Daniel and Olivia were about to be wed, leaving all their troubles behind and starting anew. What happens next, the unthinkable, this should never have happened! Daniel wakes up, laying on the ground, hazy, confused, and clutching a single train ticket, he runs to catch this train before it departs. Destination unknown.....for now. Aboard the train Daniel finds his love, Olivia who is dearly departed and a trapped soul, never to leave this train of souls, ever! This is no ordinary train, this is a transport train. The Trainmaster Charon is the Judge and the Jury, deciding where to transport your soul, up or down! Charon has made a deal with Daniel, find the evil responsible for Olivia's death and he will set her soul free. This game has a very interesting story, some of the game takes place on the train itself but you will stop at different destinations to capture the men who have eluded Charon and his death train for centuries, rendering the lost souls young forever while their victims are trapped on the soul train. The HOS are interactive list finds and unfortunately they do double up on some of them, but I loved the HOS that was a collage of theater posters, it was unusual and fun. Many of the mini games were new, such as recreating a shadow on the wall of a man holding a lantern. You had to move different shapes of colored glass to several hooks hanging in order to cast a shadow. I personally like the Collectors Edition better because I'm a big fan of all the extras, but for a SE this is a great value if you don't care about the bells and whistles, enjoy!

I loved this game! There are 4 hidden matches in each scene that will fuel your cauldron and let me tell you you could go insane trying to find those matches, very well hidden. You get to search a different scene or room each time and I usually don't like this type of game because usually the items are so super small that they become unrecognizable, some of these items were but for the most part they are just really well hidden. After each "year" at school there is a mini game to complete such as spelling words on a scroll by clicking and dragging letters as they pass by. Good HO game, enjoy!

You know how I love out of the box thinking, thank you devs, fantastic job! Why am I over the top excited? You get to be BOTH characters, to go further in the game you switch between the Bride and the Groom! And that's just for starters folks. The Groom is a Vampire, not just any Vampire but Count Dracula's son, and he's not thrilled with his son's decision to wed a mortal! This is a fantastic concept allowing you to "see" the game from two separate perspectives, the Groom searching for his missing Bride and the scared Bride fearing for her life, again devs, kudos! There are hidden bats throughout the game to collect and then use to upgrade your castle with greenhouses, and fountains as well as decorations. You will also find garlic which can be used in the interface shop which allows you to purchase upgrades to customize the inventory panel, the journal and even the character cameos. For some strange reason I love it (I can almost smell the roses!) There are 15 items you will find that give you a tidbit of information as to how that item relates to a Vampire. The hidden object scenes are nicely done, interactive list finds and some items are very well hidden. You can choose to play a match 3 game instead which has skulls, blood drops, wooden stakes and clovers which still has me scratching my head as to what a clover has to do with a vampire, give me a shout out if ya know. Some players may not like the fact that the HOS are doubled up, but it didn't seem too mundane to me. The mini games are good and several require you to refer to the journal for clues as to how the puzzle works. For example the journal shows 4 color coded numbers and 5 color coded roses, you must place the correct color and number of roses on a door panel to open the door. I also liked the puzzle that required you to take away 4 sticks but you had to make sure there were 4 exact triangles left. There are lot's of achievements to earn as well. In conclusion, I honestly think there is a LOT of game here, great story, great concepts and a ton of extras which in my opinion, qualifies this game as a Collectors Edition, and I'm not sure if this game can pull off a Standard Edition without taking away what makes this game over the top, enjoy!

