In ancient times, the Demon Lord unleashed his evil minions upon the world. The minions were destroyed by the Drakes of the North, and the Demon Lord was forced into exile. That was over ten thousand years ago, and the Demon Lord has returned, sending a harbinger of vengeance, a sickness that corrupts all dragons. It is said that only a pure Dragon soul can defeat the Demon Lord, one battle at a time.
I love battle type Match 3 games because it gives the Match 3 game a purpose, a reason to make matches strategically. Along your path, you will be challenged by the Demon Lords minions, such as the Hellhound, the Dark Dragon, the Centaur, the Dark Minotaur, the Twin Drake and the Fire Mage. To battle your enemies you will need to strategically match Fire tiles, Ice tiles, and Battle Axes to attack them. Matching Paw Prints will give your pet dragon (I'll explain him in a moment) the ability to protect you, the Sorceress. Winged shoes will boost your experience, which helps you to level up and become more powerful. After your every move, the enemy get a turn, and once the mana meters are full you can launch the attack, as can your opponent.
When you find an egg along your path, you will receive a new Dragon pet which can protect you during the battles. When you come across a Chest, you will play a Mini Game of sorts that allows you to to choose a tile to upgrade, you get a specific amount of tries to click on the rotating key when it is inside the yellow dot. Some of your opponents are resistant to some attacks, such as fire or ice, but because you aren't resistant to those attacks, it may still be a good idea to match them on your turn to prevent the enemy from gaining access to them. If you fail to beat your opponent, you will have to repeat the level until you do.
Quest of the Dragon Soul presents a nice challenge without being ridiculously difficult, or far too simplistic. If you like battle type Match 3 games, this one is well worthy of purchasing, enjoy!

Those jet setting penguins are off on another crazy adventure, to visit a magical Forest! There's never a dull moment when the penguins are on the move, so pack your griddler bags, it's time to explore, penguin style!
As usual Fantasy Mosaics 23 has 6 different color bubbles to work with, some of which are new, one of which reminds me of bubble gum. You can switch between the color bubbles to help you solve these colorful griddlers, and you can earn a Gold trophy if you make no mistakes, a Silver trophy if you make one mistake and a Bronze trophy if you make two mistakes.. You will also earn up to three gold Stars if you don't use any hints, one star is deducted each time you use a hint. Therefore, it is possible to make a mistake or two but still earn 3 stars as long as you don't use any available hints.
This is a griddler or mosaic type puzzle game (japanese crossword) where you fill in and cross off cells on various sized grids, using logic, so you'll never have to guess. (unlike some griddler games) They aren't easy puzzles to solve at times, but I love the challenge. If you are new to mosaic games, I suggest trying one of the earlier versions of Fantasy Mosaics. There are groups of numbers located on each column and row of the grid, each group of numbers must be separated by at least one blank or crossed off cell. Sometimes it's easier to figure out where numbers can't possibly fit to reduce the amount of cells and narrow the playing field down a bit. Some cells contain bonuses such as extra hints, extra mistakes allowed or an extra pickaxe which allows you to choose which cell you want a hint on. There is a Sun icon as well that when fully charged, will give you a mega hint, filling in or crossing off a 3x3 area of your choice.
The one feature that makes Fantasy Mosaics stand out from the rest of the griddler games, is the vibrant array of colors available, and now there's six different colors used to make the pictures even better. In this version, I think the pictures are really interesting, and I really love the way the colors pop. It can also help you solve the puzzle when you get stuck, because you can switch to another color which ultimately narrows down the available cells. Unlike many griddler games, these pictures actually make sense, because they have six different colors you know what image you have created.
