Ohhh nooo....The truck Lisa was driving to help deliver Santa's toys has turned into candy! (and that's a problem?) The friendly Grandma/Wizards are responsible so you will need to help them so they can figure out the spell to return your truck to it's unassuming state thus saving Christmas. This is a wonderful winterland HO adventure with plenty of Christmas joy and decorations to entertain young and old. The HOS are plentiful list finds and there are lot's of trinkets to find and things to fix as well as helping out the wildlife. This is a great wholesome, and lighthearted game, enjoy!

I hope you are a speed reader, you're going to have to be to read the introduction of this game at lightning speed! There are no voiceovers, no collectibles, no frills, but oddly enough this game is entertaining. The confusion comes into play first of all because I was only vaguely aware of the plot (one of my superpowers are not speed reading) and I fell for the ole...internet love connection, yes of course I'll come to your castle and promise not to be nosy schemes. Then I'm on my own in the castle of love and the next thing I know I'm snooping every corner of the castle, opening safes and finding hidden dungeons, and tip toeing past the giant black widow spider. Then I find paintings of different women around the world that my dear Charles, allegedly imprisoned after breaking their hearts, and I travel through these paintings to help these damsels in distress. The HOS are list finds but they did a nice job with them and the mini games tend to be on the easy side, but some were creative and new. One puzzle required you to turn all the discs red only in the diamond shaped center by clicking different directional arrows. It's really not a bad game, try it.

I'm a huge pic cross fan and this game was really good just not great, perhaps because it came out after Christmas. There are several "rooms" to unlock and each room has several levels to complete with the goal being to earn 3 stars. I will give this game kudos for a couple of aspects. I love the fact that the grids on each game are oddly shaped not just 10x10 etc. and you can go to the shop and get things like an extra mistake allowance or refill the hint meter.

Another fantastic, fun, and educational T/M game. The graphics are colorful and crisp with something new to do in every level. I can honestly say that my favorite part is at the beginning of each level when you get to learn something new about the Empire State Building. You will need to clear blocked roads, and sometimes repair the roads so that the trucks can travel to and from production sites. You must get rid of pesky sleeping actors by shooing them away several times, and send food carts to feed starving actors. There are several different types of material needed as well as several different buildings in this game, and some awesome old trucks to deliver the goods. You will earn 1-3 stars depending on the time it takes you to complete a level, enjoy!

At first I thought this was going to be a boring game for kids, turns out it's actually kind of fun! This game is chock full of fun characters like Captain Hook, The Fairy Godmother, Peter Pan and more! The graphics are beautiful and colorful and there is plenty to do in each scene. The HOS are mostly list finds but also find 10 items of this or that. Lot's of clever mini games, simple enough for kids and fun enough for adults. The one I enjoyed the most was using colored thread to embroider a rug with several pictures to match with the thread. If you just want to chillax and play a fun game then give this one a try, you might be surprised as well, enjoy!

You have been invited to an underwater hotel for the elite and wealthy, with a promise that you will learn who your parents are. You have spent your whole life searching for answers, the only clue you have is a pendant, so naturally you accept the invitation. Things aren't as they seem and someone is trying to keep you from the truth. An ancient artifact was discovered that allows you to experience dreams, any dream you want, but it soon becomes difficult to tell the difference between dreams and reality! You can even bring some things back but, nothing alive! This game has a good story but other than 16 collectible roses, I don't think it's worthy of CE status. The HOS are a mixture of progressive finds as well as interactive list finds. The mini games are fun but nothing new such as turning discs to complete a picture but each ring controls another ring. The beginning of this game starts out a bit slow but the story picks up and clues of who your parents are and who you are become clearer which in turn gets you hooked to learn more.
You thought this would be just like any other investigation. But now you find yourself lost in a mysterious mansion brimming with strange creatures, comatose colleagues, and mysterious tentacles around every corner...

Don't close your eyes, ever again! get ready for the creepy crawlies, and the heebie jeebies because that slimy tentacaled freak, Dr. Blackmoore is back and better than ever. Agent Lloyd has asked for my assistance at 5 Cuckoo street where there is a whole lot of paranormal phenomena occurring at the residence of Dr. Gauss, a psychologist. Strange behavior seems to be the norm ever since the crystal skull once belonging to Morpheus, the god of dreams, was taken. The secret service has equipped us with some goggles that decipher unusual symbols otherwise know as mini games. You have to choose pairs of symbols by matching the last symbol of the first pair and so forth until all boxes are filled and a clue will be revealed. The HOS are mostly interactive, progressive finds but there are list finds as well. The mini game I enjoyed the most was 8 x-rays with crystal skull pictures on 4 different triangles, one of which was taped and couldn't be moved. You could hand one piece up on a clip to free up a space and then you had to pick up one of the triangle pictures and place on a rotation button and rotate until it was in the correct position for completing a skull picture. You can choose your own custom settings of difficulty and the map is located on your computer. If you like games with a paranormal flare then give this one a try, enjoy!

You never knew your father. Your mother was killed by a burglar when you were very young, or was she? Nightmares haunt you every night, horrible nightmares of your mother being murdered over and over and over again, not by a burglar but by something not human, something evil! At first you may get a bit bored playing this interactive game in which you get to choose which questions to ask and which answers to make, you may even choose to remain silent or simply mumble through the whole conversation. This game also allows you to make decisions such as jumping, running or going up or down which is kind of cool. The HOS are interactive progressive finds where you find one item as shown as a silhouette in the inventory, and then use that item somewhere in the scene and then receive the next item. Mini games were new and different, printing out fashion outfits and then dressing a mannequin with a complete outfit as shown on the sketch including accessories. It will take you a while to get into the newer concept style of this game, parts of the game are slow moving, but it is a good change of pace from the same ole same ole. Try this game it's not fantastic but it is enjoyable.

What if one of your ancestors came to you on Christmas Eve and saved your life, would you follow him back in time to save you ancestors? If you choose not to, your very existence is at stake! Wenonah is the spirit of cold, a kind spirit once but now she is full of revenge, for the man she loved, Koturi, choose love over immortality with Sheena. Now you must go back in time and help redeem spirits and stop Wenonah from killing your relatives. There are snowflakes to collect which can be used to custom build a snowglobe. Koturi will give you a magical feather which can be used to enlarge items, and you will befriend a cold but adorable husky puppy. I wasn't really impressed with the HOS they seemed out of place, cartoonish, way to easy and they doubled up on them. Otherwise the graphics are beautiful and crisp. This game has a good story and lots of things to do in each scene, it does have a Christmas theme to it but it's still Christmas time!

Our whole family had fun playing these puzzling puzzles, what a variety! I especially liked the "spot the 20 differences" between the almost identical pictures and believe me it wasn't obvious differences. There are the classic jigsaws, very beautiful pictures that can be done in easy, medium, hard and expert settings. There are also pictures with rotating pieces with the same difficulty settings and in the harder settings several pieces move at the same time. The third group is what I found the most interesting. What a variety, spot the differences, place the reindeer correctly on Santa's sleigh, matching two alike pictures hidden under Christmas Wreath's, finding the correct keys for their matching keyholes and lot's more. It truly is a game for the whole family or for some relaxing times alone, enjoy!
