occultic, ritual same old, same old dark story was not my cup of tea. The puzzles and minigames were okay and when I purchased this game I thought they were going to be as great as the previous game I bought from these devs, but it was not so. I did skip the ritual junk and played the Match 3 games which I enjoyed.
Lack of logic in the completion of tasks--multiple items to complete an item--that sort of thing. I was getting bored with this game but I stuck it out. I got all 15 of the books, and ritual items but only 68 of the 70 dollars, and after playing the bonus game I expected to be able to go back and retrieve the remaining 2 but no dice. That should be part of the feature in all CE versions. In this case, even with the discount (which is getting less and less for non-members these days), it was not worth the money, I'm sorry to say.
But I like these devs and their series of games; they do need to improve on many of the features though and I hope that they are listening to the reviewers and will work on some of the issues.
I had to click several times on the right spot of the item in order for it to work; the lack of concrete instructions on some of the minigames was not good. I enjoyed the morphing and I did complete the entire CE game. Domini Games Devs are one of my favorite devs because to me they are known for their cleverness and not being a cookie-cutter type of developers. But this game fell short of the glory for me. I'm only giving it a 3-star rating.

I just completed the entire CE game and once again, the pros outweigh the cons. I've given the Level of Challenge category a 4 instead of 5 because of the illogical tasks and steps that the reporter had to take in order to complete a task. Big Fish should have a "logic" category added in the individual ratings. I can understand why some of the reviewers were frustrated regarding this matter. For instance, why did the reporter have to go through all that work to end up using boots for a couple of the tasks, or a ruler to unscrew the screws, or find the glue to repair a horn to scare the crow away? The reporter could have just screamed at that silly bird! Domini Game devs' logic is insane, but these crazy devs have a method to their madness. I managed to complete all those tasks but I must admit I skipped a couple of the minigames. I should mention, too, that I found a couple of grammar errors. By the way, if you don't like listening to the characters speak, you can always skip the dialogue.
After all those annoying tasks and the back n' forth business throughout the entire game, I realized that as frustrating as it was, the game still managed to flow quite well. Everything else though was perfect. I did get all the 70 stone tokens; all of the 15 newspaper clippings; and all of the 15 furniture figurines.
What makes this game so special and unique to me was the amazing and incredible minigames and puzzles. Ingenious Domini Game Devs! Ingenious! I thoroughly enjoyed those and looked forward to playing them. Another great feature these devs offered was the Match 3 Game.
The storyline was excellent, the voiceovers were wonderful, the graphics were really lovely, the music was great. This is yet another game that I thoroughly enjoyed playing regardless of the negatives. Many of the mini-games were very challenging, and there was such a wonderful array of those. Just loved it!
The map was a wonderful transporter as well as the hint button, and, of course, the hint button could be used just for hints, too.
The Bonus Game really rocks! You have to apprehend the moneylender who is a murderer. Of course, you have help from others along the way. I must say, this particular CE version gives you a lot of bang for the buck. I highly recommend this game! Awesome job, devs!
