I have patiently tried to download this game since 6 a.m. I'm not gonna lie; I was super excited when I realized that Boomzap had dipped their toes back into the HOPA pond. It may be a fantastic game, it may be a dud, but I'm going to be patient and wait for the download issue to be resolved before judging...(only 1 person was able to play this game? That seems odd)
I'm not upset with Boomzap in the least bit; I know how much work they put into their games before releasing them. Perhaps the issue is that this is a massive 1 GB download (which somehow turned into a 2 GB on the BF game manager queue).
I am, however, annoyed with Big Fish Games! It is their responsibility to ensure games can be downloaded! Boomzap re-entered the HOPA market (after being shafted on the final Otherworld game in the series) only to be devastated with a debut that never happened. By the time BF fixes this issue, the damage has already been done. Members who wanted to play this game Saturday morning have long given up, and the hype around today's new "Collector's Edition" release will fade. The revenue that would have been generated with a fresh new release on a prime Saturday morning has been slashed.
I'm not going to give Boomzap a 1-star rating; they are suffering enough through no fault of their own.
Instead, I've listed some of the fantastic HOPA games Boomzap created in the past...when HOPAs were amazing!
Emberwing: Lost Legacy
Botanica: Into the Unknown
Botanica: Earthbound
Death at Fairing Point: A Dana Knightstone Novel
Death Under Tuscan Skies: A Dana Knightstone Novel
Death Upon An Australian Sonata: A Dana Knightstone Novel
Death At Cape Porto: A Dana Knightstone Novel
Death and Betrayal: A Dana Knightstone Novel
Awakening: The Dreamless Castle
Awakening: Moonfell Wood
Awakening: The Goblin Kingdom
Awakening: The Skyward Castle
Awakening: The Sunhook Spire
Awakening: The Redleaf Forest
Awakening: The Golden Age
Awakening: The Dreamless Castle Remastered
Awakening: Moonfell Woods Remastered
Otherworld: Spring of Shadows
Otherworld: Omens of Summer
Otherworld: Shades of Fall
(BF decided not to continue the Otherworld series, which would have been called The Eternal Winter)

I can't help but wonder why the remaining 3 HOPA developers haven't figured out yet why the genre is dying a slow death. Fans of this genre aren't tired of playing HOPAs...we're just tired of getting the same game with a different title.
Lately, I have been replaying some of my favorite series back-to-back, and I'm still delighted with the genre. Take Mystery Trackers, for example. The earlier games were phenomenal. They had great stories, challenging puzzles, old-school Hidden Object Scenes (the ones that were actually fun), tasks that weren't mundane, and most importantly, you had to roam from scene to scene trying to figure out what to do and where.
Today's HOPAs have forgotten to put the Adventure into the HOPA (Hidden Object Puzzle ADVENTURE!) Finding something and using that something in the same scene is not an adventure; it's just a mundane task that doesn't require critical thinking.
I can see the gears slowly turning in Elephant Games' mind. They ditched key characters in almost every series because it's easier than building and maintaining a specific character. They replaced characters such as Elf, Rick Rogers, and our beloved Richard. They tried to replace these staple characters with a new crew of agents fresh out of high school as if they were trying to appeal to a younger generation. I don't know who is giving Elephant Games advice, but these newer HOPAs don't appeal to most Gen Zers...but the older HOPAs would if they had updated graphics!
Obviously, Elephant Games is starting to see the light because they are finally bringing back these beloved characters. They have to be realizing that their older games had an "IT" factor, otherwise, they wouldn't be tying the plot into Detectives United! If Elephant Games were smart, they would replay their original games first, such as Mystery Trackers: Four Aces, and then go back to the drawing board to put the Adventure back into a HOPA. If their production budget is as low as it would seem (according to the content we now get) then start offering these games on the place that starts with S and ends with team and bump up the price a bit. The alternative isn't sustainable!
With that being said, I highly recommend giving this game a whirl if you are in the age bracket that actually remembers playing Mystery Trackers: Four Aces! I love the throwback story, I loved the return of Richard, and I really enjoyed some of the puzzles, especially the mechanical-type puzzles).  My only complaint is that every inventory item is found & used in the same scene, again, that's not an adventure, it's just another mundane task that requires little to no skill!

