Logan's Castle is the Crown Jewel of Scotland, infamous for the Logan Family Massacre, and the evil entities left behind. He who dares to enter, will surely perish, after all, several have tried and failed to return! The entire Logan family was brutally murdered and their family artifact was stolen, an artifact so valuable, they were willing to sacrifice their lives. No one knows what became of the artifact, but if your suspicions are correct, it may be in the loch that surrounds the castle grounds. You're in too deep now however, and someone or something, doesn't want you to find the artifact, in fact, it seems they don't want you to live at all, or are you already dead?
Phantasmat is my favorite series, and no other game has EVER been able to write a storyline as Phantastic as the original Phantasmat, period. One of the reasons I love this series is because the storylines are always really good, and original, and I never know if I'm alive, or dead! Mournful Loch isn't as good as as the last couple of games in the series, but this is a solid game from beginning to end. Another feature I love about this series is that I can always count on the Collector's Edition version to have Morphing Objects (and not just within the HOP's which most games have switched to)
The Hidden Object Scenes are multi-layered with different types such as Interactive List Phinds, Silhouetted Shape Phinds, Sketch Phinds, Multiple Phinds, and even Morphing Object Phinds, one of my personal Phavorites.
The Mini Games range from simple to complex, many of which are new or different versions. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Press arrows to move the tiles and arrange them so they match the clue shown.
2) Use the knobs to move the sliders to select pairs that comprise each symbol.
3) Select tusks to repeat the sequence shown.
4) Drag the sliders to move and focus the telescope to find the required symbols.
5) Move the teeth to the correct color coded sides using skeletal hands to move and select two teeth at a time.
6) Set the symbols on the pillar so they match the clue shown.
The Phantasmat Series:
Phantasmat (11-11-11)
Behind the Mask (12-17-15)
Crucible Peak (12-6-12)
Mournful Loch (4-13-17)
Reign of Shadows (10-6-16)
The Dread of Oakville (7-9-15)
The Endless Night (1-10-15)
Town of Lost Hope (4-7-16)
The Collector's Edition has 15 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 16 replayable Mini Games, 8 Concept Art pictures, 8 Wallpapers, 5 Music Soundtracks, a Souvenir Room, 11 replayable Videos, 12 Achievements to earn, 21 Morphing Objects, Collectibles, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

The number one rule of thumb for a Griddler game is, never guess. These types of puzzles should be solved using logic, not hints, and certainly not by guessing, but that's exactly what you have to do to solve some (but not all) of these griddler puzzles! It's really a shame, because this would have been a 5 star game if not for that. Although the pictures are somewhat simplistic, and only 3 colors are offered, I loved the music, and I loved the storyline. I just don't want to use a hint, and guessing is a big no, no!
This is a Griddler based story that follows Hercules and his quest to fulfil 12 labors for King Eurystheus. The gods told Hercules that if he completed 12 labors for the king, he would become immortal, (his father is Zeus, his mother is a mortal, which makes him a demigod) but the king fears Hercules. If Hercules is to complete the 12 labors, he must find a way to gain King Eurystheus' trust, one griddler at a time.
You can purchase upgrades in the shop to help you as far as the hint feature goes. the Laurel Wreath will open 1 random square, the next upgrade opens 2 random squares. Athena's Blessing opens 1 square of your choice the next upgrade opens 2 squares of your choice. Thunder of Zeus opens 5 squares, the next upgrade opens 9 squares.
As I stated earlier, this game has great potential, but a Mosaic Griddler game should be solvable logically, and I shouldn't have to use a hint just to solve a puzzle, and I hate using the hint feature, so this is a no go in my opinion.
I don't recommend this game.

