This is a very enjoyable game with plenty to do in each scene. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Casual, Advance, Hard and Custom modes of play; * Interactive map; * 17 Achievements; * Notebook.
The graphics are not bad but it is very dark in most scenes. However, it is an old house with lots of ghosts and creepy sounds to keep you company, so I suppose it has to be dark to add that ambiance to the game. Sound is good and the music is orchestral and piano.
The hidden object games are mainly interactive straightforward which you will do twice. These are easy to do and each one only takes a couple of minutes. Items are clear to see.
There are a huge range of mini-games and I enjoyed them all. These ranged from easy to medium. There are a few of my favourite ones in there as well. None are too hard or boring and I'm sure you will be able to conquer them all without any problem.
You also have a cellphone with apps to help you. This does not hinder the game in any way and it was fun using it.
So do you get the CE or SE? In the CE there are 72 morphs to find in the game and bonus (puzzle pieces), Collections, finding and collecting coins to play some extra mini-games (these are fun to do) and all the usual extras and bling we like.
All up the game and bonus took me about 5 hours to play. I took my time as there was lots to do and it wasn't always obvious what to do next. I enjoyed that.
Overall, a fabulous game and well worth putting in your collection. Happy playing fishies.

As you go through the game and bonus, you will collect coins. When you have enough coins then go to Collections and play some extra mini-games. These are fun to do.
There are 72 morphs (puzzle pieces) to find throughout the game and bonus. In some scenes these were actually hard to spot. There are 6 puzzles in total which you can complete any time you like. I did these are I went through the game.
You also have a cellphone with apps to help you. This does not hinder the game in any way and it was fun using it.