Okay, technically, you can't ring this Copperbell because he doesn't have his clapper. Copperbell sets out on a quest to retrieve his clapper from the basement when he discovers a hole in the floor, and the adventure begins.
This is a short game that states it can be completed in about one hour. Although Copperbell sets out on an adventure, this is a platformer game that requires you to use keyboard arrows to move and a couple of keys to perform certain tasks (the game will prompt you to use a specific key) To be honest, a demo is available on the site that starts with an S and ends in Team where you can use an Xbox controller to move with ease.
Copperbell is equipped with a tool to slice through vines and defeat enemy bugs he encounters as he tries to find his way back from the caves below the basement. Finding jars of Fireflies will restore your available lives.
If you like platformer games, jumping onto various flat platforms without falling while avoiding pitfalls, enemies and gooey lava drips, etc., this is a cute game.
I'm really happy that BF is finally branching out with new genres BUT there are so many games available in so many genres, yet they offer the least appealing games, most of which are super old. If they would start offering games like A Tower Full of Cats, BF would be a happening kind of place again!

If you G👀gle this game, you'll literally find about 30 sites offering this game Free2play.
The game mechanics are just like the last 2 games offered, Big Farming Fun and Crazy Cookie. The levels literally take less than two minutes to beat. If you use the available Bomb, Hammer, or Tile Destroyer tools (which, btw, will replenish on the next round), the level will take less than a minute to master.
Why has BF stooped so low with the games offered lately? Offering nothing would be better than offering this kind of cheapo game; it's not like we get free PCC coupons as we did in the past, which allowed us to roll the dice on a questionable game.
This a really bad Mobile to PC conversion, nothing more...heck, even andrew hated the game!

As luck would have it, my latest case will require me to embark on a pleasure cruise! What's that? This is a Titanic replica? Hmm...well, okey dokey, surely they have since implemented better safety measures, so All Aboard!
Well, I haven't been to my cabin yet, so I'll just lug around my briefcase and luggage and do some detectiving...inconspicuously, of course. Dang it! I need a broom to sweep away the debris preventing me from entering this door. (note to self: Remain calm, and keep your wits about you so no one gets suspicious. I'm sure no one will notice me breaking & e̶n̶t̶e̶r̶i̶n̶g̶  sweeping )
Anyone got a crowbar? I was going to buy a newspaper to conceal my detective snooping, but I couldn't help but notice this suspicious wooden box sitting next to the newspaper stand, sealed tight with a dozen or so nails. Whatever's inside must surely be important...don't mind me; go about your cruising business...if only I had one of those fancy hair combs!
Obviously, my client didn't spring for a first-class ticket; from what I can tell, maintenance doesn't pay much attention to the equipment on the lower-class deck. Not only does this ship have a rat infestation, but I've had to find and replace door handles, tape wires back together, oil hinges, remove a ton of goo, and replace several shaped motifs...don't even get me started on the fact that I had to solve complicated and intricate puzzles just to open a friggin' door as if I were working on a mystery case file...now where did I leave that crowbar? (Note to self: I'd better go to the bathroom now, just in case the loo requires a quick game of chess. Let's hope I don't have to play a game of Battleship, tee-hee-hee.)
Does anyone else wonder why they use shaped motifs that are removable?
Well, this cruise isn't floating my boat. I've spent the entire time fixing everything that's broken. I'm so exhausted that I'm seeing dead people now! I think I'll just pin the whole crime on that D$@& who threw my cabin keys overboard and grab a quick bite to eat in the dining room. Crap, I forgot about that triangle puzzle!

