I really enjoyed this game. There's plenty to do in each scene and a real urgency to help Mark. The main story is about you (Erica Bale) helping your brother Mark to get off Ambrose Island. The bonus is about Mark stopping the horrible experiments once and for all. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Accident, Hazard, Disaster, Catastrophe and Custom modes; * 10 Achievements (some with 3 circles); * Find 1 spiral in each scene throughout game and bonus; * Interactive map; * Extras like an ultimate puzzle; ultimate HOP, etc.
The graphics are gorgeous and each scene is perfect and well defined. Colours are muted, so not hard on the eyes. The music is mainly orchestral, guitar and piano.
The hidden object games are interactive silhouette, straightforward, finding pairs and my ultimate favourite, the sliders (where you have a slider going downwards and one going across and you have to blend certain objects). Keep an eye out for that ever elusive morphing object in each HOP. Get them all and you get an achievement. You can go back and redo all the HOPs once the game is finished to get 3 stars. I only managed to get 2 stars in some of the HOPs because some take a while to do. However, I loved them all.
The mini-games ranged from being very easy to medium. A couple (like pass through all the tiles with arrows and match the lines to make a picture) took me a while to achieve. Its not like they are too hard, but there are a lot of variables to finally get to the end. These are all good fun to do and I was never bored.
At the end of the game you can play the ultimate puzzle, ultimate HOP and replay any of the HOPs to try and get 3 stars. You can also collect any spirals that you missed or decided to do all at once in the Extras as well.
All up the game, bonus and extras took me about 5 hours to do. I really enjoyed playing the game and looked forward every day to playing it.
Overall, its definitely worth investing in this game as it has everything that we want - good graphics, enough of a challenge to want to keep playing, terrific HOPs and mini-games - yep very happy.
Definitely comes recommended. Happy playing fishies.
You play Nathan, who is engaged to Elaine, who has a brother called Theo. Its a race against time to rescue both.
There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Novice, Artist, Virtuoso, Maestro and., Improviser modes; * Interactive map; * Objectives book; * Cryptex to go to different locations.
The graphics are spectacular - colours are great, well defined and every scene is clear to see. The music is mainly orchestral and piano.
The hidden object games are mainly interactive straightforward, silhouette, putting items back and symbols. Items to find are clear to see. Watch out for that one morphing object per HOP which always has a good challenge.
Most of the mini-games are very easy. There were a couple that took me longer to do which was the bottles game in the bonus and navigating tiles with directional arrows to get from A to B. However, these are all very accomplishable. I enjoyed playing them all.
I didn't use the interactive map at all because there are only a couple of scenes to accomplish before moving on.
So, do you get the CE or SE? In the CE, the bonus game is about you playing Elaine this time who has to rescue Nathan who has been turned into .... a doll! There are 33 collectibles to find throughout the game and bonus which are a couple dancing. These are huge and very easy to spot. There are 10 Achievements (all with 3 circles in each). In all honesty, I think the SE is the better choice.
All up the game, bonus and extras took me about 6 hours, so good value for money.
Overall, its pretty much a standard game with nothing unique but will fill in a couple of hours each night during the week. I didn't much like the story line as its been done a hundred times before. However, I did enjoy the HOPs and mini-games.
Recommeded if you feel like chilling out and feeling like an easy game to play.

This is a great fast paced who dunnit mystery. In the main game you play Alfred Fox, a Private Investigator, on the hunt for the killer of Barbara (an old flame) who worked for the Daily Chronicle. The bonus game takes place 5 years earlier where you are framed for murder: There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Casual, Advanced and Expert modes of play; * 20 Achievements; * Interactive map; * Objectives book; and * Find (in main game only): - 11 men's footprints; - 13 handprints; - 8 women's footprints; - 1 fingerprint.
The graphics are terrific. Colours are well defined and each scene is crystal clear. Sound is good and the music is mainly orchestral and piano.
The hidden object games are interactive straightforward, silhouette, finding and using items and finding parts of items to make them whole. There are also morphing objects in each HOP as well. These are all very easy to do and each one takes a couple of minutes. However, if you don't feel like playing the HOPs, then you can play Shuffle instead.
There are a good variety of mini-games which are all very easy. We have seen them all before, however I enjoyed doing them again.
Each scene has the foot and handprints to find. These are easy to spot, so you should get the achievement for this.
