Although this game is lacking in the logic department, I love how Labyrinths of the World centers around controversial Ancient Alien icons of the world, Stonehenge, Easter Island and now Devil's Tower. Devil's Tower is the Nation's first National Monument, sitting across the state line of northeast Wyoming nestled in the Belle Fourche River Valley, and was made famous in the movie Close Encounters. The once hidden Tower has always been there, but over time, erosion stripped away the softer rock material, exposing the 1,267 foot megalithic granite stump. Devil's Tower is considered sacred by most Native Americans, who believe the grooves on the tower were caused by a giant bear while chasing several young Indian maidens. If you think about it, this is a perfect setting for this Alien themed game, and the perfect monument to disguise a portal to another alien world, Fractal-S.
How do you stop an alien that commands the power of air and earth, an alien that is invulnerable to all known weapons? The real answer is, you can't, so to make the game interesting, logic has to be thrown to the bear who clawed the grooves, otherwise, it would be a very sad game where nobody survives, right? Great, now that we've gotten our heads wrapped around that, this is the part that I explain about Herring, the talking horse! I must admit, this scenario was a BIG mistake. Not only did they make a beautiful horse talk, but they gave her a horrible, whiny, irritating and fake sounding voice. At first, I thought the way we would communicate was by putting together symbols to figure out what concerned her, in a broken, unspoken language, but nope, they had to give her an actual voice. In the Collector's Edition version, there are 64 hidden Pearls to find and use to buy items for the Secret Lair (I never understood the appeal of this feature?) 20 Morphing Unique Flowers of the World, and 20 hidden Native American Artifacts.
The Hidden Object Scenes are varied with Interactive List finds, Multiples of the same Objects, and Keywords in a Story finds. The items are fairly clear and recognizable. You can opt to play a CE Match 3 game instead of the HOP's.
The Mini Games are creative and there's a ton of them to boot, and are available in Easy and Hard modes. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Swap beads to recreate the picture.
2) Restore the picture puzzle strips, 1 or 2 pieces at a time depending on difficulty.
3) Navigate through the maze without getting caught, interacting with the scene's objects and hiding in bushes.
4) Create a continuous connection by rotating rings, moving one ring may affect others.
5) Select and place gemstones onto purple spheres, the goal is to match blue lines from gemstones until they form a pattern.
6) Move the green gem to the exit, the gem will transport to a highlighted slot with each move.
7) Remove flower vines starting with the top most first.
8) Find and select the objects in the scene as shown on the flower petals.
9) Guide Herring while avoiding obstacles in her path.
10) Answer all the questions (about the game) correctly.

Mystery Mosaic 2 has come a long way, making vast improvements over the first game offered. The problem with this game is that it is way too easy. After playing just the demo itself, I was able to solve so many grids, that I would never get my money's worth because at this pace, I'll finish the game in about an hour or an hour in and a half. I enjoyed my hour solving the grids, and it was a good game, I'm sure it will receive many 5 star ratings, but I want a little more of a challenge. On the bright side, at least they are puzzles that are solved by logic, not guessing like so many other games offered.
Mystery Mosaics 2 offers 100 different levels of various sized grids, and there are 18 Achievement Trophies to earn as well. You will earn points for each grid solved, the more stars you earn, the more points you'll earn. You can use up to 6 hints per level (you probably won't use any) and you are allowed up to 5 mistakes. You can purchase buildings with your earned income, to build a town, but I found this feature worthless. You don't get any bonuses, power-ups or super powers, you just get to build a virtual building, what's the point?
The graphics are hand drawn, but basic, and there are only 3 colors available, at least within the demo, perhaps more colors are added as you progress. The pictures do make sense, and the colors are different enough to give them depth, but they aren't all that appealing at times.
For me personally, this game didn't impress me enough to want to buy it, therefor it doesn't constitute a 5 star rating. However, I would recommend this game for beginners, or someone who is looking for an easy breezy game to relax and enjoy!
I recommend this game!

A King driven by madness, commissions four enchanted armors for his most trusted knight warriors. The Deathless Knights ensued corruption, as they spread panic and chaos throughout the Kingdom, becoming an unstoppable force of evil. Their reign ended when a young Prince with a pure heart, (exactly what constitutes a pure heart in the year 1546?) defeated the four Horsemen and scattered their apocalyptic cursed armor to the four corners of Earth, to ensure their fury would never reunite. Ahh, but never doesn't last forever, and Leia's paranormal ability to see Ominous Objects will be put to the test, as she tries to save the Duke of Braunschweig and his freshly coronated son from certain death. The Deathless Knights of darkness have returned from the grave!