This is my favorite Mosaic Griddler series and is one of the best mosaic griddlers available, and certainly one of the most colorful. This is a must have game for griddler geeks and an immediate purchase for this geek. I'm looking forward to my adventure into the magical forest, enjoy

I just finished playing Nevertales and I gotta tell you, it's 100% better than yesterday's puppet game! My little magical elevator took me from Nevertales to Nowheretales, the world of rejected books (sounds so sad doesn't it?) and I didn't even need to bring my doll with me! Mad head games has always been one of my favorite devs, and Nevertales always seem to have decent games in the series. In my opinion, the Collector's Edition version doesn't have a wow factor, so this version is perfectly fine. Here's a recap of my review to help you decide which version, if any is right for you:
While searching for escaped convict, Mark Taylor, Miss Chambers finds herself searching for answers about her own identity. Mark Taylor is one slippery dude, because he has found a portal that allows him to travel between the real world, and the fictional worlds that are the Heart and soul of books. Why is Mark Taylor systematically entering the Tale Worlds to collect the Heart of these stories? Even more importantly, why is it that Miss Chambers is always the sheriff in tale town?
Mad Head games has done it again! They have delivered yet another fantastic cutting edge game! All of their games are top notch games, Maze, Shadowplay, Adam Wolfe, Cadenza, Beyond, Dark Realm, Dawn of Hope, and Rite of Passage, need I say more? Jump inside this otherworldly Elevator, destination.....Nevertales, as your relentless pursuit continues, always one step behind the man who is responsible for stealing the items upon which our fictional stories are based. If he's successful, he'll erase all the boundaries between our world, and the Tale worlds! In Nevertales, you'll need to strap on you special Goggles to pinpoint areas of interest, normally I find these gadgets to be rather hokey and repetitive, but this particular gadget isn't that annoying, and it isn't actually used that often. In the Collector's Edition version, there are 9 Story based, 9 HOP based, and 9 Puzzle based Achievements to earn gold , silver and bronze awards, 17 Morphing Objects within the Hidden Object Scenes, and 36 Hidden "Heart of the Story" signs to discover. There are also 36 Treasure item to find in the bonus section.
The Hidden Object Scenes are varied with the usual, Interactive List finds and Silhouetted Shape finds which have the Mad Head staple feature of receiving fragments to a puzzle under each item, as well as a Morphing Object available in all 17 HOP's. However, there are also some new HOP styles, or at least twists on older styles, some of which are actually quite entertaining. (I used to love HOP's back in the day when items were blended into a scene, not just heaped on top of junkpiles) One of the HOP's I rather enjoyed was searching for missing elevator items within the books and pictures surrounding the elevator. I also liked finding items encrypted on a phone, that would complete the messages.
The Mini Games are fairly decent, some very simplistic, some a wee bit more complicated. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Change the symbols so they match the shape of their outline.
2) Press the elevator buttons to select the symbol fragments that will complete the symbol shown. (this game is repeated with each of the Tale Worlds you visit)
3) Move the lights so the color of the light matches the color of the ring around the bulb.
4) Rotate the inner and outer stones to create empty slots that match all of the displayed symbols and match them.
5) Search the locations until the horizontal and vertical lines intersect. (this game is repeated with each Tale World visit)
6) Select the fields on the larger circle so that only the green fields on the smaller circles are active.

It appears that AMAX Interactive games has merged with ERS (which actually happened with Redemption Cemetery EOE) and they aren't off to a good start. Puppet Show has run it's course, and it's time to call it quits, I can appreciate all the hard work the team has put into this game, but surely they realize the "wow" factor is gone, long gone! I thought this demo would never end, too bad it wasn't as short as Danse Macabre's demo, because this game flatlined from the get go, and went downhill from there.
This game has all kinds of crazy going on, first they have me choose my avatar character. There are 3 men and 3 women to choose from, I chose the brunette, yet near the end of the demo, I was challenged to a fist fight by a rather large male character! Moving right along, I'm introduced to my little puppet doll with a really annoying fake voice, all she needed was a heart and a name. Well actually she also needed a large overstuffed pillow, so am I seriously going to investigate this meteorite case while carrying around a tiny doll on a huge pillow? I carry my large pillow to the local Hotel to check the two of us in. On the staircase is a huge pile of random items, including a human skull, but this doesn't deter me in the least bit. Then I peek into the keyhole of my room, and see that I'm about to be cosbyed and now I start to worry. The clincher is when I pick up a sticky note to do list at the front desk that the clerk apparently wrote to help him remember to "off" me and the photographer. At least I can always watch my nameless doll dance, once I collect the TWO single Collector's Edition not so hidden musical Notes. I'm so glad there weren't THREE musical notes to find in the demo because I would be exhausted, I already have to lug around a giant pillow!
