Anyone know why this TM game is a CE? How does this vary from the other TM games in the series in terms of paying twice as much for a very similar game.
Don't get me wrong, I like the game and the challenge is pretty good- making sure you have the right resources to progress through a level etc.. BUT why is it a CE?
I will wait for the SE and then compare the two to see what if anything has changed.
The puzzles piece pickup is the same as previous games -there are some extra finds in some levels, at least according to the demo. Otherwise the game is exactly the same as the others in the series- pick up resouces, chop stuff, build resouces units, clear paths, collect crystals and gold and do the requirements for the level in the time allocated to get stars.
So I cannot recommend this game at this price- wait for the SE!
I don't recommend this game.

Graphics are pretty good, Storyline is a bit jaded - princess ill, cured by evil bloke, engaged to be married to evil bloke, you - invited to wedding and you're a princess too! Wow! Evil subtones and ill intent - not just the kingdom but......???
Based on the demo only - which was quite short....
There appears to be something missing from this game - yes, storyline is a bit naff (poor in parts) but there is enough interest there to keep you going. Strange things happen that you don't quite expect and not resolved in demo - so you must buy the fuill game to discover the secrets.
Good gargoyles - and quite difficult to shoot when you eventually get the right arrows!
But is there enough for a CE?
I would say "NO". The collectibles are stamps (2 in the demo) 24 to collect. But not sure they do anything but open the bonus chapter.. Usual achievements, wallpaper, music , replay HO and puzzles. Don't appear to be extra puzzles/HOGs in CE edition. Maybe I'm wrong.
With just a bonus chapter as real extras - I will wait for the SE.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is ok. It revolves around the family cursed for whatever reason and plagued by werewolves who try to capture all and sundry.
Artwork is ok just not really high quality. Music is ok
In a CE edition, why do they still offer artwork as wallpaper and music replayed??? Does anybody download the wallpaper from one of these games? And use it as wallpaper? It expect more from a CE than just a bonus game and poor collectables of other monster types. So I guess I'm going to wait for the SE instead.
The aiming of the silver bullets at werewolves involves tracing a fgiure with your mouse! What? Why? And for the second one you have to do it three times!!!
I always got the feeeling that this game could have been better thought out and was rushed to completion. A good example is the watchtowers device to protect against the werewolves' invasion. You have to do so many obscure things just to open the device only to find that it's a piece of rope that you light to pass fire down the line to the towers. Well ok but how is this a device for re-use? How did one get the rope from the main secret tower to the first ignition point? Very poor logic.
Lots of back and forth - probably too much. Some of the challenges (minigames) are quite tough to complete (in the demo). Otherwise it's a bit too predictable but with plot holes... why did the sentry dissolve? Why did the ghost figures die in the way they did? Is there more of a backstory explained later? Why, if the lord(count) has power to protect the town, did he not so so and how is his curse helping or not?
Maybe some fo this is answered later in the game so I will probably get the SE; I just don't think the CE is worth the extra dosh.
I don't recommend this game.

Yes - it's true I didn't go past the opening scene.
1. There is no voice over so you have to read the "supposed" english text at the bottom of the screen and there's quite a bit of it!!
2. Translation, translation, translation.... I've no idea if the game is good or not. The clumsy, awkward and inaccurate translation left me so frustrated. I closed down the game after the introduction cinematic and the gibberish of the "leprechaun".
3. the text is in a strange cursive which capitalises odd words for no good reason - maybe they are in Russian, I've no idea but in English it looks very strange and makes reading the text more difficult than it should have been; especially, as there is no voice-over reading it.
By all means try it for yourself, it might mean something to you but there is no way I will even use a credit on this awful attempt.
I don't recommend this game.

A rather strange little game with only a windowed option.
The premis - disappearing people in a small town- now , where have we heard that before? You masquerade as Derek, the man with the strange misplaced accent, where you meet a french lady with whom you converse. Apparently, this lady has lost her brother amongst other people who have gone missing. You set out to investigate.
Memo : static characters appear when they interact with you but they do have a voiceover. Then you start to notice the most amusing (but probably unintentional) mistakes in the game. Click on the jewellery box in the first scene, it says you need a hook to reach it - ok fair enough... but click again and it says "you need something in your tool" That made me smile. Then you discover a "HINT buttom"!! And a Plier! and a Scissor! and then later on a Snack symbol ( no not Mcdonalds or a candy bar (US) or sweet symbol but a SNAKE symbol!!! Also you are asked to "Put on the key to make something work" It means place the symbols in the correct place! I am sure there must be many more in the game later on but I really don't think I will part with any money to find them!
Rather stange progression through the demo... you go back and forth a lot and it is easy to miss some things that you need to do something with or pick up and use elsewhere. The hint doesn't always help - often it shows you what you need to do if you had everything but you missed something along the way and therefore you cannot complete the thing the hint is telling you to do! Descriptions of things vary - quite early on you go to the "middle of the river" but you don't get wet feet. Also you enter a "resident's house" for no apparent reason apart from the fact that you can and it seems this resident has a piano room- no other rooms just a "house" and a "piano room"- How odd! Later you need to break a window- find a rock or a stone, brick maybe? No, you need an AXE!!!! It keeps telling you that Merlissa (the french lady and the missing person's sister) is in danger of being taken but if like me you got to the port without everything to progress out, you saw her being kidnapped way before you get the messages!
This seems a dated game both in execution and progression and the translation needs a lot of work to make it a reasonable mystery story.. Towards the end of the demo Derek sails off into the sunset by standing upright in a small dingy - really? and the boat glides away without even raising its sail......
All in all, a big disappointment but it did make me smile; though that was probably unintentional.
I don't recommend this game.

