Although this game is lacking in the logic department, I love how Labyrinths of the World centers around controversial Ancient Alien icons of the world, Stonehenge, Easter Island and now Devil's Tower. Devil's Tower is the Nation's first National Monument, sitting across the state line of northeast Wyoming nestled in the Belle Fourche River Valley, and was made famous in the movie Close Encounters. The once hidden Tower has always been there, but over time, erosion stripped away the softer rock material, exposing the 1,267 foot megalithic granite stump. Devil's Tower is considered sacred by most Native Americans, who believe the grooves on the tower were caused by a giant bear while chasing several young Indian maidens. If you think about it, this is a perfect setting for this Alien themed game, and the perfect monument to disguise a portal to another alien world, Fractal-S.
How do you stop an alien that commands the power of air and earth, an alien that is invulnerable to all known weapons? The real answer is, you can't, so to make the game interesting, logic has to be thrown to the bear who clawed the grooves, otherwise, it would be a very sad game where nobody survives, right? Great, now that we've gotten our heads wrapped around that, this is the part that I explain about Herring, the talking horse! I must admit, this scenario was a BIG mistake. Not only did they make a beautiful horse talk, but they gave her a horrible, whiny, irritating and fake sounding voice. At first, I thought the way we would communicate was by putting together symbols to figure out what concerned her, in a broken, unspoken language, but nope, they had to give her an actual voice. In this Collector's Edition version, there are 64 hidden Pearls to find and use to buy items for the Secret Lair (I never understood the appeal of this feature?) 20 Morphing Unique Flowers of the World, and 20 hidden Native American Artifacts.
The Hidden Object Scenes are varied with Interactive List finds, Multiples of the same Objects, and Keywords in a Story finds. The items are fairly clear and recognizable. You can opt to play a Match 3 game instead of the HOP's.
The Mini Games are creative and there's a ton of them to boot, and are available in Easy and Hard modes. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Swap beads to recreate the picture.
2) Restore the picture puzzle strips, 1 or 2 pieces at a time depending on difficulty.
3) Navigate through the maze without getting caught, interacting with the scene's objects and hiding in bushes.
4) Create a continuous connection by rotating rings, moving one ring may affect others.
5) Select and place gemstones onto purple spheres, the goal is to match blue lines from gemstones until they form a pattern.
6) Move the green gem to the exit, the gem will transport to a highlighted slot with each move.
7) Remove flower vines starting with the top most first.
8) Find and select the objects in the scene as shown on the flower petals.
9) Guide Herring while avoiding obstacles in her path.
10) Answer all the questions (about the game) correctly.
This Collector's Edition has 19 Concept Art pictures, 23 Wallpapers, 5 Music Soundtracks, 31 Achievements to earn, 20 Morphing Flowers, 20 Artifacts, 64 hidden Pearls to buy items for the Secret Lair, 26 Videos, 23 replayable Mini Games, 20 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

