The more patients that arrive, the slower I get, which clearly tells me I shouldn't be a nurse! Oh well, it's still a fun game! As you progress, other Hospital Clinics become available starting in Australia, then Mexico, Canada, Hawaii and New York. I love this Hospital themed Time Management game, and I'm glad this Standard Edition has finally been released, because I just can't see paying twice as much, just to get a few extra levels in the Collector's Edition.
Patients enter the clinic with their medical issue in a thought bubble, and then you drag them to a hospital bed, or a chair if no bed is available. (Once in a bed, the patient will no longer lose their "health") The nurse must then call a doctor or the Professor, each doctor has a specific expertise, the Professor can treat any condition. It is the nurse's job to deliver items requested by the doctor, such as getting medicine at the pharmacy or getting the patient's medical chart, or going to the warehouse for supplies, and the nurse must clean the bed sheets and dispose of them after each patient leaves. Each item takes up a slot on the nurse's tray which can be upgraded to hold more. A Converter is used to process some of the items, and will need to be picked back up by the nurse when it's ready.
Some patients need to be placed in a Treatment Chamber (sounds medieval?) others require further testing in the Laboratory. The Med-O-Matic Chamber can treat patients without a doctor (now that's more like it!) There is also a DNA matching Mini Game available.
Really the only extras the Collector's Edition seems to offer is a few Wallpapers, a few Bonus Levels and 40 Achievements, (35 of which are still offered in the SE version) Happy Clinic is a fun TM game, and just as fun in this Standard Edition, enjoy!

I love a good Match 3 game, my favorites are the Cradle of Rome series, Lauraville, and Jewel Match Royale. I also love it when the devs think outside the box to give us new features, some are fantastic features, and others just don't enhance the game, they make it less enjoyable. Rescue Quest Gold has one of those features that are more aggravating than enhancing. You can drag the board around, and zoom in and out, which in itself isn't all that bad, but for whatever reason, the board would zoom in and out all by itself at random times, and I was constantly having to readjust the boards position. Another feature that really annoyed my, was having to hear "move here" every time I wanted my Avatar to move in a different direction.
This is a Swap type Match 3 game, with Limited Moves and Time restrictions. Each level has the same goal, to make matches strategically, so that a path is cleared for the Avatar to reach and release the Spritelings. If the chosen path isn't necessarily the best route, you have to double-click tokens to make the avatar blaze a new path, and as I said, it can get annoying.
Matches of 4 or more tokens will earn you a Slash Token on the board to slash several tokens, matches of 5 or more tokens in an L or T formation will earn a Bomb token, and a match 5 in a row earns a Wild Token that removes several same colored tokens. As you progress you will unlock powerups that can destroy tiles in a column or row. Darker tiles require multiple matches to destroy them.
I'm sure this colorful game will be a hit for many gamers, but for me, it was boring and had too many annoying features that outweighed the entertaining features. I also don't see the need to pay twice as much money for a Match 3 game just to get 12 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art pictures, 8 Music Soundtracks, 56 Achievements and 10 Avatar pictures.