I'm not a huge fan of the Ominous Objects series, which has had several duds lately. But The Cursed Guards, might just be this series saving grace, it's not epic, but it is a pretty good game. The graphics are fantastic, the storyline is interesting, and Mr. Jenkins is once again the star of the show. In the Collector's Edition version, there are 14 Collectible Playing Cards, and 40 Morphing Cat Objects, that aren't that hard to find because all you have to do is look for a cat, but at least the cursor doesn't change to a hand to make it impossible not to find. There aren't a whole lot of CE Achievements to earn BUT, Daily Magic has added a fantastic Easter Egg feature, so read the available Achievements before playing the game, and use the clues given to find your eggs! (when I say Easter Eggs, it means to search for something, just like searching for hidden eggs, not real eggs)
The Hidden Object Scenes are really good, I normally don't get all that impressed by HOP's because they are usually so easy that I can find the items without looking at the list. Not so with these, my favorite was the scene where you find objects hidden within a statue on a wall, and the items are so creatively blended, that it was actually fun! There is an alternate CE Match 3 game as well.
The Mini Games are good, but are little too easy and simplistic for the most part, even on the "Hard" difficulty mode. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Maintain your balance using directional arrows.
2) Use directional arrows to rotate a disc maze to complete a path for the chips to travel.
3) Find and replace missing picture pieces.
4) Untangle a rope starting at the end, in the correct order.
5) Interact with a stage play by selecting specific available tabs.
6) Place all the various shaped pieces on the board so they all fit together.
7) Rotate disks to complete a picture.
8) Assemble map fragments correctly.
9) Select swords in a specific order, moving one sword may affect others.
Ominous Object Games Available
Family Portraits (7-17-14)
Lumina Camera (8-11-16)
Phantom Reflection (4-16-15)
The Cursed Guards (4-27-17)
The Trail of Time (12-19-15)
The Collector's Edition has 6 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art pictures, 4 Music Soundtracks, a game of Dots, 3 Developer's Diary pictures, 11 Achievements (with Easter Eggs!) 14 Collectible Playing Cards, 40 Morphing Cats, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Welcome to the Freedom Hotel, a hotel that can grant your deepest desires, a hotel that can help you overcome your deepest fears. A hotel whose owner just might be the Ruler of Darkness, the Angel of Light, Belial, the Deceiver, Beelzebub, the almighty King of the bottomless pit! The cost of a room at this hotel isn't cheap, you could very well pay the ultimate price.....you're soul!
To play this game, you'll have to sign a contract with the hotel's owner (no worries, you will be signing in as Stephen Blake searching for his mother Elizabeth and sister Kate, not your chosen screen name, just in case your darkest fear is the fear of signing away your soul, also known as thedevilmademedoitphobia) To try to make your stay more enjoyable, feel free to search for Ghosts of past hotel guests, Morphing Beyond objects and Morphing Phobias. The owner would appreciate your cooperation in returning his missing family Crest pieces as well, so if you come across any of these fragments, kindly assemble the crest and return the screensaver, no questions asked.
Also for your entertainment, the hotel has arranged some wicked Hidden Object Scenes, former guests say they are to die for! Former guest Mary had this to say: "I absolutely loved the scene where I found objects that matched the silhouetted shapes of animal prints, one in particular seems to belong to a beast!" James had this to say about his experience: " I had no choice but to dig through a mucky fountain as I searched for items to save my life" One of our permanent guests Frank also adds: "The hotel's bar is in shambles, I had to move items just to find two of every ingredient just to whip up my favorite spirit!"
The puzzles are optional at this hotel, you won't be penalized for not participating in the game, however, it is strongly recommended that you give at least one of these games a try, if you want to have an immersive experience:
1) Navigate through the hotel corridors to reach your mother using the hotel map to select the correct hallways and doorways. Caution, your fears will come into play.
2) Place the flags according to the year they represent.
3) Find the correct path through the forest by rotating the compass until the correct group of prints that match the clues align, then choose the path the arrow points to. Please be cautious of things that go bump in the dark.
4) Place the owls in their correct color coded spots. (please ignore the fact that you just fed a spotted owl walnuts)(because they don't eat nuts)(they eat meat)(but maybe he's just overcoming his fear of eating the same thing a squirrel does)(....just saying....)
5) Guide the mouse through the labyrinth by using directional arrows to plot the course and clicking the start button to test your solution. (do you think mechanical mice have fears?)
6) Follow the recipe to brew a soothing cup of tea to give to James because he's supposedly freaking out, but he looks perfectly fine to me. ( I fear people who are freaking out but appear normal.)