Queen Morgana turned that evil witch Elizabeth into a teeny tiny doll last episode, perfectly harmless right? She is the witch responsible for the deaths of Lynn's parents. When she comes to you with a dire warning that The Order Of The Witch Hunters have a bounty on Lynn's head, you have no choice but to listen. I think this is a fantastic game, but I must admit I prefer the Collectors Edition because I'm a sucker for the extras especially the morph's. This is a continuing saga but the developers have done a really nice job of catching the player up to speed with a lead up introduction. This isn't a hard game to figure out but it doesn't become mundane at any point in the game. The Hidden Object Scenes are interactive list finds and I have noticed that the items to find are different if you replay the game (which I did because I missed 1 morph the first go round!) There is an option on either format to switch to a matching picture tile game, or mix it up and do a little of both! You can customize the difficulty of the game with glint options or active areas marked on the map, which happens to be an excellent jump map, and you can choose the amount of time for hint and skip button recharges. That adorable little green eyed Imp is along for the ride and willing to help you out by going where you cannot, and the CE allows you to earn achievements for putting the little guy to work. The mini games are really good, nothing that struck me as totally new, but enjoyable to figure out without blowing your mind. The games I liked the most were, matching up 8 spider legs which were actually keys, to their matching openings, and I also liked the game where you had to switch Witches from the left to the right and Hunters from the right to the left, if they were next to each other they would fight so you had to keep them separated at all times and you couldn't jump them either. This is a well produced game that tells a good story, with excellent graphics and fun HOS. I enjoyed playing this game and I think you will too, enjoy!

This is a cute but frustrating game where you have to push crates around and figure out what strategy needs to be taken in order to get the Furries from dropoff point (UFO) to the end. There are baskets to slingshot the Furries from as well as cannons to launch, there are medals to try to reach for extra points. There are achievements to earn and you can try to beat your own score which is a good thing because it sometimes takes several tries to figure out the best option, enjoy!

This is another fantastic Dark Parables, with a bit of a twist on Jack And The Beanstalk, in true DP fashion, and I wouldn't want it any other way. Jack is all grown up in this rendition, still a thief by nature with a bit of attitude toward the residents of a newly fallen Sky Kingdom. There are 20 cursed objects and some are difficult to spot because they morph slowly. As with all the Dark Parables you will get to collect 1-4 of each "Parable" which will give you the story of that Parable when all 4 are collected. The HOS are actually fragmented pieces and once all of the pieces are found they will join together to form a complete item. One of my favorite mini games was a fairytale stage with Jack and several items that had to be manipulated to complete the story such as picking apples and making butterflies fly to the Sky Kingdom. I own every DP game and will absolutely add this gem to my collection, enjoy!

If you like one scene after another of list find hidden object scenes then you're going to love this game. Each scene has a hidden scroll not on the list to find and several items to look for in each scene, some of which are very well hidden. Some scenes can be scrolled back and forth, others are just that current scene. Points are given for each item found and you earn more points for finding items quickly or finding more than one item in a row when there are several to find such as 4 brown leaves. Points are deducted for misclicks and using the hint feature, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I didn't think I was going to like this game, but it turns out it gets a bit addicting. You have to guide your mouse character through obstacles gathering coins, health, weapons, phones etc. by jumping and climbing and even falling. There are mutant plants and bugs all over the place and you can destroy them by jumping on them or using weapons. You can replay any of the levels over again in order to achieve 3 stars for that level. Nice game, enjoy!

Although this story has been done many times before, I must say they have done an excellent job with creepy on this one. When I first started this game I thought there wasn't going to be anything special about it. Andrea has suddenly gone into a coma and Mom agrees to enter her scary little world and try to replace her memories with good memories. To accomplish this feat, the good Doctor has a scanner that can scan pictures and items into her brain waves. This game also has a unique feature that allows you to go back and forth between reality and coma world. Some items can be joined together and will only be indicated by a plus sign on casual setting. In my opinion this game is a sleeper creeper, starts out slow but draws you in and holds your attention, enjoy!

This is a HdO game where you have to move the screen around and zoom in to find the required items. The items are tiny even when you can zoom in and the last few items are hidden away and you have to see the sparkles in order to know what to click on. The story has potential but the times inbetween are just too slow moving. If you don a pair of glasses and stick to the game it might pick up.
