REVIEW FROM COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
You play Donna Brave to find the Strangler of Paris which takes place in the 1920s. This is not a bad game, however the story line is something we have seen many times before. I did love the HOPs and mini-games though. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Seeker, Adapt, Master, Secret Master and Alchemist modes;
* Interactive map;
* Journal;
* Use of the memory medallion.
The graphics are great - lots of colour and sharp to the eye. I loved roaming around each scene. Sound is good and the music is orchestral (and piano in the HOPs).
There are a terrific variety of hidden object games - some slighter harder than others. I really enjoyed them. There is one morphing object per HOP which always has a good challenge. Just remember to check the whole screen - you just never know where one might be.
I loved the mini-games. None of too hard or frustrating. Most only take a few minutes to do.
You will have the use of a memory medallion and each time you use it, you will be given an item to use. There are quite a few of them to do, however it is just finding parts of an item, so just move the mouse slowly around the screen.
So, do you get the CE or SE? In the CE there are 33 swirls to find; 10 Achievements (some with 3 stars); a super HOP and all the usual bling bling that we like. Personally, I think the SE will suffice perfectly.
Overall, not an original game but will definitely fill in an afternoon. Each scene has plenty of tasks to do, which I liked.
Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
I loved this game and it was fun to catch up with some of the characters from the previous Lost Land games. Once again, you play Susan in the main game and the bonus is about Maaron and Fulner. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Advanced, Hard and Custom modes of play;
* Interactive map;
* Diary;
* 21 Achievements;
* Find 30 morphing objects (in main game);
* Find 7 Gloves, 8 Icicles, 8 Owls, 7 Stained Glass, 13 Books (in the main game) and 12 Horses (in the bonus game).
The graphics are spectacular - colourful, well defined and perfect on the eyes. I loved roaming around each beautiful scene never knowing what to expect next.
Sound is very good and the music is orchestral.
The hidden object games are highly interactive silhouette where you find one item to use to find another, etc. These had a good challenge to them and I enjoyed all of them. Each ones takes about 5-10 minutes to do.
There are a huge variety of mini-games to play - some of which are very challenging. The first mini-game threw me into a spin - what looked so easy took me 30 minutes to conquer! The fairy mini-game with the laser beams also took me a while as well. All the mini-games are fun to do and there were a few I hadn't seen before as well. I played them all and really enjoyed them.
There are 30 morphing objects to find in the main game. If you choose Custom mode then you can turn off the "hand" to make it more challenging to find, which I did. Keep an eye out for all the other collectibles to find in each scene as well. Get them all and you get achievements for each of them.
The interactive map works well in you need it. There are lots of locations to go to. However, it is easy to remember where tasks are to do.
All up the game, bonus and extras took me over 10 hours to complete, so well worth your hard-earned money.
Overall, a fabulous game to play and I really enjoyed it. The story line, graphics and challenge makes this game series one of my favourites. Well done FiveBN Games - you rock.
Definitely comes recommended. Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Easy, Medium, Hard and Custom modes;
* Interactive map;
* Find 43 morphing objects in game and bonus;
* 12 Achievements (some with 3 stars)
The graphics are very good - everywhere is clear to see and to grab the items you need. Sound is good and the music is orchestral which just plays quietly in the background.
The hidden object games are interactive straightforward, fragments, finding morphing objects and silhouette. These are very easy to do and each one takes only a couple of minutes. I enjoyed these.
The mini-games are all incredibly easy, with some only taking seconds to do. I didn't see any new or unique ones, but I enjoyed doing them all again.
I didn't need to use the interactive map at all because you are roaming around undertaking tasks in only a couple of scenes, so there was no point in using it. However, do use it once because you get an achievement if you do.
There are 43 morphs to find throughout the game and bonus. These are easy to spot and I made sure I grabbed them first before doing anything else just in case I forgot. Get them all and you get an achievement.
All the game took me around 5 hours, including the souvenir room at the end.
Overall, a pleasant game in fill in an afternoon without giving too much thought and just want to chill out. However, for the hard core challengers out there who want to blow some neurons, this game is far too easy.

You play Christine to rescue your nephew Timmy Wester.
There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Slumber, Deep Sleep, Nightmare, Night Terror and Sleepwalk modes;
* Journal;
* Interactive map.
The graphics are gorgeous with plenty of colour and everywhere is well defined and easy on the eye. The music is orchestral and just plays quietly in the background.
There are a good variety of hidden object games, a couple of which are interactive straightforward and find special words in sentences. Items are clear to see and grab and each one only takes a couple of minutes to do. There is one morphing object per HOP which always has a good challenge.
The mini-games are all very easy to do, so no frustration or boredom will set in. Most only take a few minutes at most to do.
So, do you get the CE or SE? The bonus game is about an old nemesis from a previous game, there are 31 swirls to find, 10 Achievements (some with 3 stars), mega HOP, jigsaw puzzle plus all the other bling bling.
I didn't think much of the acting in this game - I thought that Christine and Timmy were too relaxed considering they were in a nightmare. I expected more screaming and then running. The doggie monsters made me burst out laughing - give me zombies any time.
Overall, a nice time filler but it lacked character and that feeling of having to find out what happens next. However, I did enjoy the HOPs and mini-games.
Have a look and see what you think.