This Redemption Cemetery is a cemetery so full of evil, that not even the living dare to enter! No one leaves, not the living and certainly not the dead, you'd be wise to heed the cemetery's grave warning: Only once, only in light. (good enough for me I'm outta here!) The locals built a church within the cemetery, and summoned Kirkogrimm, the Keeper of light so lost souls could acquire the light, and find their way to eternity. But even he was cursed by evil, feeding upon their pain and removing all hope for peace in the afterlife, he is now the Embodiment of Evil itself. Legends say that only a mortal with a pure soul can find the Light of Souls, and release the suffering. That pure soul, is yours, it has to be, or you will remain in darkness like all those who have come before you, because Kirkogrimm doesn't allow anyone out alive! The only way to destroy him is to release the restless souls contained within the three pillars of the cursed, before the break of dawn. To break the curse, you must find a crystal for each soul, and activate them with ancient runes on the church's altar. You must break the chains of the each soul not yet dead, and enter a portal into the worst day of that person's life, and right the wrongs to give them redemption and save their souls from the Embodiment of Evil!

Finally! A Redemption Cemetery worthy of 5 stars! Usually, this series offers mundane collections, but in this Collector's Edition version, the Collectible Cards are kind of interesting. There are 14 different cards, and each one requires you to collect 3 Grave Tokens to refute various urban legends. Some of the legends are really interesting, especially once you get to read the reason the legend started in the first place. I also love the newer feature RC has added lately that give you statistics after each Hidden Object Scene, with your accuracy percentage, the number of selections you made, the time it took to complete, and the hints used if any. You then receive Bronze, Silver and Gold Tombstone awards according to your statistics. You can disable this full screen pop up, as well as the 30 Achievement popups, if you don't like this feature.

The Hidden Object Scenes have one feature I hate, they repeat the scenes a second time, not just some of them, all of them! Other than that, they aren't bad, and they are varied each time with Keywords in sentences, Interactive Silhouetted Shapes finds, Multiple finds and good old fashioned Text Listed item finds. If you want to achieve 100% accuracy, you cannot click on interactive objects for a black bar tip, however because it counts as a miss-click.

The Mini Games range from fairly simple, to medium difficulty, but so far nothing to difficult or frustrating. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:

1) Enter the code by connecting the dots to match the clue shown.

2) Open all lock pieces by dragging the skulls left or right, dragging one skull may affect others.

3) To ask a question, recreate the image by dragging horizontal lines the first time, vertical lines the second time and horizontal and vertical lines the third time.

4) Select and drag the correct rune sections to completely fill the center symbol shown.

5) Select and drag lines across dots in one complete line to recreate the symbol shown.

6) Select matching symbols by clicking on two clouds at a time to reveal hidden symbols.

7) Correctly place stained glass pieces in three different puzzles.

8) Follow the directions to play an arcade game. (I was jotting down the puzzle info in my notes and the game finished all by itself correctly even though I hadn't yet started the game!)

9) Put your hockey team into the correct starting position and click the start button to try out your formation.

10) Throw basketballs into a tiny moving net until you score the required points.

11) Select and place the missing road pieces correctly.
Redemption Cemetery Games Available:
At Death's Door (5-16)
Bitter Frost (12-13)
Children's Plight (11-11)
Clock of Fate (9-15)
Curse of the Raven (11-11)
Grave Testimony (8-12)
Night Terror's (2-17)
Salvation of the Lost (4-13)
The Island of the Lost (3-15)