It's been 20 years since you witnessed a monster kidnap your baby brother Adam, and you never thought you'd ever get closure. All that changed when you received an anonymous letter claiming to have information about his whereabouts, but what happens next is simply unimaginable. Welcome to the Artem Estate, Amy, make yourself comfortable, you're going to be here for a very, very long time. You can check out any time you like, but you can NEVER leave! Or should I say Welcome to my Nightmare?
Tales of Terror has hit the mark with the plot, however, not so much with the gameplay. The storyline is pure genius, and makes for a fantastic psychological thriller, a game you can count on to make many twists, and "oh no you didn't" moments. Tales of Terror proves that you don't have to have a ton of gore to make a game creepy, and they have ended the demo at the perfect moment, making you want to continue this game for the story. Now about that however part, the gameplay is so predictable, you'll know what item you're looking for before you even find it, and the Hidden Object Scenes are the easiest I've seen in quite a while. Logic doesn't seem to be a factor either, I'm trying to escape from mad men, lucky me, I get a rather large and very sharp knife handed to me, yet after using it to cut some vines, I discard it? Later I need a cat to move so I decide to scare the living bejeebers out of him with an alarm clock because opening the cabinet directly above him didn't seem to do the trick. The icing on the cake is when I have to shoo away a teeny tiny bug with some "air" and I almost forgot the part where I couldn't put my hand on a spiderweb....while I was trying to escape, keyword escape, I can assure you, a spider's web wouldn't be my reason for not escaping! But despite the extreme hand holding, I'm giving this game 5 stars because I love the story, for the same reason that after playing thousands of games, my all time favorite game is still the original Phantasmat because no other game has been able to top that story, this one does comes close, really close.
The Hidden Object Scenes are pretty easy, most requiring you to find a few items that match the Silhouetted Shapes which then open up an Interactive List find. The items you need to open up the list are too easy because the cursor changes to a hand. There are also Bold Text items to find as Keywords in sentences, and some Progressive, Interactive Silhouetted Shape finds as well. Most of the scenes are repeated, a feature I hate, and there are Morphing Objects in the first phase of each HOP, within the Collector's Edition version. . The Mini Games aren't bad, but nothing really new is offered. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Select a useful object to disarm the trap using your Glowing Orb. (an unnecessary amulet feature)
2) Unlock all 4 photo holders, selecting one may affect others.
3) Fill all slots on the right side by dragging tokens within limited moves, using arrows to move tokens to the desired locations. (Easy/Hard options)
4) Make a bridge using all wooden planks of different configurations.
5) Swap tiles then press the start button to move tiles along a path until the picture is complete.
6) Remove all the triangles by selecting the 3 shapes that are combined in the image, then press the triangle on the board where the shapes intersect.
7) Enter the code according to the cards using knobs to change the image next to them.
8) Lead Amy to the stop button by the door using directional arrows, and avoiding the swinging blades.
9) Lead Harry's token out of the estate while avoiding obstacles along the way.
10) Recreate the picture by rotating hexagonal tiles.
The Collector's Edition has 8 Wallpapers, 8 Concept Art pictures, 14 Morphing Objects within the Hidden Object Scenes, 18 Mini Games, 25 Mini Games, 6 Music Soundtracks, 36 Hidden Drawings, 15 Achievements to earn, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy the nightmare!

Just like it's predecessor, Sakura Day Mahjong, it has beautiful graphics and peaceful music. And just like it's predecessor, all the features are exactly the same as all the other Mahjong games and griddlers offered by this dev. To be perfectly honest, it's fun for a few levels, then it just becomes boring, and don't even get me started on the gold tiles feature! The tiles themselves (3 to choose from) aren't really that impressive either.
There are 9 Rooms available, and each room has 20 Mahjong levels of various layouts. You score points by removing matching pairs, the quicker you remove them, the more points you score. The goal with each level is to remove all Gold tiles, the more standard tiles remaining the better. Removing Silver tiles will charge the Hint and Shuffle features, and there is an option to Shade all blocked tiles.
Each level has different goals to achieve, such as Removing all Gold tiles within the allotted time, or Removing all Gold tiles and acquiring the necessary amount of points. That's it in a nutshell, I'm not a fan of Mahjong, and 'm especially not a fan of the Gold tile feature and leaving standard tiles on the board.

Emma Roberts had barely finished reading an article about the disappearance of a young woman named Linda Swan, when Linda herself appeared as a vision. Emma is no stranger to these deja vu moments, an award winning journalist for the Fear For Sale Magazine, and a Paranormal Investigator (she's had her fair share of visions, in fact, she's been having visions for about 10 games now lol) It doesn't take Emma long to connect the dots, and these dots seem to end on Drammond Island, where a new tourist attraction has opened up in the old abandoned house. A house where lot's of things go bump in the night!
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this is the best storyline Fear For Sale has ever written! The downside is that the game is far too simplistic with little to no challenge whatsoever. If you are a beginner, this is a 5 star game you simply must try, seasoned players won't be as thrilled, unless you want a relaxing game that doesn't require a whole lot of effort. Fear For Sale has a unique feature that awards the player with points for just about everything you do in the game. As you collect points, you level up from a mere Cub Reporter, to a pulitzer prize winning journalist This Collector's Edition has the usual Fear For Sale Collections, 5 collectibles in 5 categories (Lust for Power/Freelancer/Spiritualist/Greed and Fear/A Kind of Magic) as well as 33 Morphing Objects. The problem with these features is that the cursor changes to a hand and shouts "ooh, ooh, here I am"
The Hidden Object Scenes are typical FFS variations, mostly Listed Item finds, but there are also Silhouetted Shape finds and HOP's that are more of a mini game than a Hidden Object Scene. There is an alternate Jigsaw Puzzle to play if you're not into HO's.
The Mini Games are all no brainers, but sometimes that's okay if they are fun. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Select the misplaced items on the screen using the photo as a reference.
2) Use the photo clue to open the color coded lock.
3) Use directional arrows to steer the boat, avoiding obstacles that are shown on the navigator.
4) Move the green marker to avoid the red dots until the progress bar is full.
5) Select and drag buttons to overlap images to become one clear image.
6) Select the 2 or 3 symbols on the fingers that when combined will replicate the symbols shown on the hands.
7) Select adjacent buttons to connect them all in a continuous line that doesn't cross itself. The numbers on the buttons indicate how many connections it can accept.
This Collector's Edition has 9 Wallpapers, 11 Concept Art pictures, 3 Music Soundtracks, 11 Achievements, 24 Hidden Object Scenes, 30 Mini Game Puzzles, 25 Collectibles, 33 Morphing Objects, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