There are 33 swirls to find throughout the game and bonus. These are easy to spot, however you can do them later in the Extras if you don't feel like finding them or miss any during your travels.
This time I managed to get all the Achievements (woo hoo). I don't normally accomplish that. However, I did do the HOPs again in the Extras to make sure that I got 3 stars for each.
In the Extras you can replay the memory game and there is an ultimate puzzle to finish everything off.
All up the game and bonus took me about 5 hours.
Overall, not an original game but will definitely fill in an afternoon. Each scene has plenty of tasks to do, which I liked.

REVIEW FROM COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
You play Research Consultant, Alicia Cole, to rescue your daughter, Maya.
This really is a good game. There is plenty to do, and I loved the HOPs and mini-games. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Enthusiast, Archeologist, Conservator, Lecturer and Curator modes;
* Interactive map;
* Use of magical lens.
The graphics are gorgeous - colourful and crystal clear. It was fun roaming around each scene, not knowing what to expect next. Sound is good and the music is mainly orchestral.
The hidden object games are a blast. It also had my favourite one with the sliders at the top and side and you have to blend the pictures together. Each HOP has a morphing object to find as well - and we all know that these can be a challenge to find.
I enjoyed all of the mini-games. The two maze mini-games I liked the best as these had the most challenge. None are too hard or frustrating.
You will have the use of the magical lens which is on the bottom left of your screen. It will glow when you need to use it. Two circles pop up and you need to combine the two circles to fire. You just need a little patience to wait until they close together before you fire.
I found I didn't need to use the interactive map at all as you are only going to a couple of scenes at a time before you move on.
So, do you get the CE or SE? In the bonus game you play Maya to free the mark of the Shadow Realm, which takes another 1 hour or so. There are 11 Achievements (some with 3 circles), 36 collectible items, Treasure Hunt, ultimate HOP and puzzles.
All up the game and bonus took me about 4 hours.
Overall, an exciting game to play, however I wouldn't call it an intense thriller - more of an adventure. Its not scary or intensively plays with the mind (work does that!).
Definitely comes recommended. Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
This truly is a wonderful game and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The main game is about Lana finding the Nucleus and the bonus takes place 1 year later. Its a full on adventure game with plenty to do in each scene. I loved all the characters and that feel of urgency to find out what is going to happen next.
There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Easy, Medium, Hard and Custom modes of play;
* Interactive map;
* 14 Achievements (some with 3 circles);
* Find 32 fairies in game and bonus.
The graphics are superb - colourful and clear. Sound is very good and the music is orchestral.
The hidden object games are mainly interactive straightforward and silhouette. I thought in this game that they had a good challenge to them. There is one morph per HOP and I spent ages trying to find them - some were very elusive. Make sure you check the entire screen and not just what is in front of you - as I found out!
I loved the mini-games. Finally some challenging ones to conquer. Five HOPs particularly stood out and took me a long time to defeat them. I was in heaven.
There is 32 fairies to find throughout the game and bonus. These are easy to spot, however you can collect them all later in the Extras if you don't feel like looking for them or you miss any.
I managed to get most of the Achievements, but will need to do the HOPs again in the Extras to try and get 3 stars. I only have 2 stars in most of them. I loved doing the ultimate HOP - that's one of my favourites.
All up the game, bonus and extras took me about 8 hours, so very good value for money.
Overall, a terrific game. The second game to this is coming out shortly and I will definitely be buying it straight away. Well done devs.
Happy playing fishies - this is a gem.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME
You have Easy, Casual and Expert modes of play and a diary, however there are no voiceovers or a map.
The graphics are very dark and blurry at the beginning of the game, but do get slightly better when you go outside. If they had been more sharper to the eye, this game would have been so much better. I really don't mind bad graphics in a game, but it has to have a great storyline and that feeling of urgency to find out what happens next. Unfortunately, I didn't feel it in this game.
The hidden objects are straightforward and putting items back. However, they are very cluttered without much colour and so its hard to see where items are. You will do each HOP twice.
The mini-games are all very easy and you don't need to spend much time on them.
In all locations, you will see circles pop up and you will need to find items to fill them up to get what you need. I kept them open in each scene so I could remember what was needed.
All up the game took me about 4 hours to play, but it was a struggle to finish it.
I suggest you trial before you buy to see if it is for you.
I don't recommend this game.

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME
In this game you play Helen and you are off on an adventure of a lifetime. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Adventure and Challenge modes of play;
* Interactive map;
* Diary;
* 12 Achievements;
* Find 7 Bronze, 14 Silver and 21 Golden skulls.
The graphics are predominantly okay, but it would have been better it they had been just a bit sharper as they seemed a bit blurry for me. However, I was able to navigate through the game without any problem.
Sound is good and the music is orchestral.
There are no hidden object games here - this is purely an adventure game - but so much fun.
There are a great variety of mini-games to play. Most of them are easy but a couple took me a while to do - where you need speed and precision clicking. I played and enjoyed them all.
Find all the Bronze, Silver and Golden skulls and you get an achievement. Keep an eye out for them cause some of well hidden.
Make sure you read the diary as there is useful information in there to move forward and you also get an achievement.
This is quite a big game with lots of locations, so the interactive map works well and takes you straight there. If you get stuck, just look in the interactive map and it will show you where tasks are to do (this is in Challenge mode as well).
Once again, as with 'Tales of Dragon Mountain 2 - The Lair' and 'Myths of Orion - Light from the North', there are portals to go through to undertake tasks. These are a lot of fun and I loved going through these never knowing what to expect next.
All up the game took me a good 7 hours to complete, not skipping or hinting anything, so great value for money.
Overall, a fun action-packed game with lots to do. Cateia make great games and I look forward to playing their games in the future.
Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!
