What an addicting game this is! All ya have to do is run around the maze inside a pyramid, collecting coins and gems. Sounds really easy until the floor opens up and swallows you, lol. The idea behind the game is to gather the items needed, be it diamonds, puzzle pieces, etc. Anubis guards the exit and won't let you pass until you find his staff and bring it back to him.
If the tiles on the maze are red, look out, because you either have to time it right or move really fast because these tiles will open up and drop you back at the start! There are elevators that go up and down as indicated by white directional arrows, but you need to find the yellow arrow to exit the level. A compass shows you the shortest route, and really works when you find yourself hopelessly lost in the maze.
You may need to land on question marks that are circled in yellow, this will change the layout of the maze, which is necessary to complete the maze. Regular question marks that are lit up without a circle usually means a new task is given, and if you don't know what you need to do next, the question marked tiles will give you a nudge in the right direction.
This is a simple, but addicting game, and try as hard as you'd like, I bet you'll fall through the floor several times, good luck and enjoy!

Lakeside Murder isn't going to win any awards, the graphics are really old school, and the acting isn't all that great, but this game is certainly worthy of a coupon. The main character, Alicia Griffith, plays the part of a detective who needs a break from crime fighting. She has rented a cabin in a remote, quiet town, Turmville, thinking that surely, the crime rate is minimal. Naturally, that isn't the case, and to make matters worse, she's stuck with solving a murder because the local sheriff and his deputy aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.
There are 35 Achievements to earn, but that's about all the extra's you're going to find. There aren't any sidekicks, collectibles or morphs, there aren't even any Hidden Object Scenes, at least not in the demo, but there are a lot of mini games and puzzles to keep you occupied.
Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Move bolts up and down to align them, each bolt moved will move the next one in the same direction.
2) Use a UV flashlight to reveal partial symbols, you must find 3 matching colored symbols in a row.
3) Align 4 elements of the shape to reveal the image.
4) Place all elements in the correct places and then unlock the box by aligning the signs.
5) Align the dials on a lock so they spell the correct word, some letters are missing, some are partially scratched.
6) Drag and switch the red and green jacks locations in order to remove the tangled wrench.
I found it a bit annoying that Alicia was constantly talking, telling you about all her thoughts, and everything she needed or was about to do. Otherwise, if you don't mind old school type games, this is an okay game to pass some time, enjoy!

