Don't sail the Seven Seas toward my castle, I'm well defended! I have bought just about every one of these Tower Defense games and I was really surprised by this version which is really beefed up. The levels progress much quicker and the enemies bring on their A game after just a couple of levels. I hate those evil fish that put all my weapons to sleep just as much as those sly little ships that go undetected by going under the water and then pop up at your castle gate! You earn gold with mines as well as for each enemy you destroy which is how you buy and upgrade weapons. You also earn barrels that can be used to buy upgrades such as bigger ranges, more damage or cheaper to purchase, and you can use the barrels to place weapons on areas that only allow you to place a weapon with barrels. (usually the prime spots) Each level gives you 25 lives and there are usually 4-6 waves of attack so strategy is a must, however, you can restart the level as often as you would like to try different strategies. The starting point that the enemy takes is always marked and if you have the wave start before the timer you receive more points. Great TD game, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Okay, I agree this is a low budget no frills game with dark graphics, BUT, there are so many hidden object scenes of all different kinds that I loved it! Every scene has a HOS, some were interactive, some just list finds. Some were "find 12" of the same kind of item such as 12 feathers. There were some that you had to find the item with only a black and white sketch to go by. There were mini games as well, putting different shaped wine bottles in the correct slot or using the correct weapons to stop the angry, wild and very angry animals, bears, swordfish, moose, and boar. The story is about a haunted house, the house chooses who lives or dies, but there isn't a real plot, just hints here and there. I have to review this game for what it is not what it isn't, it is a fun hidden object game not an adventure game with hidden objects, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This game is similar to Bookworm (another great game) with the goal to spell words that link together. You can use letters that touch in any direction, left, right, up, down, or diagonal but you can't jump a letter. As long as you can connect the letters your good to go. You can use the star tile as any letter and you get more points for colored tiles used. Look out for the red tiles that form when you take too long to spell a word, enjoy!

You were just a baby, abandoned, left on the Orphanage stoop with only a necklace as a clue to find your real mother 25 years later. When you receive an exclusive invitation to board The Emerald Maiden with a promise that you will learn the identity of your parents, you set sail for a voyage only the rich and elite can afford! Aboard the Emerald you discover the Dream Machine, near lucid dreams can be achieved thanks to an ancient artifact found and it's energy harnessed, or has it? I think this Standard Edition is the better value because the CE simply didn't have enough frills to qualify. If you like underwater adventures with mechanical gadgets then you're in for a treat, other than the dream portals you enter, you won't be seeing beautiful floral and fauna. The HOS are slightly interactive list finds and most items are easy to spot. The mini games are mostly puzzles such as discs that form a picture, but when one disc is turned other discs turn as well. None of the mini games are new but they are easy to figure out such as playing the correct piano keys by association for example a picture of a fish matches the piano key with a fish hook. After finding several robot parts you reconstruct Atom a robot with a propeller on top and a key fob in front which allows him to access places you could not (I'm still trying to figure out how he stops the propeller and lays on the keyhole how does he take off, won't the propellers hit the ground?) hmm, Enjoy!

I don't understand why this game received such low ratings, I really liked this game. The Adventure mode gives you a story and each day of the adventure requires you to spell words on a pyramid starting with the bottom word which is 9 letters, then 8 letters and the top word is 3 letters. You have 26 letters to choose from and you get extra energy for each letter not used. You also have the option at any time to guess what the word is for extra points and it doesn't use any of your energy, but if you guess incorrectly you have to start all over with a different word. There are bonuses that give you more time or cross off letters that aren't in the word, these bonuses are not available in the classic mode which is just continuing pyramids until all of your energy bar is depleted. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This game may even qualify for a new category because quite simply there are tons of items to collect, and some new and exciting features. I am a fan of out of the box thinking, good or bad (in this case all good) because it's the only way to keep games exciting and unpredictable. This game actually grades you on your overall game experience with points and stars given on basically everything! There are several collectible items, 5 of each item, 100 total, items such as prints (paw prints count too) fruit, chess pieces, statues, cards, art and more AND you get various points for finding these items. The Order of Light has equipped you with a ghost catching device which glows when a ghost is near, you line up the crosshairs with the ghost and click to "catch" a total of 35 ghosts AND you get points for that too. The HOS are interactive list finds AND you get 1-3 stars depending on how many misclicks you have. The mini games were fun, such as swapping colored pieces of stained glass so that no identical colors touched, for a total of three puzzles. Another game I enjoyed was swapping tiles of keys, keyholes, and locks, in order for each line to have all tiles of a single item such as all locks on the first line. To swap tiles you had to move whichever line to the right or left until the tile you want to swap lines up with that lines swapper point in order to exchange those tiles. I truly enjoyed everything about this game from the story, the graphics, and quality to the ghost catcher and the mini games. I wish however that the ghosts moved at a faster and more challenging pace which in my opinion would have been much more fun catching them. You are going to want this game in the CE, all of the frills in this game are well worth the extra cost, enjoy!

