The last of the Dark Witches have revived Marcus and Mara, the Ice Twin Sorcerers, beseeching their help in locating an artifact hidden within the world of humans. This artifact can help the Dark Witches rise into power once more, This artifact is a powerful staff that Edwin used to build and rule a secret city for the good witches. To keep the Dark Witches from obtaining the staff, Edwin cast a powerful spell upon it, which cost him his life! Edwin entrusted the staff to his daughter Eva for safekeeping, only a good witch with a pure heart can control and use the staff. The twins have tricked Annabel into activating the staff, which could mean the Dark Witches will rise to power and destroy the Good Witches and the humans they protect! Annabel's fiance Jack has followed her into the portal of the Witches domain, if he cannot stop the Icy Twins in time, Annabel and the few Good Witches left, will perish.
I was a little disappointed in this installment of Witches Legacy. I'm not at all a fan of the "fantasy world" theme this game opted for. Just in the demo alone, there are giant mushrooms, talking snails, unicorns, robots, Moai statues, snowmen who come to life, Cinderella's pumpkin carriage, talking ice sculptures, mythical Phoenix birds, a Yeti who needs a haircut, Oompa-Loompa type little people with annoying squeaky voices and lets not forget about Bertha the talking ferret! Where are all the witches, this isn't scary, this is Fantasy Island! What happened to the good old days when Lynn was chased by a witch hunter and later fell in love with him? What happened to the evil Elizabeth who turned Lynn's dog into an Imp? I just can't take this game seriously, and I just couldn't get into the characters, there's somewhat of a disconnect there, and I just don't like the fairytale graphics in a game about evil Witches.
As with all Witches Legacy games, there are Puzzle Pieces to collect that gives you four different Jigsaw puzzles to complete once you have found all of the pieces. Once assembled, you'll learn more about the story and characters and you can use the puzzles to set wallpapers on your computer. There are also Morphing Objects, one in each scene, and a whole slew of Achievements to earn as well.
The Hidden Object Scenes are multi-layered, each HOP usually has two or three different types, Interactive List Finds, Multiple Finds, Interactive Progressive Silhouetted Shape Finds, Items matching descriptions told in a short story, Items given to unlock lists such as a rag to clean a mirror, items that have Fragments behind them that give you a lens to find items you can't see without looking through the crystal lens, and you can opt to play a Matching game where you choose two items in search of matching pairs.
The Mini Games are pretty decent but do tend to be on the easy breezy side. The following are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Help Bertha pass through the labyrinth by clicking on the correct flame stones to open ice barriers on columns and rows.
2) Put the flasks in the correct places so they all connect.
3) Put objects in correct places.
4) Create a picture by selecting and placing the mushrooms into a silhouetted shape.
5) Restore the villains portrait from memory, study the picture then select the correct hair, eyes, nose and moth from memory.
6) Connect the fireballs with a continuous line alternating colors, lines cannot intersect.
This Collector's Edition has 36 Collectible Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces (that can be used as 4 different Wallpapers) 34 Morphing Objects, 28 Achievements to earn, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter.

This is another dud of a Match 3 game. For starters the graphics are horrible, the squirrels aren't even cute, and the game mechanics are old fashioned slow and clunky. This is a chain type Match 3 where you click and drag identical icons vertically, horizontally and even diagonally, AND you can even retrace your chain lines to pick up others in a different direction. The very first level gives you a visual tutorial, but doesn't allow you to click on a larger chain you can only click the few that are shown highlighted. After just a few short levels I must admit I gave up and deleted the game, it's just nutz!