I was really excited when I read the title of this new series, Ghost Files: The Face of Guilt. Awesome, says I, a new paranormal game series about Ghosts! After downloading the game, my anticipation starts mounting, first things first, let's check out the "extra's," contain yourself says I. So I gather my excited wits, surely there are ghostly beyond objects, says I, aha!, er....wait a minute, where are the Collector's Edition extras? Well, turns out that you have to Buy the Game, Play the Game, and Yes, you actually have to FINISH THE ENTIRE GAME before you have access to anything! Now I understand what that stupid saying means that my Grandma used to always say, "you wouldn't buy a pig in a poke" I remember asking her, Grandma, what's a poke? Her reply, it's a bag, my next question, but Grandma, why did they put a pig in a bag? Her response, "exactly!" Hmf!?!
Now that the proverbial pig is out of its bag, or is it still in the bag? Anyway, let's just move right along to the story, Ghost stories! Wait, what? Ghost Files is about a serial killer? Okay, maybe I just haven't progressed far enough into the game, I'm betting that the serial killer has been dead for about 50 years, but he thinks he's still alive, I says to myself, keep playing! Nope, it still seems that the "Guilty Man" is very much alive. Ooh, ooh, I know the answer, Emily Hunter, the lead detective, is really dead, but she doesn't know she's dead and keeps coming to work, that's why she just ditched the Psychic, Julie Sanders, right? Wrong, she's apparently still alive too! So I keep doing my detective thing all over the city, suspecting that everyone I see, is just a ghost, but they keep disappointing me with their living, breathing, aliveness! By the end of the demo, I've come to the conclusion that I'm not going to see any ghosts, until.........I FINISH THE ENTIRE GAME, am I right?
The Hidden Object Scenes involve finding several ghosts. Actually none of that was true, they are just normal junk piles, consisting mostly of Interactive List finds or Progressive, Interactive Silhouetted Shape finds. You can opt to play an alternate Monaco Card Game of matching pairs of identical cards with ghosts on them. Okay that part isn't true either, there are no ghost pictures. You can make matches vertically, horizontally, diagonally or ghostly.
The Mini Games don't involve ghosts or files. Below are brief descriptions of some of the ghostly games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Turn the safe dial to the correct numbers and the correct direction, right, left or ghost.
2) Compare the 2 finger prints by dragging the microscope lens across the ghostly sample on the right, searching for unique marks given on the left side.
3) Compare the DNA of two ghostly blood samples by finding 3 pairs of matching microbes.
4) Use the ghost mouse to drag the ghostly chain along the line until you reach the ghostly hole on the right.
5) Select the 3 ghostly flowers from the fridge clue magnets on the padlock sliders.
This Collector's Edition has 22 Achievements to earn, 10 Collectible victim Pictures, Collectible Tarot Cards, 5 Forensic item collectibles, Wallpapers, Concept Art pictures, Movies and Cutscenes, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, and lots and lots of non-existent Ghosts!

Mahjong games are usually fun for about ten minutes, then they just get old and repetitive. It's the same game, the same features, the same tiles, same boring Mahjong tiles. But Mahjong Masters is actually different, because of its features, I felt like it had purpose, that there was a reason I needed to match the tiles. There are only two different tile sets to choose from, Simple Traditional Mahjong Tiles, and Themed Mahjong Tiles, and there are two different Mahjong Game types, Build The Temple (traditional Mahjong requiring you to uncover all Gold tiles) and Invoke the Deities (you make matches of Numbered Tiles whose sum will equal the number shown) It also has a decent storyline, that actually makes Mahjong sense!
The Kingdoms of the Northern Hills have been waging wars for so long, that only divine interventions would be able to stop them, at this point. The Temple of the Ten Gods, have suffered the effects of a war torn nation, and now lies in ruin. You are the soul survivor of a group of Scholars who have been sent on a treacherous journey, to speak with the Ten Gods, however, no god is willing to listen to a mortal whose people are responsible for the Temple's destruction! You must rely on the Magic Tiles to guide you on your quest to rebuild the Temple, and summon the gods to end the wars!
In "Build The Temple" Mode, you can choose any highlighted temple section, to start a new game. Each section tells you the requirements needed, in the form of building materials. For example, it may require 16 lumber, 20 gold bars and 11 units of coal to construct that section of the temple. The resources are actually just pictured on Gold Mahjong Tiles. Before the start of each level, several (not all) of the resource Gold Mahjong tiles are placed on the board where they will remain, and then the rest of the Mahjong Tiles are heaped on top and beside them. The goal is to uncover all of those Gold resource tiles to collect them. This is really just a Traditional Mahjong game, where you make matches of Identical tiles, that aren't blocked by other tiles. In this Temple mode. You can then choose to play the same temple section until all the required resources have been obtained, or you can choose another section to play, but you can't build the temple until all of its resources have been collected.
In Build the Temple mode, there is no Timer, but points that convert to stars, are deducted if you use the Hint feature (shows you an available Matching set of tiles) or the Magic Eye feature (shades all blocked tiles) If you don't use these features, you will earn bonus points. If you run out of available matches, you get two choices, Shuffle the remaining tiles at a cost of 1000 coins, or end the game, and replay the level with a new set of tiles, but the good news is that in Build the Temple Mahjong, there is no Timer, so its a fairly relaxing game.
In the second type of Mahjong, "Invoke the Deities" you are tasked with finding two unblocked Numbered Mahjong Tiles that when added together, their sum will equal the number shown at the bottom of the board. In this version of Mahjong, you are racing against the clock, to find the pair of tiles that equal each number given, one at a time.
The only feature I didn't like with Mahjong Masters, was that it's impossible to make matches quickly or back to back, because in either mode, it won't let you click on the next tile until the two tiles you chose previously, finish pairing! This is really annoying when playing Invoking The Deities, because it's a Timed Mahjong game, but maybe it's just me, enjoy!