You should really give this game a try, although it's not an epic game, it has a somewhat original plot. The beginning starts out slow, but as you enter each of the Wolfgrins most terrifying realms, you realize just how imaginative this game is. After the demo, the puzzles become more challenging as do the Hidden Object Scenes. I bought this game in the Collector's Edition, but that's because I prefer the Collectibles and Morphs they offer. If you don't care for the extra's, this version is fine, but the collectibles and morphs are really well done in the CE.
After the death of John Wolfgrin, his entire family vanished. The only person left to tell a tale is the maid, and the things she's witnessed within the mansion, has left her nearly insane. John may have unwillingly released an evil entity when he discovered the key to unlocking a powerful Mayan tribal necklace, powered by the moon. This is what happens when you dabble with the unknown, but the bigger question is, can you restore the Moonlight Necklace in time to save the Wolfgrin family?
The Moonlight Necklace will allow you to travel through portals of each family member's imagination, their own personal little shop of horrors imaginations. These are worlds made up of their deepest fears, and let me tell you, little Chloe's fears are over the top, I'm almost afraid to move on to brother Ben! I have to tell you, I was totally bored with this game in the beginning few scenes of the mansion, but once I entered Fear Fest, it was game on!
In the Collector's Edition, each scene has a Hidden Crescent Moon, and they have done an incredible job with blending them into the scenery. Each scene also has a Morphing Object, and again, they aren't at all obvious, you will have to concentrate to find most of them.
The Hidden Object Scenes vary with different types such as Interactive List finds, Keywords in Sentence finds, Progressive Interactive finds and Silhouetted Shape finds. Some were very interactive and layered, the only downside was that some scenes are repeated.
The Mini Games are far too easy in my opinion, and many seem to be the same variance. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Assemble the totem on the center pole, lower parts can't be placed on upper totem parts.
2) Rotate circle discs to complete the image.
3) Choose symbols in the correct order.
4) Choose portraits in the correct order.
5) Select the crosshairs when they are in the green zone.
6) Move notes into correct positions, red is incorrect, yellow is close, green is correct.
7) Select circles when they are in green moving zones.
8) Close all of the bats' wings, clicking on one may affect others.
9) Swap masks to match their silhouettes.
10) Arrange dolls so that their are no matching ones horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
Stranded Dreamscapes games available: Deadly Moonlight (4-22-17) The Doppelganger (9-27-16) The Prisoner (10-5-13)
The Collector's Edition has 12 Achievements to earn, 37 Morphing Objects, 40 Collectible Crescent Moons, 4 Music Soundtracks, 10 Wallpapers, 10 Sketches, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Emma Roberts had barely finished reading an article about the disappearance of a young woman named Linda Swan, when Linda herself appeared as a vision. Emma is no stranger to these deja vu moments, an award winning journalist for the Fear For Sale Magazine, and a Paranormal Investigator (she's had her fair share of visions, in fact, she's been having visions for about 10 games now lol) It doesn't take Emma long to connect the dots, and these dots seem to end on Drammond Island, where a new tourist attraction has opened up in the old abandoned house. A house where lot's of things go bump in the night!
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this is the best storyline Fear For Sale has ever written! The downside is that the game is far too simplistic with little to no challenge whatsoever. If you are a beginner, this is a 5 star game you simply must try, seasoned players won't be as thrilled, unless you want a relaxing game that doesn't require a whole lot of effort. Fear For Sale has a unique feature that awards the player with points for just about everything you do in the game. As you collect points, you level up from a mere Cub Reporter, to a pulitzer prize winning journalist.
The Collector's Edition has the usual Fear For Sale Collections, 5 collectibles in 5 categories (Lust for Power/Freelancer/Spiritualist/Greed and Fear/A Kind of Magic) as well as 33 Morphing Objects. The problem with these features is that the cursor changes to a hand and shouts "ooh, ooh, here I am"
The Hidden Object Scenes are typical FFS variations, mostly Listed Item finds, but there are also Silhouetted Shape finds and HOP's that are more of a mini game than a Hidden Object Scene. There is an alternate Jigsaw Puzzle to play if you're not into HO's, in the CE.
The Mini Games are all no brainers, but sometimes that's okay if they are fun. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Select the misplaced items on the screen using the photo as a reference.
2) Use the photo clue to open the color coded lock.
3) Use directional arrows to steer the boat, avoiding obstacles that are shown on the navigator.
4) Move the green marker to avoid the red dots until the progress bar is full.
5) Select and drag buttons to overlap images to become one clear image.
6) Select the 2 or 3 symbols on the fingers that when combined will replicate the symbols shown on the hands.
7) Select adjacent buttons to connect them all in a continuous line that doesn't cross itself. The numbers on the buttons indicate how many connections it can accept.
Fear For Sale game available: City in the Past (10-22-15) The Endless Voyage (4-2-15) Hidden in the Darkness (4-20-17) The Mystery of McInroy Manor (11-18-11) Nightmare Cinema (4-4-13) Phantom Tide (4-3-14) Sunnyvale Story (SE only 12-8-11) The 13 Keys (10-23-14) The Dusk Wanderer (10-1-16) The House on Black River (3-17-16)
The Collector's Edition has 9 Wallpapers, 11 Concept Art pictures, 3 Music Soundtracks, 11 Achievements, 24 Hidden Object Scenes, 30 Mini Game Puzzles, 25 Collectibles, 33 Morphing Objects, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

The Forgotten Fairy Tales is a forgettable game, there's just nothing special about it. If Fear For Sale got together with Lost Lands, this is what their offspring game would look like. The graphics are almost foggy in appearance and I'm not sure if this was a particular fairy tale look they were going for, or they didn't have a large enough budget and cut some corners in the graphics department. The biggest mistake they made however, was with the storyline. If you have played a lot of HOPA games, you'll notice that they have used bits and pieces of other games. For starters, there's the Orb Eyeballs, minions of evil, that have been in several different games, with and without eyeballs. Mom is a professor (granted they aren't usually Folklore professors) and has been "chosen" as guardian of the portal (Lost Lands) Hubby and daughter are in peril and turning into stone (Surface, Myths of the World and just about every other series games) Otherworldly Bracelet that give mom super powers (probably easier to list the games who don't have a magical bracelet but how about Echos of the Past: Wolf Healer)
The Bottom line is, that this is a brand new entry in the HOPA genre. I found the game to be easy, but not necessarily boring. I took advantage of today's sale and bought this game, because I want to play this new series through. I really think that if given a chance, this series could pick up the pace and make a better attempt at originality, with a "fairytale" theme, the possibilities are endless.
The Hidden Object Scenes are mostly Interactive List finds, but some items are fairly well hidden. There are also several Zoom Zone scenes where you have to find 5 items hidden in the background scene while the zoom zone is open, just like in Witches Legacy and Fear For Sale. My favorite scene was also the most challenging, where you were tasked with finding items that match the Keywords during a story. I will admit that some of the logical item matches were hard to find in a black and white sketch. If you're not into HOP's, there is an alternate Puzzle where you swap and rotate triangle puzzle pieces to complete the image.
The Mini Games are fairly easy, and again, forgettable and not original. The following are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Repeat the sequence by clicking on color coded arrows.
2) Use a scope to aim at the targets.
3) Use the symbol code decipher to spell the word Spectra.
4) Slide horizontal and vertical blocks to clear a path for the amber block to exit.
5) Swap items on the doorknockers to match the examples shown.
6) Mix primary colors to make the required secondary colors, you can match the symbols but they are easy colors, purple, green....
7) Find and place missing items into the scene correctly.
8) Follow directions to make a drum.
9) Lead a character through a labyrinth avoiding obstacles.
This Collector's Edition has 9 Wallpapers, 11 Concept Art pictures, 3 Screensavers, 3 Music Soundtracks, 10 Achievements to earn, 16 Bestiary collectibles, 6 collectible Feathers, 20 Light Crystals that are used to cleanse the Room of Spectra History to learn the secrets of the Spectra World, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

