Sorry but I just couldn't find anything I liked about this game. There were only a few items to find like a laptop, then a cord, then the lights go out and you have to find a generator, then a funnel, you get the picture. At one point I had to find a spade which was in a distant tree then I had to dig sand piles which yielded nothing! The story is basically about decoding an amulet which I'm assuming fortells the end of the world. The cut scenes are simple hand drawn sketches and there are no voice overs just dialog boxes to read yourself, way to slow for my taste.
I don't recommend this game.

I think just about anyone could play this game for hours. The games start out extremely easy and progress to hair pulling status so put on your thinking cap! You are a tiny magnet thus you can only attract metals so you need to be creative and use the magnet to push and pull wooden levers etc. You need to pull gears and drag keys into locks as well as use anything available to push buttons and open gates. Hours of fun, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This game was unique, most pic-cross, mosaic games simply put an X on the tiles you determine aren't needed. With Gemsweeper you use a hammer to chisel away the entire stone which just leaves the tiles needed. I also loved the bright colored tiles they used to form a picture. The game progresses well from tutorial to hair pulling status and if you break a tile that wasn't supposed to be broken you get a time penalty. If you break a wrong tile with a gem behind it, you have to use one of your limited jars of magic glue to repair the gem. Good brain teaser, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

You know how much I appreciate out of the box thinking, so thank you devs for all the extras on this game! There are zoo creatures to find throughout the game, nothing special right? Wrong, find hidden crystals and use those crystals to "transform" your creatures and bring them to life. There are also coins to find and there is a shop that allows you to upgrade your panel, something I have never see done before. You can upgrade the inventory panel, the journal and even the alchemist crucible you receive from Emmett. There are plenty of achievements, some achievements unlock wallpapers. That's just the beginning folks, there are a ton of mini games and a lot of them are either brand spanking new or twists on older games. I liked the bridge puzzle where you had to flip over boards with 6 different levers until you completed the picture. The HOS were interactive list finds and you could opt for a jigsaw puzzle instead. The story is good, you are summoned to your childhood town of Reahin by your best friend Emmett who claims that his wife is no longer dead! Green demons are wreaking havoc on the town and the few citizens you find are blaming your friend Emmett. Hope is not lost, is it?
I recommend this game!

It's Christmas Eve and the decorations are beautiful, everything is perfect, that is until Wenonah the spirit of cold shows up! Koturi, one of your ancestors, stops time (just in the nick of time) and pleads for you to follow him through the portal of time, your very life depends on it! Since Christmas is ruined anyway, off you go, landing smack dab on your own gravesite! Koturi explains that he gave up immortality for the love of his life, Sheenah, but this infuriated Wenonah for she was in love with Koturi. Now Wenonah is seeking vengeance by killing your relatives, which means you will never be born! This is a really entertaining game (more so at Christmas time) but I must admit that I liked the CE better. Koturi gives you a magical feather that is capable of enlarging items such as changing laces into rope. You find an adorable Siberian Husky puppy that will help you out and there is even a mini game to play with him, you have to place 4 bones on a grid to make him choose the correct path in order to find the keys and back out the door. The HOS were the only thing I didn't like about this game, the graphics for this game were beautiful yet the hidden object scenes were simply cartoonish figures and they doubled up each scene. After the hidden object items were found you need to put together a puzzle of the item you would eventually receive. One of the HOS required you to use a dreamcatcher to "see" inside gift boxes and replace the gifts in the correct package. This is another great Redemption, but if you can, go for the CE, enjoy!

I absolutely loved this edition of Myths of the World which delves into Native American culture, the graphics are stunning and the soundtracks simply wonderful. There are 35 Sun Runes to collect and missing pieces of your eagle amulet which helps you to lift the spirits from certain items. You come equipped with binoculars which have to be adjusted in 4 sections right, left, top and bottom. I thought the HOS were very well done and they were very interactive list finds as well as finding items that matched the silhouetted shapes. Mini games are fun such as swapping tiles to create a complete picture. You can choose to customize the mode of difficulty to exclude sparkles or lower and raise hint and skip times. This is a very exciting, well produced game and who doesn't love wolf spirits and Native American folk lore? Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

When I first starting playing this game I thought it was a cute and entertaining game for young kids. Then I quickly realized that as the levels progressed, it was actually one of those games that adults get addicted to! Sala is a salamander/fish (?) in a bubble that you move very clumsily along several narrow paths bumping into walls trying to eat floating jellyfish. Some of the jellyfish are in areas that require you to veer off the path to consume and if you bump into anything pointy, your bubble bursts and you have to either start at the beginning or if you have made it to any of the frog checkpoints you restart from that point. There are all different kinds of obstacles, bubbles with eyeballs that are hard to push out of the way and sometimes they push back, chicks that hatch spinning spike discs, eels that come out of holes, alligators that are relentless but semi slow, you get the point. This game will have you saying, just one more level, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This is a great game for beginners but experienced players might not enjoy it as much. You are camping when a creepy guy jumps out of the bushes, knocks you out cold kidnaps your bride to be, and retreats to an abandoned underground USSR bunker. I loved the fact that every item in every scene stayed true to the time period, everything was old and rusty and everything had the look of abandonment. This is a fairly easy game to figure out and some of the Hidden Object Games can be difficult because of low lighting. The HOS are doubled, repeating with the same scene, but different items to search for. The mini games are fun but not really challenging such as turning straight and elbow shaped pipes in order to connect from start to finish. In my opinion, if you are new at this genre, or want to play a game with little stress then I think this is the game for you, if you need a game with a lot of challenge then pass this one up, enjoy!
Surely you didn't think that the pirates would leave once and for all? Build towers, cast spells, collect barrels of rum and believe in victory!

Don't sail the Seven Seas toward my castle, I'm well defended! I have bought just about every one of these Tower Defense games and I was really surprised by this version which is really beefed up. The levels progress much quicker and the enemies bring on their A game after just a couple of levels. I hate those evil fish that put all my weapons to sleep just as much as those sly little ships that go undetected by going under the water and then pop up at your castle gate! You earn gold with mines as well as for each enemy you destroy which is how you buy and upgrade weapons. You also earn barrels that can be used to buy upgrades such as bigger ranges, more damage or cheaper to purchase, and you can use the barrels to place weapons on areas that only allow you to place a weapon with barrels. (usually the prime spots) Each level gives you 25 lives and there are usually 4-6 waves of attack so strategy is a must, however, you can restart the level as often as you would like to try different strategies. The starting point that the enemy takes is always marked and if you have the wave start before the timer you receive more points. Great TD game, enjoy!

Okay, I agree this is a low budget no frills game with dark graphics, BUT, there are so many hidden object scenes of all different kinds that I loved it! Every scene has a HOS, some were interactive, some just list finds. Some were "find 12" of the same kind of item such as 12 feathers. There were some that you had to find the item with only a black and white sketch to go by. There were mini games as well, putting different shaped wine bottles in the correct slot or using the correct weapons to stop the angry, wild and very angry animals, bears, swordfish, moose, and boar. The story is about a haunted house, the house chooses who lives or dies, but there isn't a real plot, just hints here and there. I have to review this game for what it is not what it isn't, it is a fun hidden object game not an adventure game with hidden objects, enjoy!
I recommend this game!