This is a quest driven Time Management game that seems to be targeted for tweens. It's a cute game, similar to Singing Monsters where you buy dragon eggs, hatch them, feed them, and collect the gems they bestow upon you. You can play in a Casual or Expert mode, and as you progress, you can unlock Survival and Endless modes.
You start out at day one, and are given quests to fulfil by the head honcho Dragon. You buy the eggs, collect the gems and then forge artifacts that can be sold. You can choose where to place each dragon nest, and eventually you can buy other creatures like Trolls, Gnomes, Whisps, Frogs and Imps. Each creature does a different task, such as Imps will clean up the cave and make more room for new dragons.
There are TM tasks such as feeding the dragons, and keeping the food racks full. Chests can hold gems, and jewelry can be forged.
This is a cute game, but for me, it got old and boring after a few days, (in the gaming world) If you like to take care of virtual pets or are looking for a lengthy game to keep the kids occupied, this game is perfect for that, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Kevin and his friends have set out on a magical journey to find magic armor to save the cursed King. Of course the Kingdom is full of obstacles at every turn to make this an epic journey adventure. I love this game just as much as the first, although it does tend to be a bit on the easy side as far as Time Management games go. You can play in a Timed or Relaxed, untimed mode, which is a feature I believe the first Fables of the Kingdom didn't offer.
The graphics are very well done in this somewhat easy Time Management/Strategy game. Each level has a specific set of goals to accomplish, to receive up to three golden stars. You will have to use strategy when constructing buildings, so that you will have enough resources to complete other tasks.
Roads must be cleared of pits, stones, and branches, broken carts must be disassembled and bridges repaired. You will have to collect food for needed energy to complete these tasks as well. Farms can be built to produce more food, Sawmills to produce wood, Gold mines for funds and Libraries to learn various spells. The spells are actually bonuses that when fully charged can be used to speed up the workers, make construction faster, or receive more resources. When you upgrade buildings you can get more workers or a larger supply of resources. The tasks are clear, and fairly easy to achieve, they are listed at the top of the screen so you can see your progress easily.
In the Collector's Edition version, there are Achievements available to earn, some of them have three different levels to achieve a bronze, silver and gold trophy, there are 6 Wallpapers and Extra Levels, but in my opinion, these extras are hardly worthy of the extra price, so I was happy to see the Standard Edition was finally available. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

This Match 3 game can only be described with one word, INSANE! If you have the need for speed, then you are going to love this latest Tisnart game. I wasn't a big fan of the first game which was too complicated and not at all fun. This game however is a fast paced game that takes me back to the days of Tetris (yes, I'm that old!) There are 5 different areas that have 24 levels each, starting out with Easy Peasy, and if this "easy" area is any indication, I'll never make it to the end, it's crazy busy, crazy fast, and crazy insane.
The goal is simple, click on groups of 3 identical tiles to remove them, and allow gravity to help you set up more matches. There is a bar that must remain on the board, just like Tetris, if it reaches the top, it's game over! The Creator Bar will automatically add a new row once it times out, or you can click on it to instantly add a new row. At the start of each level, the goals are given as to the specified amount of each colored tile that needs to be collected. Extra colored tiles are also collected in the form of coins which are used to purchase Power-ups as I'll explain in a moment.
You will be given Power-ups on the board that remove specific colored tiles in different directions, this can help you, but sometimes they destroy tiles that could have been helpful in setting up the next match. As you progress, power-up boosters become available such as the Multi-blaster which will cost 100 coins each time it's used. You will need to click and drag the Multi-blaster to a directional power-up that's available on the board. When you click on the power-up it then destroys the entire line. This can be used as often as you like but as I said, you'll have to use the coins you earn to pay for it.
Now all that sounds easy right? So where's the insane crazy part? Well, gravity works differently with Mr. Tisnart, some boards have tiles that start at the bottom of the board and grow upwards, some start at the top of the board, some start at the sides of the board, and some have split screens! To grasp how gravity affects the tiles, you'll have to reference the large arrow on the board, the smaller arrows inside the large arrow show you how gravity affects each board.
If you don't like fast paced games, don't even give this one a try. I haven't come across any Relaxed setting, so as far as I know, there's just one mode....wicked fast, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

What an addicting game this is! All ya have to do is run around the maze inside a pyramid, collecting coins and gems. Sounds really easy until the floor opens up and swallows you, lol. The idea behind the game is to gather the items needed, be it diamonds, puzzle pieces, etc. Anubis guards the exit and won't let you pass until you find his staff and bring it back to him.