The Beast and it's matser were here long before you were, and will be here long after you're gone. You can fight the beast, but you will never win, after all, the Faceless Gravedigger has already begun digging a grave. But that's just an urban legend, right? Wrong, in fact, you're dead wrong!
The Big Fish Editor's aren't wrong about this creepy little gem. Welcome to Quiet Grave, er, I mean Quiet Grove. This breathtaking Resort of yesteryear was once a place where people were just dying to get in. But after four quests mysteriously disappeared without a trace, Quiet Grove was forced to close it's gates for good. Time has not been kind to the resort as the mortar begins to crumble, and weather erodes all that remain. Deep within the shadow of ruins, the Faceless Gravedigger also awaits patiently with his beastly companion. The Gravedigger has already dug a grave, your grave! R.I.P my friend, you can fight, but you'll never win!
This Collector's Edition could have been epic if the devs would have chosen to have some really good Morphing Objects from beyond the grave. But nooo, instead they chose to offer Character figurines and hidden Paw Prints! This isn't a game about puppies and kittens, it's a game about an Urban Legend (Bonfire Story) the Faceless Gravedigger! Wouldn't you agree that finding a Morphing Faceless Gravedigger is more appealing? At least exchange the puppy paw prints with grave markers or a scythe! Could've, Would've, Should've.
The Hidden Object Scenes are really well done and are located in interesting scenes. There are Multiple finds, Interactive list finds and Keywords in sentence finds, all of which have plenty of interactions to hold your interest, some even have puzzles to solve. My only complaint is that some of the objects are too small and unrecognizable.
The Mini games are doable, but not necessarily simplistic. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Drag a wire from the starting point to it's color coded node without crossing wire paths.
2) Arrange pipes to restore the water flow by swapping directional pipe sections.
3) Select buttons to replicate the punch card template, some buttons affect others.
4) Use the map to navigate the basement tunnels. You will have to explore dead ends as well, to find necessary inventory items to progress.
5) Aim and press to shoot a tennis ball when horizontal and vertical moving lines are centered in the target.
6) Create the correct pictural by selecting either the bowls of glowing mushrooms or segments of the mural.
This Collector's Edition has 8 Music Soundtracks, 9 Achievements to earn, 9 Character Figurines, 25 hidden Paw Prints of the beast, 17 Wallpapers, 36 Concept Art pictures, 6 Videos, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy your stay!

Fruit Lockers Reborn! 2, is exactly the same as the last Match 3 game offered (the original Fruit Lockers isn't available from BF that I'm aware of) which was Fruit Lockers Reborn as well. The features, game structure, graphics, enemies and even the power-ups are exactly the same as before. I don't understand why they released this game without adding something different?
If you haven't played any of the Foot Lockers games before, you may very well love this game, because it is unique as far as Match 3 games go.There are 105 levels available in a Relaxed untimed mode or Normal timed mode, and there is a meter that indicates each star status, according to how much time remains. (in the Normal Mode)
The board for each level begins with tiles or in this case "lockers" of various colors. First you make matches of 3 or more lockers of identical colors, by swapping them horizontally, vertically or in an L shape. This will cause the matched lockers to crumble and expose the Fruit tiles hidden under the lockers. Now the fun begins, each level has goals that are shown at the top of the screen, of specific numbers of each fruit that needs to be collected, or matched. As you match the fruit in the same manner as the lockers, the fruit falls off the board and the tiles above the matched fruit fall down to replace the empty matched fruit tiles. This feature can be helpful or hurtful because fruit tiles can be blocked by unbroken locker tiles, and you cannot move a fruit tile when trying to match a locker tile and vice versa.
You can earn Bonus Tools as you progress, as listed below:
1) Fruit Bubbles: a bubble that has constantly changing fruit types inside, click to pop when the desired fruit appears. 2) Magic Key: this key allows you to unlock any locker tile even tiles covered in spider webs. 3) Hammer: the hammer allows you to eliminate any single tile of your choice. 4) Fruit Bomb: this bomb explodes when the fruit inside the bomb is included in a match. 5) Fruit Blaster: this blaster will drop all surrounding fruit identical to the fruit inside the blaster. 6) Web Broom: allows you to sweep the spider webs. 7) Bug Spray: this spray exterminates all spiders, spiders are the enemy!
There is a Shuffle Icon that allows you to shuffle all the tiles without penalties, but the icon must recharge before it can be used again. Spiders appear in some of the levels and these pesky arachnids will cover tiles in spider webs rendering the tile useless unless you make a match next to the webbed tile, the spider will fall off the board if you make a match under him, but he usually has friends nearby to take his place. This really is a an unusual and highly addictive game, however, it is exactly like it's predecessor. I enjoyed playing the demo, but there isn't any incentive for me to buy a game that is the same in every way, as the game offered last year.