This Collector's Edition has: 42 Collectible Skull Tokens to Refute 14 different Urban Legend Cards,(3 Collectible Skull Coins required per card), 30 Achievements, (you can disable the screen animations) 7 replayable Mini Games, 21 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 9 Concept Art pictures, 16 Wallpapers, 7 Screensavers, 4 Music Soundtracks, 10 Movies, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Space Mosaics is a griddler game by the same devs as Spring Mosaics and Forest Mahjong. They are the only games of this nature that I can recall, who offer a completely customizable game feature. You can play in a Casual, Normal or Expert difficulty mode, or tweak the features that suit you in Custom mode. You can choose a Timed mode and whether or not you want a Time Bonus, how many available mistakes you are allowed from 1-5, how fast the Hint recharges from 30-120 seconds, and if you want the numbers to be crossed off one by one or only when the entire row has been completed.
This Sci-fi griddler mosaic has only a few colors offered per level, allowing you to switch between colors to help solve the puzzle. Goal levels are given to you before the start of each level, and are usually in the form of completing the puzzle with under a specified amount of mistakes made. You will earn all 3 stars, even if you use hints or make fewer than the allotted amount of mistakes!
The features I disliked about this griddler are that you can earn 3 stars even with mistakes made as long as you don't go over the mistakes allowed. To me, earning 3 stars should not be possible unless you make no mistakes. I also found the music to be really annoying, at times it became louder than normal, and I finally had to turn the music off completely to fix the problem. The grids themselves sit in the upper left corner, not in the middle of the screen where you think it should be, to me, this was an annoying feature, at least the music problem was solvable. Lastly, the sci-fi pictures that are shown before the puzzle starts is really cool looking, but the completed mosaic picture is not that special. I recommend Fantasy Mosaics and Rainbow Mosaics which has much better pictures and way more color!
I don't recommend this game.

In the original Magic Cards Solitaire, Mage Knoxford was mixing a potion that accidently blew up. When the smoke cleared, he soon realized that this reaction caused a portal to open, and a fairy was transported from the elven world. To return the fairy to her world, the two of them set forth on an adventure to find the necessary ingredients to transport her back to the elven kingdom. In a strange twist of fate, his latest experiment, has brought him to her elven world. There is a reason for him being here however, the fairy is in desperate need of his skills as an alchemist to save their Fountain of Life, and once again, they will need to find 21 ingredients to make this happen.
I can't tell you how many times I've replayed Magic Cards Solitaire, I've lost count, but I absolutely love the Higher/Lower solitaire game. In this game, however, they have changed a few details, one of which is that it's no longer a Higher/Lower variant, but several different types, starting with finding pairs that equal the sum of 13. I'm not sure yet what other kinds are available, because in the demo, the entire first chapter is offered as this type only. I couldn't find any option to choose the variant of solitaire, which would really have been awesome.
For every card removed, you earn Magic Drops, that are used to buy mostly number specific wild cards. You can also buy Jokers, Hints and Undo features, as well as bonus Hearts, Diamond, Spade and Club cards. Wild cards are also earned in some of the levels. Each level requires you to find an ingredient or item, starting with Books, but the goal is to receive a perfect score too, so you want to remove all cards if possible. You can replay the levels as often as you want to try to earn a perfect score.
Because Magic Cards Solitaire is one of my favorite Solitaire games, I'm definitely taking advantage of today's sale with this one. The reasons I enjoyed the first game are because you can choose the card style, one of which has very large numbers without graphics to make it easier, the levels themselves are fantastic because there are a ton of deck cards, but that's because there are a ton of cards to remove from the board (some stacks have 20-50 cards in them) and you can replay the level over and over until you receive a perfect score, which is a must have feature for me. I enjoyed playing this Sum 13 demo, so I'm going to find out what comes next, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Princess of Tavern has a cute storyline, lighthearted music, nice graphics and good Time Management tasks. However, I agree with the other reviewer, that the cook takes too long to prepare the food, which makes it difficult to earn 3 stars, because you can't progress until you get the food. I replayed the first couple of levels, because I only earned 2 stars, and at first you only have 2 chairs. You can't get rid of a customer and seat the next one if you can't speed up the time it takes to get the food. If it wasn't for that glitch, this would be a 5 star TM game!
This is a Dinner Dash type of Time Management game, where you drag the customer to an available seat, click on them to take their order, click the cook to have him make the food, click on the food when ready, click the customer to serve the food, click the customer to take payment, click on the table to get their dirty dishes, click on the trash can to clean dishes, and repeat the process until all customers are served. As you progress, more complicated dishes are ordered, more customers are added and as well as different tasks are given, such as taking sweets to the baby to keep her from crying.
Before starting a new level, you will be shown what food ingredients are required. You enter the grocery store to buy these ingredients in the required amount, such as 3 tomatoes. You will also purchase items to help you serve customers such as extra table and chairs to serve more customers.Eventually, you will upgrade the building itself, Diner, Inn and Tavern.
After a few levels, you will unlock a Treasure Chest that contains an item to help you dress for the upcoming Royal Ball. Once all items have been unlocked, you get to attend the Ball. There are 15 Achievements to earn as well, but there is no option to play this game in a Relaxed, untimed mode, at least none that I could find. If you can overlook the slow cook, or find a way to work around this slow feature, it is a decent Time Management game, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

