I felt transported back into the 1970s, the initial graphics and animation were poor to be kind to the developer. Cartoon blackoutlined static figures with minimal movement and the dialogue went on and on...... Then the tasks - oh dear,. well try it for yourself, I found it very annoying to say the least. And this is a collector's edition, I didn't hang around long enough to see what could possibly be worth twice as much as a standard game. I am guessing nothing at all.

This looked like yet another same-old match 3 game; however, after taking a chance on the game, I actually liked this one. It is a match 3 game but it has some extra bits along with it. The storyline is not great but the game play is quite fun. I played to the end of the demo and will use a freebie to purchase it.

I really don't get the idea of a collector's edition for these types of games.
"The Collector’s Edition includes bonus levels, an interactive guide, wallpapers and a rocking chair!"
Wow! That is definitely worth paying twice as much for this version of the game. Not!
Accordng to other reviewers the guide is pretty useless anyway.
Plus points for the game - Exploding sheep and bushes /flowers disappear when clicked. Harder to find puzzle pieces (they are there just under or in something instead of usual hunt the puzzle pieces before starting the level. Has indicator in bottom left to show if piece found. Rapid spawn buttons which sometimes regenerate as do speed boosts.
Negative points - gameplay is pretty much the same as other in series - not much has changed. Puzzle pieces are sometimes really difficult to find. Animation outside of the levels is non-existent. No real incentive to buy CE version. Only a few extras levels in the CE.
All this is based on the Demo version of the CE. I will wait for the standard edition.

I wondered if the collectors edition was worth the extra; however, I found it great fun finding all the items in each scene (this is the extreme mode available in CE only)- usually 20-35 items in total plus the recyclable items and the wildlife to collect. There is not much of a storyline as it's mostly find the objects in each scene as it goes round the wildlife park. There are 8 extra scenes in the CE version. Plus jigsaw and puzzles accessible from the main menu. As usual there are souvenirs to buy with the points gained for finding each item. I found it very therapeutic to spot all the items. NB some of the recyclable items are quite difficult to spot. I got it on a free so very pleased with my purchase!

I don't normally like T|M games too much; however, I played the first one in this series many times and really liked the gameplay. This one is very similar to the first game but with a rather more fantasy storyline. The challenge is just as hard in my view. You may just switch over into the relaxed mode to find those pesky hidden caches in each level and to discover how to complete the higher levels before the evil gets you (time runs out). You do need to think about what you build and where to build to complete a level and you may need to destroy a completed building to get extra resources to complete in time.

I may be missing something here as I cannot see how this can charge twice the price for what appears to be very little extra. The game is repetitive but is quite relaxing as there is no time limit so there is none of the stress of other games trying to find stuff within the time allowed. Fairly easy puzzles after each hidden object scene which follows a storyline of sorts through a National Park. Extra things to collect are (as per the other games in the series) litter/trash/recyclables and wildlife. this one also has a photopont every few scenes which puts a photo? in an album. As far as playing puzzles etc. again, then just replay the game. I cannot recommend this as a collector's edition when you can just wait for the standard one and get the same game play.
The same gameplay and style of animation/graphics as the Gnomes series of games. Timemanagement with a very poor settings option: Very Difficult (and this is very difficult) or dead easy (does the time ever run out?). The plot is rather far-fetched with taming dinosaurs and a mad professor (are any sane?) and a helpful robot (and his mates) who seem to do all the work. Pick up food, gather berries, build sawmills, food factories, crystal mines and quarries, destroy various obstacles and upgrade buildings. The engine doesn't seem to have changed from the gnomes series however, the difficulty level is off the scale here. Best of luck getting all three stars on the very difficult setting after the first few levels. Why is this a collectors edition? What do you get for twice the price? I cannot recommend this game.

I bought Legends of Rome: the wrath of mars and then wished I hadn't. I won't make the same mistake with this one. It is exactly the same game with the same music and gameplay; the only change is the graphics. It has the same point and click problem on upgrades too; you have to click around to find the one spot on the screen that allows you to upgrade etc..Characters float forward and back in the intervals between gameplay but that's all the animation you get in these sections. The gameplay is exactly the same as the previous Legends game only the names are changed to spare the developers blushes. Surely, they could have enhanced the game somehow? Try it for yourself. I do not recommend it.

I found one problem with this game which is quite annoying - when you want to upgrade a building/facility in your village/town, it is very difficult to find the right point to click on to get the upgrade panel to appear. The upgrade indicator arrow should be clickable or there should be a separate upgrade wndow you can select. Clicking all around the picture and watching the upgrade banner switch from left to right and back again is very annoying and distracts from the game play. BTW you cannot click on the upgrade banner as it moves as soon as you move the cursor pointer. Otherwise it is a quite challenging game and it gives you choices to make on buying building etc to see which bonuses you an get for eliminating hard to clear tiles. I bought the game before realising that the upgrade part was difficult so I am unwilling to recommend this game until this bug is fixed.