Tropical Delight isn't delightful at all! This griddler is made by the same devs that released the Hercules griddler a few days back, only worse, much worse! Before starting the first of 120 griddler puzzle, a written tutorial pops up to explain the rules of engagement so to speak. The tutorial starts out by saying, " To solve a griddler you need to GUESS and fill up colored squares." Say What!!!! They are right, however, because with this griddler, you will have to guess or use hints in order to solve these puzzles, even on the very first puzzle, in fact, with just about all of them.
The number one rule of thumb for a Griddler game is, never guess. These types of puzzles should be solved using logic, not hints, and certainly not by guessing. This game is designed for you to use the available hints, so much so, that you'll have to use coins earned to fill them back up, especially when the game progresses to larger, more difficult puzzles. You can earn 11 Souvenir's which are simply achievements earned for making it to specific levels.
With the coins earned, you can purchase upgrades in the shop to help you as far as the hint feature goes. the Full Bloom hint will open 1 random square, the next upgrade opens 2 random squares. the Tide feature opens 1 square of your choice the next upgrade opens 2 squares of your choice, and the Volcano feature opens 5 squares of your choice, the next upgrade opens 9 squares.
This game gives you no choice but to use their hint system, or guess. Either choice is not a good option, and are features I simply don't want in a Griddler Mosaic game. This is a resounding NO from me across the board, a no for entertainment, a no for graphics and features, and an even bigger no for recommendation!

A stranger met with Alicia one day, and told her to search for her Grandfather Allen's secret treasure, to find the answers she seeks. Alicia sets out on a treasure hunting journey to 5 different islands, in this awesome Time Management game.
The graphics are some of the best I've seen in a TM game. The critters are realistic, the trees actually look like trees, there are beautiful flowers and shrubs, even the fish swimming in the pond are lifelike. I love the different quests available, such as saving the panda cubs. There are a ton of tasks available in each level, including finding a treasure of your own with a Hidden Stone Rune available in each scene. You can play in an Easy untimed mode, Normal or Expert mode, and if you earn expert status of 3 stars, it will help Alicia clean and decorate her office. (presumably in the Collector's Edition version)
The level goals are shown at the top of the screen, a meter on the left of the screen shows your level status and how much time you have left before losing a star rating. A Bonus Meter is shown on the right side of the screen that give you various bonuses such as an extra worker or speeding up the existing workers.
This Collector's Edition version has 6 Wallpapers, a Hidden Jigsaw Rune in each scene, items to clean and decorate Alicia's office, Bonus Chapters and puzzles, and a built in Strategy Guide.
I will admit, that I had to restart a few of the levels, to change the order of tasks I selected, so that I was constantly moving rather than waiting idly for a needed resource. This is certainly an entertaining Time Management game, but I will wait for the Standard Edition version to be released to compare the versions before I buy, enjoy!

I'm usually not this critical of games offered by Big Fish, however, this game just isn't any fun. You can choose from 5 different Victorian themed card backs, and two different face card styles. None of these matter because the cards are way to small in the first place. You can also choose from three difficulty modes, Easy, Medium or Hard. I chose Medium at first, and had to play the very first level over and over again because I failed to meet the level requirements. I simply couldn't make any plays with the cards I received so I went back and created a different profile to switch to the Easy mode. (you can't just switch the difficulty setting on an existing profile) Surely this would get me through the first level, but nooo, I was lucky to make a chain of 3 cards in this mode! I finally made it through the first level, the second level took me two tries and I gave up when I only received two roses out of three, on the third level. What's the point? I understand that the levels will progress in just about any Solitaire game, becoming a little more difficult, but if you can't get through the first few levels, why bother with the rest of them? This is a Higher/Lower type solitaire game, which is really my favorite type, but I hate the type that require you to remove all of the "special" cards to beat the level, even with regular cards remaining. I hate this feature, I want to play until I get a perfect score by removing ALL cards, not just special cards. Try the demo on this game first, you'll probably agree with me that the cards are way to small and the level of challenge is way to hard because you can't seem to get any playable cards, I can only imagine what the Expert level is like!.