I'm a huge fan of the Mystery Trackers games, and I really liked this game but it's a slow moving train. I found the tasks at hand to be monotonous at times as I had to search each train compartment for supposedly my own personal belongings that somehow ended up in some impossible places. I found it a bit bizarre that no matter how long it took me to do my thing in other compartments, when I returned to my own cabin, I brushed passed a young girl scared out of her mind, peeking around the corner. Do I say, hey I'm on it, no worries? Do I say, hey why don't you hide, because at this point I have not yet discovered which "girl" the villains are after? Nope, I just walk past her with a trusty bottle of oil to fix the zipper of my own bag that I didn't bother to fix before departing, don't mind me sweetie, btw, have you seen my cool new device that can open any electronic lock? Well once I play a match 3 game of course! Then there's the TYPO's, oh dear my big eared proboscidea mammalia pachyderm what's up with that? Have you ever wondered how that's even possible? Surely someone or multiple someone's played the game through once it was completed, or at least one Beta tester from BF said, " hey, great game, tons of fun but these words don't make sense!??
Well, anywho, on the bright side, Elf hasn't retired yet and seems to be in really good health considering he's been working hard for six straight years. He needs this vacation as much as I do and he's dressed for the occasion wearing his Aloha Hawaiian button shirt and a Panama hat, clearly there's no fashion faux pas here. Your only tool for this job is the aforementioned electronic lock pick that can unlock any electronic lock, (unless it's been melted by the villain) and you will need to play a Match 3 game each time its used, matching the specific number of icons shown to the left. This is a very boring Match 3 game, and slow because you have to wait for all the action to stop before you can make another match, but the device isn't used that often so all's good. There are 32 collectible Jigsaw Puzzle pieces to assemble, as well as Morphing Objects available in this Collector's Edition. Normally I love Morphs but I just wish the cursor wouldn't change to a hand whenever the cursor passes over the available morph. There are also Achievements to earn and plenty of Plus Sign inventory items to keep you busy.
The Hidden Object Scenes are good, I have no complaints because they offer a variety of entertaining styles. Do you remember when the HO's in this series required you to switch back and forth using inventory items you found in the game to progress through the Hidden Object Scene? I loved that feature and wish they would incorporate that again, rut row was that a complaint? There are Interactive List Finds, Silhouetted Shape Finds, Multiple Finds, and even an interactive scene where you have to administer First Aid items to one of the passengers.
The Mini Games are awesome, mainly because of the famous Super Puzzles. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Guide the star through the grid filling in all squares without overlapping.
2) Super Puzzles requiring you to tinker with several aspects of the game, without pulling out your hair.
3) Select the numbered arrows until only the three symbols in the code shown are lighted. One arrow moves the counter 4 to the left, the other moves the counter 3 to the right.
4) Rotate the gears so that the symbols inside the wire pulleys match.
5) Another Super Puzzle which will allow you to pull out some of your hair.
This Collector's Edition has 8 Wallpapers, 8 Concept Art pictures, 6 Music Soundtracks, 32 collectible Jigsaw Puzzle pieces, Morphing Objects, a Secret Room, 21 Achievements, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Haunted Legends: The Iron Mask
Explore 17th-century France as you track down a masked killer.
This "Top Reviewer" is one of our most frequent game reviewers. We think you'll trust what they have to say and find their reviews helpful and informative.
Seventeenth Century France was a brutal era, especially for those who have been imprisoned in Bastilles. This episode of Haunted Legends centers around one such prisoner, a man who has been stripped of his former identity, his face hidden behind an iron mask, doomed to spend eternity, rotting in prison, and branded with his new identity prisoner number 64389! It's as if he never existed! When the cardinal receives a death threat, you are called in to investigate as a member of the royal Secret Service under his majesty, King Louis XIV. All roads seem to lead to the man in the iron mask, and it becomes abundantly clear that his true identity is being withheld, but why? Who is this man in the iron mask? More importantly, who was this man who was locked inside the iron mask?
I must admit, Haunted Legends has upped their game lately with a second spectacular game. Vox, that creepy evil little dwarf with a short temper has returned to make your job even more difficult as he tries to sabotage your every move, but it wouldn't be a Haunted Legend without him! At the beginning of the game you will come across a very important book from Catherine de Medias library. This book has been handed down from the cardinal's to their predecessors for over 200 years, and contains secret and dreadful knowledge. Unfortunately, the books 12 seals have been lost over the years, but as the best agent the SS has, you will surely find all 12 seals throughout your investigation and discover all the horrible details written within it's pages. In the Collector's Edition version you will collect Gold and Silver Horseshoes in each scene that can be used to purchase stable items and tack supplies for your trusty steed.