I found I didn't need to use the interactive map at all because there are only a couple of scenes to undertake tasks before moving on.
All up the game and bonus took me about 4 hours. Its not a long game, however there is plenty happening and you are busy in each scene.
The graphics are very good. Everywhere is clear to see and no blurry bits. Sound is good and the music is piano and chanting.
The storyline is easy to follow, which follows on from the earlier 'Greed - The Mad Scientist'. There is also 'Greed - Forbidden Experiments' to play as well.
The hidden object games are straightforward and silhouette which you will do twice. Items to find are clear to see and each HOP only takes a couple of minutes to do.
I enjoyed the mini-games. Honestly, these are very easy to do. The instructions are clear, so no problems solving them. They are your normal run of the mill mini-games that you will have seen all before.
Overall, even though it is a very basic game, I still enjoyed it. The game took me about 3 hours to complete. I've played the other two Greed games and I enjoyed those as well.
So, if you have a spare PCC and want something to play, go and check out the Greed games. They are great to play in between those big grunty games we play. You can stop, go off and do something else, come back and know exactly where you are.
Well, in all honesty the game was okay. Its nothing like the earlier game, so I was a bit disappointed. In the main game you play Astrid who has to rescue your sister Lynn, and the bonus game is about Lynn who is getting married to .... (nope, not going to spoil it for you). Actually, I liked the bonus game better than the main game.
There is:
* Gale,Tempest, Typhoon, Calamity and Custom modes; * Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Interactive map; * Diary; * 10 Achievements (some with 3 circles); * Amulet (only lightening to charge it); * Find spirals throughout the game and bonus.
The graphics are great - everywhere is crystal clear and well detailed. Sound is good and the music is mainly orchestral and guitar.
The hidden object games are interactive straightforward, silhouette and spot the difference. Items are very clear to see and grab. Remember to collect the morphing object in each HOP so you get an achievement.
The mini-games are all mostly very easy and I did nearly all of them in a couple of minutes. Only finding and matching symbols took me the most time. These are not my favourite and I tend to dread them. However, you may like them and there are plenty of them to do.
There is an amulet that you will have with you throughout the game which needs to be charged by lightening and then you do a simple mini-game before you use it. I didn't mind using the amulet as this is your only weapon.
There is one spiral to find throughout each scene in the game and bonus. Most of these are easy to spot, however a few were quite elusive. Find them all and you get an achievement.
All up the game and bonus took me about 5 hours or so to play.
Overall, its an average game without any new material that I haven't seen before. However, if you feel like an easy breezy adventure game without getting too involved, this game will be adequate.
Your friend, Mary, disappears and it's up to you to save her. Uncover an exotic land with unearthly secrets as you find and help your friend leave the flying island.
I can never get enough of sci-fi games and I really liked this one. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Casual, Normal and Expert modes of play; * Notepad; * 28 Achievements.
At first when I started playing I didn't really like the graphics. It was the cut scenes that looked hand-drawn and comic like. However, for the rest of the game the graphics are good. Scenes are clear to see for you to grab items needed.
Sound is good and the music is mainly orchestral.
The hidden object games are interactive fragmented pieces (FROGs). I enjoyed doing these because they always have a good challenge to them. Each HOP takes about 5 minutes or so to do.
Some of the mini-games are quite challenging and I took my time with these ones. I played on Expert mode, so no skipping them without starting the game again. In all honesty they are not too hard but just take a bit of concentration. We have actually done all these mini-games before in the past, but these were ramped up a bit to make you think.
There are 28 Achievements to get. Most of these are from accomplishing each mini-game. I got 27 because I didn't play the tutorial (didn't think to!).
All up the game took me just under 4 hours to play (definitely taking my time with the mini-games).
Overall, a terrific game. It has its challenges, the story line is easy to follow and I enjoyed doing the FROGs.
Definitely comes recommended. Happy playing fishies.
In the midst of a battle for the Academy of Alchemy, a young promising student, Eliana, is sent on a dangerous mission of retrieving three powerful artifacts, the Dragon Crystals.
The main game is about Eliana Marcius who must stop the Dragon Lord and the bonus game is about helping the fairy world which is in trouble from a gargoyle.