The Penguin family has been asked to star in a movie! Will it be an action packed movie, a drama, a horror movie? I'm bettin' it'll be a fantasy movie!
This latest version still has 6 different color bubbles, but they have added several new colors, including fluorescent colors and colors that remind me of gummy candy. You can switch between the color bubbles to help you solve these colorful griddlers, and you can earn a Gold trophy if you make no mistakes, a Silver trophy if you make one mistake and a Bronze trophy if you make two mistakes, three mistakes require you to replay the level. You will also earn up to three gold Stars if you don't use any hints, one star is deducted each time you use a hint. Therefore, it is possible to make a mistake or two but still earn 3 stars if you don't use any hints.
This is a griddler or mosaic type puzzle game where you fill in and cross of cells on various sized grids, using logic, so you'll never have to guess. (unlike some griddler games) They aren't easy puzzles to solve at times, but I love the challenge. If you are new to mosaic games, I suggest trying one of the earlier versions of Fantasy Mosaics. There are groups of numbers located on each column and row of the grid, each group of numbers must be separated by at least one blank or crossed off cell. Sometimes it's easier to figure out where numbers can't possibly fit to reduce the amount of cells and narrow the playing field down a bit. Some cells contain bonuses such as extra hints, extra mistakes allowed or an extra pickaxe which allows you to choose which cell you want a hint on. There is a Sun icon as well that when fully charged, will give you a mega hint, filling in or crossing off a 3x3 area of your choice.
The one feature that makes Fantasy Mosaics stand out from the rest of the griddler games, is the vibrant array of colors available, and now there's six different colors used to make the pictures even better. In this version, I think the pictures are really interesting, and really pop with all the new colors added. It can also help you solve the puzzle when you get stuck, because you can switch to another color which ultimately narrows down the available cells. Unlike many griddler games, these pictures actually make sense, because they have six different colors you know what image you have created.
This is my favorite Mosaic Griddler series and is one of the best available, and certainly the most colorful. This is a must have game for griddler geeks and an immediate purchase for this geek. I'll spend the entire day playing it, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I purchased the Collector's Edition of this game during a sale, hoping that the plot would thicken after the demo.( I always wait for a bogo sale to purchase new games, and I finish playing them on the days that the Standard Versions are released. Sometimes my opinion changes from my review of the CE demo, sometimes for the worse, sometimes for the better. I usually don't give Standard Edition versions as many stars as the Collector's Edition versions, because I happen to enjoy the extra's, the Morphs, and the Collections etc. that they offer) Hidden Expedition games of late, have diminished in graphic quality, and storyline substance. This used to be an excellent series, because the games offered were from a completely different genre than most of the other games out there. They used to be one of a kind, action based, heart pounding adventures, always having to be one step ahead of the bad guys, and always saving the world from doom and gloom. Now they just seem average, they all seem to have the same plot, but with slightly different quests, or artifacts the game revolves around. No longer do you feel a sense of urgency with a dash of danger, or an "oh no, did the bad guys see me?" moment. It seems like lately, every HE game begins with Sam getting injured or captured (yet somehow he managed to get the promotion, and I got zilch, even though I'm the one responsible for solving all the cases without him!) All the games lately have me trusting the wrong, back stabbing, ruthless characters, and have you noticed that the person running the bad guy show, is always a woman?
