This is a match 3 game with a twist, most match 3 games require you to clear away all of the tiles until the background tiles are the same color, not this one. You need match 3 or more in any sequence by clicking and dragging, to allow the purple magic smoke to be released and continuing along the game board until it reaches the magic emblem. Problem is that some stones can't be moved but rather dropped by making matches below, others require to dig them up with a rechargable spade. There are pipes that need to be fixed to allow the smoke to pass through and various obstacles. This is a really fun game that will have you playing for hours.

I'm going to be honest, I have no idea what the object of this game is. It starts out with 2 kids and the little boy is given a horrible speech impediment, how horrible is that? The little sister is then coaxed to enter the sewers alone to save a third unbeknownst character. You either use the keyboard (how archaic) or the mouse to move the princess along, finding treasures in the sewers and fighting rats! This seems like a very old game that has been dusted off because it was long forgotten.

What a fantastic game with a fantastic story! The Guardian Army has returned from the Crusades and are fighting a war to protect a sacred amulet. The Guardians called for the dark side to open, but the dark side shows no mercy and destroys everyone. Only 9 survive and retreat into the fortress, never to return. As the descendant of the Guardians it is up to you to enter the fortress and use the amulet to close the dark side and save Prague from evil. I couldn't help but feel as if I were actually searching this long abandoned fortress myself which is a testament to how professionally produced this game actually is. The HOS were very well done and are interactive list finds. I will admit that I skipped a few puzzles just before pulling my hair out! You will receive an amulet from one of the dearly departed Guardians, which will allow you to "see" hidden clan symbols. I really liked this game and think that the SE is the better buy, enjoy!

This is a cute hidden object game with lot's of interactions. Uncle Ben is in China and someone has stolen some of the animals so Anna agrees to find them before the inspection in just 3 days! You are able to move some items as you search for various items in each scene. My favorite mini game was trying to pick up keys from the bottom of the piranha tank with a fishing pole and magnet but as the key raised up, if it touched a piranha, he would snap at it and it would fall to the bottom again. This game also allows you to replay the puzzles.

This is a hidden object game with many interactive goals. The very first scene has you searching for items by uncovering and moving objects. Then you must put items back into the scene with only a small picture for reference as to the placement. The next scene is even more interactive you scroll between 3 different scenes searching for items and then use those items to repair things. The mini games were good, I liked the game where you had to search for hidden words in a book. Nice game, enjoy!

Well, this games not going to win an Oscar, but I really enjoyed playing. I'm not going to sugar coat it, the graphics are pretty basic and simplistic, not horrible just not top notch. What this game does have is an interesting pirate tale and a ton of mini games, with a dash of hidden object scenes. You are the Captain of the ship that crashes into an island by an unknown green force. As the sole survivor, (or so you think) you need to scour the island for survival and find out what this mysterious green force is capable of. Because the graphics are so basic, the hidden object scenes tend to be on the easy side, but they are interactive and you have the option of playing a matching mahjong game instead. There were a ton of mini games, nothing really new but they were really fun. My favorite game was trying to guide a button down a grid with rotating flags, for every move you make, the flags rotate 1/4 turn and if they touch your button you start all over. Although this is just a Standard Edition, it does have a custom option for difficulty and an interactive map for quickly moving around the island. You will find a macaw named Mr. Gibbons to help you on your journey and you find gold doubloons throughout the island in order to repair your ship. I for one really enjoyed this pirate themed adventure and I think you will too.

Believe me when you are put on the "spot" to find 5 differences within two almost identical pictures, you almost begin to panic. There is a timer and it seems to me that the most obvious differences are the hardest to spot. If you really get stuck on any of the 111 puzzles, you can use a joker or hint. The game promises that every time you play there are different items to spot, enjoy!

Again I don't consider this a hidden object game but this is a great adventure with "out of the box thinking". The mystery continues with Daniel, Sydney, Jess and her adoptive parents, could her mother be trying to contact her from beyond? Each hidden object scene gives you 9 mistakes total before having to start the scene over. In this edition you are to find items that "come in 3's" or "items on tarot cards" and some will have you finding items that are associated together such as chess pieces, kings, jacks and even a knight for example. When a puzzle piece appears you are given a mini game to complete and I must say they aren't exactly easy and most are lengthy. One mini game showed pictures of the characters and you had to take several amulets representing love, female, relatives etc.and place them over the pictures in order to find the connections. After that you needed to place those same amulets over personal items to deduce whom the items belonged and so forth (truth be told I ended up skipping this one) The only complaint I have is with the constant interruptions of video and voice overs telling bits and pieces of this very interesting saga, enjoy!

I don't think this game qualifies for a hidden object game, items aren't really hidden, but it is a different game with out of the box thinking. Some players won't like the fact that the story is given in bits and pieces, constantly interrupting game play, but it is a mysterious story in which you do want to learn more and more. Strange things are happening to Jess now that she has turned 30 and she doesn't know how she ended up in a dark room with a strange and mysterious man who is having her recall all of her memories one tarot card at a time. Jess will give you 3 key words for each area to investigate such as sugar, day, and key. Then you search the room for items that connect such as sugar/pie D/day and key/chain. Some words go before the key word some after and there are boxes on either side with a specific amount to fill. You are allowed 9 mistakes and 6 hints per area before you have to start over. The mini games are good, I liked the crossword puzzle where you had to put zodiac names in the correct slots so that a correctly spelled word is achieved in the horizontal and lighted up slot. Enjoy!
