My Uncle, Professor Stone has used a hyberboroid ray to break through the Earth's crust to find the legendary lost continent Agartha. Of course things go wrong and we have an explosion instead of a continent! I was really on the fence with this game, I gave it a 4 star mostly for the fact that there a lot of HOS, but even the HOS are simply several random items spewn about the room. The graphics are simple and there are a ton of dialog boxes to read. There are punch cards to find and then you use the punch card reader on them, nothing exciting. In my opinion, this is a slow moving game and if it didn't have a lot of HOS it would be easy to lose interest quickly. Again, this isn't a bad game, it's just nothing to write home about, but the HOS are interactive list finds as well as finding the item that matches the silhouetted shape, so the game does have some entertainment to it, enjoy!

Admittedly it took me several levels to get into this game, I simply wasn't thrilled. Once I began to understand the concept it started to get addicting. The hardest thing for me to overcome was a feature called "swappers" which randomly switched tiles from left to right as indicated by a horizontal arrow. The goal being to make matches of 3 or more tiles until all of the board is beige colored as well as making a specific amount of matches for each resource. The swapping feature actually made the game harder when smaller spaces had to be exchanged by the swapper in order to get the correct tile into the space and if you didn't react quickly enough the tile would go back out! There are also circle rotation buttons and a reshuffle clover. If you make a match of 5 or larger you earn dynamite which can be activated by double clicking. You can buy power ups with the euros you earn. I really enjoyed the mini game of rebuilding which was actually a very blurry puzzle of a building and the puzzle pieces were square blocks and as you place the pieces, the lines disappear as the picture comes together. Don't give up on this game to quickly, enjoy!

The Agency has sent me on a new case to a suspicious "health spa" in the alps. My client Renee claims her husband's mind is being controlled by my archenemy, Dr. Swen. His involvement with the Brotherhood of Seekers in their quest for world supremacy is notorious and I must stop him at all costs! My investigation isn't going as planned and I wake up in a mindfreak of imagination, my mind is being controlled and manipulated, I must find a way to break free! This is yet another great Agency game with an unusual story and twisted graphic visuals as you use your mind control devise to enter the minds of other patients. The HOS are a mixture of finding the items that match the silhouetted shapes as well as putting inventory items back into the scene in the correct place. There are a lot of tricky mini games too. The one I enjoyed the most was typing a name on and old typewriter, however, you had to choose the correct keys, some would type the letter in the exact spot, some had arrows indicating a one or two space jump forward or backwards. This is a great game with that "professional" feel, and if you don't mind the absence of extras in this version it's well worth the SE, enjoy!

Your Uncle finally figured out the sequence to open the portal into other dimensions, problem is he couldn't wait to enter the portal and now he's in trouble. You follow him through the portal into a mystical and stunningly beautiful world, but you soon find out the inhabitants don't want you there. Now you have to subdue three headed creatures, deadly fauna and alien creatures, and search for clues as to your Uncle's whereabouts. There are only two modes of difficulty, casual has lots of help and easier mini games where the expert mode has few hints and harder puzzles. There are 20 morphing objects that are very well hidden and slow morphing (at least on expert mode). HOS are interactive list finds as well as finding the matching items as shown on your list. The mini games are good with the right amount of challenge. One of my personal favorites was trying to match up stone wings onto a stationary bird pillar, if you moved one horizontal wing, others would also move. This is the kind of game that has you wishing you were there and keeps you interested from start to finish, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This is an under the radar adventure game, don't let this one slip past you! I was hooked right from the get go watching the introduction trailer of a small time thief breaking and entering to steal all the silver she could carry. Her accomplice and brother is nabbed by somebody while she climbs back down a rope, only to find herself caught as well. In a lonely cold dark dungeon of a cell she is surprised to receive some much needed help from a total stranger. This stranger explains that he worked with her father and is willing to help her and her brother in exchange for stealing some documents. There is nobody else to help so why not. As a thief you are able to pick ton's of locks and use your street wise skills to your advantage. HOS fans may be a wee bit disappointed, but be patient, they are unusual and although far and few between they are worth the wait! The HOS are mostly silhouetted shapes and some are locked until you figure out the necessary interaction to unlock that shape. Most of the mini games are picking locks, don't worry, they are simple locks, and there are other mini games as well. You will also collect disguises along your adventure, when all items to a costume are found and the time to don this disguise nears you will open up your kit and start to fabricate this ingenious outfit. Each item of the outfit requires you to interact with it until it's just right, and when complete you try it out! As I said earlier, don't let this one go unnoticed because it's certainly an unusual adventure, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