I quite enjoyed this game which is about James trying to find and rescue Rachel. There's plenty to do in each scene and it had a certain amount of creepiness to it. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Casual, Advance and Hardcore modes of play; * Interactive map; * P.A.T.R.I.C.K to help you.
The graphics are good. Its quite darkish and grey but I feel that it added ambiance to the game. There are plenty of scenes to explore and lots to do.
Sound is good and the music is orchestral.
The hidden object games are interactive straightforward, silhouette and finding 6 pairs. These are easy to do and each one only takes a few minutes.
There are a good variety of mini-games - some of which are slightly harder. I enjoyed doing these and played them all. None are too hard or frustrating which would make you want to skip them.
You have P.A.T.R.I.C.K which is a gadget you use to help you find hidden places. Each time you use it, you will play a mini-game - like rotating tiles to get in the right order, etc. One of them was quite tricky which took me a while to do.
So, do you get the CE or SE? The bonus game carries on a short time later from the main game which is is about James and Rachel helping her colleagues' ghosts to RIP. I quite enjoyed the bonus game. There are 25 morphs and 20 picture pieces to find throughout the game and bonus. However, these are very easy to spot and a hand comes over them anyway, so no chance of missing any. There is also an achievements board. At the end of the game, there is a Secret Room where you need to find 4 cameras, 8 EVP recorders, 12 ghosts, 16 skulls, 20 Valentine's Portraits and 8 P.A.T.R.I.C.K trackers.
All up the game, bonus and extras took me about 4 hours or so to complete. Its not a difficult game to play, so you can just chill out and play without too much thought process.
In this game you play Vivian to rescue your fiance Matt from some pretty hideous vampires and monsters. This is a terrific game and definitely worth playing.
There are voiceovers and Casual and Advanced modes of play. There is no interactive map or a diary, but I don't think they were needed anyway.
The graphics are very good. Items are clear to see and find and I loved going through each scene never knowing what to expect next. I thought Vivian and Matt looked quite lifelike and the vampires looked the part - ugly and scary. The ambiance of the game is creepy with plenty of monsters and vampires to keep you company.
Sound is good and the music is orchestral and piano.
The hidden object games are interactive straightforward. If an item is blue then you will need to integrate it with something else. You will play each HOP once. I enjoyed doing these. They are easy to do and items are very clear to see.
The mini-games range from easy to medium. I've seen them all before but I enjoyed doing them again. There are the usual sliding tiles, picture puzzles, untangling vines, etc.
All up, the game took me about 4 hours doing all the HOPs and mini-games, so not too long or short. However, I really wanted to keep playing because I was enjoying it.
Overall, a great game. So, if you have a spare coupon and want a decent game to play, then this will be perfect for you. Beware, it is quite a creepy game and you will be killing vampires and monsters.
Well, this is rather a cute game and very easy to play. The main game is about Jane Stone finding Joe, and the bonus is about helping Joe's mother and sealing the portal. There is a little twist in the bonus where Jane finds out information about herself and Joe. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Casual, Advance, Hardcore and Custom modes; * Interactive map; * Achievements Board; * Find 36 morphing objects in game and bonus; * Find 32 fragments and 12 characters.
The graphics are very good. The game is colourful with plenty of creep factor to keep you on your toes. Everywhere is clear to see and to grab items you need. The music is orchestral with lots of creaking boards and ghostly figures whizzing by.
The hidden object games are interactive straightforward, silhouette, putting back items to match, finding 6 pairs and 8 morphing objects. These are incredibly easy to do because items you need are clear to see. Each one only takes a couple of minutes to do.
The hidden object games ranged from being very easy to medium. The symbols mini-games are the hardest for me as I don't enjoy them. There are a good variety of mini-games to play and I'm sure you will find ones you like.
I found I didn't need to use the interactive map at all because you are only going to a few scenes at a time before you move on, so there was no need to use it.
I managed to get all the achievements, but it wasn't hard to accomplish.
In the Secret Room you will do 4 puzzles of 8 pieces each, which you probably take you about 2 minutes to do.
All up the game and bonus took me about 5 hours, not playing fast.
Overall, a pretty good game. There is plenty to do in each scene and will appeal to beginners or for fishies to wile away an afternoon.
Louis the Clown and Mr. Dudley are back in an all-new adventure! Travel through the dark corners of history's most famous fairytales to rescue children trapped in a frightening netherworld!
This game is spectacular and has everything you could wish for. Its a long game with plenty to do in each scene. There is:
* Casual and Expert modes of play; * Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Diary.
The graphics are very good - its a colourful game with plenty to look at in each scene. Items are clear to find and the scenery is gorgeous.
Sound is good and the music is orchestral (which sounds identical to the Ravenhearst music).
The hidden object games are ever so slightly interactive straightforward which you will do twice. Items are clear to see and grab. Each HOP will only take a few minutes.
There are a huge amount of mini-games to play - ranging from easy to quite hard. I've seen them all before but I loved doing them again. Some of them you think are going to be easy turns out to be harder than you think. However, they are all fun to play.
There is no interactive map in this game but it doesn't matter because you are only going to a few scenes at a time before you move on, so you won't get lost.
All up, the game took me a good 9 hours to do - playing all the HOPs and mini-games without skipping or hinting, so really good value for your buck.
If you do get stuck, you can look in the walkthrough on-line.
Overall, a fab game. Oh, how I wish all games were like this - great graphics, story-line and that sense of urgency to help the children. Well done devs.
So if you have a few PCCs available, then go and get this series. You will wonder why it took so long to find these treasures.
I loved this game and it was fun to catch up with some of the characters from the previous Lost Land games. Once again, you play Susan in this game. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Casual, Advanced, Hard and Custom modes of play; * Interactive map; * Diary.
The graphics are spectacular - colourful, well defined and perfect on the eyes. I loved roaming around each beautiful scene never knowing what to expect next.
Sound is very good and the music is orchestral.
The hidden object games are highly interactive silhouette where you find one item to use to find another, etc. These had a good challenge to them and I enjoyed all of them. Each ones takes about 5-10 minutes to do.
There are a huge variety of mini-games to play - some of which are very challenging. The first mini-game threw me into a spin - what looked so easy took me 30 minutes to conquer! The fairy mini-game with the laser beams also took me a while as well. All the mini-games are fun to do and there were a few I hadn't seen before as well. I played them all and really enjoyed them.
The interactive map works well in you need it. There are lots of locations to go to. However, it is easy to remember where tasks are to do.
So do you get the CE or SE? In the CE the bonus is about Maaron and Fulner which is separate to the main story. There are 21 Achievements, 30 morphing objects, finding 7 Gloves, 8 Icicles, 8 Owls, 7 Stained Glass, 13 Books (in the main game) and 12 Horses (in the bonus game).
All up the game, bonus and extras took me over 10 hours to complete, so well worth your hard-earned money.
Overall, a fabulous game to play and I really enjoyed it. The story line, graphics and challenge makes this game series one of my favourites. Well done to the devs.
Definitely comes recommended. Happy playing fishies
This game is most definitely not for everyone's taste and I lost my patience many times with it.
There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Regular and Expert modes of play; * Map (but not an interactive map); * Diary.
The graphics are okay, but mostly it is very dark in most places and hard to know what to do next. Sound is good and the music is orchestral but doesn't really fit with the game. I expected more spooky darker music.
There are a phenomenal amount of hidden object games to play - up to 3 in each scene. Now, the game can be very picky where you click on an object - you have to be very precise, especially in long skinny items like pens, arrows, etc. I found this to be quite frustrating at times because I knew it was the right item, but it took a good 3-4 clicks on different parts of the item to get it. I also noticed that some of the items are very small to see, so this would not be great for some fishies who would struggle with this.
There are not a lot of mini-games to play, however I did play them all without any problem and enjoyed them. I didn't see any that were too hard or boring.
I noticed from the beginning that areas of interest where you find items do not close after you have found them, which is weird. They stay open, even though there is nothing to do or collect in that particular area. I think that needs to be addressed in any future games.
The map is not interactive but does show you where HOPs, mini-games or items of interest are if you get stuck. All up the game took me about 4 hours or so. I won't be playing it again.

All up the game, bonus and extras took me about 4 hours or so during the course of the week. Its not a difficult game to play, so you can just chill out and play without too much thought process.
The main game is about Kate to find and help Grandpa and the bonus is about Mordecai to find the Star's Tears to save his wife Marina. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Novice, Apprentice, Master, Champion and Swordsmith modes; * Interactive map; * 10 Achievements (some with 3 circles); * Find 32 swirls in game and bonus.
The graphics are mainly pretty good. Some scenes are dark, but the majority of them you can see the items needed and to undertake tasks. Sound is good and I loved the different types of music - especially in the HOP games.
The hidden object games are interactive silhouette and straightforward. Most of the HOPs take only a few minutes, but there were about 3 or 4 which take much longer. I never got the achievement for this because they were too long and time ran out to get 3 stars. So I mainly concentrated on getting 100% but only 1 star for these ones. Each HOP has a morphing object, so keep an eye out for them.
I liked the mini-games. I've seen them all before but it was enjoyable doing them again. None of them are hard to do and you can get back to the game quickly.
There are 32 swirls to find throughout the game and bonus. They are easy to spot and I made sure I grabbed it first in each scene before doing anything else. Get them all and you get an achievement and then you can do an Ultimate HOP at the end of the game.
All up the game and bonus took me about 4 hours or so. I liked most of the game but I didn't much like having to find so many symbols. They're not fun to do.
Overall, not a bad game to play. Its not to everyone's taste, so its probably better to trial before you buy.