Glass Masquerade has some of the most gorgeous puzzles I've ever seen, each puzzle is a work of art. These are Stained Glass puzzles that were created by 20th century artists, and each puzzle has a theme from a different country. The puzzles are created around a clock face, and the clock hands actually work, by keeping track of the time it takes you to complete the puzzle, but they aren't intended as a "race against the clock" feature, so you have all the time in the world to complete the puzzle. My only complaint is with that particular feature, because it would be nice to have the ability to stop the clock hands movement, which make the puzzles seem less relaxing in my opinion.
The Stained Glass fragments are located in circles around the clock face, and all of the fragments are presented to you, not just a handful at a time like the Mosaic Puzzles offer. There are 4 "Hint" fragments which are red and have a small ring n them, and they can be quickly added to the clock face on the border rings, but you can go into the options settings and turn this starting feature off.
The other Stained Glass Fragments are shown as a dark silhouetted shape without color, until you click on the frag to pick it up. After you pick it up, the frag will adjust itself, by flipping over to the position it will actually face on the clock. If you place it incorrectly, you won't be penalized, but the piece will return to the circle ring position it came from. The outer rings can be rotated to find other pieces that may be hidden from view.
Each Stained glass puzzle will show the range of difficulty at the start, on a scale of 1 through 5. You will start out with a clock puzzle theme in France, and other countries are unlocked as you progress. I love Stained Glass puzzles, and I love that I can relax while assembling these gorgeous works of art, enjoy!

Rachel and Fiona had just left the store when a speeding truck appeared out of nowhere, sideswiping young Fiona. Rachel rushes to her sister's side, only to find that she's not ALONE IN THE MIST, when a stranger appears, and then disappears with her baby sister! Rachel wanted to scream for help, but another man appeared out of nowhere, she froze, paralyzed with fear. Help is THE NOISE SHE COULDN'T MAKE, but the man assures her that he is here to help save Fiona. Rachel is told that her sister has been taken from REEL LIFE, by one of the three spirits of fate during a GAME OF GODS. To save Fiona, Rachel will have to pluck the STRINGS OF FATE, and leave the comforts of THE SOARING CITY behind, to discover the MYSTERY OF ANOTHER WORLD. Fiona has been taken to THE PANTHEON of the land of the forgotten where it doesn't take a VIRTUAL DETECTIVE to figure out this LOST TALE. Rachel only has one shot to save her sister before both sisters lose their memories in the land of forgotten. Just one chance, because you cannot RETURN TO ANOTHER WORLD that you don't even remember!
I'm sure this game will receive many 5 star ratings, but for me, the storyline wasn't interesting enough to merit 5 stars. Not only is the plot similar to many other games, it's also already been done in this series, in Game of Gods. As I was playing the demo, I found myself distracted a few times, looking outside the window, at the birds and horses, which is a good indication that the storyline can't immerse you wholeheartedly. It's a good game, but not epICc.
The Collector's Edition version doesn't have a whole lot of frills to offer, other than the usual Hidden Flowers (usually one red, one white in each scene) and 12 Morphing Characters. In my opinion, this Standard Edition version, is the better choice, because finding collectible flowers isn't worth paying twice as much money.
The Hidden Object Scenes are varied with Listed Item Finds, Silhouetted Shape finds and Multiples of a single item find. Some HOP's have a small Mini Game to solve, and some of the Mini Games are more like a HOP.
The Mini Games vary in difficulty, but nothing really challenging. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Drag items to the correct place in the scene during a short story.
2) Select a numbered path, 1-3 (scan over with mouse to see the projected path route) and click at the right time to avoid being caught by the guards.
3) Disable the infra red cameras in the correct order.
4) Connect the dots to recreate the picture shown on the instructions.
5) Arrange the figurines on the shelves so that no matching one shares the same row or column, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
6) Combine the stone halves in the center circle in the order shown on the clue. The top button rotates pairs the bottom button moves the pieces to the center circle.