This is a fast paced action packed adventure sure to please all the thrill seekers and history buffs as well.Right from the start this game will have you jumping out of fast moving trains to escape the Robideaux family of art thieves and avoid being fed to Baby the Siberian Tiger! As the newest recruit of H.E.L.P your mission is to stop this ruthless family from stealing the Hope Diamond which they believe can cure their father's illness, but things aren't going smoothly and now you're tied up to a chair and trying to figure out your escape plan. The graphics are incredible and the videos are well produced. The hidden object games have a whole lot going on as well. The very first HOS is a 3 part game where you have to find gems that match the shape of sketched diamonds then the abbreviation letters for the periodic table and then list finds. Some of the HOS are list finds, some "find 12 feathers" others you need to find the item that matches the silhouetted shapes. I really liked the mini games, my favorite was matching the bobble heads to the correct body and names. If you are looking for a game with a different story and plenty of action, then you must give this one a try, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Even though I found the Tree of Life (and lived to talk about it) nobody believed me, not even my students! I was beginning to doubt myself until Jonathan's father came to see me, asking me to find his son who had found the portal in the small village of Three Stones, and hasn't been seen since! Naturally I decided to investigate this portal and hopefully locate Jonathan. The residents of Three Stones were pretty spooked by the strange occurrences of the stones ever since Jonathan disappeared, and just recently, Bonnie the beagle has gone missing as well! I discover the two stones needed to open the portal and find myself in a bit of a situation, my arrival has been anticipated by King Demario, for I am to become his Queen! This game does start out a bit slow but quickly picks up the pace once your voyage begins so be patient. There are 48 hidden biscuits to find AND 20 fairies fluttering about. You can customize the level of difficulty and choose whether or not to have areas of interest shown on the map which will also indicate if there is a collectible yet to be found in the area. I absolutely love the HOS, some of which are simply interactive list finds, others start out in a section of the scene and you will need to find the items that match the silhouetted shapes in the inventory, once you find all of the items the HOS moves to another section and yet another after those items are found. After all items are found, a brief description of an item will give you a clue to the final item needed. I will admit that some of the mini games were frustrating, I skipped the one where you had to form a triangle in the middle of 3 discs by moving the 3 discs either left or right. I absolutely loved the original Amaranthine Voyage and I am so glad that this game seems to be just as good, hopefully you'll like it too, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This is a word game in the form of Mahjong tiles with the goal to spell words with the available tiles. Each letter has a number value and every level has a bonus word that gives you extra points. After each level you get an addition to your "zen" garden which starts out as empty land and transforms into a happy place.

I really enjoyed playing this game simply because of the HOS, there is one in every room. You can't put too much thought into this game, the graphics are really basic and there isn't much to do in any scene except play the hidden object game and an occasional mini game here and there. I will say that the mini games are a bit confusing, I had no clue as to what I was supposed to do with the small, medium and large diamonds until I presses the skip button and saw the solution. You can play some games that the murderer sends you on you phone, some of them are quite entertaining like matching falling cupcakes or a game of pong with a skeleton skull and bones. If you look at this game as just a hidden object game then it's fun, don't forget to use the battery on the hint cat to activate him, enjoy!