The Hidden Object Scenes are just as boring as the game, offering Interactive list finds, Silhouetted Shape finds, and Multiple finds, there are also smaller Zoom Zone scenes where you find 5 pieces of tape, exciting right?
The Mini Games are even more boring, below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Analyze special information from the chief, in the preschool manner of placing meteorite parts correctly.
2) Complete the lava puzzle by placing puzzle pieces into their correct highlighted shapes.
3) Recreate the shapes from the doorframe by using 4 different rotational buttons.
4) Hook the emblem when both indicators are in the target zone.
5) Repair the Hotel key by selecting parts from other keys.
6) Lead the key to the center by clicking on the key when a break occurs in the maze.
7) Defeat your opponent in a Match 3 battle type game.
8) Drag the water emblem through the shape without touching the parameter.
9) Connect all dots in a continuous line crossing each line once.

fromWhy is the four wheeler running? Why is the kitchen faucet running? Why is the GPS so cheap I have to put the map together first? Why are Min Pins called little elves????
This "Top Reviewer" is one of our most frequent game reviewers. We think you'll trust what they have to say and find their reviews helpful and informative.
Most of the games offered lately, haven't been able to hold my attention all the way through to the end, much less the bonus chapter. I really wasn't expecting to get into this game wholeheartedly, but I was pleasantly surprised, it's a decent game! I even did a little research about my little buddy, Elf. I wanted to know why the devs chose such an odd name for the little Miniature Pinscher helper. Turns out that the idea for this series was originally going to be a twisted fairytale theme, but ended up evolving to the Mystery Trackers Agency. After seeing a MinPin, the team decided to incorporate this quirky little breed, and supposedly, this breed was referred to as little elves, so the name stuck. I've never heard this nickname, and I have owned and operated a grooming salon for over 30 years, and I could find nothing that links elves with min pins, so perhaps someone could fill me in on this little known secret! The Zwergpinscher is a common reference as is the King of Toys, (pinscher describes the dogs way of hunting vermin) but for now, I still have no idea why Elf is named Elf. Here's a recap of my review to help you decide which version, if any, is right for you:
Being a Mystery Trackers Agent can be very stressful. So stressful in fact, that your brain has shut out all memories of your current case, The Shadowfield Observatory missing persons case! This assignment should have been a piece of cake, but something must have gone terribly wrong, to cause amnesia. Your only hope of solving this case, is through hypnosis, to peel back the layers, buried deep within the mind. One thing's for sure, your partner Elf seems to know more than he's letting on, but he ain't talking!
The Mystery Trackers series has always appealed to me, especially in the beginning. As with most games in a long running series, Mystery Trackers hit a bump in the road to fame, with some less than stellar games. The problem was that in an attempt to make the games easy enough for beginners, they made the puzzles and game features too simplistic, making the games unappealing to even the beginners. I think Mystery Trackers finally made it over the bump in the road, with the last two games offered, they have redeemed their credibility in my opinion.
There are really only two "sidekicks" that are must haves, Mr. Jenkins, and of course, Elf. Mystery Trackers wouldn't be Mystery Trackers without the help of our little four legged pint sized agent. In the Collector's Edition version, there are plenty of extras to validate its worthiness. In fact, when I first discovered this series, back in the day, I couldn't get enough of theses games because of their highly entertaining extras, every MT games have them. There are Morphing Objects, 12 hidden Zodiac Symbols, and 40 Hidden Screen Tiles that will complete a stunning stellar picture, once they have all been found.