Aaron and Ophelia were about to be joined in Holy Matrimony when the unthinkable happened. Ophelia became stricken with a disease, a magical disease, a deadly disease. Aaron tried every spell, and every potion imaginable, but they all failed to cure her, and the dark Lord of the Underworld collected her soul. Aaron vowed to save Ophelia, if Light Magic was incapable of saving her, Dark Magic surely would!
Pack your bags, we're headed for the Underworld to make the devil a deal! I've always been a fan of this, often overlooked series, which shows that Love is enduring, and has no boundaries, Love will move the heavens and the earth, Love will even enter the Land of the Dead to conquer its gatekeeper, Lord Phobos! I wasn't blown away by this storyline, however, because it lacks originality, and has been written and rewritten about a hundred times, in about a hundred different ways. I wasn't impressed with the Collector's Edition extras either, or lack thereof, because other than a handful of wallpapers and Vendel dev pictures, the only frill offered is 26 Hidden Heart Signs. You will use only one gadget, a Compass that helps you find caches hidden by magic. The compass isn't used a whole lot, and usually involves aligning symbols or places in the scene. There are no helpers or sidekicks, and I must admit I was a wee bit disappointed that Blaze didn't become my partner in crime, because Blaze is a really well animated, fire breathing Dragon Skeleton, nothing but bone, but really cool! (kudos to the VG animation and 2D graphic artist team!)
The Hidden Object Scenes are fairly well done, many of which are more of a Mini Game than a seek and find game. There are Interactive List finds which expose fragments to collect, Silhouetted Shape finds followed by replacing those objects you found into a different portion of the scene, and Multiples of the same item finds.
The Mini Games range from super easy, to medium difficulty, some of the games allow you to choose the difficulty mode of Casual or Hard. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Click on matching pairs of objects.
2) Swap adjacent tile sections to complete the image.
3) Select matching halves of keys, then choose the correct key to open the chest.
4) Restore the compass image by rotating the rings until all the lines match perfectly.
5) Find all of the witches' runes hidden on the map.
6) Press the correct dagger buttons as the falling bubbles pass through them.
7) Drag the parts into the center to complete the design, not all parts are used.
8) Select the scope when it turns green and then select the meter when the bar is aligned to throw the grappling hook.
9) Swap the doorknockers so that the rings match the faces.
10) Examine the scene and find four of each symbol shown during a story.
11) Place all of the marbles in their matching colored slots, pressing on the hexagonal tiles to rotate them.

Being a Mystery Trackers Agent can be very stressful. So stressful in fact, that your brain has shut out all memories of your current case, The Shadowfield Observatory missing persons case! This assignment should have been a piece of cake, but something must have gone terribly wrong, to cause amnesia. Your only hope of solving this case, is through hypnosis, to peel back the layers, buried deep within the mind. One thing's for sure, your partner Elf seems to know more than he's letting on, but he ain't talking!
The Mystery Trackers series has always appealed to me, especially in the beginning. As with most games in a long running series, Mystery Trackers hit a bump in the road to fame, with some less than stellar games. The problem was that in an attempt to make the games easy enough for beginners, they made the puzzles and game features too simplistic, making the games unappealing to even the beginners. I think Mystery Trackers finally made it over the bump in the road, with the last two games offered, they have redeemed their credibility!
There are really only two "sidekicks" that are must haves, Mr. Jenkins, and of course, Elf. Mystery Trackers would't be Mystery Trackers without the help of our little four legged pint sized agent. In this Collector's Edition version, there are plenty of extras to validate its worthiness. In fact, when I first discovered this series, back in the day, I couldn't get enough of theses games because of their highly entertaining extras, every MT games have them. There are Morphing Objects, 12 hidden Zodiac Symbols, and 40 Hidden Screen Tiles that will complete a stunning stellar picture when they are all found.
The Hidden Object Scenes are decent, but still don't compare to the earlier HO's offered originally. (the one's where objects were cleverly blended into the scene, not heaped on top of a giant pile of junk) There are Interactive List finds, Silhouetted Shape finds, Keywords in sentences and scenes where you grab items from the inventory bar and place them into the scenes logically. One HOP in particular was challenging because you have to scan two different constellation maps to highlight the images to find them. Back in the day, Mystery Trackers Hidden Object Scenes were unique, because they required you to toggle back and forth between inventory bars, because some HO interactions required items that you found during the main game!
The Mini Games are much less simplistic than they were previously, but still lean towards the easy breezy side. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Guide the tool chip along the tracks to the right side of the board.(all that work for a lousy screwdriver, everyone knows all you need is a coin!)
2) Move the elements across the board to place the symbols of Zodiac signs next to their matching images.
3) Remove the branches in the correct order.
4) Align the correct fittings by rotating the circle to match up halves.
5) Complete the image by rotating honeycomb shaped tiles.
6) Arrange the planets into one line, moving one planet may affect others.
7) Arrange the board according to the diagram, moving one sphere may affect others.
8) Use the pin to mark 3 different sized stars on the globe, click the globe to rotate it and drag the pin to move it.