This game is perfect to play with younger family members as the story line is easy to follow and the mini-games are easy to play. Its quite a long game too. There is:
* Casual, Advanced, Expert and Custom modes; * Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Interactive map; * Objectives book; * Find 16 witches hats, 42 crests and 8 ghosts (main game only) * 21 Achievements (bronze, silver and gold); * Dahlia, a tiny fairy, to help you.
The graphics are good, with colours being easy on the eye. In most scenes items you need are clear to see and grab. The music is orchestral and easy to listen to.
The hidden object games are interactive straightforward, silhouette and finding 20 specific objects. These also had morphing objects in them as well, which I loved. Now, I found these had quite a good challenge to them as there were always those last couple of elusive items to find, some of which took me a while.
The mini-games are very easy to play and you can get back to the game pretty quickly. However, I enjoyed doing them.
You have Dahlia, a tiny fairy, to help you get items out of your reach. She's not intrusive or chatty and is just there when you need her.
Throughout the game you have to find 16 witches hats, 42 crests and 8 ghosts. I found the witches hats and ghosts easy to find, however the 42 crests have more challenge. Some scenes are quite fully detailed and it took me a while to find some of the crests. Get them all and you get achievements.
All up the game and bonus took me a good 6 hours or so. Its a long game and I played it throughout the week.
Overall, an enjoyable game with plenty to do. I love Brave Giant and have all their hidden object games.
Wow, what a fabulous game and I enjoyed every minute of it. In the main game you once again play Diana who is thrust into a new dimension. The bonus game is about an Elder who must rescue a boy who is about to become a human sacrifice. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Casual, Advanced, Hard and Custom modes; * Interactive map; * Diary; * 22 Achievements; * Find 30 morphing objects (in the main game) * Find 4 Vases, 4 Golden Dishes, 4 Masks, 7 Shells, 5 Beetles and 6 Snake Heads in the main game; * Find 12 Statuettes in the bonus game.
The graphics are stunning and I was utterly blown away at how detailed everything was. There was no expense saved here, so you are in for a treat. Sound is good and the music is orchestral and very beautiful (sounds like North American Indian music).
The hidden object games are interactive straightforward, silhouette and putting items back. Because the graphics are so good, items are easy to see. Each HOP takes about 5 minutes or so.
There are a great variety of mini-games to play which range from easy to medium. I enjoyed them all and never felt bored. I'm sure you will find your favourite ones there.
It was great that in Custom mode I could turn everything off. I particularly like turning the "hand" off so I can find the morphing objects and collectibles myself. Great for expert players.
In each scene there is a morphing object and a collectible to find. I grabbed these first before doing anything so I didn't forget about them. Get them all and you get achievements. If you find all the morphing objects then you get an additional 20 levels of bonus mini-games.
All up the game took me about 6 hours or so to play. I played quite slowly because I didn't want to miss anything. I was disappointed when it finished because I wanted to carry on.
Overall a fabulous game with all the bells and whistles you could wish for. Please don't let this game pass you by - its a gem.
I enjoyed the game. The main game is about what happened to Alvin and the bonus game is about Holly and her father at the Mayer's Roadside Hotel.
There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Casual, Medium, Hard and Custom modes of play; * Interactive map; * 20 Achievements (some with 3 circles); * Case Report Book; * Find morphing objects, lore cards and piles of leaves.
The graphics are excellent and everywhere is clear to see. Colours are deep and rich which I liked. Sound is good and the music is the Ravenhearst theme.
The hidden object games are interactive straightforward and silhouette. Items are very clear to see and each one only takes a few minutes to do. Keep an eye out in each HOP for pieces of paper with a heart torn in two. Each one you collect will be put in Alvin's letter for you to read in the Extras.
The mini-games are fun to do. There are a few super puzzles there, but don't worry because they are not hard to do and you can skip them if you don't like them. I love doing the super puzzles and to spend time nutting them out, but these ones are really easy.
I found I didn't need to use the interactive map because you are only undertaking tasks in a couple of scenes at a time. However, do use it once because you will get an achievement for it.
There are a variety of morphing objects, lore cards to find and piles of leaves to kick in the game and bonus. You never know what it is going to be in each scene. I enjoyed finding these.
All up the game and bonus took me about 5 hours or so during the course of the week.
Overall, I liked the game as there is plenty to do in each scene, the story line is good (although quite sad) and there are lots of mini-games and HOPs to play.