OK Based on the demo - which I didn't get to the end cos I'm stuck with no idea what to do next!
I thought this might be a good game as a SE but was soon rather disappointed.
It's eastern european made I would guess but sort of indicates that it is set in the USA. Actors some of whom were rather wooden play the cut scenes and videos. Yep videos - not DVDs - could it be this old? The old classic US car in the opening scenes would not be right for videos either! Sheriff (that's you) attends a call about a hold-up at a colectors store!?! This after the opening scene which comes as a bit of a surprise as it seems quite normal...ish. Voice-over as actors in English but obvioulsy filmed in another language as mouth movements do not match - nowhere near! OK - I was prepared to overlook that but some of the videos and interactions leave much to be desired. The girl in the basement is far from convincing and the videos cut alarmingly in and out - but seem to carry on exactly from the last place but from a different viewing position.
It all revolves around a crystal found buried in a chamber of some ancient civilisation- discoverer is allowed to take this home without any analysis of what is is made of or what is could do. Really! Which scientist or explorer would do such a thing? And he even allows his young daughter to hold it! Bad move....
Spelling mistakes as you would expect from a foreign translation; voices often wooden - obviously not the original actors or probably not actors at all - maybe some people down the pub or something?
Plot line - erratic at best - did I care? - probably not.
Would I buy it? Nope! expecially as I appear to be stuck with no clue as to how to progress - hint is no help in many of the instances I used it!
Could have been so much better but isn't!
I don't recommend this game.

Strange little game - I played to end of demo but honestly, I really don't know why!
The dialogue was stilted to say the least - Sarah, the main protagonist, voice was so awful as to make one cringe. "Ok I read this line now?" must have been how it went on the recording. Characters float or slide in from the side in a most erratic manner and then remain static until they zoom off again. The small items aren't recognisable at all - some are so small they could be anything at all. An they keep on coming. Liked the fact that you had to manipulate items found in some of the HOGs to complete the scene.
Storyline - passable but I've no idea where it is supposed to be going.. Surely, the idea of a demo is to entice you to purchase the whole game not confuse you?
Other errors... driving on the right hand side of the car in Germany... well, it could be possible but where had she come from? With an accent like that probably the UK but drive all the way to Neuschwanstein? Unlikely.
Oh and mentioning Neuschwanstein - wouldn't it have been better to get ALL the characters to pronounce it the same?
Neu as in new pronounced Noy.... oh well, they can't get everything right I suppose!
Not enough to keep me playing or buying, it has been deleted.
I don't recommend this game.

I tried the demo but I deleted it fairly quickly.
I played quite a few levels , some more than once so I gave it a fair crack of the whip. Premise of game - action to release blocks/bubble/stone at similar coloured stones to clear board.
There is no backstory whatsoever - there were some strange graphics at the start but no explanation as to what they were... after that there seems to be just 80 levels of bubble/stone/block deletion.. Slight change of tack in that it wasn't timed but you achieve stars depending on th number of moves and seemingly the number of blocks deleted and chains of moves. You scored points that were converted into gold - but for what purpose? No idea whatsoever.
Graphics are cartoon-like, music the usual background stuff and as there is no back story - no voice overs or dialogue of any kind. Scrolls appear at the start of each level giving advice and information but otherwise , that's all there is to the game.
Game deleted.......
I don't recommend this game.

Well, it could have been good....but, when you fail to get the three stars in early levels of the demo even on a replay, it doesn't bode well for the rest of the game.
Some levels you have to replay anyway to work out what you are supposed to do- surely, this defeats the object in this game?
Didn't like it enough to purchase.
No casual mode so up against the clock and the game makers sense of progression.
So not for me but some might like it. Try the demo and find out!

Quite a few people have complained about the movement of the screen to acccess other parts of the game. This I found to be part of the challenge and appeal of the game. You learn to collect certain matches to boost the keys at the side of the game wihch allow you to jump about the board etc.. In any case, the matches you make contribute to the possible upgrades you can buy
It's a match 3 game with items you need to collect to complete a level with a back story of a ruined village that needs repair and runes to complete the whole story.
Each level seems to have larger and larger fields to discover and play with sequences to earn extra points/articles. Bonus tasks revealed at start of each level which help you progress - you get the upgrades quicker!
I bought this soon after I played the demo so I recommend trying the game. It's a sort of match 3 with strategy added.