The Hidden Object Scenes are decent, but still don't compare to the earlier HO's offered originally. (the one's where objects were cleverly blended into the scene, not heaped on top of a giant pile of junk) There are Interactive List finds, Silhouetted Shape finds, Keywords in sentences and scenes where you grab items from the inventory bar and place them into the scenes logically. One HOP in particular was challenging because you have to scan two different constellation maps to highlight the images to find them. Back in the day, Mystery Trackers Hidden Object Scenes were unique, because they required you to toggle back and forth between inventory bars, because some HO interactions required items that you found during the main game!
The Mini Games are much less simplistic than they were previously, but still lean towards the easy breezy side. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Guide the tool chip along the tracks to the right side of the board.(all that work for a lousy screwdriver, everyone knows all you need is a coin!)
2) Move the elements across the board to place the symbols of Zodiac signs next to their matching images.
3) Remove the branches in the correct order.
4) Align the correct fittings by rotating the circle to match up halves.
5) Complete the image by rotating honeycomb shaped tiles.
6) Arrange the planets into one line, moving one planet may affect others.
7) Arrange the board according to the diagram, moving one sphere may affect others.
8) Use the pin to mark 3 different sized stars on the globe, click the globe to rotate it and drag the pin to move it.

This game is a screaming banshee no for me for several reasons. First of all, I had a hard time making it through the demo because it has no challenge whatsoever. Secondly, this demo hit a record for being the shortest demo ever, I took my time and still had 45 minutes left of the 90 minute trial! Thirdly, (is there such a word?) the game had some incredible feats, by incredible, I mean ridiculous impossible feats. At one point I actually threw a rope across the ravine, and as luck would have it my teeny tiny carabiner landed on the teeny tiny hook, on my first attempt! This is the same hook that I had to find a saw to cut the carabiner from a swing, it's a carabiner, why didn't I just push the clasp and remove it from the rope?
Well, we have yet another screaming Banshee, the Irish harbinger of impending doom, whose presence means a family member will soon perish. She seems more like a Piroshedevil to me,, she can light fires pretty good, but not once did she scream, not even, FIRE! Anyway, it looks like daddy O'Connor has some splaining to do, where was he hanging up his tap shoes back in the day?
The Hidden Object Scenes are super simple and super boring. We start out with finding items that match keywords of newspaper articles about the rise and fall of the Irish Step-dance King who joined forces with his brother, otherwise known as Uncle Pat (but I'm starting to suspect my last name is Banshee) Eventually you'll work your way through several piles of junk to find Silhouetted Shapes, some of which look nothing like their silhouette, the old familiar task of finding 5 of two different identical items which will give you a tool to open up the List, and a small Zoom Zone HOP where you must find Multiples of the same items. There is a Morphing Object to find in most of the HOP's, and there is an alternate Match 3 game to play.
The Mini Games are super easy, and most can be solved on the first attempt, just like the rope throwing thingy. (thingy is a real word I'm pretty sure) Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during this very brief demo:
1) Move the feet along the lines, using extra spaces, so they line up in their matching numbered slots.
2) Press start and click on corresponding dance move buttons when the dropping dance moves are within the green zone.
3) Recreate the tiles image so it consists of a continuous straight line.
4) Arrange notes by dragging them according to the music sheet, clicking on the notes will rotate them.
5) Attach the rope hooks to the tent stakes on the ground by selecting circles to move them either up or down with the specified amount of moves shown.
6) Lead the rope across the pattern in a continuous line, selecting the X button to attach the rope, which cannot cross more than once.

Chicago might be burning, but the fire burning inside Detective John D's vengeful heart is hotter. The Mafia is getting worried, because this detective has nothing left to lose!
This is an ordinary Match 3 game with a decent story, nothing new is offered except for the story part. The music is extremely annoying and I had to turn if off. There are the usual tasks of breaking crates, chains etc. and large matches will give you a Sun bonus which is practically worthless.