Here we go again, don't panic, because H.E.L.P is on it's way! Waradi Tayal has asked for H.E.L.P, after a valuable pearl is stolen from his Pearl Farm in Fiji. This is no ordinary pearl, this pearl allegedly belonged to the great Marco Polo, and is thought to hold extraordinary powers. Marco Polo entrusted the pearl to his close friend, Peter Tayal, before passing away, and the Tayal family has protected the Pearl for generations. The Tayal family knows that the Zambetti family will do anything to possess the pearls extraordinary powers, and everyone knows, the Zambetti's never forget, and they never forgive!
First of all, I'd like to know how Peter knows the pearl has been stolen if the burglars have rigged the door and he hasn't found a way to get inside yet? Secondly, how did I (aka H.E.L.P. agent) travel all the way to Fiji once I received the distressed call, so fast that the thieves were still in the building? That must be the world's fastest helicopter! Thirdly, why is a pearl farmer a partner with the agency? He's obviously not an agent or he would have done his own agent dirty work, and I'm pretty confident that pearls are not a commodity used by the agency. Besides the absence of logic, I found this latest edition of Hidden Expedition to be a little slow moving, and at times, boring. I fear that this series may be in trouble, because they just aren't as epic as they once were.
In the Collector's Edition there are the usual Achievements to earn, and the usual Fact Cards to collect, (cards to find that contain interesting facts about different cultures or items used.) There is a Hidden Sign in each location scene, and a Morphing Object within most of the Hidden Object Scenes (in the Collector's Edition version.)
The Hidden Object Scenes are varied with just about every type imaginable. Listed Item finds, Keywords in Sentences, Interactive Silhouetted Shape finds, and Riddle Sketch finds that describe the item to find in a riddle form. The CE version has a Morphing Object to find in 12 of the HOP's, and has an icon showing the availability.
The Mini Games are decent, some of which are new. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Enter the code, using symbols as a clue.
2) Clear a path for the cable to plug into the left outlet, using directional arrows to move the blue switches that aren't blocked.
3) Use clues on a computer to find important year dates, and then find on a number grid.
4) Use a scale to measure the pearls and place them into the correct boxes.
5) Hover over the cross hairs which glow green if you are on the correct path.
6) Pull each parachute cord in the correct sequence shown.
A couple of years ago, I researched some fun facts about the Hidden Expedition series because I wanted to find out what H.E.L.P stood for, the P was stumping me. Turns out that this league has had a few name changes over the years. In Hidden Expedition: Titanic, the league went by the name of H.E.A.L, which was the Hidden Expedition Adventure League. In Hidden Expedition: Everest, the league was simply the Hidden Expedition Club, and in Hidden Expedition: Devil's Triangle it was H.E.A.T which stood for Hidden Expedition Adventure Team. The newer games feature the name H.E.L.P which stands for Hidden Expedition League of Preservation (my guess originally, was protection) Here are the other games available in this series:
Everest (no CE available/ 11-22-11)
Titanic (no CE available/ 12-20-11)
Amazon (no CE available/ 11-14-11)
Dawn of Prosperity (8-27-15)
Devils Triangle (no CE available/ 11-15-11)
Midgard's End (6-2-16)
The Crown of Solomon (7-3-14)
The Eternal Emperor (9-1-16)
The Fountain of Youth (1-14-16)
The Lost Paradise (12-22-16)
The Uncharted Islands (11-15-11)
The Collector's Edition has 16 replayable Mini Games, 12 replayable Hidden Object Scenes with a Morphing Object available in most, 11 Videos, 9 Music Soundtracks, 8 Wallpapers, 8 Concept Art pictures, a Souvenir Room, 23 Achievements to earn, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter. I recommend playing this game, but the earlier games in the series are so much better, enjoy!

