I have a confession to make, I never read The Great Gatsby, but after this game I just might! Admittedly this game doesn't have great graphics and it does have a few glitches, BUT, the story is captivating and there are several mini games with out of the box thinking. Turns out that I changed professions, I'm an architect assigned to restore Gatsby's Mansion, but my detective skills come in handy when my best friend Amy is kidnapped by a ghost (no, not of Christmas Past) of Gatsby's past! The HOS tend to be on the hard side because they are on the dark side and items are somewhat small. The mini games are where the out of the box thinking come into play. One I thought was kind of cool was trying to figure out which waiter has a chess piece after several zoom around the room. You can see what the past was like when the pocket watch opens, you will see the room transform from ruins to riches in seconds. The map shows you where actions are available but does not transport you there. I am going to use a credit just to find out the whole story, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I'm a new found fan of Mystery Case Files because of Fate's carnival. I have gone back to play all of these MCF since, and although I enjoyed the atmosphere of Fate's Carnival, this game has the same concept. I love the fact that you really only have to do hidden object scenes and mini games. Each scene is timed and you have to locate the items on the list, that's it, no adventure just scene after scene to please all the fans of this genre. Great game, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Admittedly I had not played this game when the newest Fate's Carnival was released, and because it was such an awesome game I had to play this one as well! Even though this game is older and lacks the bells and whistles of today's standards is is still a really fun game with that carnival mystique. I love the fact that you are just getting to play HOS and mini games. Each hidden object scene and puzzle has a morphing object to collect. The items run a tad bit small and most items are incredibly well hidden, and I liked it! Mini games are either "find 10 combs and 10 razors" or time consuming interactive puzzles that required your detective skills to complete. Bravo, if a player can enjoy a game that is older then it's a great game, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Brilliant idea for a time management game. A misguided spell has taken you to the North Pole and scared away the Reindeer! Now with the help of Santa's elves you will clear rocks and trees to free even more elves. You will plant gardens (snow gardens?) and try to harvest them before the hungry but slow polar bears get to them. You will need to scare away rabid snowmen that the elves fear the most as well as cast spells to grow trees and crops and collect manna potions to super speed up the elves. I honestly had a blast with this North Pole game, enjoy!

All good things must come to an end and I'm super thrilled with this game but also super bummed that this is the conclusion to the wonderful adventures of Adelantado. This is one of the best TM series out there and the graphics get better with each new edition. Plenty to keep you busy, cutting bushes, picking berries and mushrooms, picking up wood and gold and smashing pots that contain goodies. You even get to explore caves in this one! You have your typical quests such as building saw mills, worker housing and more, and you must build watch towers to expand your territories. You will also have side quest from the Indians asking help making potions, mending fences, totem poles and alters. You will find hidden caches of gemstones that give you strength, speed and the ability to understand and communicate with the native people. The thing I like the most about this chapter is all the dinosaurs roaming around. if you haven't played 1 and 2 it's okay, you can still play this as a stand alone game, but I suggest you try them all because they are really fun games, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Another fantastical Christmas Story with beautiful decorations, Christmas candy, presents and shimmering snow. What could possibly ruin this magical Christmas Eve? Well, nothing! Not even your Uncle Ebinezer Scrooge who pleads for your help against unforeseen forces. Embark on magical journeys of Scrooges past and present, and help change his miserable future! Battle against Scrooges evil counterpart who summon pesky minions to do his dirty work, it's all made possible with the help of his good counterpart who can animate almost anything! The HOS are interactive list finds chock full of Santa's, Stockings, ribbons and holiday goodies. Mini games are long but really fun, at first you have to arrange planks of different sizes on pegs with pictures of 3 Nutcracker characters, larger pieces cannot set on top of smaller pieces. After that a scene opens up of a castle and you have to place items and characters on the correct floor, then another scene opens up and tells you a story of Scrooge and you have to interact with different items related to the story. Personally I loved the CE because of all the extra bells and whistles but either edition is exceptional and is a must have Holiday game. Have a Merry Christmas and enjoy!

There is something in the lake, something so beautiful so blissful, so deadly! You are on an investigation to find a missing fiance, Tommy, but what you find are zodiac cards and walking corpses! There are 54 collectible dragonflies and lots of achievements to earn. The HOS are well done list finds and after you find all the items on the list, another list item shows up that requires an interaction such as finding matches to light a candle which burns a cord attached to a zipper. The mini games aren't really new but they did put a new twist to some of them. The one I liked the best were two locks on a suitcase that you had to open one lock at a time by setting 4 springs to the exact settings and the springs would reset if you set any one of them incorrectly. I really enjoyed playing this game however I'm not quite sure there are enough bells and whistles for CE status.
I recommend this game!

I happen to be a jigsaw puzzle freak. I have puzzles hanging all over the place because it seems a shame to throw them away after I'm done. So naturally this is a perfect solution, online puzzles, no gluing, no trees harmed and if you really want to hang em all ya have to do is print them! You can choose the color of background to work on and there is music available but I just play my own from the computer. You can choose to ghost the image you are working on in the background or show the image in the left top corner with 1-3x zoom. There are 4 boxes of Holiday scenes to choose from in an assortment of sizes, however you can choose any picture and simply modify the shape of the pieces and how many pieces you want. Other settings include a hint button, achievements, a magnifying glass and you can auto sort, show border only or put some pieces back into the box to make room. Happy Holidays to all and enjoy!

Mystery Case Files knows how to do creepy right, and this is a perfect example of a game that can draw you in until you feel alone, as if you are actually investigating this abandoned carnival of years gone by. Madame Fate has made her curse your own and you must figure out who the sinister and twisted being is that is trying to kill all of the carneys. Your journey will take you on wild goose chases and fixing almost every piece of machinery in the Carnival. The HOS are interactive list finds full of clowns, top hats wands and magic. The mini games can be a bit frustrating, but they are really cool. It's kind of hard to describe but you will come across several boxes that you need to interact with in the correct order. You may need to flip a switch to expose a feather then you need to release valves to make air blow the feather towards a giant nose until the nose sneezes etc. they are really time consuming but you become so engrossed in the puzzle that you don't notice. The game itself is fantastic, I love the creepy dark vibe of the game. It is a super long game even without the bonus, so it's well worth the money because this is a game you will want to own. I personally love the CE which has a secret room and morphing cards, collectible money to buy luxury items for your helper Isis, Madame Fates cat. I am actually hooked on the solitaire game available in the CE, I love the theme of the cards. There are several modes of difficulty, Easy Kinievel, Swallow Hard, Difficult Detective, Monstrously Tough, and Allister's Watch which has time limits and isn't unlocked until after completing the main game. Surely this is enough to convince you so enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Spectacular amount of options with this mahjong. You get to pick which layout you want for the tiles and you can choose timed or not. There are actually 15 different backgrounds to choose from such as winter wonderland, snowy day (personally I have had too many snowy days of late), Santa, Gingerbread and more. You also get to choose the theme for the tiles themselves and choose a random game or a winnable game. Gotta love all those options, enjoy!