As you progress, you will rebuild damaged Chicago buildings, which in turn give you a resource or a "Tool" such as a Hammer or Grenade. The explanation blurb about these tools will disappear instantly if you happen to make a match the second the tool recharges and tells you what the tool does.
I just didn't find this Match 3 game all that thrilling, but I'm sure it will please many gamers with the story alone.

I love a good Time Management game, and I'm sure this game will appeal to a lot of gamers, but for me, it just wasn't all that fun. I can't really even pinpoint what it was that turned me off, I actually liked the graphics, maybe it's just the fact that lately BF has been releasing these games in Collector's Editions. It wouldn't be worth twice the price of a Standard Edition, even if it was fun. The only thing you get in this version is some Music, cartoonish Concept Art pictures and Achievements to earn, I'll roll all of those features into one category, who cares! It doesn't even have a Strategy Guide built in, which would somewhat constitute the CE price.
There are the usual tasks to perform of gathering resources of Food, Wood, Ore, Gold, Lumber, and the usual buildings to repair such as Huts for workers, Sawmills for Lumber, and a Blacksmith. At least in the demo, you don't get the chance to construct new buildings, you just repair them, personally, I like the strategy of figuring out which building to construct strategically to achieve the goals. (eg: Rescue Team)
I would recommend this game to those who haven't played a lot, if any, TM games, because this one is very easy to play. I would also recommend this game to those who want to play in an untimed mode, because unlike Bloom, this game has an untimed mode. However, I would still recommend that you wait until the SE is released before purchasing.

Bloom! is a fantastic click and drag type Time Management game, however, this one is the same as the other two in the series. Nothing has changed as far as I can tell, except for the types of flowers offered. If you own either of the other two, you're probably going to be disappointed, if not, you'll probably love it, if you don't mind the click and drag feature.
There are six different countries to visit, the United States, France, New Zealand, Netherlands, Denmark, and Japan, with 12 different Achievements to earn along the way! The goal is simple, serve your customers as fast as you can, while keeping them happy (as indicated by the amount of hearts shown) so that they will leave you a big tip.
When the customers come in, they will have an image of what they want inside a thought bubble, and you click on the customer to drag them to their desired location. They may want to sit down in a cozy chair and drink a glass of orange juice or read a flower magazine first. Once seated, you deliver the necessary items and you will have to refill the orange juice container occasionally and pick up the dirty glasses when they leave. Next step is choosing a vase, you drag the customer to the vase chair and a pop up window appears with several vase options, scan over the vases until the customer smiles and click on that vase. Next step is the bouquet department, drag the customer to that station, another pop up window will display flowers, and you'll need to click on the flowers the customers thought bubble shows, in order, and if they want an accessory, you'll need to drag them to that booth, otherwise, just collect their money at the cash register.
The flowers won't reproduce on their own, so you must constantly grow a new supply while waiting on the customers. The bottom right is your garden, first click the icon to plant the seeds, when that is done, a watering can icon will appear so you can water the flowers, the final step is to cut the bouquets when the scissors appear, and the Flower Booths will automatically refill, you may need to repeat the process throughout the day.
At the end of each level, you will get the opportunity to purchase upgrades, more chairs, more flower bouquets, items to make customers happier, such as a Keychain to give to customers to add a heart, Fragrance Candles to add a heart to each customer, a Jazz Radio that when playing will give all customers the maximum amount of hearts, a Butterfly Cage, that when opened, will make the customers leave a better tip upon exiting, and Bouquet Rain, to make it rain flowers to give everyone. You can even hire employees to help Jasmine with the customers, at the different Flower Stations available.

There is a quick tutorial for the first level that will show you how to play this game, and it really is an easy (but very addictive) game to learn. The hard part is mastering TM games, because each level gets progressively faster, and more tasks are constantly being added as you get more and more customers. Steer clear if you're not a fan of fast paced games, because I didn't see an option for a Relaxed Mode of Difficulty, otherwise enjoy!