If the tiles on the maze are red, look out, because you either have to time it right or move really fast because these tiles will open up and drop you back at the start! There are elevators that go up and down as indicated by white directional arrows, but you need to find the yellow arrow to exit the level. A compass shows you the shortest route, and really works when you find yourself hopelessly lost in the maze.
You may need to land on question marks that are circled in yellow, this will change the layout of the maze, which is necessary to complete the maze. Regular question marks that are lit up without a circle usually means a new task is given, and if you don't know what you need to do next, the question marked tiles will give you a nudge in the right direction.
This is a simple, but addicting game, and try as hard as you'd like, I bet you'll fall through the floor several times, good luck and enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Lakeside Murder isn't going to win any awards, the graphics are really old school, and the acting isn't all that great, but this game is certainly worthy of a coupon. The main character, Alicia Griffith, plays the part of a detective who needs a break from crime fighting. She has rented a cabin in a remote, quiet town, Turmville, thinking that surely, the crime rate is minimal. Naturally, that isn't the case, and to make matters worse, she's stuck with solving a murder because the local sheriff and his deputy aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.
There are 35 Achievements to earn, but that's about all the extra's you're going to find. There aren't any sidekicks, collectibles or morphs, there aren't even any Hidden Object Scenes, at least not in the demo, but there are a lot of mini games and puzzles to keep you occupied.
Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Move bolts up and down to align them, each bolt moved will move the next one in the same direction.
2) Use a UV flashlight to reveal partial symbols, you must find 3 matching colored symbols in a row.
3) Align 4 elements of the shape to reveal the image.
4) Place all elements in the correct places and then unlock the box by aligning the signs.
5) Align the dials on a lock so they spell the correct word, some letters are missing, some are partially scratched.
6) Drag and switch the red and green jacks locations in order to remove the tangled wrench.
I found it a bit annoying that Alicia was constantly talking, telling you about all her thoughts, and everything she needed or was about to do. Otherwise, if you don't mind old school type games, this is an okay game to pass some time, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

You should really give this game a try, although it's not an epic game, it has a somewhat original plot. The beginning starts out slow, but as you enter each of the Wolfgrins most terrifying realms, you realize just how imaginative this game is. After the demo, the puzzles become more challenging as do the Hidden Object Scenes. I bought this game in the Collector's Edition, but that's because I prefer the Collectibles and Morphs they offer. If you don't care for the extra's, this version is fine, but the collectibles and morphs are really well done in the CE.
After the death of John Wolfgrin, his entire family vanished. The only person left to tell a tale is the maid, and the things she's witnessed within the mansion, has left her nearly insane. John may have unwillingly released an evil entity when he discovered the key to unlocking a powerful Mayan tribal necklace, powered by the moon. This is what happens when you dabble with the unknown, but the bigger question is, can you restore the Moonlight Necklace in time to save the Wolfgrin family?
The Moonlight Necklace will allow you to travel through portals of each family member's imagination, their own personal little shop of horrors imaginations. These are worlds made up of their deepest fears, and let me tell you, little Chloe's fears are over the top, I'm almost afraid to move on to brother Ben! I have to tell you, I was totally bored with this game in the beginning few scenes of the mansion, but once I entered Fear Fest, it was game on!
In the Collector's Edition, each scene has a Hidden Crescent Moon, and they have done an incredible job with blending them into the scenery. Each scene also has a Morphing Object, and again, they aren't at all obvious, you will have to concentrate to find most of them.
The Hidden Object Scenes vary with different types such as Interactive List finds, Keywords in Sentence finds, Progressive Interactive finds and Silhouetted Shape finds. Some were very interactive and layered, the only downside was that some scenes are repeated.
The Mini Games are far too easy in my opinion, and many seem to be the same variance. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Assemble the totem on the center pole, lower parts can't be placed on upper totem parts.
2) Rotate circle discs to complete the image.
3) Choose symbols in the correct order.
4) Choose portraits in the correct order.
5) Select the crosshairs when they are in the green zone.
6) Move notes into correct positions, red is incorrect, yellow is close, green is correct.
7) Select circles when they are in green moving zones.
8) Close all of the bats' wings, clicking on one may affect others.
9) Swap masks to match their silhouettes.
10) Arrange dolls so that their are no matching ones horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
Stranded Dreamscapes games available:
Deadly Moonlight (4-22-17)
The Doppelganger (9-27-16)
The Prisoner (10-5-13)
The Collector's Edition has 12 Achievements to earn, 37 Morphing Objects, 40 Collectible Crescent Moons, 4 Music Soundtracks, 10 Wallpapers, 10 Sketches, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!