Today's forecast calls for sunny skies, unless you're name is Dorothy! Poor girl, she doesn't even have time to drink her morning cup of coffee, before a violent tornado rips through her house! The good news is that Toto is fine, the bad news is that the house is no longer a home, the really bad news is, I don't think Dorothy is in Kansas anymore! Yep, you guessed it, her house has a new address, in the land of Oz. (I would like to point out that in the original movie, Toto is a Cairn Terrier not a Scottish Terrier, everyone gets that fact just as wrong as the saying, Toto I don't think we're in Kansas anymore)
Bridge To Another World has done it again! Dark Parables isn't the only game that knows how to put a twist on a classic fairytale! Escape from Oz however, isn't nearly as good as the last game in the series, Alice in Shadowland, because this game is too cliche, and it makes the plot seem more like a sarcastic comedy. I also found the graphics to be far more inferior from Alice in Shadowland. Instead of the wicked witches of the north, south, east and west, the land of Oz is protected by the wizards of the same origins. The problem is, that three of the wizards are missing (did anyone look under Dorothy's house?) and the last remaining wizard has agreed to send Dorothy home, but only after she finds three statues and returns them to the wizard in the Emerald city. The even bigger problem is, Dorothy isn't the only one searching for the statues.
You get two helpers to assist you in your journey down the yellow planked bridge, good ole Toto, and Frank. Toto is cute, and doesn't appear to be annoying, Frank, only communicates with Dorothy via a set of video walkie talkies (bluetooth must be fantastic in the land of Oz!) In the Collector's Edition version, each scene has 2 Scotty Coins to collect. When I say collect, that's exactly what I mean, because they aren't hidden, they are quite the opposite, more like, in your face visible. You can use these collected coins to buy virtual toys for Toto, as well as hats to dress him up. This is a feature I just don't get, I just don't see the appeal of buying fake toys to give to a fake dog in a fake room, from a house that's not even habitable anymore! And the hats? Why do I want to humiliate my poor virtual Toto? Besides the Walkie-talkie Frank feature, you will also have a pair of magical Goggles that can reveal details about various events, after you play a game of Spot the Difference, of course.
The Hidden Object Scenes are varied each time, with Interactive List finds, Multiple of the same item finds, and Placing items back into the scene. I actually enjoyed the HOP where you are tasked with finding 20 pumpkin seeds by interacting with bits and pieces of the scene.
The Mini Games are pretty easy but fairly entertaining. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Slide tiles to create an opening to allow a frazzled Toto to free himself.
2) Spot the 5 differences between both Goggle lenses.
3) Slide the direction stones to their correct areas based on compass points. Stones can only move to slots that are connected by lines.
4) Select various equation stones so that the shoes land on the lense.
5) Arrange the triangles to complete the image by selecting and dragging the triangles.
6) Recreate your attackers body using arrows and buttons to change the appearance and size of each portion of the image based upon the outlined clue.
7) Place the print token next to their corresponding creatures.

I agree with the other reviewer that this game is similar to the awesome Clutter series, but there's so much more than just finding objects in a cluttered pile. If you are like me, a Puzzle geek, this game will be right up your alley. I also agree that you don't get nearly enough time per puzzle, however, there are 3 different modes of difficulty, Very Casual allows you to play in a relaxed untimed mode, Casual gives you a normal Time Limit, and the Hard mode has 20% less time than the Casual mode.
The storyline is rather stupid, and it only progresses a sentence or two, after each solved puzzle, with no voiceover, just dialog boxes. It is a story told by Sarah, about when she was a child and her country was invaded by a mechanical army, and how their lives unfolded throughout her childhood. The storyline doesn't matter and won't affect the puzzle outcome.
There are several Jigsaw Puzzles of different variations such as Sliders, or oddly shaped puzzle pieces, and most of the Jigsaw Puzzles will give you an extra Hint to use during the clutter puzzles.
The Clutter type puzzles are variated as well, some requiring you to find Pairs of objects, Groups of 3 objects, or both, in a heaping pile of junk. Some of the cluttered puzzles start out heaped in the center, and you must drag items around as you search for matching pairs.
Each clutter pile has several Crystals that you simply click on to remove, but I'm not really sure what this does for you, I originally thought it would give you extra Time on the timer, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
It's no "Clutter" but I actually enjoyed this game. If you don't find all of the objects before the timer runs out, the same puzzle is given to try again, but the objects are usually different and the second time around seems to be more difficult than the first. In my opinion, this game is certainly worthy of a credit, enjoy!