Mixo Games has always been a master of creativity, and each new release brings something new to the table. RestorArt is a perfect example of their creative genius at work. They turn ordinary puzzles and hidden object scenes into something extraordinary!
You are an up-and-coming artist who specializes in art restoration. It doesn't take long before your reputation grows, as does your client list. Eventually, you'll restore artwork from local artists in three nearby towns: Maplewood, Brookshire, and Sunnyside.
Each client has a different situation, and therefore, each piece of art will require a different solution to restore it. This is accomplished by solving various puzzles.
🎨PHOTO RETOUCH
This is a Hidden Object Scene in which you are tasked with finding Listed Items, Multiples of Similar/Related Objects, or Items that match a Riddled Clue, such as "A feathered friend's iron-woven castle" or "A nomad's chest."
🎨TORN PIECES
This is my favorite puzzle!! The goal is to restore the artwork, which only shows a few pieces initially, so you'll have to look for any matching details on the available tiles. As you place a tile correctly, that section will blend with the tile you placed and fill in small sections. Therefore, you may have tiles that overlap portions of the art as sections are filled in. It's not complicated, but it is challenging.
🎨BURNT PIECES
This is the same as the Torn Pieces puzzle above, but the artwork has been burned versus torn.
🎨STICKER SEARCH
In the sticker search puzzles, you remove layers of stickers that match the motif of listed descriptions, such as hearts, unicorns, kings, or mushrooms.  Because of the layered effect, you must pay attention to small details. As you remove a category, new categories are added.
🎨STAMP MATCH
The goal is to remove all of the Stamps by matching identical pairs. Just as in the Sticker Search game, the stamps cover the whole scene and have several layers that are exposed as you remove the ones on the top.
🎨COLORING
This is a stained-glass, paint-by-numbers puzzle where you fill in sections that match the numbers shown on the right side. As you complete one group of numbers, others become available, so you can't just click around wildly; you have to search for the available numbers. The stained-glass images are gorgeous!
🎨STUDIO UPGRADES
You will collect your fee after each puzzle/restoration is complete, but you'll also collect coins that appear briefly during most of the puzzle games. You must manually collect the coins with a single click before they disappear. The money you earn allows you to purchase equipment for your new studio. You will also have to purchase a few "tools" during the game as you progress, such as scrapers or specific colors of ink.
🎨CONTENT & COLLECTOR'S EDITION EXTRAS
You will earn 6 Certificates, which are basically achievements. There are 3 different towns with 27-31 puzzles in each town and 10 Music Soundtracks. After completing the main game, you will gain access to 6 Bonus locations that contain 4 puzzles apiece:
    •Jigsaw (choose 28-45-84 pieces)
    •Stamp Match
•Switch ("square tile swap" choose 15-28-45 pieces)
    •Sticker Search

Fellow gamers, please play the Crazy Cookies Match & Mix demo before wasting your hard-earned money and/or credits!
I get that everyone has different tastes, and just because one person hates a game, it doesn't mean it won't be beloved by others BUT...
There are only 25 levels in total. The music is unbearably loud; even when I adjusted my speakers to the lowest possible setting, it was excruciatingly loud. For the first time in my gaming life, I had to turn off the music (there are no volume controls, just on/off)...But that's a minor annoyance—trust me, it gets worse!
This is obviously a Mobile game that has been converted to PC, which is very obvious when the Match 3 board is a long & skinny, rectangular shape. You cannot make back-to-back, consecutive matches; you have to wait for the board to finish making matches. The levels practically play themselves because any subsequent matches continue as the tiles fall into empty slots and make new matches...But that isn't even the tip of the cookie's icing; it gets even worse!...
The goal is to make a specified number of specified tiles, such as 8 donuts, 10 pieces of candy, and 6 chocolate eggs. Large matches are in abundance, yet there are no powerups awarded. The levels can be completed in less than 30 seconds...not because of your matching skills, but because there are so many available matches and the fact that matches continue as the tiles fall into the open cells. There aren't even obstacles added as you progress!... But that's not even the biggest issue with this game!...
The biggest issue with this game is that the level layout does NOT change! (Because this is a mobile app, and that's how they work, with continuous, never-ending gameplay.) After completing the goals, you will earn 3 stars in a pop-up window. Then, the pop-up window disappears, and new goals appear, voila...on the same level layout...which is STILL going through its "self-matching" scenario.
There is a timer that keeps track of the time you have been playing this single, never-ending level; it doesn't reset for the next so-called level. I played the first 10 "levels" consecutively in 1 minute and 45 seconds! If there are only 25 levels, you could easily finish this game in less than 10 minutes!
I'd love to hear your thoughts! Swing by my nature-themed forum to share your thoughts, or just say hello to fellow BF gamers at thewoodsforum.boards.net