The Hidden Object Scenes have some pretty well hidden objects, and offer a variety of different types. There are scenes requiring you to find matching Pairs of items, Silhouetted Shape Fragments in multiples, and even Silhouetted Shape finds that require you to first find the object that matches the silhouetted shape and then place that item back into the scene where it logically belongs. The only feature I don't like in this series is that many of the scenes are repeated a second time.
The Mini Games are actually impressive, some are even available in Casual or Hard modes, another typical feature this series offers. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Press Roman numerals in sequential order.
2) Click owls to bring them all to the center, clicking on one owl may affect others.
3) Swap Chess pieces to match the images on the etched glass.
4) Sort keys and then place them on the correct hooks.
5) Drag the dot through a path without going outside of the lines.
6) Place letters in a pile from most recent to oldest and match the letters to the corresponding daggers before moving them to the pile.
7) Assemble the musketeer and guardian images using the center button to move tiles between them.
8) Complete the emblem by rotating the lock elements, a single button can rotate multiple pieces.
9) Assemble torn letter fragments.
10) Forge the cardinal's signature by using a quill to connect the dots in the correct sequence.
The Collector's Edition has replayable Mini Games and Hidden Object Scenes, 7 replayable Movie clips, 3 Music Soundtracks, Achievements, Wallpapers, 6 Screensavers, Collectible Horseshoes, 12 Collectible Book emblems, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Young Alice was clearing the riverbed of debris underneath the water wheel, just an ordinary chore on an ordinary day, or so she thought. Today will turn out to be the most extraordinary day she has ever known, because today, Alice discovered a box lodged in the sand. When she opened the box, a beautiful bird with wings of flame flew out of the box and into her hand! Not onto her hand, the phoenix flew inside of Alice's arm, leaving no trace except for a glowing tattoo of this magical magnificent avian species. Unbeknownst to her, this bird has a price on it's head and these people will do anything to anyone to take possession of this bird. Alice is now on the run, and her only chance for survival lies within an Uncle she never knew existed until this fateful day!
Wow! This is one of those games that could easily slide under the radar, but don't pass this one by, it's solid entertainment with a really fresh storyline. I purchased this game in the Collector's Edition because each scene has a Morphing Object and one Collectible out of several categories starting with hidden eggs as well as fish, skulls and a long list of other interesting objects. Until recently, I thought Achievements were a given in all Collector's Editions, but no worries, this game does indeed have Achievements to earn (in the CE) and a ton of Plus Sign inventory items to tinker with.
The Hidden Object Scenes are far and few between, but this game has such an incredible storyline and so many thing to do in each scene that you really won't notice or be disappointed about. The HOP's are however, just as entertaining as the game itself, mostly Interactive, Progressive Silhouetted Shape where you find the first item that matches the silhouetted shape and use that item back in the scene interactively to expose the next item. Most of the scenes have at least one puzzle such as placing the moving parts of a deer to mirror the same position as the other deer shown.
The Mini Games are plentiful and more than makes up for the lack of HOP's. Below are brief descriptions of some of the mini games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Pull down all the ropes with knots in a particular order.
2) Select the items on the bottom that are used to obtain the items shown above.
3) Run past the guards without being seen.
4) Select flowers in the order shown on the board.
5) Switch the wolves and rabbits, a predator cannot be placed next to prey.
6) Click on the figurines in the order shown in a clue found earlier.
7) Follow step by step instructions of a recipe.
8) Arrange the mosaic tile pieces to create an image.
The Collector's Edition has 10 Wallpapers, 16 Concept Art pictures, 15 Videos, 8 Music Soundtracks, 24 replayable Mini Games, 7 replayable Puzzles, 20 Achievements, 35 Morphing Objects, several categories of Hidden Collectibles, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Adventure, enjoy!

