Very colourful graphics and good interaction with items in each scene made me appreciate this Alice in Wonderland and Christmas tale. Difficulty seems about right with the hearts and queen game throwing me a little bit. It is an interesting storyline and although there is a lot of back and forth, the map gives a fair amount of clues as to what is where. Collectibles, morphs and puzzles pieces in the scenes to collect, add to the game play.

A rather dated point and click to find hidden objects in a scene which could have been anywhere. Characters slide onto the screen at each change of scene with no spoken word and then disappear again. Why are they there? They have no bearing on the game whatsoever and are only relevant to tell you where in Acapulco you are supposed to be. I gave up after 5 scenes are they are all pretty much the same, you get a list of objects to find in the scene and that's it. No real variation, nothing else to do but click continue to the next scene.
So for a dated game with little variation and challenge, I give it one star.
I don't recommend this game.

Sorry, I've deliberately misspelt "point" to make one. This games consists of HO scenes which just appear with no logic or explanation followed by a puzzle games (of varying types) as you follow a line around a board until you reach the finish line! That's the whole premis of the game. It's supposed to be about a famiy but they only appear as peripheral icons in a corner of the puzzle sections. They don't move or interact with the player at all.
The main problem is the misspelt words on the HO sections. Some are quite obvious "pinguin" and "Lyra" but others are quite obscure but you can work them out. "Pincette" is Tweezers!
Also clicking on hidden objects is hit and miss, you have to click carefully and exactly to get the object.
I notice that Big Fish joins in the misspellings in the description of the game "Reply your favorite levels".
I cannot recommend this game unless you are a masochist.

The game is ok and is a follow-on from others in the series. However, why is this a collector's edition? It costs nearly twice as much and gives you what extra? some wallpaper - oh lovely (sarcastic mode on!) maybe an extra level? It cannot see how these types of TM games can justify having a collector's edition when essentially the game play and end of the game is exactly the same. In HO games, you get a least an extra bonus game/chapter and morphs or collectables within the Collector's Edition version. I've never considered artwork or wallpaper/music as reasons to buy a Collector's Edition. I tried the game and quite like it - seemed to be at the right level of difficulty after the first few levels. Have deleted it as I wait for the standard version.

I reveiwed this as a Beta Test and it had a number of bugs in it. Some have been fixed but this game is still in need of tweaking.
This version of the game is very slow to load and change scenarios. I sat there watching the circle slowly move round before the scene loaded - this is much worse than on previous versions. Also the game is more difficult now as you have to wait for a rescuer to be free to appoint tasks, previous games allowed task appointment in advance.
The challenge is ok but you'll find it very difficult to keep getting three stars.
In my opinion there is not enough in this version to justify paying twice as much. Wait for the SE and possiby buy on a free.

This is nothing new... In fact, as the English is diabolical in the storyline and descriptions, I found this game to be not worth spending time over.
Same old story - Father missing blah blah... Daughter now grown up and finds (miraculously) Dad's old map!!. Each scene is relatively similar - pick up food, water, gold, wood etc.... Gain an assistant by upgrading camp etc.... blah... blah!
No - surprisingly enough, I don't recommend this game

When I first played this (demo version), I forgot that this series does not like full-screen, especially if you've got a big monitor! Be warned that you will have to force the game to close and re-open it and change the game setting to windowed to be able to play the game properly. Otherwise this is a challenging find object game with extra puzzles thrown in after each HO scene. Some of the objects are quite hard to spot so maybe not so good for small children to play. Then their eyesight might be better than mine so try it and see.
Music is very repetitive and each scene has background sounds on a loop. Without the full-screen issue and the annoying music it would have got a 5 star rating.
Not really a story apart from you supposedly get to visit various ports on a cruise although you see very little of each one you visit!
Various trash (rubbish for the Brits) objects to find on each HO scene and special shadow objects to find also to add to the challenge.
Not a complicated game but if you like testing your visual acuity, this one is for you.

Oh dear! Yet another fake English HOP game. Accents were poor to say the least. And Brenda managed to find the only village in England that drives on the right of the road. Brenda gets on the bus on the bus right-hand side. In England we drive on the left hand side of the road and the driver on the right hand side of vehicles. Bus driver was on the left and door on the right. In any other town/city or country of the Uk, Brenda would have alighted from the bus straight into the traffic flow. Brenda pays for the bus ticket in pounds but strangly a rather odd coin, a 25 pence appears. Really? There is no 25 pence in British coinage. So rather poorly researched and with very little to recommend paying extra for the CE. It took me a while to realise that the bunny figures were supposed to be morphing objects but there appears to be little else that separates this from a SE. Plot seems very similar to many others so with all the Cod english stuff going on, I cannot recommend this game.
If you've played the other Imperial Island games, you will be very familiar with this sequel. Basically it's a match three+ game with building units and buildings to further the colonisation of an island. You will encounter various challenges like pink monsters that eat your squares but can be destroyed by matching next to them or by an array of weapons that you earn and charge through the general game play. Others tests are completing the level by the time level but this can be turned off to play in relaxed mode. Various targets to meet to complete the level, chase off pirates and defeat octopii.
I really like this game, the graphics are loud and colourful and the game play is addictive (assuming you like match 3 games). There is some strategy involved in deciding which building to finance and build first but otherwise it's an entertaining game of match items to complete the level.

Oh dear! How bad is this one....? Obvioulsy, translated (badly) from some East European language, this game has you wincing at the appalling (thankfully non-spoken) dialogue.
I tried to carry on with the game but the game play was not sufficient to prevent me from deleting the game after 10 minutes. This sort of game has been done much much better and with more skill elsewhere.
The interaction in the game play was acceptable but not defined enough to override the language problems. I could imagine later on being stumped by some obscure translation in a HO scene.
Otherwise it's a nothing special find this, use this and HO game.