Nature Escapes is my favorite series by Tiny Little Lion game studio. The scenes showcase nature at its finest with a vast array of Flora and Fauna. I particularly enjoy the fact that, for the most part, the items to find are nature-related; most of the time, items that don't fit under the "flora & fauna" category are usually decorated in a natural way, such as topiaries or pictures etched into cliffs, caverns, and caves.
Nature Escapes 5 has some brand new features over its predecessors...all of which are designed to help you find your Zen ☯️ as you enjoy the beauty and serenity of nature.
🌱Did You Hear That?
Sometimes, you have to hear the sounds of nature to appreciate its beauty, so a few new options have been added. The Ambient setting simply plays ambient sounds quietly in the background. In the Zen setting, you are immersed in the atmospheric sounds of nature combined with calming music. The Casual setting simply plays a variety of relaxing music soundtracks.
🌱 From Ardous To Zen
You can't have an ambient sound option without being able to choose how difficult or zen the gameplay is, so they have added a Relaxed Mode of difficulty. The Relaxed Mode has no Combo Meter Timer, and the Skip and Hint features recharge very quickly. If you prefer, the Challenge Mode will keep you on your toes with a Combo Meter Timer and a slow Hint and Skip feature.
🌱 I Like Your Style!
Everyone has different tastes when it comes to Hidden Object Games, which is why they have added a few different HO variants. You can switch between standard Listed Items, Scrambled Letters, Picture Mode, and/or Silhouetted Shapes. Actually, there are also "Spot The Difference" scenes as well, but those are considered to be sub-games.
🌱 A Kodak Moment
Each main Hidden Object Scene has a Hidden Flower Photo to collect. Found Photos are converted to Coins, which can be used to purchase various plants and flowers in the "My Garden" section.  Once purchased, you can place the flowers on the display deck however you like; you can even select plants in multiples.
🌱 There's Something Shifty Going On Here
Each Hidden Object Scene (main and zoom zone subscene) has at least one Shapeshifting Morphing Object. Some of the Morphs can be challenging to spot because they morph at a fairly slow rate. Found Morphing Objects are converted to Flowers you can plant in the wildlife in the "Nature Album" section. Each flower planted is equal to three puzzle pieces, in which you drag pieces to the correct square to complete the flower's image.
🌱 What's That All About?
There are 18 scene locations (+6 CE Bonus Locations). Each location has a main Hidden Object Scene with a smaller zoom zone subscene. After completing the main HO scene, you'll play either a side-by-side Spot The Difference game or a Hidden Object Scene across two different side-by-side images. Depending on your Combo Meter score, you can earn up to three stars.
One item in every main HO scene prompts an in-game puzzle related to that particular object. The games vary each time, with sorting-type puzzles, swap-and-rotate puzzles, Tetris-shape placement puzzles, untangling tangled vines, memory matches, pair matching, etc. One of my favorites was a game where you had to place rocks with various lined patterns that aligned with the cracks in the surrounding dirt.
🌱Do you Want To Play A Game?
After completing the HO scenes, you will play a mini-game or puzzle. Every puzzle is unique, and some were quite challenging, especially the heavily detailed images that required you to swap and rotate various shapes within the picture.
🌱More Bang For Your Buck-Collector's Edition Extras
18 Main Scene Levels, +6 CE Bonus Levels, 24 Wallpapers, 20 Plants to purchase/display (My Garden section), 10 CE Plants +5 Dev Plants Plants, 15 Music Soundtracks, 72 Shapeshifting Morphs, 24 Flower Puzzles (Nature Album section), 24 Location Trivia Fun Facts, 24 Native Flower Fun Facts, 5 Paint By Numbers puzzles (Nature Badge section-after completing the game)

Casual Arts developers are Retro geniuses. They somehow manage to subtly add new features that keep the series current and relevant while remaining true to its classic core. They are one of the few developers who insist on quality, even after all these years.

I downloaded this game without hesitation yesterday morning thinking this would be a game similar to the Our Beautiful Earth series. It is indeed similar, but it certainly lacks the finesse and quality we have become accustomed to (at least what we used to expect from BF).
Need For Speed:
There are no difficulty modes to choose from; therefore, you'll either have to have a "need for speed" determination and find items at a breakneck speed or an "I don't care" attitude about earning all 3 Stars.
Need For A Translator:
It turns out that even virtual vacations require a translation app for most of the listed items. Unfortunately, depending on the Need For Speed attitude you chose in the above paragraph, you won't have time to use an app.
Need For A Bullet List:
I read several reviews that stated they found items that weren't on the list. Actually, all items are listed, but they forgot to actually "list" the items; they just threw them all together, side by side, with no breaks or line separations.
Need For Fifty Shades of Grey :
Everything is so blendy. They desperately tried to make the game challenging by using random objects that were similar in color to blend with the background. The jigsaws and swap puzzles were fairly boring because they had very little detail and were all the same color. The "swipe to paint" puzzle had about 6 colors that were all shades of the ugliest tans imaginable.
Need For Creativity-Imagination-Ingenuity:
Wouldn't it be awesome if developers put a little thought into these travel-related games? Wouldn't it be cool if they chose items from each of those countries to make the HO scenes more unique? Has it ever occurred to developers like 8 Floor Games that they would sell more games if they put forth some type of effort? Does 8 Floor care about its reputation? Does Big Fish really think we don't realize that the quality of their games has declined? Does every game deserve a CE status?
I guess I'm just becoming more "Needy" nowadays...I'd love to hear your opinion! Stop by thewoodsforum.boards.net and let your voice be heard :)
I don't recommend this game.