Reluctantly, I purchased Florry's Well in the Collector's Edition, and my opinion hasn't changed on two important aspects. First of all, the game moves at a snail's pace, and secondly, the Collector's Edition lacks the extras that come along with the additional price. If you must have this game, this Standard Edition is the one you should opt for.
James Barton has retired from the police force and is now the proud owner of the famous Red Dragon Pub. The locals all know that this pub is haunted, and have dubbed one harmless spirit, Florry. Today however, things have changed, and Florry is no longer a harmless spirit, she's angry and revengeful! Revengeful spirits are bad for business, so James has asked his longtime friend, Brenda Gale to investigate his pub and find out why Florry is in a Fury!
My favorite part of this game is my partner in crime, Oscar Quincy, one of the Pub's frequent flyer ghosts who has a passion for punch, mixed with alcohol, lot's of alcohol. In fact he requires a drink to wet his whistle quite often, but he's the life of the party, well, technically he's not alive, but he's still pretty funny. In my opinion, Quincy is this game's saving grace, the graphics are hand drawn, giving the game a cartoonish fake appearance at times. Spirit of Revenge: The Cursed Castle (2014) Elizabeth's Secret and Gem Fury (2015) all have remarkable graphics that are far superior to the graphics in Florry's Well, and for the life of me, I can't understand why they cut corners and decided hand drawn graphics would work in this genre. Save those type of graphics for fairytales and keep computer generated graphics in this genre! The Spirit of Revenge Collector's Edition's have always had worthy extras, but the CE in this game doesn't even offer Achievements which are usually a staple item in a CE. Other than a handful of pictures, this game really only offers 44 Morphing Objects that give you an extra hint for each one found. Again in my opinion, this Standard Edition is the route to go.
The Hidden Object Scenes are actually quite decent, although almost all of them are the same type. Most HOP's are Interactive, Progressive Silhouetted Shape Puzzles where you find the first item that matches the silhouetted shape shown, and then use that item interactively back in the scene to expose the next item and they usually have some type of puzzle to solve such as balancing weight scales using various sized weights. There are also HOP's that are more like Mini Games where you interact with the scene to find ghosts, or find missing fragments.
The Mini Games are fairly easy and can be solved without much frustration. Below are some of the games you'll encounter during the demo, and a few that you'll come across after the demo:
1) Wake the cashier by fixing the clock and setting the correct time. First place gears correctly and then set the clock using various time increment buttons.
2) Select and enter the correct Bus Route number and then insert the correct amount of money.
3) Find Missing fragments and assemble the stone pattern.
4) Plant flowers to look like the picture shown.
5) Repair the symbol by rotating the pieces selected. Rotate, click and drag to the correct positions.
6) Assemble the image by swapping books one space at a time.
7) Match the couples according to their preferences, such as eye color or facial features.
The Collector's Edition has 17 VG team pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 16 Wallpapers, 14 Concept Art Pictures, 44 Morphing Objects, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Adventure, enjoy!

Monsters have taken over the streets of London once again, and your Uncle Ernest Hawkes has just bestowed upon you a family heirloom of epic proportions. Just before he passes away, he explains that the Moorgate Accord treaty between good and evil has been broken. and unbeknownst to you, was a member of the Vermillion Watch. The Watch is a secret clandestine organization dedicated to protect Queen and country, by keeping evil at bay. Together with the help of his good friend and fellow member Phileas Fogg, you must reactivate the Vermillion Watch that was disbanded 20 years ago after they signed a treaty with an undisclosed organization, called the Moorgate Accord.
I love this new series, which seems to be a blend of two of my favorite series, Hidden Expedition and New York Mysteries! The graphics are incredible, the plot is fresh, there's plenty of action and enough mystery to keep you on the edge of your computer chair! Many of the scenes have panning abilities that allow you to pan the screen to the left or right and even up and down. In the Collector's Edition version, each scene has a Hidden Sign to discover and there are plenty of Achievements to earn, as well as a built in Strategy Guide and the usual wallpapers etc. The Collector's Edition also has a Morphing Object available within the Hidden Object Scenes. I really wish they were available in the main game itself, this would be the perfect game to offer a non-linear type of morph where the item doesn't morph the first time you visit the scene.