I beta tested this game several months ago, and I couldn't wait for it to be released. I own every game in this series, and it's one of those games that, although it isn't necessary, it's very helpful, to start at the beginning (New Horizon/Standard Edition only) to get the big picture. The Secret Order is The Order of The Griffin, an order dedicated to ridding the world of evil, which usually centers around the nefarious Dragon Clan, and its leader, Quiron. The only feature I'm disappointed in, is the fact that the famous Royal Griffin, no longer exists. The one and only feature that set this game apart from all other games and made it unique, was that Sarah Pennington traveled through time aboard this mighty ship, and now its gone, gone, gone! I think this series is still relevant, but has lost some appeal because of the disappearance. I always buy the CE version, because I enjoy the morphs and collectibles, so here's a recap of my review to help you decide which version to buy, if any:
Sarah Pennington is a modern day Time Traveler with The Order of the Griffin, a secret organization her father founded. Her mother joined the Order to protect the helpless, and volunteered her medical services in the Amazon basin, her mission....sabotage! The Order was created to thwart the nefarious deeds of its nemesis, The Dragon Clan. Sarah's mother has been searching the Amazon for a flower of miracles, a flower that if possessed by the wrong person, could become a deadly flower! Mom has been searching for THE Flower of Life, a flower that cures ALL illness! Looks like Sarah is back on the job, because the Dragon Clan has kidnapped mom, claiming that they will return her unharmed in exchange for the flower of life. We're about to find out what will happen if the Flower of Life falls into the wrong hands!
Hold on to your computer chair folks, this is going to be an amazing Amazon adventure! The graphics are stunning, and I loved every second of this game, the sights the sounds, and the beautiful Amazon wildlife. I didn't hesitate to purchase the Collector's Edition version, for the abundance of Collectible Animals, Hydroplane Posters and all those Morphing Amazon Critters. Eventually you will take possession of a Cube artifact which will give you 3 special powers after playing a mini game. A small monkey takes a liking to you, and he will assist you when you need something that's too high to reach, but he's fairly realistic and unobtrusive, in my opinion, he's not annoying in any way.
Where has The Secret Order been hiding lately? (apparently the Amazon) This series is fantastic, but it's hard to keep up with the storyline when they take so long in between releases, New Horizon was released in December of 2011, then we waited for 2 years before Masked Intent was released March 2013. Ancient Times followed in it's footstep a year later in April of 2014, Beyond Time the following year March 2015, and last game was released in May of 2016, The Buried Kingdom. I guess all that waiting has paid off, because they took the time to get it right!
The Hidden Object Scenes are mostly Silhouetted Shape finds, some are the Progressive Interactive ones, but there are also the standard Listed item finds, and one scene where you are tasked with finding items and following instructions that mom gives you. If you're not into HOP's, there is a Pair Matching game to play instead.
The Mini Games are plentiful, and none of them seem too difficult to solve. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:
1) Follow ingredient clues, mix to achieve the correct color, then use a 5 oz. and 3 oz. beaker to achieve the correct amounts of each color.
2) To use the cube's power. move the lens around the scene to reveal and select each symbol shown on the lens frame to reveal hidden places.
3) Recreate the colored symbols from the paper by using the colored wires to connect two different shapes that when combined will form the correct symbols.
4) Escape the burning plane by interacting with the scene.
5) Enter the correct combination by first solving the match equations and applying those color coded sums.
6) Put the discs into their correct places by swapping tiles.
7) Find the object that matches the keywords in a story and then place those items correctly.
The Collector's Edition has 7 Collectible Hydroplane Poster Magazines by Dale Kingsley, 7 Collectible Parrot statues, 7 Collectible Alligators statues, 7 Collectible Panthers statues, 7 Collectible Chameleon statues, 24 Achievements to earn (12 skill based-12 story based), 20 Morphing Objects to discover, replayable Mini Games and Hidden Object Scenes, 15 Wallpapers, 9 Music Soundtracks, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Adventure, enjoy!