A King driven by madness, commissions four enchanted armors for his most trusted knight warriors. The Deathless Knights ensued corruption, as they spread panic and chaos throughout the Kingdom, becoming an unstoppable force of evil. Their reign ended when a young Prince with a pure heart, (exactly what constitutes a pure heart in the year 1546?) defeated the four Horsemen and scattered their apocalyptic cursed armor to the four corners of Earth, to ensure their fury would never reunite. Ahh, but never doesn't last forever, and Leia's paranormal ability to see Ominous Objects will be put to the test, as she tries to save the Duke of Braunschweig and his freshly coronated son from certain death. The Deathless Knights of darkness have returned from the grave!
I'm not a huge fan of the Ominous Objects series, which has had several duds lately. But The Cursed Guards, might just be this series saving grace, it's not epic, but it is a pretty good game. The graphics are fantastic, the storyline is interesting, and Mr. Jenkins is once again the star of the show. In this Collector's Edition version, there are 14 Collectible Playing Cards, and 40 Morphing Cat Objects, that aren't that hard to find because all you have to do is look for a cat, but at least the cursor doesn't change to a hand to make it impossible not to find. There aren't a whole lot of Achievements to earn BUT, Daily Magic has added a fantastic Easter Egg feature, so read the available Achievements before playing the game, and use the clues given to find your eggs!
The Hidden Object Scenes are really good, I normally don't get all that impressed by HOP's because they are usually so easy that I can find the items without looking at the list. Not so with these, my favorite was the scene where you find objects hidden within a statue on a wall, and the items are so creatively blended, that it was actually fun! There is an alternate Match 3 game as well.
The Mini Games are good, but are little too easy and simplistic for the most part, even on the "Hard" difficulty mode. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Maintain your balance using directional arrows.
2) Use directional arrows to rotate a disc maze to complete a path for the chips to travel.
3) Find and replace missing picture pieces.
4) Untangle a rope starting at the end, in the correct order.
5) Interact with a stage play by selecting specific available tabs.
6) Place all the various shaped pieces on the board so they all fit together.
7) Rotate disks to complete a picture.
8) Assemble map fragments correctly.
9) Select swords in a specific order, moving one sword may affect others.
This Collector's Edition has 6 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art pictures, 4 Music Soundtracks, a game of Dots, 3 Developer's Diary pictures, 11 Achievements (with Easter Eggs!) 14 Collectible Playing Cards, 40 Morphing Cats, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

It's no secret that I'm a puzzle geek, but the pictures have to appeal to my tastes, and most of these pictures are ugly, or just plain old boring. As far as Mosaics go, the features are decent, although nothing new. You can play in a timed mode or relaxed, untimed mode, and there is a left handed option as well. There is also a visible timer, which is a feature they don't always offer.
The goals are simple, drag picture fragments from the Ribbon (inventory bar on right or left side depending on the option you choose) and place the fragments onto the picture correctly. You will receive a Key for completing the puzzle, a Key for completing the puzzle within the allotted time, and a Key for no mistakes. You can purchase more time or more hints with the coins earned. As you progress, the fragments become smaller and less of the picture is shown at the start which can become quite frustrating in the Timed mode.
If these pictures appeal to your inner puzzle geek, then you've got yourself a great Mosaic puzzle game, but if they don't, I'd pass this one up.