The Hidden Object Scenes are very well done, some of which have unusual features or take place in out of the ordinary scenes. There are Interactive List Finds, Multiple Listed item finds, Silhouetted Shape finds and even Silhouetted Shape finds in Multiples where you must find several of the same type of items to fill up the Silhouette shape. I liked the HOP where you are tasked with finding 6 of each building that is being described to you, on a map. There are also several smaller zoom zone Hidden Object Puzzles, and as I mentioned earlier, each of the main HOP's have a morphing Object to discover, but only in the CE.
The Mini Games are creative, some newer some older, some super easy, others a bit frustrating. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo, and a few that are offered in the main game, which has a total of 5 chapters plus a BC:
1) Move all tokens onto the green circle by selecting red highlighted areas to move to, moving some tokens affect others.
2) Click on each watch pin to match the Roman Numeral with a symbol to figure out a coded lock.
3) Turn all of the tiles into fuses by selecting the tile with the red button and dragging the tile over others to flip them within 2 moves, repeat process with the second board as well.
4) Arrange dice in the same order as the barrels shown in an earlier clue discovery.
5) Slide tokens along the paths and into their matching symbol slot.
6) Experiment with the equipment parts then use the blueprints to repair the broken protocol.
7) Use codes you found to set the correct numbers to the correct shapes.
8) Choose the right star clusters to assemble the constellations.
9) Match the number on the dial to turn on the elevator. Select numbers on both sides of the dials until the totals are the same.
The Collector's Edition has 15 replayable HOP's, 20 replayable Puzzles, 9 Concept Art pictures, 9 Wallpapers, 9 Developer's Diary photos, 5 Music Soundtracks, a Souvenir Room, 15 Achievements, Morphing Object within the HOP's, Characters room, 16 Videos, 44 Hidden Signs, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Adventure, enjoy!

First of all, my grandparents came to America when they were around 13 years old. Even though they lived in the states most of their lives, they had very strong accents, and never could pronounce words correctly that began with the letter v, they would pronounce it with a w, vine sounded like wine every single time, even at the ripe ole age of 84. This game is supposed to take place in Budapest Hungary, yet they don't have even a hint of an accent, German or Hungarian? If all of the people doing the voiceovers speak perfect English. then why not have the game take place in America? Oh well, minor details right?
Dark Tales has another Edgar Allan Poe story to tell, a story about the Hatfield's and the McCoys, well actually the Metzengerstein's and the Berlifitzing's (no v's to worry about here) These two wealthy neighbor's have been feuding since the beginning of time, and Detective Dupin's services are required when Frederica von Metzengerstein becomes the victim of a what her father believes is a harbinger of the family curse! This ghostly apparition tries to lure Frederica to the dark side as he demands she follow him, through the purple fog, but a hero hidden behind a cloak always seems to save her just in the nick of time. Could Death himself be calling her to the afterlife? Is the hero hidden in the shadows trying to save Frederica to break the family curse? Who knows but surely, Detective Dupin can sort all the facts out and solve yet another Dark Tales mystery.
Why only 4 stars? In my opinion, the storyline is good but not great. The game seems stagnant at times, it seems to drag on and take too long getting from point A to point B. The Hidden Object Scenes are repetitive, not only are the scene locations repeated, but most of the HOP's are the same type, finding Keywords while Frederica reads her diary. I also think this game offers very little for a Collector's Edition. There are Achievements to earn as most CE's offer, but the only real feature is 15 Collectible cards that can be found tucked away in a zoom zone occasionally.
The Mini Games offer nothing new, and really nothing exciting. A few of the games are available with a difficulty mode of Casual or Hard, but not many of them which is unusual for this series. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Trace symbols with the mouse aka candle, without going outside of the outlined shape.
2) Complete the picture by swapping triangles to available highlighted slots.
3) Move the letters to their correct spots based on the clue.
4) Rotate three discs to complete the picture.
5) Set the correct combination to the lock.
6) Turn 4 horseshoes in the correct order, turning one horseshoe may affect others.