This is a fun Pirate themed Solitaire game that reminds me of Seven Seas Solitaire. This would have been an immediate purchase for me, as well as a 5 star game, but there is no option to replay the levels, making it a no go for me personally. There are 20 Achievements to earn and 3 different types of Mini Games available. Tri-Island is a solitaire game where you move your ship to the goal by removing cards in a higher/lower solitaire game. Treasure Keeper is a game similar to "push the box" only you use your ship to push the treasure box. Snap is a Match 2 solitaire game similar to Mahjong where you remove matching card numbers regardless of suit.
In Pirate Solitaire, the goal is to remove cards that are one number higher or one number lower than the deck card. Chain combos begin at 5 cards consecutively, which gives you a higher index on the meter for more points. Coins are released when an entire column has been removed, and you have to move your cursor over the coins to collect them. With the coins earned, you can but Cannonball Cards that are number specific wildcards. As you progress, some cards are blocked, requiring you to find the key cards to unlock such as finding a Shovel card to dig through the Sand Dune blocks.
I hate it when I don't finish solitaire levels with a perfect hand of no cards remaining. I want the option of replaying the levels until I get a perfect score, and because this game doesn't give you this option, it was a fun demo, but not a game I would buy.
I don't recommend this game.

fromLet's use our single bullet to open a locked chest, great idea! (not to mention the fact that the bullet wasn't even chambered)

Dark Dimensions have returned in the form of deadly vines, that are taking over the Oldforester National Park. (wow, they're really purple) Your colleagues and personal friends, Linda and Carter Cole have asked for help, investigating this strange phenomenon.(strange because they're purple) The investigation turns deadly, in the blink of an eye, when the entire group becomes entangled by the vines, (did I mention how purple they are?) seemingly capable of conscious thought, and certainly capable of revenge. Where did these (really purple) vines come from, and why are they seeking revenge? (why are they so purple is the real question)
In my opinion, Dark Dimensions have only had two epic games in the series, City of Fog and Wax Beauty. Vengeful Beauty is certainly better than the last game offered, Blade Master, but the storyline isn't great, and the graphics are too purple to take seriously. Dark Dimensions should be about Dark entities, not purple entities, and certainly not about killer purple vines. If I were to create a Dark Dimension game, I wouldn't reveal the "monster" during the demo at all. Wouldn't this game be creepier if people were disappearing right and left, but you never saw it coming, you never knew what entity was taking your friends?
The Hidden Object Scenes are plentiful in this demo, which is a brave move, because there are a ton of people who love HOPA games for the mini games and the adventure, but are no longer impressed with the HO's. The reason for this is simple, the Hidden Object Scenes aren't what they used to be. They used to be filled with objects that were challenging to find because the objects were blended into the scenery in disguise, nowadays, they are just junk piles of objects piled on top of one another, not hidden in the least bit. Most of these HOP's are Interactive list finds that open up after 5 objects of 2 different kinds are found. There are also Keywords in sentence finds and Interactive Silhouetted Shape finds available, as well as an alternate Match 3 game.
The Mini Games are decent and offer a fair amount of challenge with most. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Click on skulls to light all of them, in a three part game. Clicking on one skull may affect others.
2) Recreate the sound wave pattern shown on the clue by adjusting 4 different buttons.
3) drag a bullet through a path without touching the edges.
4) Connect all portraits by clicking on all portraits with a single line.
5) Remove vines in a specific order.
6) Arrange the stones so they match the the runes shown on the slots underneath them.
7) Drag each item in the center to one of the stones to complete the images.
Other Available Dark Dimension Games:
City of Fog (11/11)
Wax Beauty (4/12)
City of Ash (6/13)
Somber Song (3/14)
Homecoming (2/15)
Shadow Pirouette (10/15)
Blade Master (6/16)
This Collector's Edition has Morphing Puzzle Pieces to assemble 4 different Puzzles, 15 Collectibles to assemble 3 Devices to research the DD flora, Developer Diary pictures, 10 Concept Art pictures, 11 Wallpapers, 25 Achievements to earn, 4 Music Soundtracks, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!