What an appropriate game to play during this Noreaster Blizzard! Someone has frozen the entire town in the middle of summer, including your beloved sister. You arrive just in time to watch her frozen body being kidnapped by a madman who vows to keep her forever, and time is of the essence ( I'm frozen too!). You learn that the weatherman controls the weather, or does he? This is a very entertaining game with stunning graphics and a very interesting plot. The HOS are interactive list finds, and there are several areas of interest in each scene. I will admit that most of the mini games are fairly easy, mostly. The mini game I enjoyed the most was where you had to exchange colored balls on a rotating disc until they were in the correct color matching grid and you could use the empty space in the middle to achieve the goal. I usually recommend the CE because of bells and whistles but this is still a great game without the extras, enjoy!
You came to the town of Brownville, Louisiana hoping to find a new job. But you weren't expecting to stumble upon a strange adventure in a world filled with beauty and danger!

An ole college buddy and his wife invite you to Brownville with the promise of a job. Things aren't right and almost immediately you are warned to leave by a card wielding woman who warns that Brownville isn't safe! You need a job so you meet up at a house of cards and when the boss asks you to play a game of cards, how can you refuse? I'm going to give this game kudos for out of the box thinking. Magic surrounds those cards and you soon realize the stakes are high, you and your friends must all survive in a strange, unfamiliar world, or you will all die! You need to find magic cards and activate them in order to progress to the next deadly level and hopefully win the game. You will find and name a cute purple rabbit/puppy that can help you with some out of reach inventory items. The HOS are very interactive list finds with most of the interactions requiring more than one step. Most of the mini games are new, the one I liked the best was using directional arrows to guide a frog into lily pads with quite a difficult pattern, this one took me a few tries. Again, kudos to the developer, enjoy!

This is surprisingly a fun and addicting HO game. You are given goals to achieve by different people that are helping you get to the Midnight Castle. There are potions to collect keys and scepters to find and a whole lot of HOS which have to cool down after each search before you can re-visit them. You first accept the activity and then scour the HOS to find the parts and pieces and when the goals are met you collect the reward and on to the next. The good thing about this game is that although there are a lot of things to do, the tutorial is good and it isn't difficult to play.

Finally, a time management game with unusual goals and structures available. You can choose timed or untimed and I liked the fact that each level gave you new goals and you have to use strategy in order to accomplish those goals. You need to build factories in order to produce materials needed to build tents, trailers, huts etc. which in turn make money to buy the supplies and hire workers. You need to build greenhouses to produce seeds needed for gardening and making the campsite eco friendly. You will need to figure out a way to balance these tasks, and when to upgrade to complete the goals which can earn you a silver, bronze or gold medal. The game starts out a bit slow but quickly picks up with more challenging goals, give it a try, enjoy!

Dana Knightstone has arrived at the beautiful grand opening of a motel at Cape Porto for a relaxing getaway, or so she believes. Dana has the unique ability to "see" the dearly departed and this ghostly adventure will have you snooping and spying on the hotel owner himself. Dana's visions give her the ability to travel back in time, and hopefully solve mysteries surrounding the untimely death of his beautiful wife, and the man accused of her murder. There are a lot of areas of interest in each scene, however, most actions are predictable and easy to figure out what to do. The HOS are interactive list finds but the poorer quality graphics make the items easy to spot. There were a lot of mini games and I did enjoy solving most of them such as re-constructing the family tree with photos to their correct positions as well as in either a male or female slot. If you aren't a fan of the murder mystery themed games then you probably won't enjoy this game but if you are, this one's interesting.