Use your paddle to hit a ball that ricochets and hits targets at the top of the board, then wait about 10 minutes for the ball to slip through one of the cracks so you can adjust your paddle to hit it up again, lather, rinse and repeat. The only exciting part is when you have to try to hit the ball back up, and catch a falling bonus package at the same time! This game is really old school and it is really fun for about 2 minutes, then it's just painstakingly slooowww, and what's up with the Christmas song and jingle bells (probably to indicate that this game is as old as Santa)
There are different types of games available, Destroy all, meaning just that, you must destroy everything to win. Gather points, doesn't matter if you destroy everything as long as you gather enough points. Destroy Balloons, Ferris Wheels and clowns, self explanatory. Dark Mode, all levels have a dark mode available where you cannot see the entire board in a dimly lit version.
There are 9 different Power Ups available such as obtaining a larger paddle to hit your ball. Have you ever played Pong? Well this game was made shortly after.

Kevin and his friends have set out on a magical journey to find magic armor to save the cursed King. Of course the Kingdom is full of obstacles at every turn to make this an epic journey adventure. I love this game just as much as the first, although it does tend to be a bit on the easy side as far as Time Management games go. You can play in a Timed or Relaxed, untimed mode, which is a feature I believe the first Fables of the Kingdom didn't offer.
Achievements are available, some of them have three different levels to achieve a bronze, silver and gold trophy. The graphics are very well done in this somewhat easy Time Management/Strategy game. Each level has a specific set of goals to accomplish, to receive up to three golden stars. You will have to use strategy when constructing buildings, so that you will have enough resources to complete other tasks.
Roads must be cleared of pits, stones, and branches, broken carts must be disassembled and bridges repaired. You will have to collect food for needed energy to complete these tasks as well. Farms can be built to produce more food, Sawmills to produce wood, Gold mines for funds and Libraries to learn various spells. The spells are actually bonuses that when fully charged can be used to speed up the workers, make construction faster, or receive more resources. When you upgrade buildings you can get more workers or a larger supply of resources. The tasks are clear, and fairly easy to achieve, they are listed at the top of the screen so you can see your progress easily.
In this Collector's Edition there are 6 Wallpapers and Extra Levels, but hardly worthy of the extra price in my opinion, so I will wait for the Standard Edition to be released. Enjoy!

Spring Mosaics are brought to us by the same devs that offered Forest Mahjong. This Mosaic offers a customizable difficulty mode which allows you to adjust the number of mistakes allowed (1-5) Whether or not you want a timer option as well as Time Bonuses, and whether you want the numbers to be crossed off one by one or only when the entire row or column is completed. This is a wonderful aspect, and I liked the fact that you can switch between colors. I can't quite put my finger on what exactly it was that bored me with the mosaics themselves, perhaps it was the small grid columns and rows, perhaps the colors weren't appealing enough. All I know is that unlike the Penguins and the Rainbow themed Mosaics, I had no desire to purchase this game, but I do recommend it because of the unique features.
You won't be able to resist the charm of this wonderful Match-3, Hidden Object mash up! Are you ready to join the snails on an exciting garden adventure?

The gameplay and features are the same as offered in Penguin Rescue. This game is about Bridget and Matthew, two snails who have missed their boat to the southern side of the garden, and decide to take their vacation on the road. It does start out super simple, but I'm assuming, that like it's predecessor, it will become increasingly more difficult as you progress.
Stick with the game, however, because of one particular feature that's bound to make the upcoming levels more challenging. Every time you make a match, sections of the board do a shuffle as they move into different positions, usually ruining what could have been an epic setup! On the negative end, you cannot make a move quickly or back to back until all tiles have repositioned or explosions finish doing their thing.
Most of the level goals require you to make matches over the sand tiles within a specific number of moves, but some levels require you to make matches of specific Snails in various amounts. Large matches or T & L shaped matches will give you power-ups on the board which are color specific such as Super Shells, Directional Bombs or Color Coded bombs. There are lot's of fun Bonuses to earn as you progress, that are just so different, the devs have really thought this one through.
After a few levels you can search for a Hidden Object as shown as a quest, somewhere on the Level Map, at first the objects are obvious, but become increasingly more difficult to locate. If you don't mind a "Limited Moves" type Match 3 game, this is one that can be enjoyed by the entire family. Stick with the entire demo before making a decision because it does become more challenging once Obstacles are introduced and fewer large matches are obtainable, enjoy!