7) Move skulls to their correct slots based on color, along the tracks, skulls cannot cross over each other.
This Collector's Edition has 18 Achievements, 13 replayable videos, 10 Wallpapers, 7 Concept Art pictures, 5 Screensavers, 3 Music Soundtracks, 16 replayable Mini Games, 21 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 15 Collectible cards, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Fantastic Strategy Based Game With Beautiful HD Graphics

I'm really blown away by the graphics on this newest F2P farming game. As with most F2P games, you have to be patient or opt to pay to play. This is a Time Management Strategy based game where you are given specific quests to accomplish and decide strategically which tasks to do and in what order so that you'll have enough resources. This is a fantasy based game with crisp and colorful graphics, which takes place on an island and under the sea. A jealous sea witch has cursed the island, she has sent a giant tentacled sea monster to destroy this once peaceful happy island. To make matters worse, the witch has turned almost everyone into creatures such as turtles and even snails! Your goal is to collect magic from Magic Altars to destroy the monster, and remove the spells on the islanders who will show their gratitude by lending a helping hand.
Every restoration you make will increase your magical abilities to "level up" which unlocks more altars, decorations, fruit trees and garden items needed to progress. To restore buildings you click on the desired building and drag the pickaxe over all crumbling blocks to remove them. The next part of the restoration is to place new blocks by dragging the required number to complete the restoration. Blocks can be recycled by picking them up from the island, as well as collecting them from the mines, which of course needs time to produce them. As with all TM games, you will clean up the island by picking up sand, crumbled blocks, and even branches. Walls need restored, gardens need planted to feed the workers once the spell has been removed from them. You can choose which garden items to plant and then harvest, such as potatoes or carrots, and after a short time, you can harvest the food and send them to the kettle to feed the hungry workers. Fruit trees can be planted to make juices too, and again this takes time, and other resources. Some foods can be exchanged for currency from the islanders as well.
Magic is the key ingredient on this island. Altars must be purchased from the shop to produce the magic needed to turn the animals back into people, and also to remove cursed seaweed, corals and tentacles. Most items require pearls as currency, and this is the one resource that is sparse. Each quest takes different amounts of time to complete, if you are patient, you can earn the pearls and other items needed to progress. If you're not patient you can always opt to purchase pearls etc. through the in game app by clicking on the + icon which gives you a variety of package options. When I play these types of games (such as My Singing Monsters) I leave the game running in the background and just revisit the game from time to time. The good news is that you don't have to try a demo before buying because if you're patient, this is a free to play game, enjoy!

Two great Solitaire games in a week! I love this Native American themed Solitaire game which offers three different styles of Solitaire, Higher/Lower, Match 2, and Sum of 14. You can choose to play with just one style throughout the story, or all three, which requires you to find relics by playing one game in each style per set. There are only two deck options, a simple deck or the Native American deck.
The Higher/Lower style requires you to make matches either one higher or one lower than the foundation card regardless of suit. The Match two style requires you to make matches of two cards in a Mahjong style game, and Sum 14 requires you to match two cards which add up to the sum 14 (Jacks=11, Queens= 12, Kings=13, Aces=1) If you don't find the relic in any of the three categories you'll have to replay that style until you find the relic.
There are Wild Cards to earn that are hidden under some of the cards, which just require you to click to receive it, and each wild card number can have several cards as indicated by the number next to the wild card. There are Treasure chests that contain gold or bonuses, Lucy cards to earn and Bad Luck cards which take out one or more of your bonuses for the remainder of the game. There are 4 different character icons which give you certain bonuses to use, one removes one open card, one removes one closed card, one removes one gold resource card and the last one gives you 2 free wild cards.
After each set you will play a Match 3 fight game. I didn't like this feature because you could only swap tiles up and down not from left to right. Swapping three or more daggers will attack the enemy, and the idea is to win by depleting the enemy's health.
This is an entertaining Solitaire that offers a variety of choices, but at times it does tend to run a tad bit slow, but certainly worthy of a coupon, enjoy!
